Canadian UFO Investigator Brian Vike’s Note: On March 29, 2015 I received an email from a lady who was looking for a telephone interview I did with her brother for my radio show. I replied and told her I would have a look to see if I could locate the clip, which I did. I wrote telling her I did find it, and that I would be happy to send it along. So I removed the music, etc. and uploaded it so she could download the clip. She also told me that her brother had passed away the day after Christmas 2007, and her niece was trying to locate the recording. I was happy I had the opportunity to speak with her brother over what it was he saw. Below, the interview I had with her brother.

Full Description of event/sighting: April 6, 2007 at approximately 5:40 a.m. PST. Skies are clear, and sun has not risen yet.

While walking to my workplace from the parking lot, I observed a bright white light directly over my workplace. The object appeared to be hovering at an altitude of a few hundred feet or less.

I first thought it might be a helicopter as they do lift equipment in from time to time, but only in daylight with plenty of safety precautions, but there was no sound.

The bright light appeared to be oriented north to south at this time and I was facing due west. Light emanating from the object was shining southward and was spreading out like a floodlight at approximately 135 degrees wide, but it did not appear to penetrate very far.

Light shining northward from object appeared to be "star like".

There appeared to be a box-like shape of light between the north and south extremities of the object. I walked toward my building for about 30 yards while watching the object hover in place and fluctuate in brightness slightly.

I stopped walking and stared due west at the object. At this point the object, shot/rocketed/propelled northward at a very high rate of speed.

By my guess of where the second event occurred, by judging the mountains (pacific coastal) behind it, my best estimate is about 20 miles in one second !

The final action of this event was astounding. When the light traveled, it appeared star-like then flashed out. During the flash there appeared to be an explosion or burst, no flame, but 8 - 10 rectangular objects were propelled further northward. These objects looked like giant ice cubes were luminescent aqua blue color and were in a near perfect circle, like a big smoke ring getting farther apart as it the traveled northward.

The whole process took maybe 3 seconds. Judging by the last fading light and the relation to the mountains behind it the cubes it appeared to over San Mateo or Redwood city.

This is a distance of 20- 25 miles from Sunnyvale. side note. I work for a large defense contractor situated between Onizuka Air Force Base and Moffet Field. anyone traveling north or south on highway 101 that morning could have seen this event! Thanks.

Hour And A Half Interview - UFO Causes Power Surge And Military Jets In Pursuit Over Fresno California (Audio Interview/Written Report)

Full Description of event/sighting: Hi Brian, my husband and I sent you our sighting report of 12 white orbs that we saw and photographed over Los Banos, California on August 28, 2005, which you posted. You have asked for older reports so I am attaching a sighting my girlfriend and I had in 1969 which involved two jets chasing after a UFO spotted near the Fresno, CA Airport.

Clovis California, June, 1969 - It was about 10:00 p.m. on a warm clear evening, mid June of 1969. I had just graduated from High School and my best friend and I were sitting outside my home enjoying the clear dark sky and brilliantly shining stars.

On a whim, we decided that we wanted to go to a late-night market in Fresno, about five miles away and buy some magazines to read. We got into my car and began to drive south to a shopping center near the Fresno Airport.

Along the way we decided to take a short cut on a small road adjacent to the airport which was flanked by an open field. We turned right onto the small two lane road and were now driving along side the field and which was several hundred feet away from the fenced area near the end of the airport runway, which we could see clearly, including buildings and planes of the local Air National Guard.

There were no street lights and the road was dark with no traffic, except for us. As we drove by we could see that most of the airport activities had stopped for the evening, which was normal, as no aircraft landed or took off from there at that time of night.

We continued down the road talking, when I noticed my friend leaning forward in the passenger seat staring up at something in the sky. She motioned to me to look out my driver's side window saying, "what is that?"

I looked out the window and saw an intense white strobing light hovering above, apparently keeping pace with my car. I slowed down and it continued to follow at the same pace. As our windows were down, we most certainly would have heard an engine, was it a plane, but it made no noise at all.

Not knowing what we were seeing, I pulled over, stopped the car and we both got out to take a better look. We were mesmerized by the intense white light of the object which now appeared diamond shaped and strobing quickly as it hovered above us.

It was hard to estimate it’s altitude and size, but we guessed at arms length it would have been the size of a basketball. By now two other cars had come up behind us and had pulled off the road to look as well. Within moments the object started to move away from us, and began to pick up speed. All of a sudden we heard the roar of jet engines and looked up to see two military jets lifting off the runway in hot pursuit of this object.

The jets passed directly over us, so close that we could see the landing gear retract. We watched as the jets tried to close on the object. We were in a flat area of land and we could clearly see the object and jets streaking away from us heading due west.

As the jets began to close on the object, the object slowed and appeared to hover over the jets as if teasing them, and then it made an incredible 90 degree turn with several jerking, zigzag movements and shot off at tremendous speed to the south directly over downtown Fresno.

The jets were left in its wake. We immediately jumped back into the car and decided to head home to tell our families what we had just witnessed.

It was about 10:45 p.m. when we reached the main intersection of town where we were stopped waiting the signal light to change. Suddenly all of the signal lights, and street lights started flashing on and off, including the caution lights at the train tracks which were directly in front of us beyond the intersection.

A large bolt of electricity shot down a power line near the road, arcing and snapping until it got to the end and dissipated. We sat there watching these lights flashing on and off around us for about 3 - 4 minutes and then they all stopped and the signal turned green.

We looked at each other and I floored it through the intersection and didn't let off the gas until we got to my friends home only a few blocks away.

When we pulled up to her house, some of the neighbors were all outside talking excitedly about what had just happened with the lights in the neighborhood. Of course they asked us if we saw it and we told them that we had witnessed that, and more.

Wanting to confirm what we had seen earlier, we ran inside the house to phone the airport. Incredibly, the call was answered by a man in the control tower.

I told him we had observed something in the sky close to the airport less than an hour ago and asked him if two National Guard jets had taken off to check it out.

I was told point-blank that no planes had taken off at all that night. I asked him again, if he was sure, and he told me once again that no planes had taken off.

We knew we weren't going to get any further with him and we also knew he had to be lying as we saw the jets with our own eyes and had close enough to read the numbers on the planes.

We told our families about what we had seen and received polite, yet insincere statements like, "wow that must have been something". But we knew they didn't believe us.

There was nothing in the local news the next day about a strange object in the sky or equally strange power surge and nothing was ever said about it again, except between my friend and me.

We've recounted that night many times over the years, even up to this day. We know what we saw; we know what happened.

Canadian UFO Investigator Brian Vike’s Note: I have Jeff Challender’s UFO footage on DVD somewhere packed up in a box, I did look, but there is just to much to go through, so I can’t provide the video in this posting.

The Late Jeff Challender of Project Prove.

Jeff Challender (Project Prove) reports, "on the 12th of May 2004, my wife and her friend were out on front lawn as my 17 year old son got off the school bus.

A helicopter flew overhead and when they looked up, an unusual object was also seen that was much higher and further away.

My wife called me out and it looked like a silvery Mylar helium balloons. I asked my wife to bring me our camcorder so that I might capture the event on tape. I turned on the camcorder, and aimed in the direction of the object.

When I found it in the viewfinder, I zoomed in to 500x, the maximum this camcorder is capable of and the object was bright, and flashing on and off.

It was moving east, whilst the wind was SSW, 10 - 15 mph. As the object proceeded east, it became obvious that it would soon pass behind a tree in a neighbor's yard. The tree limbs offered a point of reference to gauge speed and direction with greater accuracy.

The stationary tree showed that the object was not only tacking across the wind, but "skipping" side to side, and apparently, up and down as well.

I am reminded of Kenneth Arnold's 1947 description of his UFO sighting. He stated that the objects he saw behaved like a "saucer skipping on water". This object behaved in much the same manner, although it never presented any appearance of a saucer shape.

Throughout the event, it was a flashing light of varying brightness. In addition, the flashing was uneven. After two minutes of recording, the object disappeared behind a tree, and did not return.

We cannot identify it. The witnesses were, myself age 51, my wife Janet age 47, her friend Sharon Springs age 45, and my son Max age 17.

We are all willing to swear before almighty God that this statement is a true and accurate account of what we observed with our own eyes. Thanks to Jeff Challender.

UFO/UFOs Another Strange Sighting In The Sky Over McIntosh New Mexico (Pictures/Written Report/Audio Interview)

Weather Conditions: Cool and clear.

UFO Investigator Brian Vike’s Note: First of all, thank you to UFOINFO for sending this report along to me. http://www.ufoinfo.com/ Over the years while investigating UFO sightings, I have found that there has been an upswing in UFO reports over some areas, such as a huge fire that took place in 2003 and was called the Okanagan Mountain Park Fire.

There were a lot of reports coming in, was there a connection to the fire, I don’t know, but it seemed strange that so many people saw some really strange things in the sky at that time.

Eyewitness Description: I live in McIntosh, New Mexico. That's about 15-20 miles north of where the object was sighted over the fire area. That evening I went out to see if I could see the glow of the fire and see if it was getting any worse.

I was looking up at the stars and noticed that one of them was flashing alot, and very colorfully, I thought maybe a helicopter, until it moved very quickly about an 1" in the sky, at that point I went for my camera, it's only a 5 megapixal with a 3x zoom.

I zoomed all out, and set the camera on the moon light setting and set the camera on the car roof to steady it. I centered the object in the middle of the screen and started shooting.

I watched it for at least another 45 minutes. It didn't move during that time. I was getting cold and went inside to see what I might have. Only one of maybe a 100 shots came out, and it was a really good one I think. You can see for yourself.

I did report it to MUFON, but they haven't even posted it to the sightings on the web, why I don't know, so until it is recognized for what it is, a UFO, I'm not going to stop trying to let it be known that there is a totally new UFO out there. Don Burleson, was baffled by it, puzzled, and not a clue as to what it might be, except that it was an "Unidentified Ariel Vehicle" and metallic. Here you are, so what do you think?

TV/Radio: Couldn't seem to download it to Koat 7 so nobody really knows at all. MUFON knows, but no response on the web for the other UFO people to view, and you guys.

Additional Information:

This is (name removed), I sent you the UFO report yesterday, I thought you might like to see the newest UFO shape, it had MUFON stumped! The first one you can blow up yourself, to see how far I had to bring it in with my computer. The rest are for you to see, if you can't. Just trying to cover all the bases.

This is no gag, this is a real photo of what was over the Trigo fire, May 3rd. It's such a completely different look, it really is hard to believe. Let me know what you think?

No mistake, I did send in the report on the sighting on May 3rd. Sure hope the photo's made it through too. Somehow I didn't have the very first shot that was never enlarged at all, only telephoto out 3x on camera to center the object.

I had to reload it into my computer from the camera. I'll attach it now. This really is a completely new shape, isn't it. The first, don't enlarge title was for me as a reminder, as not to play with and enlarge and save and lose the original, you do what you like to it. Thank You.

McIntosh NM. This sighting hasn't even been public yet. This really is way to a beautiful a craft to go noticed for so long.

A Formation Of 7 UFOs Spotted In The Sky Over Hicksville Long Island New York (Written Report/Audio Interview)

Time: Approximately: 9:00 p.m.

Location of Sighting: Hicksville, Long Island, New York.
Number of witnesses: 2

Shape of objects: Perfectly round.

Full Description of event/sighting: Every summer, for at least 5 summers, a friend of our neighbor across the street from us would visit his grandmother.

He was the same age as me, around 13 years old at the time. We really got along and I looked forward to his visits. I think his name was Harold.

On this particular visit, I told Harold earlier in the day that I got a small hand telescope for Christmas and showed it to him. I said its not easy to see much through it, however, when looking up at night, shooting stars became my fascination. So I told Harold, let's look for shooting stars tonight. He said OK, sounds good.

I told my parents I was going to Harold's grandmothers that night and I would be home around 10:00 p.m. She said fine. After dinner I walked across the street, met Harold and said we would wait for dark.

It seems to me now it was just when the sun set, we decided to lay on the ground and get the best view of the sky.

Long Island is very long directly east to west, and short north to south. We laid on the ground looking directly east. East of Long Island is the Atlantic Ocean.

Our field of view was approximately 30 degrees up, over small trees east, to straight up overhead. The sky was crystal clear. The sky was also grayish dark, being that the sun had not set that far behind the Earth.

As we were chatting and looking for shooting stars, approximately around 15 minutes, what we saw stayed with me to this day.

Coming straight from the east was a formation of approximately 7 perfectly round objects. We could see them so clearly because they were extremely black against the slightly lighter sky.

Also it was so quiet where our houses were in approximately 1954.

They were passing overhead fairly slow. I don't know what size they were, but I had the notion to raise my hand with thumb pointing out, and with my arm straight over one of the objects, it roughly covered the object almost perfectly.

We did not say a word to each other as they passed over. Directly behind us was a gigantic Chestnut tree. We could not see through the tree.

These objects did not make a whisper of a sound, dead silence. When they passed, I said to Harold, "What the hell was that"!

Their formation was not a V shape. It was just a random grouping, and the spacing between them was approximately 3 thumb widths.

I have never seen anything remotely like that in all the years since, and have spent most of my life as an amateur astronomer, up to 8 inch scopes, photographing the skies.

I only saw Harold for a year or two after that, but I am sure Harold thinks about that day, just like me.

Huge Triangular UFOs Spotted And Large Jet Activity In The Sky Over Altoona Iowa (Written Report/Audio Interview)

Date: March 12, 2008 May 2,
Time: 9:15 p.m.

Location of Sighting: Triangular object was heading toward Des Moines and large star object heading southeast from Des Moines.
Number of witnesses: 1 or more hopefully.
Number of objects: 2
Shape of objects: Large bright star object turns from white to red and a very large triangular craft.

Full Description of event/sighting: Brian, I saw two objects back to back tonight. First I was out walking my dog and on our way back towards home. I then noticed three bright lights in a triangular formation to the south of us, the craft was heading west.

This object was silent and couldn't have been a plane, as I didn't hear any noise. Also Brian, there is a large presence of jet air craft in the area speeding about.

I counted more then six. I watched the triangle craft for about four minutes. This thing had dim white lights, and looked huge, to big to be a plane.

It flew over a road with heavy traffic, so someone had to of seen this. I noticed also this thing had a very bright white light on top almost blinding, and I must say I am baffled by this sighting.

Now object 2 that I saw tonight and I have seen on many occasions. It just keeps reappearing. I saw a large bright star object that changed from bright white to red.

I should add it started to glow red. This object came from the west and was heading south east.

I watched it for about two minutes. The weather tonight is partly cloudy and cool. Both objects were easy to see and there was nothing that interfered while viewing of both of these crafts.

A Gigantic Triangular Craft Witnessed Twice Over Altoona Iowa

Shape of objects: Huge triangular object saw it twice.

Full Description of event/sighting: Hey Brian, I sent you an e-mail, not sure if you got it.

I would like to talk to you over the phone about what I witnessed last night. I was watching lightning last night since we had thunderstorms move through the area, and as I watched, I noticed a bright white light moving behind some trees in the southern sky.

The light was moving at a slow pace, but as I continued to watch it suddenly picked up speed. It started to go towards the west very quickly, but then the object switched directions, and started to head east and it slowed down.

I watched the object until I lost sight of it, and then once again Brian, this bright object switched directions again and started heading towards the west again.

As I continued viewing this object, it started to descend. I then could make out three bright white lights that were in a triangle formation. The object then slowed down and a white and red light began flashing beneath the craft.

Just before the object was out of sight, the whole craft just lit up very brightly, and indeed you could tell it was a triangular shaped object.

It had lights all around it. That part freaked me out! I watched this object for a total time of fifteen minutes.

I also saw this same craft on Friday May 2nd at around 10:10 p.m. after leaving work. The object was just as huge, and had the same lights in the triangular formation, but one white light at the back of the craft was flashing.

Both objects were flying very low probably at 7,000 feet up. I was stunned seeing this thing twice.

Two Huge Boomerang UFOs Hovering In The Sky Over Mineral Wells Texas (Written Report/Audio Interview)

Canadian UFO Investigator Brian Vike’s Note: This is rather interesting to hear about the witnesses reactions to  the same type of Boomerang UFO sightings.

In the below report and audio interview the eyewitness explains how no one seemed to care that there was a huge Boomerang UFO hovering in the sky near her grandparents farm, then when she went to town with her Grandpa there was another large Boomerang UFO hovering in the sky, and no one seemed to care the thing was there.

I just got finished reading your story on Coast to Coast, for the fourth time. I was in shock. It brought back a flood of memories for me.

I remember, in the 70's around 74 or 75, when I was a small child, about 4 or 5 years old, seeing something very similar.

We lived in Mineral Wells, Texas. My Dad worked at the AFB near there. I believe it was called Fort Wolters. It was closed down and my dad was relocated.

Anyway, I was at my grandparents and they lived right outside the city limits. Most of my time was spent playing in the West Texas sun.

One day, things were different though. There was this "thing", very similar to what you described (Fort Stockton Texas Case Above) and it just was there.

I was sitting in the shade of the pomegranate bush and I remember seeing it. At one point, I ran inside to tell my grandpa.

At my insistence, he came out and looked and basically said, "What about it” and went back in.

We went into town later that day and there was another one hovering near the gas plant there. That one he seemed more concerned about, as I kept asking him, what is that, and I was told not to worry about.

When we got to the store, I wanted to stay in the truck, but he told me no, I had to come in with him. I asked a few people in the store if they saw the UFO, and they said that they did.

That's it, no excitement, no nothing. I couldn't believe it.

When we got home, I went inside to go to the bathroom or something and it was just gone when I went back outside.

It had stayed there for hours. When I asked my grandparents about it at dinner time, I saw them kind of look at each other and he told me that I had a big imagination, but it "was" there. I know what I saw.

Large Vertical Triangle Spotted In The Sky Over Pomona Valley California (Written Report/Audio Interview)

Time: Around 10:00 p.m.

Weather Conditions: completely clear, cloudless and at least 60 mile visibility.

Description: I lived in Orange County at the time and had come up to San Dimas to visit my parents for the afternoon one summer day. After dinner, when it was time to head home, I decided at the last minute to take a route I normally didn't take.

Driving up from Orange County, I would take I-57 North and then had a choice of either heading West on I-10 and exiting at Via Verde, or continuing up a very steep grade on I-57 and exiting at Via Verde/Bonelli Park.

Heading there, I always opted to take advantage of my inertia and head up the I-57 grade as it was a shorter distance to my folk's house from there. However, on the return trip, I would always travel back via I-10 as re-tracing my path required I drive up to the top of that grade on a surface street from a complete stop and it used a huge amount of fuel to get over 15 mph on that hill. Besides, it gave me the option to take a different path home and see different scenery.

However, this summer evening I felt compelled to take the 'steep route' home, heading up Via Verde and getting on I-57 to travel South. This puts one at the top of a high hill, where you can see almost the entire Pomona Valley spread out below you.

This particular evening it was completely clear with unrestricted visibility and the sparkling lights were quite beautiful to see spread out below.

I suddenly noticed over to my left (E/SE) an odd formation of lights in the sky in the valley below me. It was a vertical triangle with at least three layers of various colored lights which included red and blue--not standard aircraft lighting colors.

What struck me immediately was that it had to be extremely large, given the distance from where I was viewing it; it was hovering motionless and apparently soundless in the sky; and it didn't look like the outline of any type of aircraft or helicopter I'd ever seen in my life.

Both of my parents had their private pilot's licenses, we owned our own airplane and did a lot of flying in the US and Mexico.

I myself had over 30 hours of pilot time, including a night flight from San Francisco to Brackett field and many other night flights in/around the LA basin where I had flown as co-pilot, so I was very familiar with what objects in the evening airspace looked like, and this wasn't anything I'd ever seen. Pomona Valley has a lot of air traffic, as in addition to Brackett field, it lies not far from Ontario International Airport.

I wondered if this might be a UFO, and I pulled over to the side of the road where I could watch it, and kept my engine running. There was very little traffic on the roadway, and I had a clear view of it. Due to the distance and the darkness, I was unable to distinguish any shape to the object other than the vertical triangle formed by the pattern of the exterior lights.

There is a small airfield (Brackett Field) nearby, and I considered it might be some sort of experimental private plane launched from there, but when I rolled down my window, I knew it wasn't any 'normal' aircraft because it was hovering motionless and there was no noise at all. Even from the distance I was viewing it, the 'whump-whump-whump' of helicopter rotors could easily have been distinguished, but this was soundless.

I had never formed any opinion about UFOs before this moment, but any previous reports I'd heard had always described a saucer shape, so I was still doubting what I was seeing.

I experienced a sense of complete awe and, at the precise moment I formed the question in my mind 'If that's a UFO, I wonder if they know I'm watching them?' the automatic door locks on my car began jumping up and down at a very high rate of speed--faster than if I had flipped the switch back and forth--there was no way I could have made them switch on and off as fast as they were going!

The door locks jumped on/off about a half-dozen times and then, suddenly, this object accelerated from zero to an incredible rate of speed--very smoothly and with no turbulence or noise whatsoever, and streaked across the south end of the valley headed West towards Los Angeles.

Because the hillside to my right partially obscured my view to the west, I was unable to determine its exact trajectory, and by the time I got back on the road and looked for it, it was long gone.

I drove home, expecting to see a big news report about it--there was no way I was the only person to have seen such a large and unusual object--but nothing was ever reported. I always wanted to call Brackett Field and see if they'd seen anything on their radar that night, but never did because I'm sure they'd have asked why I wanted to know!

Because of the acoustics of that area, the sound of aircraft flying through the valley is easily distinguished, even from a distance. Also, loud noises-such as would be heard from a jet hitting its after-burners would easily be heard as from my parents house (which is set low and protected behind this large hill), you could clearly hear the sound of the jet-fueled roadsters at the Speedway, which is located to the East and buffered by the hill.

After-burners also produce a distinctly visible light/heat signature, and there was no such thing with this object--it simply streaked off at a high enough rate of speed to clear the entire valley in mere seconds.

The entire sighting only took a few minutes, but it changed my life forever.

TV/Radio: No reports whatsoever, which flabbergasted me, but it dovetails exactly with your CBS Tower sighting and your 1985/1988 : Mission Viejo, California sightings listed on this site.

If you wish to forward on a copy of this incident to both of those people, you have my permission. I'm sure that after all these years, they'd be as delighted as I was to learn they hadn't imagined the whole thing! (Pomona Valley is North of Mission Viejo and when I last saw the object, it was headed towards L.A. so I'm sure these 3 sightings are related.)

Gun Metal Grey Saucer Shaped UFO In The Sky Seen From The Beach At Kihei Maui Hawaii (Written Report/Audio Interview)

Date: July 15, 1973
Time: Approximately 10:00 p.m.

Location: South of Azekas Place on the beach near Little Getty.
Approach Direction: South/west towards Eke Crater.
Departure Direction: North/east coming in 5 miles off the water.
Witness Direction: North/east approximately.

Description: When I first saw the object, I was lying on the beach in my sleeping bag. I looked up and out about 5 or so miles and saw this object a little bigger than a star.

It would be still for a few seconds and then shift to the right then make a beep sound, then wait and then repeat the shift to the right a few more times with a beep sound after each shift.

At this point I closed my eyes for a few seconds and could here inside my head a Morse code type sound pulsating real fast.

Then the object moved quickly towards my right side (north/east) then it hovered slowing turning from right to left just a little as it approached the shoreline. I can't remember where the lights were placed, maybe front, back and middle but it was shaped like an upside-down saucer with a quarter round top.

It went behind the trees and I lost site of the object.

The next morning I talked to a friend that said she was down the beach around the same time I was, and we both interrupted each other to say "I saw a UFO on the beach last night"!

I asked her if she hear the sound from it as it shifted left to right?

She said no, she only heard the little waves breaking on the shore. For about three weeks after that encounter I felt full of a lot of extra energy that I never experienced before.

I play flute and after that encounter my flute playing improved surprisingly, especially my tone quality! I'm still amazed to this day.

Color/Shape: Gun metal grey with the full moon shinning off of it--the shape was of a upside down saucer with a quarter round top half the size of the saucer diameter

Height & Speed: 5-6 miles out and hard to say how high from the water. Hovering speed when it reach the shoreline was approximately 75 to 100 mph.

Bright Box Like UFO Hovering At A Few Hundred Feet Above Sunnyvale California (Written Report/Audio Interview)

Time: Approximately 5:40 a.m.

Location of Sighting: Sunnyvale, California.

Full Description of event/sighting: April 6, 2007 at approximately 5:40 a.m. PST. Skies are clear and sun has not risen yet. While walking to my workplace from the parking lot, I observed a bright white light directly over my workplace.

The object appeared to be hovering at an altitude of a few hundred feet or less. I first thought it might be a helicopter as they do lift equipment in from time to time, but only in daylight with plenty of safety precautions. But there was no sound.

The bright light appeared to be oriented north to south at this time and I was facing due west. Light emanating from the object was shining southward and was spreading out like a floodlight at approximately 135 degrees wide, but it did not appear to penetrate very far. Light shining northward from object appeared to be "star like".

There appeared to be a box-like shape of light between the north and south extremities of the object. I walked toward my building for about 30 yards while watching the object hover in place and fluctuate in brightness slightly.

I stopped walking and stared due west at the object. At this point the object, shot/rocketed/propelled northward at a very high rate of speed.

By my guess of where the second event occurred, by judging the mountains (pacific coastal) behind it, my best estimate is about 20 miles in one second ! The final action of this event was astounding. When the light traveled it appeared star like then flashed out.

During the flash there appeared to be an explosion or burst. No flame, but 8 - 10 rectangular objects were propelled further northward.

These objects looked like giant ice cubes were luminescent aqua blue color and were in a near perfect circle like a big smoke ring getting farther apart as it the traveled northward. The whole process took maybe 3 seconds.

Judging by the last fading light and the relation to the mountains behind it the cubes it appeared to over San Mateo or Redwood city, this is a distance of 20- 25 miles from Sunnyvale.

Side note: I work for a large defense contractor situated between Onizuka Air Force Base and Moffet Field. anyone traveling north or south on highway 101 that morning could have seen this event! Thanks.

Silver Cigar Shaped UFO Seen Flying Over Clayton New Mexico (Brian Vike Interviews Heath - Audio Interview/Written Report/Excellent Diagram)

Full Description of event/sighting: Hi there Brian Vike, I hope I'm not wasting your time because this sighting happened in 1996. I am only now investigating the possibilities because a friend of mine in California, after I told him my story, encouraged me to do so. He feels I should at least explore it.

I never have looked into it because I'm quite skeptical of UFO sightings in regard to the sightings being alien in nature.

I don't know what I saw that day, but I was content to accept it as experimental aircraft of some kind. That said, for what it's worth, here's my story (and thanks for listening, for investing the life, time and energy into reading this--always a costly investment, life, time and energy, and so of course deeply appreciated).

Mid-summer, 1996, a mile west the town of Clayton, New Mexico.

Back in 1996 I was living in New Mexico, in the northeast corner of the state in a tiny cattle town called Clayton, the CO2 capital of the world, or so they claim. We owned a Mom and Pop motel there, about a mile west of town. The name of the motel was (and still is) The Holiday Motel.

You can drive through Clayton, New Mexico to this very day and spend a night at the motel if you want. The motel is open for business and it looks almost exactly the same as it did when I ran it back in '96.

Anyway, the motel is pretty isolated, a mile from town with only cows and flies to keep you company, lots of wind to make you feel alone, and long, long, long and cold blue skies to make you wonder.

I ran the motel alone most of the time. I did have my best buddy, Thor, by my side, my old Rotti, the best dog I've ever had, but other than that, I was alone for long periods of time.

I walked Thor every afternoon. It was 3:00 pm that day, a little windy, a nice and warm summer's day and not a cloud in that long, cold blue sky. Thor and I stopped walking and I sat my butt on the motel's wooden fence, facing north but looking west, looking over my left shoulder into the soon-to-set sun. Thor sat next to me, leaning his big head and muscled upper body on my left thigh, something he often did.

North of the motel there's a mountain called Rabbit Ear. It has an enormous amount of recent human history imbedded in its soil, named after a Native American Chief who fought the settlers wagoning-by on the Santa Fe Trail.

A lot of Native Americans and early American settlers died on the mountain and around it's wide base. It's also a holy site for some Native Americans and shamans. For those reasons, and whatever other reasons there may be, it's a powerful place. I've hiked all over it and always felt it's power, the presence of it, its memory perhaps.

On the day I saw my UFO, I was just hanging with my dog on a beautiful summer's day in northeastern New Mexico, didn't have a lot to do, not a lot on my mind, relaxed, at ease, pretty darn happy. And then I turned to look at Rabbit Ear Mountain.

I saw this silver cigar-shaped thing in the sky, floating over Rabbit Ear, floating over the top of the mountain, one end pointing west, the other end pointing east. It didn't magically appear. I originally looked west and then turned and looked at Rabbit Ear, and that's when I first saw this thing.

It moved over the mountain, casting a shadow, moving slow, slow, slow. I remember frowning when I first saw it because it was so close, so big, moving so slow, and I didn't immediately recognize it. I mean, I knew it was an aircraft right away.

I didn't even question that, not initially: Aircraft. I knew I saw technology. But when I look at a plane or a boat or a car I immediately recognize the technology-why, that's a jet plane or a racing boat or a sports car, you get what I mean, and that didn't happen when I first saw this thing. And that continued not to happen. I kept on seeing an aircraft, I was sure, but one I didn't recognize, which I found a little strange.

I thought, "Well, okay, that's a blimp. Has to be." Because it looked like a blimp, right? A big blimp. A cigar-shaped blimp. And then I wondered, "What the heck is a blimp doing out here?" And then I started to give the thing a serious look-over because at that point my curiosity was piqued, mostly because it didn't look like a blimp at all. It looked like a silver cigar. It looked just like the UFOs I've heard about, those silver cigar-shaped UFOs. I crossed my arms and went all steely-eyed skeptical.

"No way. Nope. That's no UFO. That's a blimp. Has to be." I laughed, maybe a little too much, too strongly.

You have to realize that the mountain and the UFO were not very far away. Rabbit Ear Mountain is a few miles from the motel, right across the street to the north. You could cross the highway, hop the fence, hop a couple more fences, cross another distant road, walk to the base and hike to the top in an afternoon, and you wouldn't be winded either because the slopes are so gradual. You'd make it home before sunset.

The mountain also rests in the wheat-coloured grass of the high planes, so: no trees to block the view, just mellow, easygoing high and empty planes. You can see cows stroll along the rocky top from where I sat.

Rabbit Ear Mountain isn't very big, but even so, at the top it's at least 800 feet across from edge to edge, west to east. I've walked it. About 800 feet, maybe a 1000, but that's pushing it, I think.

The thing is, the aircraft I saw floating over the top of Rabbit Ear stretched the entire top-length of the mountain. That would make it nearly 1000 feet long. That's a whole mile. That would mean the aircraft was about one mile in length and that couldn't be possible.

"Optical illusion," I told myself. And again I said, "Has to be." And then the thing turned north/northeast, turned slowly, just like a blimp would, and began to head away from me, Thor, the motel and the town of Clayton and all those people who lived there.

It had no markings. Not one. Not one that I could recognize, at any rate, not one that I could see. Not a single number, letter, nothing. Just totally silver. No propellers. No jet engines. No engines that I could see and/or recognize.

No engine noise either--silent as the grave. All I could hear was my breathing, my thoughts, and the gentle breeze, and Thor's snorting ('cause he didn't believe it either). It didn't have carriages suspended underneath with a captain and crew like you see on blimps. No tail fins. No windows. No nothing. Nothing that I recognized as ancient and/or modern aircraft technology was on that thing. I couldn't recognize anything about it other than it was a vessel of some kind.

I turned to Thor and asked him, "Well, that the heck do you think about that, good buddy?" And he and I just sat there and watched that silver cigar-shaped thing fade away into the horizon. We watched it for 45 minutes. I studied it for 45 minutes, going over it and over it, trying to figure it out. It never took off like all the other UFOs take off, shwoop! and they're gone in a second, in the blink of an eye. Nope. It just meandered away like an old cowboy on an old horse until I couldn't see it anymore. Just like a blimp would.

I've been told I witnessed an air bubble. Possible, I suppose, some kind of natural phenomenon that I misinterpreted. But I've often asked myself that had it been an air bubble or some kind of natural phenomenon, wouldn't I have understood, wouldn't I have recognized on some basic level, that what I was seeing was natural and not technology, not built, especially after studying it and studying it intensely for 45 minutes? This thing looked built, like a plane or a boat or a car looks built. I've seen air bubbles. I've seen big silver air bubbles. And none of them look built as I understand built to look.

The thing that bothers my friend now is this: okay, so I watched this thing, whatever it was, watched it move slowly over Rabbit Ear Mountain and then turn away and disappear slowly. I watched it for 45 minutes, trying to figure out what the heck it was. And then I shrugged, turned to Thor and said, "Ready for dinner?" and hardly gave it another thought.

I returned to the motel's office with my dog, gave him dinner, turned on the TV and as I watched the X-Files I giggled with my hand over my mouth, giggled about the silver cigar-shaped thing I saw in the sky over Rabbit Ear Mountain.

That's about as far as I ever went with it. I never thought to get the binoculars and take a closer look. I never thought to get the camera and take a photo. I never went to town and asked anyone there if they saw the big silver cigar-shaped UFO in the sky. Never even crossed my mind to do so. This bothers my friend a lot, part of the reason why I'm writing this now.

You might wonder why I behaved like that, think it strange behavior that I reacted so coolly, but I think I simply accepted the fact that what I saw was something I didn't understand, be it air bubble, UFO or experimental aircraft and I was, truly, cool with that.

I tend to lean toward experimental aircraft, something governmental, secret, all that. That's what I tell myself it probably was. That's what I tell myself. Experimental aircraft. Had to be. But I'll never be sure. Air bubble? Experimental aircraft? Alien space ship? Hallucination? If Thor could only talk!

That's it.

UFOs And Strange Being Incident In Mississippi (Brian Vike Interviews Chris) - Audio Interview/Written Report)

Date: Sunday evening in probably late 1958, or, early 1959.

When we were growing up, my mother used to treat all of us kids to cake and ice cream on Sunday evenings whenever she could afford to.

Well, this incident took place on a Sunday evening in probably late 1958, or, early 1959 in what was then the un-incorporated community of Plain,Mississippi.

It has since been incorporated and had it's name changed to the city of Richland.

At the time of this incident, my family and I were living with my uncle and his family. All except my father, who was away in the U.S. Navy.

Anyway, on this particular Sunday night, my mother gathered up all of us, plus my cousin James, and we all headed down to the little country store out on the main highway, which was there at the time.

After she bought us some cake and ice cream, we headed home again. Momma turned off of old highway 49 and on to Harper Road, which in those days was a dirt road with ditches and six-foot high embankments on each side. (Which is typical of roads in the southern U.S.)

We were in her 1950 model Dodge, and as we were cruising along at about 25 mph down that dirt road, my mother and my cousin, who was in the front seat with her, spotted it first.

She slowed down almost to a crawl, thinking at first it was a small child who ran out in the road. As the car slowed down, it undoubtedly must have been frightened, because it first tried to climb the embankment on the right side of the road, and, when it couldn't, it ran in front of the car.

First to the left, then, back to the right, again. As we passed it, I was sitting in the right rear side on the back seat. From my vantage point, I got a good look at this creature.

This is something that I have always remembered to this day. It was not the typical "Grey", as most people have reported seeing when they fill out UFO sighting reports.

Rather, it was of the species known as the "Dwarfs". It was anywhere from 2 to 3 feet tall, had almost human looking eyes, except a little bigger.

It's hands were longer than ours. I can't remember how many digits on each hand, but, it's hands were long and narrow. It's body was very thin.

The main thing that I recall after all these years, was that it was wearing what we would call today, a little miniature astronaut suit. However, it's suit wasn't quite as bulky as the ones that astronauts wear today.

I remember too, that it had some sort of tank attached to it's back, and some sort of breathing apparatus, like a hose, hooked up to it.

I can't recall seeing a helmet. Although, it may have been holding one in one of it's hands. As the car slowly drove past, it looked at me, eyeball to eyeball.

We stared at one another until the creature was out of sight. My mother just couldn't believe what she saw.

However, I know what I saw. That incident on Harper's Road happened over forty years ago, and I'll never forget it. That is a true story.

Beam Of Light Hits State Police Officer And Eyewitnesses Watch UFO On The Ground At Poplar Bluff Missouri (Written Report/Audio Interview)

Date: Early 70's
Time: Just at Sundown.

Location of Sighting: Highway 60 just north of Highway 67 by Poplar Bluff, Missouri.
Number of witnesses: 4
Number of objects: 1
Shape of objects: Oval.

Full Description of event/sighting: Brian, could you send me a number so I could talk to you on this as I am not a very good writer.

What happened was, my Grandfather and I and his brother where on our way to Poplar Bluff, Missouri to do some shopping and on the way we saw a bright light just up the road, it was kind of like when head lights on a car shine over a hill as it comes toward you.

The light became brighter as we got closer to the top of the hill. When we topped the hill, we saw a State Police car sitting in the middle of the road with the driver door open.

My grandfather stopped the car and started to get out. We were looking at the light in the trees just off the road, the light looked like a beam that was shining on the Police car and we could see the Trooper half in the car and half out.

His head was down like he was going to fall out of the car. The story has more, but it would be easier for me to just tell you.

The UFO or ship lifted up out of the trees in a few minutes and hovered for a little while then it just zoomed off very fast.

I will tell you about the trooper when you call, also this was written up in the Poplar Bluff News paper. I have not tried to look this up and our family had a cutout of the paper for years, but I do not know who has it at this time.

Where the UFO sat, the trees were damaged. We went back to the site the next day, and I went back a few years later and the marks were still on the trees.

There where three prints in the ground where it sat on it's struts, that we saw folding up when it lifted up out of the trees.

Brian I wrote you about this about a year ago, and I wrote to another group, but I never heard anything back. If you could contact me on this as I grew up in Piedmont Mo. and that was the time of many UFO sightings.

One of many types, and I got to see many of them as they happened.
