I came across your site after searching Google. I just saw this tonight, 01/02/2016 around midnight.

When I first saw it I thought it was a shooting star because it appeared out of no where and was headed north of me.

I am in South St. Louis area. First time to ever see anything like it, and I gotta say it made the hair on the back of my neck stand up lol.

Lights Moving Clockwise And Counter Clockwise Downtown St Louis Missouri

Date:  March 20, 2016

Time:  8:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.

Downtown St Louis, MO, 3/20/16 at 8-830 p.m.) I saw two lights in the very cloudy sky tonight. One going clockwise and one counter clockwise; both in the same path. I didn't see a beam either. I tried capturing the event on camera, but from the ground it was too close to get the full circle.

I thought it was strange, but there must be a sane explanation for this.

 I didn't find the explanation here, but felt I should document the siting at least. It is still going on now, but I'm not staying outside of my apartment building to watch it.

Beam Of Light Hits State Police Officer And Eyewitnesses Watch UFO On The Ground At Poplar Bluff Missouri (Written Report/Audio Interview)

Date: Early 70's
Time: Just at Sundown.

Location of Sighting: Highway 60 just north of Highway 67 by Poplar Bluff, Missouri.
Number of witnesses: 4
Number of objects: 1
Shape of objects: Oval.

Full Description of event/sighting: Brian, could you send me a number so I could talk to you on this as I am not a very good writer.

What happened was, my Grandfather and I and his brother where on our way to Poplar Bluff, Missouri to do some shopping and on the way we saw a bright light just up the road, it was kind of like when head lights on a car shine over a hill as it comes toward you.

The light became brighter as we got closer to the top of the hill. When we topped the hill, we saw a State Police car sitting in the middle of the road with the driver door open.

My grandfather stopped the car and started to get out. We were looking at the light in the trees just off the road, the light looked like a beam that was shining on the Police car and we could see the Trooper half in the car and half out.

His head was down like he was going to fall out of the car. The story has more, but it would be easier for me to just tell you.

The UFO or ship lifted up out of the trees in a few minutes and hovered for a little while then it just zoomed off very fast.

I will tell you about the trooper when you call, also this was written up in the Poplar Bluff News paper. I have not tried to look this up and our family had a cutout of the paper for years, but I do not know who has it at this time.

Where the UFO sat, the trees were damaged. We went back to the site the next day, and I went back a few years later and the marks were still on the trees.

There where three prints in the ground where it sat on it's struts, that we saw folding up when it lifted up out of the trees.

Brian I wrote you about this about a year ago, and I wrote to another group, but I never heard anything back. If you could contact me on this as I grew up in Piedmont Mo. and that was the time of many UFO sightings.

One of many types, and I got to see many of them as they happened.

Huge Orange Glowing Ball Of Light Seen Flying Over Creve Coeur St. Louis County Missouri (Picture)

Time:  Approximately 2:00 a.m. or 3:00 a.m.

Hi, this past New Year (2015) around 2:00 a.m. or 3:00 a.m. in the morning, my dog and I were outside and I saw a huge orange glowing ball in the sky from my house in Creve Coeur St. Louis County Missouri.

Even my dog stopped and stared at it even though it was making no noise. It looked like it had a beam coming out the bottom of it.

It was moving fast from the left to the right then a few moments later, shot up in sky and disappeared.  

I took a picture where you can see the ball and something coming out the bottom of it if you look closely.

Did you find out what this could be? Looks like it happens every New Years all around the world from what I'm reading online.

2 Orange Lights Traveling At A High Rate Of Speed Over Salem Missouri

Time:  Evening.

I just seen 2 orange lights moving at high speed go over Salem Missouri headed roughly toward St. Louis, Missouri

I couldn't tell the shape, but they where under the clouds. They did not look like any aircraft I have seen before. Any ideas?

4 Lights Circling In The Sky Over Kansas City Missouri (Sounds Like Searchlights)

White Lights Moving In A Circular Pattern Over St. Louis, Missouri

Date:  September 5, 2014
Time:  Approx: 7:30 p.m.

I guess I'm the latest lucky one to the "sightings group of circular moving lights in the sky".

I've been trying to see if there are any others reporting this to TV, internet etc. in St. Louis, Missouri tonight 9/5/2014, but only found wicked lighting, heavy blanketing clouds and rain was earlier stated on the tube.

The clouds did have a majestic look earlier before the rain started this evening.

Now, let's get to the lights. These have been appearing for the last 2 or 3 hours since about 7:30 p.m., off and on after the last rain fall. They appeared south of me and have a definite fast moving circular pattern.

I first noticed 3 or 4 white lights spaced apart moving through the clouds in a west to east noodling ovals (but a deliberate loose pattern) with no light source from land, fading and glowing brighter at times but not changing color.

The white lights where to largely disbursed in size, plus inside the clouds dimming or glowing brighter for lazars to be the answer. As stated before by others maybe from above or actually from self emitting electrical glow surges passing in and out through the different shaded cloud forms.

Hypnotic and entertaining in ways to say the least.

Now that's the first part of what I saw because I have a few strange things to add. I went inside my dwellings to grab my binoculars to see if I could see better into the clouded lights, but that proved to make not much improvement to what I was seeing.

Also by the time I did come back it had changed to 2 circular loops with about 8 to 10 white lights moving in opposite directions in a figure 8, but not continuous to crossing paths to each other's loop.

When the white lights did come to their meeting center point it made for a simultaneous 4 bright lighted section glow. I've never seen anything like this before. I watched for about an hour.

I went inside to check the news and came back out about 30 minutes later to see the circles gone, but there was a faint moving lighted plasma pattern effect to a cloud form in the middle of where the figure 8 was.

I watched for awhile and went inside again to reappear about an hour later to see the whole thing had started again with circles farther south, miles away toward my southern horizon. It seemed to be moving with just that one cloud group form.

Maybe a new or ancient natural electrical phenomenon from earth's past, global warming anyone !

4 Orange Diamond Shaped UFOs/Lights Seen Over St. Louis Missouri (Video Footage)

On August 23, 2014 four diamond shaped UFO's were directly over my head at St. Louis, Missouri.

The 4 of them passed by one after the other. The video is of the last one. The first one was as big as a Van and I got a huge eyeful of crazy.

Orange Red Pink Ball Of Light Hovers Over The Tree Line At Warrenton Missouri

Time:  Evening.

I saw the same exact thing tonight over Warrenton, Missouri. I was so puzzled by what I seen, I came inside to Google it and for your deception. I first noticed an orange/red/pinkish ball of light hovering over a distant tree line and the saw another ball of light float up and connect to it.

Then I saw a third ball of light float up and connect to the other, which then made a giant reddish crescent and it desolated.

Humming And Vibration From UFO Made Witness Feel Dizzy And Sick Over Ozark Missouri

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I don't know what it is that I seen, but I don't think it could be a plane. I heard a humming and felt a vibration. I looked straight up to see this huge object flying really low above my head.

It was flying slow and in a straight line from east to west. It had four yellowish lights on each point and one white light in the center. As soon as it was above me, all the birds took off and my cat was acting scared and confused under my feet.

I felt dizzy and sick, but I watched it until it was behind the trees and I could no longer see it. Then I went in and had to sit down because I felt way to dizzy to stand.

I was not frightened by this. Just wonder what it could be?

UFO Drops From The Clouds And Hovers Over The Ground At St. Louis Missouri

Full Description of Event/Sighting: My niece and I were outside on the porch at midnight watching the fireworks. I happened to look over to watch something come down from the clouds, and just hover there in the sky.

It was a red ball of light that gradually got brighter and brighter. At first I thought it was a flare or something, but it didn't come from the ground. It hovered there for a good 3 minutes and wobbled a little.

Then very, very slowly moved across the sky dimmed changed to a green color it was barely visible then disappeared.

Sky Lit Up A Brilliant Green Seen From South Of Festus Missouri

Last night at approximately 11:00 p.m. I was heading south on 55 near the Festus exit and noticed the sky in front of me straight down highway 55 lit up in green.

Like a green horizon across the sky. I saw it three
times. 

My daughter luckily saw it once when I told her to look. Not sure what it was. I have never seen anything like it before. Very bright. Anyone else mention this?

Object Flashing Bright Red And Blue Over Springfield Missouri (The Star Sirius)

Sighting near Springfield, Missouri at 2:00 a.m. A coworker and I witnessed a UFO while on lunch. It's seemed to have remained in around the same area southeast Springfield, Missouri.

It was flashing/shining bright light with looked like blue and then every minute or so would have a flash of red, not sure if it was spinning like the other light we were seeing with it. Very odd.

Blue Colored Object Turned Bright White Streaking Across The Sky Over St Louis Missouri

Time:  Evening.

The thing I saw yesterday, started with a bluish comet light thing streaking across the sky that turned bright white then disappeared.

Then what your describing appeared and started to hover in the area, first one, then two, then five. Myself,  my daughter and two people I don't know saw the same thing.

I'm not crazy and don't believe in UFO's, but what the hell was that.

Additional Information:

We saw it in St Louis, Missouri coming up highway 70 4 miles west of the airport, as a matter of fact it looked like it started there and shot 4 miles in four seconds the turned bright white and disappeared.

Then right after that I thought they were helicopters, but four to five things hovered around the area that the blue/white comet thing disappeared and continue to hover spreading out across the sky for at least an hour.

Once again at highway 70 entering at Charles, MO west of Lamprey airport.

Also in Blue Springs, MO approximately 400 miles away the exact same thing was seen, same colors. Orbs were witnessed and video taped.  

We also have video, so now I know I'm not crazy. That's a total of at least 10 people that saw the same thing hundreds of miles apart

Witness Saw 7 Flashes Of Blue/Green In The Sky Over St. Louis Missouri

Time:  Around 1:00 a.m. - 2:00 a.m.

Hey early December 20, 2012 around 1:00 a.m. - 2:00 a.m. there were flashes (like a camera flash). Over and over again filling my room with light for a split second through the window.

No thunder and it was only one single light for a millisecond every couple minutes. I saw it about 7 times.

Blue Flash Of Light Spotted In The Sky From 10 Miles East Of St. Louis Missouri

I live about 10 miles East of St. Louis. I also observed the blue flash of light coming from the direction of St. Louis.

It flashed about 3 to 4 times and was a dark green, almost bluish color. It was extremely bright. It was sometime around 8 pm.

4 Luminous Objects In The Sky Over Glendale Missouri

Date:  November 24, 2012
Time:  9:00 p.m.

On  24 November 2012, at 21:00 hours CST approx, while driving south on North Sappington Rd in Glendale, MO, I saw 4 luminous objects of unknown shape flying low, slow and absolutely silent.
These craft were coming out of the south, heading north, at a constant altitude of maybe 2,500 to 3,000 feet AGL. approximately.
Each of the objects had 2 amber colored lights at front and one red light at the rear. The objects then turned  to the east. These objects flew single file with unevenly spaced distances between them.  
The last object in line seemed to cut off its lights as it was turning east. The duration of this sighting was 5 minutes approximately. I inquired with several news media in St. Louis if anyone had made a UFO report for the same time and date, all said no.
