I am in Maryland and me and a couple of friends were outside shortly after midnight when we saw 3 red balls of light and then 2 more and then about 8 all together. Hovering in the sky.
Then it looked like a ball of fire fall toward the ground. It was very freaky. None of us have ever seen anything like this before. I was wondering if anyone else in Maryland might have seen it also.

Yes I did see something and sent the info to Brian. I don't know where in Md. You are located but we are in Darlington. The very bright non blinking red lights looked like giant LED lights in the sky. I assume it was some sort of aircraft from APG but have never seen anything like this before. No sound for as close as they were and the lightts didn't blink. Solid bright bright red no matter what direction it was going. Awesome sight to say the least...
