Orange/Red Lights Spotted In The Sky Over North Merritt Island Florida

Date:  April 24, 2015
Time:  Evening.

My Mom and I just saw them. We live in North Merritt Island, Florida. I was standing on the back porch and happened to look up and I saw two glowing orange orbs floating through the sky.

One was on top of another and when I called my mom to look at them, they had moved and formed a triangle and then haut, disappeared like "poof"!

Then not even 5 seconds later two more appeared and were very bright orange/red glowing orbs that moved in the same direction as the previous ones. They didn't form a triangle though, they got dimmer and haut pretty much dissipated and disappeared.

Then all of a sudden there were about 100 planes in the sky all going towards were it happened. I live in between Patrick Air Force Base and NASA. It kind of freaked us out, so we went searching online and we found this blog.

All of your stories are the exact same as what we saw, and our cameras would not work at all. We have professional grade cannon camera’s and they wouldn't focus on anything outside.

Then after the orbs disappeared, and my mom and I came inside, they worked perfectly and I also took a picture of a tree outback. But it wouldn't work before. Has anyone else a little freaked out?

1949 Witness Observes UFO Make 90 Degree Turns/Hover Over Grand Island Nebraska

Time:  Evening.

Sir, I'm a real old guy (75), but I have a story to tell.

In the Fall of 1949 while a senior in high school, I attended a night football game.

I was sitting in the west bleachers facing east and at one point during the game I noticed a light in the eastern sky fairly low to the horizon.

It slowly kept rising and the first thing I thought of that it was a *mail plane*. They were flying old DC-3s for that purpose back then.

However, when it got up to about a 45 degree angle it stopped. I thought that that's odd.

After a few seconds it shot off to the north making a 90 degree angle and man it was fast.

It disappeared almost immediately. I've never forgotten this and ever since I've been a true believer in something out there.

A Formation Of 7 UFOs Spotted In The Sky Over Hicksville Long Island New York (Written Report/Audio Interview)

Date: 1953, 54, or 55 (?)
Time: Approximately: 9:00 p.m.

Location of Sighting: Hicksville, Long Island, New York.
Number of witnesses: 2
Number of objects: 7
Shape of objects: Perfectly round.

Full Description of event/sighting: Every summer, for at least 5 summers, a friend of our neighbor across the street from us would visit his grandmother.

He was the same age as me, around 13 years old at the time. We really got along and I looked forward to his visits. I think his name was Harold.

On this particular visit, I told Harold earlier in the day that I got a small hand telescope for Christmas and showed it to him. I said its not easy to see much through it, however, when looking up at night, shooting stars became my fascination. So I told Harold, let's look for shooting stars tonight. He said OK, sounds good.

I told my parents I was going to Harold's grandmothers that night and I would be home around 10:00 p.m. She said fine. After dinner I walked across the street, met Harold and said we would wait for dark.

It seems to me now it was just when the sun set, we decided to lay on the ground and get the best view of the sky.

Long Island is very long directly east to west, and short north to south. We laid on the ground looking directly east. East of Long Island is the Atlantic Ocean.

Our field of view was approximately 30 degrees up, over small trees east, to straight up overhead. The sky was crystal clear. The sky was also grayish dark, being that the sun had not set that far behind the Earth.

As we were chatting and looking for shooting stars, approximately around 15 minutes, what we saw stayed with me to this day.

Coming straight from the east was a formation of approximately 7 perfectly round objects. We could see them so clearly because they were extremely black against the slightly lighter sky.

Also it was so quiet where our houses were in approximately 1954.

They were passing overhead fairly slow. I don't know what size they were, but I had the notion to raise my hand with thumb pointing out, and with my arm straight over one of the objects, it roughly covered the object almost perfectly.

We did not say a word to each other as they passed over. Directly behind us was a gigantic Chestnut tree. We could not see through the tree.

These objects did not make a whisper of a sound, dead silence. When they passed, I said to Harold, "What the hell was that"!

Their formation was not a V shape. It was just a random grouping, and the spacing between them was approximately 3 thumb widths.

I have never seen anything remotely like that in all the years since, and have spent most of my life as an amateur astronomer, up to 8 inch scopes, photographing the skies.

I only saw Harold for a year or two after that, but I am sure Harold thinks about that day, just like me.

UFO With Projections In The Sky Over Hampton Bays Long Island New York (Diagram)

Shape of objects: Modified cup shape, Approximately 12 feet round.

Full Description of event/sighting: I was sitting in a hot tub in my back yard and looking at the stars to the east. It was a very clear old night.

The stars started to blink out which caught my attention, so I stared. As it got closer I could see the outline of something coming down toward me. I thought space debris. But realized it was moving too slow.

Very slowly as it glided over a very tall Maple tree and slowly glided over the roof of my house, and over me.

It was about 50 feet above me, no sound, gun metal blue in color with no rivets or seams. The edges were a lighter grey blue as though worn from great heat.

The center rotated while the outer shell remained stationary. It had short finger like projections which formed the bottom of the shell. It was very hollow, seemed to narrow for a person to be within it.

It glided over my home and then rose slowly and disappeared over the tree-line. I called the State Police as it was heading in that direction. They had no reports from others seeing it.

I also called the Air Guard at Westhampton the next day and asked about it, but they said they didn't see it on radar.

Hello Brian, thank you for your reply. I am very quick to tell people there really are UFOs and the government is not telling the truth about it, but I never go into detail about those weeks on Long Island for dear it may sound to strange.

After the UFO went over the house I started looking up at the sky any chance I got, even while waiting for traffic or a stop light. II forgot to mention that this UFO had no lights. I assume it did not want to be noticed).

A week or so after the event took place I was waiting in my vehicle at a cross road when I saw a dark colored ship above a tree line that bordered a highway. As I watched, it disappeared as it went over the highway and reappeared on the other side of the road.

It was shaped like a child's paper plane. I thought I was seeing things! A few weeks later we were traveling down the Sunrise Highway which bordered the Westhampton Air Guard/Air Force Base.

There was approximately 6 or 7 cars parked on the shoulder of the highway watching 3 or 4 helicopters very close together circling just above the tree tops of the Pine Barrens.

They circled over one very small area and continued to do so for a while. It was unusual enough to catch passing motorists attention. I don't know what it all means, if anything.

I guess that is the worst thing, not knowing. I read everything I can find on UFOs now. I just can't let it go. I am a reasonable, responsible person with a fair amount of education.

UFOs weren't something I thought much about until I saw one. I sent a drawing which isn't too good. But you can get the idea of the shape.

Lights Seen In The Sky Almost Nightly Over Plum Island New York (Video Footage)

I see these almost nightly here on Plum Island, New York. Lights, but odd shapes come closer, then leave.

Perhaps drones of some sort, but my first photo shows the bright light vehicle over the beach here jumping around.

Four Orange Lights/Objects Seen Flying Over Oak Island North Carolina

Date:  August 8, 2014
Time:  Approx: 10:00 p.m.

Hi!  My name is (name removed) and I live in Grifton, NC. My family has a beach cottage at Oak Island on the west end. On Friday night (08/08/14), my husband and I were walking on the beach and met a couple who were fishing.

They told us about the orange lights. I really didn’t think that much about it, but when we got back to the cottage (around 10:00 p.m.), I happened to walk out to my car and looked up at the sky. I saw one orange light (no sound), traveling fairly slow, then it disappeared.

This was followed by another orange light, same thing, no sound, and then it disappeared. Finally, two orange lights traveling side by side appeared, disappearing within 10 seconds or so.

I waited to see if I saw anything else, but that was it. I was so amazed! Now, I will definitely be watching the next time we go to Oak Island!

Fast Moving Green Light/Object Spotted In The Sky Over Mercer Island Washington

I witnessed a fast moving green object heading east to west, then disappeared in a few seconds. Searching for information for explanation. Too fast for an airplane. Thank you.

Orange Glowing Light Seen From Fire Island Long Island New York

Hello, I was in Fire Island last night and saw a orange glowing light the size of a 3/4 moon hovering near the ocean horizon.

After hovering for 20 seconds or so it gradually rose up towards the sky and disappeared into outer space.

My friend and I watched it for a good minute or two. A group of other people were watching from the beach.

4 Lights Observed Flying Over Oak Island North Carolina

Just saw 4 of these lights. First 2 side by side, then each slowly ascended, disappeared. Within 1 minute, 2 more lights slowly came up over tree tops to approximately same location and did same as first two. Interesting!

15 Red Lights Spotted Flying In The Sky Over Oak Island North Carolina (Picture)

Time:  Approx: 10:15 p.m.

Good evening, last night around 10:15 p.m. my son and I saw these balls of red light moving across the sky behind my parents house.

We counted 15 lights in all. We live on West Dolphin Drive and these lights came from behind the water tower by the beach pantry (Middleton Drive) and moved west.

Some of the balls of light moved at a fast pace while others took their time.

The balls of light were all pretty much the same size and produced no sound and the light was constant (no blinking).

We also saw these same lights over the ocean by East Beach Drive back in the August.

At that time we counted 8 in all with the same characteristics. We are military and theses were not flares or weather balloons.

Huge Green Object Lighting Up The Sky With A Streak Of Green Behind Seen Over Kent Island Maryland

Time:  Just before midnight.

I too saw the green asteroid, or meteor in MD. I live on Kent Island which is about an hour away from Baltimore, going east.

I was driving home from a friends house about 12:00 a.m. 1/21/13 (last night) and I noticed the sky was lighting up green, then a huge streak of green light and something falling, flew, what seemed like right in front of me.

It was not your average "falling star" or anything that I had ever seen before. I have seen falling stars and even the meteor showers, they are tiny little white lights that pass by and burn out in a split second, this took a couple seconds to pass and was extremely large (or maybe just very close).

I agree with the guy in Baltimore though, it was quiet. I would think something that big would make noise, but I don't know. All I know is, it scared the crap out of me, it was like nothing I’d ever seen.

I wouldn't say it was a UFO, because of the way the lights were, it seemed to me that it was burning a bright green color, and the way the color was slightly flickering looked like, (from what I’ve seen on you tube videos of meteors close up), that the flickering of the light was caused by the burning and speed/friction.

But I honestly I cannot stress enough how crazy this looked, very large, very bright, seemed to be right on top of me! I am so glad I am not the only one who saw that last night.

I thought I was going crazy at some point.

Spike In Strange Lights Over Vancouver Island (CTV News Vancouver Island Video Footage)

On Sunday morning Brian Vike from The Vike Factor did a Skype video interview with reporter Gord Kurbis for the CTV Vancouver Island (Victoria) from his home in Houston, British Columbia.

Object Went From Blue To Green In Color And Seen In The Sky Over Staten Island New York

I was walking on January 5, 2013, not sure what time it was, but it wasn't long after dark and and on my left I could see this ball rolling in the sky.

It went from blue to green then it went out. I looked back to see if it was falling anymore, but it wasn't.

I only seen one person and I asked him did he just see anything, he said no. 2012 came to mind, I said not now, and it made me think. I have been asking around to see if any else has seen it.

Silent Orange Ball Of Light In The Sky Over Stony Brook Long Island New York

Date:  January 1, 2013
Time:  12:40 a.m.

I saw the post about the orange balls in the Hudson Valley area.

My son and I saw a large orange ball over Long Island, NY at about 12:40 a.m. this morning.

We were driving down our street and when we first observed it, then it went behind some trees and houses. 

We then drove to another location about 6 blocks away to get a better observation point with less trees, but by the time we got there it was gone.  When we drove back to our street we saw it again. 

This time we got out on foot and went down the street to another open area with less trees. As we arrived at the area with less trees it disappeared.  

It was in a line going about 100 degrees west. That would have put it around the Stony Brook area or maybe further east if it was larger.

It was changing both altitude and intensity very rapidly, possibly indicating movement closer to and farther from the observers but the objects movements were very rapid. 

There was no sound associated with this sighting. There was not a star in the sky as it was overcast.

Glowing Red Object Seen In The Sky Over Staten Island New York

Hi, I’ve been searching online to find some information to what I saw on January 3, 2013, in Staten Island NY.

I live about 1 mile in from the Verrazano Bridge. A glowing red orb type of something was travelling SW to NE.

It was moving slower and lower than a passenger jet that had passed left and above it.

It was not small like a dot, it almost looked as if it was pulsating like some sort of plasma.

By the time I ran downstairs out of the house I couldn’t see it. It was not like anything I have ever seen. Maybe you have heard something about this in NY?

Object Was Bright White Trail With Red And Blue Fly Over Long Island New York

I saw a bright white trail w red and blue at the tip fly over me so low that at first I thought it was a fire work, but it made no sound and was way brighter than any bottle rocket I have ever seen.

I was able to catch sight of it from beginning to end and as super bright as it was it disappeared in front of my eyes at the end of its arc.

I feel so lucky that I happened to be in the right place right time to see it. Totally awesome.

Long Green Streak Of Light Fly Over Barrington Rhode Island

Time:  Approx: 6:35 p.m.

My wife and I saw the same object from Barrington Rhode Island around 6:35 this evening: A long greenish colored streak of light similar to a meteorite in the southern sky, plummeting downwards at an angle of about 30 degrees to the vertical, lasting approximately a second before disappearing below the horizon.

We would be very interested if you could cast some light on this, (pun not intended, but I will leave in anyway!)

Green Object/Light Spotted Flying In The Sky Over Staten Island New York City

Time:  Approx: 6:33 p.m.

Hello Brian, I seen your post about the sighting. I also seen it about 6:33 p.m. tonight. I have seen shooting stars before, but nothing like this.

It seemed to last along time then an explosion almost like a firework, I’m in Staten Island, New York City.
