UFO Three Times Larger Than The Moon Seen From The South Carolina State Prison

Date:  1999
Time:  Evening.

I worked at a South Carolina State Prison back in 1999 and seen something kind of similar to what you described.

I was circling the perimeter of the prison one night, and as I came around one corner, I seen an object that looked like the largest moon I had ever seen in my life.

It looked about three times bigger than the moon when it's closest to the Earth. I stopped the truck and just looked at it, with tears streaming down my face.

I sped around to where another officer was on a post and I took a pair of their binoculars and drove back around to where I seen it, but it was gone. I wish I had stayed a while longer to watch it leave, but I didn't.

I'll always regret that. Sorry it wasn't in the same area as your sighting as you had asked, but I just had to comment on that.

Beam Of Light Hits State Police Officer And Eyewitnesses Watch UFO On The Ground At Poplar Bluff Missouri (Written Report/Audio Interview)

Date: Early 70's
Time: Just at Sundown.

Location of Sighting: Highway 60 just north of Highway 67 by Poplar Bluff, Missouri.
Number of witnesses: 4
Number of objects: 1
Shape of objects: Oval.

Full Description of event/sighting: Brian, could you send me a number so I could talk to you on this as I am not a very good writer.

What happened was, my Grandfather and I and his brother where on our way to Poplar Bluff, Missouri to do some shopping and on the way we saw a bright light just up the road, it was kind of like when head lights on a car shine over a hill as it comes toward you.

The light became brighter as we got closer to the top of the hill. When we topped the hill, we saw a State Police car sitting in the middle of the road with the driver door open.

My grandfather stopped the car and started to get out. We were looking at the light in the trees just off the road, the light looked like a beam that was shining on the Police car and we could see the Trooper half in the car and half out.

His head was down like he was going to fall out of the car. The story has more, but it would be easier for me to just tell you.

The UFO or ship lifted up out of the trees in a few minutes and hovered for a little while then it just zoomed off very fast.

I will tell you about the trooper when you call, also this was written up in the Poplar Bluff News paper. I have not tried to look this up and our family had a cutout of the paper for years, but I do not know who has it at this time.

Where the UFO sat, the trees were damaged. We went back to the site the next day, and I went back a few years later and the marks were still on the trees.

There where three prints in the ground where it sat on it's struts, that we saw folding up when it lifted up out of the trees.

Brian I wrote you about this about a year ago, and I wrote to another group, but I never heard anything back. If you could contact me on this as I grew up in Piedmont Mo. and that was the time of many UFO sightings.

One of many types, and I got to see many of them as they happened.

Weird Object Filmed Over Witnesses Tree In The Great State Of Texas (Pictures)

Hi Brian, I was just getting ready to come in tonight when I saw this light above in the tree.

I had my camera in my pocket, on and ready and snapped one picture of it. Have no idea what it is.

I didn't hear any sound from it and didn't see it move. When I started to take another, it was just gone.

It was about 8:00 p.m., the sky was clear and I didn't see any other aircraft in the vicinity, no wind.

Circling Lights Over The State Of Alabama

Date:  November 20, 2014
Time:  Approx: 8:11 p.m.

I live in Alabama and I was outside around 8:11 p.m., this is on 11-20-14 and I was looking in the sky.

There was a light and it was going in circles between the cloud over and over. My dad was the first one to notice it. It wasn't a spotlight because there was no beam.

I just didn't think, I was crazy or something. It just looked like everything that was described on the website.

Bright Blue Light Streaks Across The Sky Over Garden State Parkway New Jersey

Hello, we are driving on the Garden State parkway and at 8:00 pm at approximately exit 60 we saw a bright blue light streak across the sky. It was huge.

It then turned green and bright white and disappeared. It was not a shooting star.

White Fireballs In The Sky Over The Alabama/Florida State Line

Time:  Evening.

I had something similar happen to me tonight (January 23, 2013)
I had a bizarre experience tonight on the Alabama/Florida state line. I was in the absolute middle of nowhere about 20 miles away from Milton, Florida when I saw four white fireballs in the sky.

They were extremely close, fast, and made no noise at all whatsoever. The fireballs would flash into the sky and then reform into balls of white light and fly around close to each other. I pulled off the highway to see them as did other drivers.

They disappeared and I continued on my drive.

Ten minutes later while driving I noticed a red orb of light slightly smaller than the white ones and more solid to the left of me seemingly going at my pace and following me.

While that was happening the white orbs were back and above me to the right in the sky doing the same thing as before, flaming/flashing into the sky and reforming into balls of white fiery light all the while flying around. Again, they disappeared into thin air.

So, the real kicker to this story is that I was almost home (Navarre, Florida) and I saw three of the white fireballs again and over ten light colored military tanks were pulling out of a side road heading towards where the balls of light were coming from.

Bright Blue Oval Light Seen Falling From The Sky Over The State Of Massachusetts

Time:  12:15 a.m.

Attention: Brian Vike. I saw a post about the bright light. I am up in Massachusetts. I saw the same exact thing last night, at 12:15 am.

I was up late watching TV (as usual) and a very bright blue light caught my eye falling from the sky.

Very bright! It was an orb, more oval, blue ball, like the size of a volleyball. No trail, no noise. Whatever it was fell slow, as slow as a snowflake would fall.

My first reaction was "what the hell was that", and I immediately got up to look out the window, but didn't see anything.

My first thought was perhaps there was a meteor shower or something. Or maybe our neighbors were lighting off fireworks and the hot after effects is what I saw falling.

They weren't and this was clearly bright blue.

Lasted for 3 seconds (the time I saw it, it was perhaps longer, considering the view I had was out my window)

I searched the internet and the only thing I've found that describes this is "ball lightning", but there wasn't lighting in our area. There was a major cold front moving through, which could explain it.

It was really weird to see, had to look it up, so glad to know other people have seen this same thing. If it was ball lightning it is supposed to be very rare to see.

Loud And Bellowing Whoop Sound Hear By Witnesses In Naugatuck State Forest Connecticut (Bigfoot)

On Saturday, January 5th, 2013, my girlfriend and I heard a very loud and bellowing "whoop" that lasted for several seconds.

This happened around 12:20 p.m. in the afternoon in Naugatuck State Forest, CT.

It sounded like we were roughly 20-30 yards away. I will be returning to the forest on Saturday 19th.

White Ball Of Light With Blue Trail Seen From New York State Thruway

My husband and I were traveling down the NYS Thruway (I-87) last night around the same time (6:30 p.m.), near the Catskill exit and we saw it! It was just a white ball of light moving in the east.

I thought it was a shooting star, until it crossed the thruway appearing to fall to the earth, and had a blue streak of light behind it. It appeared very close, not like a shooting star.

As it crossed to the west, it seemed to die out. Would like to know what this was and where it landed. Seeing the posted that it was seen west of where we were, I can't imagine what this was.

Object Streaked Through The Sky And Broke Up Into Embers Seen From New York State

I saw some similar posts on your site. Me my wife and her friend were traveling southbound on New Yorks thruway on January 5, around 6:30 p.m. near exit 18 or 19.

We saw what looked like a huge meteor or shooting star coming toward earth at angle. 

Streaked with tail and then broke up into embers like a firework. My second thought is that it was an aircraft crashing, but it was moving really fast.  

Please post this. I'm looking on Internet about news relating to this. My theory is military testing of rockets or something.

8 Red Balls Of Light Flying Over The State Of Maryland

I am in Maryland and me and a couple of friends were outside shortly after midnight when we saw 3 red balls of light and then 2 more and then about 8 all together. Hovering in the sky.

Then it looked like a ball of fire fall toward the ground. It was very freaky. None of us have ever seen anything like this before. I was wondering if anyone else in Maryland might have seen it also.

Orange Balls Of Light Spotted Flying Over The State Of South Carolina

Time:  8:06 p.m.

On Sunday December 30, 2012 at 8:06 p.m. my neighbor called me to come out onto my porch since my house is higher up than his. He had noticed a orange colored ball of light traveling upwards in the sky and then would disappear.

He said there was about 5 of them. I wasn't able to see them because by the time I had gotten out they were gone.

I chalked it up to maybe a kid in the neighborhood getting some kind of toy for Christmas, but then when my boyfriend called me the next morning (he is a truck driver) and said he had seen a orange light going up in the sky above South Carolina I figured the was something about it.

I have researched the orange balls of light on Google and haven't been able to find anything about it, but did run across your site. Solar flares and meteors are out of the question since the balls are going upward in the sky.

Have you been able to find anything out?

My friend and I were driving back home on the New Jersey Garden State parkway in the Clifton area and it was about 2:05 a.m. or so and luckily we both noticed from the corner of our eyes in the sky a bright blue light zip across the sky.

We knew it wasn't a plane or a shooting star, but a UFO!

Bright Green Light Seen Flying Over The State Of Texas

Time:  Approx: 1:00 a.m.

Hello, my name is (name removed), I live in Texas. On our drive back from one of my in-laws house, my wife and I both noticed a very bright green light, by itself, above us, on the east side of the sky.

As soon as I saw it and pointed it out to her, we notice it hovering for just a moment then began to pick up a tremendous amount of speed, and fly straight over the road we were on, over to the south-westward sky and suddenly disappear.

This happened very, very quickly. Only took maybe 15-20 seconds. The thing is, the only commercial airports near us were to the north of us.

The weird thing about this next part is what is really strange, during the way down, the sky was pretty much clear (around 3:00 p.m.) and we saw around 20 planes flying over us within 10 minutes, that never has happened to what I have witnessed.

Here's where it gets weird, the past two nights, the sky has been completely dark, as in no stars and no moon whatsoever. My parents live very close to an airport, so when a plane fly's over, it's close enough to see the writing on the plane, two nights ago, we could hear the planes, but saw nothing.

This green spheric light is the only thing we have seen in the night from the sky. Please get back to me as soon as possible.

Additional Information:

I completely forgot about that important bit of information, as I got too excited that there was someone with a similar experience on the same night. It was last night (12-15-12) at approx 1:00 a.m. CT. So, technically it was the 16th already, but it was last night.

Orange Ball Of Light Floating Over The State Of Maine

Now I have seen the same thing tonight in Maine. An orange ball of light  floating across the sky.

It was heading south. I could tell it was not a plane. It was low enough that I could see that it was a bright orange ball of light.

I was in the car and tried to get a video of it, but I couldn't get my camera working fast enough.

Orange Light Falling From The Sky Over The State Of New York

Time:  Approx: 12:00 a.m.

 

Hey, I was just doing a Google search on "orange light falling from the sky" and happened across your page, three nights ago (3/22/2012) I saw what I first thought was a meteor like object falling from the sky.

 

The object looked much larger than any other stars in the sky and had an orange color, I witnessed it fall from the sky for about 10 seconds before it vanished into nothing. I have no clue what I saw, but have been very curious since that day.

 

I just wished I could have recorded it. The time in which this took place was about 12:00 a.m. New York time. Sincerely.

Dark Colored Triangular UFO Spotted Over The State Of Illinois

 

Date:  March 13, 2012

Time:  Approx: 10:15 p.m.

 

I seen this exact same ship in the state of Illinois on the night of March 13th, 2012 around 10:15 p.m. or so. My story is almost exactly the same! I too was outside star gazing when it came into view above me.

 

It took me a second to realize what exactly it was that I was seeing at first, but the first thing I noticed was the corners that looked like half spheres that were a muted color very dim.

 

The ship itself was a dark purple or brown color, and it was dead silent about 1000-5000 feet above me. I was shocked at what I saw, very cool and scary at the same time.

 

I'm glad to see I am not the only one who saw this I've been Googling it ever since it happened.
