Vertical Streak Of Bright Glowing Orange Light Seen In The Sky From Chicago Illinois

Time:  Evening.

Just same the same exact vertical streak of bright orange light in the western sky, looking from Chicago. It was like someone slit the sky with a knife and the wound was glowing bright orange.

It did not move or fade in and out until it just faded away for good after about 10 minuets after we first saw it. The date was Saturday September 20, 2014.

Huge Green Object Lighting Up The Sky With A Streak Of Green Behind Seen Over Kent Island Maryland

Time:  Just before midnight.

I too saw the green asteroid, or meteor in MD. I live on Kent Island which is about an hour away from Baltimore, going east.

I was driving home from a friends house about 12:00 a.m. 1/21/13 (last night) and I noticed the sky was lighting up green, then a huge streak of green light and something falling, flew, what seemed like right in front of me.

It was not your average "falling star" or anything that I had ever seen before. I have seen falling stars and even the meteor showers, they are tiny little white lights that pass by and burn out in a split second, this took a couple seconds to pass and was extremely large (or maybe just very close).

I agree with the guy in Baltimore though, it was quiet. I would think something that big would make noise, but I don't know. All I know is, it scared the crap out of me, it was like nothing I’d ever seen.

I wouldn't say it was a UFO, because of the way the lights were, it seemed to me that it was burning a bright green color, and the way the color was slightly flickering looked like, (from what I’ve seen on you tube videos of meteors close up), that the flickering of the light was caused by the burning and speed/friction.

But I honestly I cannot stress enough how crazy this looked, very large, very bright, seemed to be right on top of me! I am so glad I am not the only one who saw that last night.

I thought I was going crazy at some point.

Bright Blue Streak Of Light Lit Up The Area Over Elk Grove California

Time:  Approx: 5:20 a.m.

I was sitting in our back porch around 5:15 a.m. on January 17, 2013, facing North in our Elk Grove home, in the southern boundary of Sacramento. 

At approximately 5:20 a.m., I saw a bright blue streak of light lit up our neighbor's pine tree. 

I looked up only to see a streak of "jet like" streak of smoke from the northeastern direction. 

I'm curious to know if it's in fact a meteor, and if so, where did it actually land.

Long Green Streak Of Light Fly Over Barrington Rhode Island

Time:  Approx: 6:35 p.m.

My wife and I saw the same object from Barrington Rhode Island around 6:35 this evening: A long greenish colored streak of light similar to a meteorite in the southern sky, plummeting downwards at an angle of about 30 degrees to the vertical, lasting approximately a second before disappearing below the horizon.

We would be very interested if you could cast some light on this, (pun not intended, but I will leave in anyway!)

Bright Blue Streak Across The Sky Over Waynesboro Pennsylvania

Tonight I saw a bright blue light streak across the sky around 6:30 in Wanynesboro, PA.

We were facing east/south east. The light didn't have a long tail as most shooting stars do. I know we're in the peak of a meteor shower as well, but I've never seen anything quite like it.

It seemed to be fairly close. I've been searching the internet for the past 2 hours for any information and your site is the only one showing recent activity.

Red Streak Spotted High In The Sky Over Taylor Michigan

Time:  Approx: 8:00 p.m.

I was walking into my house in Taylor, Michigan at approximately 8:00 p.m. December 29, 2012 saw a red streak.

I stared at it as I called my daughter who was in the house to come see it, by the time she grabbed her shoes, it faded, but it was not a firework.

It was a red streak that was too high to be sent up by human, unless it was a plane letting out red smoke, but maybe I didn’t see the plane, anyway, it was their for a good 30 seconds to a minute from the time I noticed it then the clouds covered it, so I don't know.

I always look at the sky and this was a freaky first.

Green Streak Of Light Looked Like It Came From The Sky Over Irvine California

I saw a green light/streak while looking northwest from Irvine. The time was around 1:30 a.m., but I'm not sure. I was coming back from a holiday lunch, feeling full and drowsy.

The direction I looked is towards John Wayne airport so I thought I misjudged what I saw, but I asked a co-worker in another car and he said he thought he saw it too. I presume it was a meteorite.

Three Active Duty U.S. Army Servicemen Observe Green Object Streak Across The Sky Over El Paso Texas

I Googled El Paso UFO and came upon your site. On November 10, 2012 someone reported a bright green light streaking across the sky.

I would like to let you know that myself and two friends just witnessed the same phenomena (we are all three active duty U.S. Army as well).

We saw the green light streak across the sky at cloud level at about 19:00 local. The object was seen North of the 375 near the were the 601 Spur dead ends in to it.

It was moving from south to north at incredible speed.

Deep Red Streak Of Fire In The Sky Seen From Southeast Michigan

I live in southeast Michigan and at approximately 10:10 p.m. this evening, I was outside looking to the west and saw a deep red streak on the bottom part of the horizon.

It was hard to make out details given the distance, however it was nothing I've seem before. It seemed as though it was a streak of fire in the sky.

I watched this for just under a minute and then the streak slowly dissipated. Was very interesting and similar to the description here.

Fast Moving Circular Blue Light With Green Streak Following Seen From Buckman Bridge Jacksonville Florida

Hi, I'm scientific in general, but I try to keep my mind open a bit to new phenomenon.

My friend says he eye witnessed a strange light over the Buckman Bridge this morning a about 5:30 am. It was a blue light and in the shape of a circular orb.

 

It’s movement was to the west in a jet-like or faster speed. It left behind a green streak as it moved. What was stranger was that it made a right angle turn in upwards into the clouds that was not jet-like in that it was too quick and angular in its change of direction.

I Googled blue lights over Jacksonville and found your posts.

Do you know of any other reports of this incident?

Object Leaves Huge Bright White Streak Over Mesquite Texas

Message: Me and my friend were outside while he was smoking a cigarette, and I happened to look up at the sky at the same time a huge bright white streak crossed the sky. It looked very close to earth, relatively lower than the maximum altitude of an airplane. It's speed was unlike anything I've ever seen. It literally traveled halfway across the sky in less than a second and the trail took up most of my vision.

I spent a while online afterwards watching as many meteor videos as I could and none of them even reached close to the speed this object was traveling. Also, whenever meteorites come into the earth's atmosphere there will be some type of debris coming off of it and there wasn't any, it was a continuous streak. It was the craziest thing I've ever seen.

Outskirts Of Bunkerhill Indiana A Neon Rainbow Streak Loops (UFO)

Time: Around 10:00 - 11:00 p.m.

I recently have seen something that I wish I would of caught on film or video but due to the circumstances it didn't happen.

I was on my way home, in my friends truck driving on a road on the outskirts of Bunkerhill which is about 20 min from the town of Kokomo, Indiana that on April 16 had the sonic boom UFO event.

This is actually what lead me to your post on UFOinfo.com.

We were in the car talking about anything that came to mind and was listening to music, and just having a good time at around 10 to 11 pm on I believe November 6, 2008.

We were going about our business when I noticed a light ahead of us, but didn't think much of it at the time, it looked very similar to a plane, and due to Grissom Air Force base being so close I assumed it was a plane until a few minutes later when it had moved a few feet in my perspective of view.

I had lost all interest in it and had said nothing to my friend. But then all of the sudden the light that had been so normal, and not at all odd flashed, and caught my attention as I looked in it's direction again in time to see if for a split second make a almost neon rainbow-like streak that phased into several almost loop like waves (I recall 3) that branched out from the main stream and was gone as soon as I saw it. Leaving nothing behind.

I sat there and was thinking,"what did I just see" when my friend perks up asking if I just saw that, and I ask him what he saw and he seemed shook up and he saw something almost just like I did without me saying a word of what I had seen to him. I was shook up after that.

I have never seen anything like that before and I have lived in the same home since I was born. I am 18. When it was a light, it was not moving downward but straight with a little up and down movement that was very suttle.

Thus it could not of been a meteor which I have seen several times.

North Hollywood, California Streak Of Bright Light And Foul Smell

Full Description of event/sighting: I don't know what it was. I was walking down the street (in my neighborhood in North Hollywood) to the grocery store and in the sky there was this really bright streak of light. I thought it might be someone experimenting with some sort of fireworks but there was absolutely no sound from it, and the flare from it was white and much bigger than any fireworks I've ever seen. Then I thought maybe it was a rocket or maybe a plane exploding, but again it was white light not like fire and the thing that was unusual was, there was no sound at all. Also there was this odor in the air that I noticed before seeing this, like some sort of chemical or something, similar to bleach. I don't know if this was related or not. Did anyone else see this?

Mesa, Arizona A Streak Of Light With Trail

Location of Sighting: SE Sky, while on patio.

Shape of objects: Streak of Light with trail - makes a Z pattern.

Full Description of event/sighting: I went out to smoke a cigarette at about 1 am on the morning of May 5th. My patio faces South, and I was looking around the night sky with binoculars (for earlier tonight I had a strange sighting that continued until I arrived home at approx 11 pm, and only ended an hour or so ago *12 am*) and just took notice of all the stars I couldn't see with my naked eye. Venus was at about 10:00 o'clock in my line of sight where I began standing, and I moved to the side of the patio-putting Venus at about 1:00 o'clock in my sight. I had just put the binoculars down when a flash of light, up and to my right, caught my eye. I quickly looked up and saw a golden/yellow ball of light shot through the night sky-it seemed to maintain direction for a good half second (leaving a trail of light behind it) before quickly slowing down, making a quick 45 degree backwards movement, and shooting back forward and disappearing. This whole sequence lasted only a few seconds, but the trailing/illuminated light left by this movement formed a slightly angled Z shape (if the top and bottom lines were longer and the / was minimally sized at best). Best I can describe it is that it shot through the sky-appearing out of nowhere-and seemed to abruptly slow down before kicking back and shooting away as quickly as it appeared. I thought initially it to be a meteor-until it made the Z kick and shot off into nothingness.

I've seen a few things very recently that have deeply intrigued me, but this was unbelievable. I also saw something similar (a huge streak of light) that was enormous in comparison-but I can't form the description to make it even remotely believable. It also occurred during a strange night. Over the last 3 weeks or so, there have been a handful of things I planned to report but never felt urged to. Tonight I got on here and immediately reported it (my first one ever!)-that's how incredible this was. Thanks for your time.

Tacoma, Washington Streaking Object And Black Helicopters

Full Description of event/sighting: I am a regular visitor of your website. I happen to live in Tacoma, Washington, as most of you are familiar it's one of the cities located in the Pacific Northwest. Although most time of the year the sky is covered with clouds in this region, I did happen to witness some of the activities when the sky was clear. I sometimes think if there would be much more sightings if the skies were more clear in our region.

On one day I was heading to work around two o'clock past afternoon. I noticed in the sky about six black helicopters traveling in a group in one direction. As many people know living here the air way is quite busy around the area because there is the Air Force Base, and Sea-Tac Airport about twenty miles away. But I never witnessed black helicopters traveling in a group in the same direction.

Anyway, on the same day as I was going home from work about one o'clock at night I saw something very bright streaking across the sky. I only had a glimpse of it a couple of seconds. It looked like it was reducing speed, unlike the meteorite you would see that travels at constant speed. It was far more bigger and brighter. I had a thought that the black helicopters I saw earlier that day had something to do with that sighting.

I do feel like we are being visited and evaluated. On number of occasions I saw things like circular objects the size of the moon passing through the clouds with the speed that's much greater than the usual aircraft. I also saw a round shiny silvery object not from a far distance close enough to see a shadow underneath it.

Some people think that places in Canada are a UFO hotspot, but given the clouds here in the Northwest we might be just as visited, only with the obstruction of view. I'm now looking into visiting James Gilliland at Mount Adams here in Washington state, as I did come into few sources about the sighting of UFO's at that place.

Hot Springs Village Arkansas A Bright Streak Of Fire

Date: July 24, 2007 Time: Approx: 8:30 p.m.

Hot SPrings Village, AR USA, due east of Hwy 7 North.

Approach Direction: West to east and dropping straight down from the sky over a period of approximately 15 minuets. Departure Direction: Dropped from the sky. Witness Direction: Driving east on N. Hwy 7.

Description: Bright streak of fire (orange and red) falling from the sky. I watched it until it fell behind the ridge.

Color/Shape: It was far away. All I could see was the streak of fire not the shape of the object that caused it.

Height & Speed: several miles high and falling fast. It looked to be falling from west to east but the road that I was on was very winding so I am not sure.

TV/Radio/Press: I waited to hear something but did not hear any reports. This kind of bothers me because I can't be the only one who saw this thing.
