Object Streaked Through The Sky And Broke Up Into Embers Seen From New York State

I saw some similar posts on your site. Me my wife and her friend were traveling southbound on New Yorks thruway on January 5, around 6:30 p.m. near exit 18 or 19.

We saw what looked like a huge meteor or shooting star coming toward earth at angle. 

Streaked with tail and then broke up into embers like a firework. My second thought is that it was an aircraft crashing, but it was moving really fast.  

Please post this. I'm looking on Internet about news relating to this. My theory is military testing of rockets or something.

White/Silver Colored Ball Of Light With Trail Broke Up Over Tullytown Pennsylvania

Hi Brian, I saw your site on line this morning and had to write. I was looking for anyone else who may have seen this incredible light in the sky that I witnessed last night.

It was about 6:45 p.m. 1/5/2013 when I was outside in Tullytown, Pennsylvania while talking to my son outside and all of a sudden I noticed this extremely bright white silver color ball of light in the sky.

At first I thought it was the headlight on a plane that was really close, then I noticed the ball getting bigger and bigger then all of a sudden I saw this huge, intense bright white silver streak come out from behind it as it sped up, and I yelled thinking it was a plane on fire crashing, going down and would crash. 

Next thing I saw was the ball explode.  I saw it break apart as though it exploded.
 
I have never seen anything like this. This light was as bright as white and silver can get.

This was unlike any other shooting star I have ever seen. 

Have you heard or know what this was. It was so scary and intense and I am shocked to see that I can't find anything about this online. Please let me know!

Object Observed Traveling Low And Broke Up Over The Bronx New York

At about the same time I saw what appeared to be a shooting star traveling fro east to west over the Bronx.

It seemed to be at a very low altitude and broke up. I was in the Throggs Neck section of The Bronx.

Large Object Broke Into 4 Separate Pieces Then Hovered Seen From West Chester Ohio

 

Date:  July 15, 2012

Time:  Between 9:45 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.

 

My girlfriend, myself and 2 friends also witnessed these lights. Somewhere between 9:45 and 10:00 at night. We were in the West Chester area and saw these lights to the north, northeast.

 

When I initially saw it I thought it was a plane on fire until it broke into 4 separate pieces and stopped descending as the 4 smaller lights starting moving around each other. Sometimes disappearing then reappearing.

 

This continued for several minutes until we lost sight of them over the roof tops.

Huge Fireball Object Broke Into Four Balls Of Light Seen From Monroe Ohio

Time:  Evening.

 

Me and 3 of my friends I believe witnessed the same event as the "4 glowing lights separate in the sky over Springboro, Ohio"

 

I'm going keep it short, if you want to know more get back to me. We want more conformation that this really happened, so we would really appreciate some feedback.

 

We saw a huge fireball heading towards earth. Like it was crashing. Except when it neared the earth it broke into 4 balls of light and stopped falling. 

 

The balls of light hovered and moved around a little and then disappeared and or flew away. Was difficult to tell. I believe it was the exact time as the other reported event. We witnessed this event from Monroe, Ohio and the objects we saw were  in the direction or Springboro, Ohio. Almost directly north of our location.

Bright Glowing Green Light Broke Into Two Over Liberty Township Ohio

Time:  Approx: 6:30 a.m.

 

I live in Liberty Township, Ohio. I saw someone else’s post about light over Liberty Township. I had a strange sighting this morning around 6:30 a.m. 

 

I was waiting to turn onto the highway this morning, and noticed a bright glowing green light in the sky. 

 

It was too large to be a star and it was moving fast. It was relatively low and was coming in at maybe a 30 degree angle. 

 

As I watched it, it split into two glowing orbs. They continued on the same path for a second and then it was like the light was turned off. 

 

It wasn't like they burned out, because they didn't fade into nothing. It was more like turning of the light switch. 

 

Just wondering if anyone else saw this.

Ball Of Flames With Tail Broke Into Two Over Columbus North Carolina

Object Broke Up Into 4 Pieces Around Waynesville Ohio

Date: July 16, 2010

Time: Approx: 9:30 p.m.

Location of Sighting: Waynesville, Ohio area.
Number of witnesses: 2
Number of Objects: 4
Shape of Objects: Diamond.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: We were driving home from Kings Island, heading north on 73. We saw what looked like a comet (had a tail) heading straight down toward earth. Then 4 pieces broke off of it and were moving slowly toward earth. Zig zagging across each other, one light went out which left three then it came back on. We thought maybe it was sky divers at night, but seemed really high up for that. We also did not see lights from an airplane. I don't know what it was, but it was the strangest thing I have ever seen in the night sky.
