4 To 6 Glowing Orange Light In The Sky Over Rockford Illinois

Time:  Evening.

Hi, my name is (name removed) I live in Rockford, Illinois just outside of Chicago.

My children were yelling aliens are coming, of course being like minded level headed people we assumed they were just misbehaving, but they were yelling and insistent. So I went outside to have a smoke and look around to my surprise. They were not kidding

When I looked up. I seen 4 to 6, glowing orange globes almost. They were staying solid, but also fading in and out randomly. There were traveling slowly.

They went a immense distances quickly. Make 90 to 190 degree turns when they wanted to. Sometimes in a line, sometimes in a formation and sometimes randomly

At one point the globes disappeared then came back. They were just unexplainable. I think we seen the same. We've looked online quite a few people in our general area got cell phone footage.

This was in summer 2014 when we seen them. When did you. Did you ever find out what's they were?

I don't think about it much, but whenever I look up in the sky, I'm wondering if I'm going to see them again.

Just wondered if you found out any explanation. If you could respond yes or no either way, I appreciate it Thanks.

UFOs Moving In Different Patterns And Jet Aircraft Over Oakford Illinois (Audio Interview)

Time: Evening

Message: Hello my name is (name removed). I live in a small town called Oakford in Illinois. I was wanting to share my experience with someone who wouldn't think I was crazy.

In June of this year my son came downstairs and was frantic about some lights he had saw outside in the sky. He asked me to come outside and look, but I said nothing at first.

So I went back in the house and was in there about five minutes when he came back in and said, “mom you got to see this".

I first thought he saw a plane flying because there was planes flying at night, but then I went ahead and sat down in the chair and finally I saw what he was observing.

I can't explain it, but it looked like two and sometimes three stars moving in all directions at a very fast pace. Almost like they were chasing each other, but in circles and triangular shapes in the air. Then they stopped all of a sudden. These lights were almost a orange color and turned on just for two or three seconds.

They looked like head lights on a car. Then they were off again, and flying in weird patterns. I know this sounds stupid, but it is true.

About fifteen minutes after this had happened, three jets flying from the south going north come blasting through the air like they were looking for something.

Maybe the objects might have showed up on the radar in the near big town that is south of us. It was really weird and I cannot explain it.

Last night which was the 18th of June my husband said come here. He was standing on the porch. He pointed up to the sky and two objects that looked like stars, again were out there moving around in a weird pattern.

They are to fast to planes because planes cannot maneuver like that. I think it something that we always hear about. Just a reminder I live out in the country where you can see for miles of stars.

Eyewitness Observes Glowing Orange Light/Object In The Western At Central Illinois

At 7:40 p.m. to the west of my home in Central Illinois, I saw a orange glowing ball of light.
It was very slowly lowering to ground.

I really couldn't believe what I saw. I used my binoculars and it appeared to radiate red and a slight blue. This took place on 2/13/15.

3 Lights/Objects Were Fire Orange And Seen Flying Over Fox Lake Illinois

Date:  December 26, 2014
Time:  Approximately 9:00 p.m.

On Friday night,December 26, 2014 somewhere about 9:00 p.m. while sitting on my couch watching a movie with my kid, through the window I saw the first orange fire light.

The instant I saw that color I knew it was the thing me and about twenty of my friends saw about ten years ago. So I hustled to the deck door calling my kid to come and we went on the deck and watched these three 'orange fire things 'just come out of the south at a good pace.

Then they got directly west of me and turned northeast and went off upwardly. My kid gave me the phone and I pointed it at the thing, the last one and got a terrible video.

(It was dark and I'm outside in my underwear) anyway, it was really calm and these things were moving a a good pace.

It was silent, just absolutely silent and not light, but for sure orange fire and just so hard to tell the distance to them.

I just have no idea what they were, I was just thinking how can I not hear this,what's moving it? It was so clear, so clearly fire, but silent.

I'm sending the video but it's really wobbly.

Green Colored Light/Object Possible Landing In Nokomis Illinois

Date:  December 25, 2014
Time:  Approx: 9:30 p.m.

Let me be clear on this, I don’t know what it was, but it terrified me and my girlfriend and I drove very quickly after that.

It was probably around 9:30 last night, Christmas day. I was driving back home with my girlfriend and puppy from my parents at Nokomis, IL.

We were on what everyone calls the Taylorville blacktop. Everything was fine, we were just talking when I pointed up because I saw a dash of green light and my girlfriend saw it as well, as she was already looking in the same direction.

The key point and reason for this email is this light was low and was moving at a diagonal plane towards the ground.  This light immediately disappeared after I pointed, however my girlfriend said she saw it land behind the trees.

I didn't, but my eyesight isn't the best. I heard no crash and wanted to go back even as scared as I was, but she begged me not to and urged me to drive very quickly.

We were very freaked out for the rest of the night and still am a bit. I'm not sure what it was, but I've never witnessed anything like that.

4 Large Bright Lights Chasing One Another Over Chicago Illinois

Time:  Evening.

Chicago, Illinois. Two nights ago, my husband and I saw the same thing. Four large bright lights chasing each other in a perfect circle, then meeting in the middle only to go back into forming a circle and chasing each other around the circle again.

This went on for over an hour. We sure would like to know what type of phenomenon this could have been. It's very interesting to see that so many have experienced the same phenomenon.

Vertical Streak Of Bright Glowing Orange Light Seen In The Sky From Chicago Illinois

Just same the same exact vertical streak of bright orange light in the western sky, looking from Chicago. It was like someone slit the sky with a knife and the wound was glowing bright orange.

It did not move or fade in and out until it just faded away for good after about 10 minuets after we first saw it. The date was Saturday September 20, 2014.

Balls Of Red Light Filmed Over Algonquin Illinois (Pictures)

Date:  September 13, 2014
Time:  8:45 p.m.

September 13, 2014 I saw 2 balls of red lights in Algonquin, Illinois at 8:45 p.m. As well as maybe 2 or 3 other dots of light farther up in the sky behind and above the red orbs that poke closer and farther and disappear.

I have 6 pictures and two videos.

One picture when zoomed in resembles a triangular shape and shows two distinct and separate red lights on two sides of the triangular shaped object.

They looked to be moving slow at first, almost like the lanterns people send into the sky, but one moved quicker and then slowed and then they both descended up and disappeared.

In one video you can see two balls of light with 2 or 3 other star looking lights, but they get closer and farther unlike any star I've see. Two pictures also show tails of lights as if they were moving at an unbelievable rate of speed.

Three Fast Moving Orange Colored Objects Seen In The Sky Over Sublette Illinois

Date:  August 8, 2014
Time:  Approx: 11:00 p.m.

My sister and I just saw three of these. We are camping in Sublette, Illinois. It was around 11:00 p.m. and we were sitting out on the deck. At first I thought it was one of those Chinese lanterns, but it was going way too fast for that.

I'm totally sober and have never seen anything like this in my life. It flew almost directly overhead. Maybe it's just a coincidence, but I was having problems with my lights in my camper all day. After these things flew overhead, all electrical problems were gone.

I think that's a little creepy and will hold onto the coincidence angle. I think it will be a full moon in a day or two. They were perfectly round. They weren't flying too high up either. It was not high like a plane and high enough to confuse the crap out of us though.

No one believes us of course. I work in the legal field and am a very together drug free individual. I don't believe in the supernatural, however, I have no idea what I saw tonight. I believe I saw it though and I'm really glad my sister was there too because we both jumped up out of our seats watching them asking each other, "omg, what is that?"

There are trees so we weren't able to visually follow them too far, it was all over in about five seconds.  Any clue on what we saw?

Red Fireballs Seen In The Sky Over West Town Chicago Illinois (Video Footage)

 Date:  July 20, 2014
Time:  Approx: 1:30 a.m.

I am currently sitting on my rooftop patio it's about 1:30 a.m. in the West Town neighborhood of Chicago IL. and I notice a little red fireball in distance. As it slowly approaches me, it is at quite a low elevation at first, I thought it was a drone and someone was just playing around. However, the object was not a drone and then I started to record it's movement and the object ended up increasing it's elevation and the red light sort of disappeared.

Furthermore, I look out into the distance and I see another trailing red fireball approaching me again and again I recorded the object and it did the same thing as the first one. Therefore, I started looking in all directions into the sky.

Then I noticed another red fireball far out into the distance coming from the east passing downtown Chicago, however the object was to far away to capture on my iPhone. The first two fireballs I witnessed coming from the south. Here is video of the first two little fireballs.

Yellow Lights Seen Flying In The Sky Above South Chicago Heights Illinois

Today (2-3-2013) about 8:00 p.m. Lights flying west to east. Over Sauk Trail road.

Two lights I saw was in my back yard while parking my car and when I looked up, I was looking south.

Went from back yard to the front. As I was walking towards the front, I was only able to see one light. The lights were a yellow color. Nothing was blinking on the thing?

Just flying steady east.

Red/Orange Kite Shaped Object Or Lights Seen In The Sky Over Quincy Illinois (Graphic)

Time:  Evening.

Brian, I just witnessed something I cannot explain. I was walking out to my relative's vehicle, to help her unload as she's come to stay with us for two weeks and as I looked up towards Orion's belt, basically, I enjoy just looking at the stars and had noticed how bright they were tonight and as I looked upwards, I noticed an object that appeared to be 'floating' through the night sky. 

The best way I can describe it is as reddish in nature, in the shape of a kite. I watched it for a good two minutes, awaiting the distinctive flashing of signal lights indicating aircraft and as such never once in the entirety of my viewing did anything pulse/flash as I would have expected.

I immediately went inside to get my wife, but by the time she got done laughing at me, and made her way outside, the object was nearly out-of-view. 

Allow me to firstly say that I am a huge skeptic when it comes to UFOs and such.

This just took me by surprise, and so, I decided to Google search the terms, "red kite shaped lights in the sky" and came upon your posting.

I jotted a quick (and ugly) sketch of what I saw in MS Paint, and will attach it for you to see if it's comparable. 

My afterthoughts tend to run towards drone, or weather balloon, but at this point, I'm open to anything. 

Maybe we can get this figured out together.

Metallic UFO With Hump On Top Hovered Above The Lake At Lake Michigan Highland Park Illinois

Date:  1966-67
Time:  Around dusk.

In 1966-67 my brother and I saw a UFO on Lake Michigan in Highland Park, Illinois. We were at the beach riding our bicycles and it was getting dark when I saw it about 200 yards off the beach.

It was metallic in color and had a hump on top and was hovering just above the water.

It looked like it had some lights underneath. I often wondered if it needed water or something.

As we were watching it, a policeman drove up and told us it was time to close the beach. He did not notice the ship until we pointed it out to him, and he was shocked to see it too.

He called his dispatcher and they called the Glenview Naval Base to track it on radar. It seemed as soon as he called the craft started moving up very slow and I remember it didn’t make any noise as it reached a certain height.

It took off like a bullet and just accelerated out of sight. I was only 12 years old and my brother was 15. They lost it on the tracking at Glenview Naval Base the policeman told us.

It looked like it could fit about 8 people in it. I never contacted the policeman and didn’t know his name to this day. We didn’t tell anybody for a long time, but we remember it.

It kind of changed my life. My parents were strict Catholics and I wasn’t going to tell them. They would say sure, what are you nuts, but I know from records of the state of Michigan at that time there were alot of reports all along Lake Michigan.

5 To 6 Orange Objects Flew Over Naperville Illinois

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was heading home from my boyfriend's house, and I as I was driving, I noticed five to six glowing objects following me as I was heading home.

I thought it was a reflection of some kind, but it was not. When I finished parking my car, I got a closer look to see that it looked like orbs of some sort. I got a few snapshots that I think no one would understand.

I saw the same flash. I was heading into Carbondale and it happened at roughly 11:55 p.m., because I remember looking at my dash clock and thinking it was just before midnight.

Witness Films Lights In The Sky Over South Elgin Illinois (Video Footage)

On December 25 2010  South Elgin,Ill around 5:30 a.m. in the mourning I happen to capture an image in the sky where I plow snow.

My skid steer at that time had ruptured a hose, so I was in the yard where we keep our machine.

I then heard the sound of jet over head which made me look up in the sky and that's when I seen this object hovering in the air with these lights.

Orange Type Of Fireball In The Sky Over Springfield Illinois

Time:  Approx: 10:45 p.m.

Hi, I am writing in response to the multiple sightings of orange/reddish multiple orbs that were sighted from coast to coast last night December 31, 2012..

I am in Springfield, Illinois and was grabbing a camera out of my truck last night at approximately 10:45 p.m.

For some reason looked out to the sky and caught a glimpse of almost orange type fireball like orb. Never seen anything like them before. It hovered and seemed to float, but also increased speeds at times.

Then vanished. I grabbed my wife and she too was able to witness this event. We saw two, too bright for planes, choppers etc. They didn’t possess any beacons, and they were too prominent in their color/ brightness.

This was really crazy for us because temps were 20 degrees or so, and visibility was poor due to snow received. Whatever they were, they tuck out like sore thumbs in an overcast sky for about 2 minutes for us.

After hearing the other accounts. Glad to hear my mind is not playing tricks on me. We actually checked on web before New Years (cst) maybe around 11:00 p.m. or so, but no mentions or sightings as of yet.

Glad we checked back. Maybe were all not crazy after all. Just glad to witness the phenomenon!

Objects Falling From The Sky Over Chicago Illinois

Date:  February 2012 ?
Time:  Evening.

I saw your blog about the green light. I was at a park with my friends earlier this year. Maybe February and I was using Google sky map on my phone. We noticed a star next to Jupiter that didn't register on the app.
After 20 seconds it started moving. It was very slow at first, but when I started recording with my phone it came much closer, very fast, starting flashing red and white very brightly then bolted away into the black sky within seconds.

Mind you I live in Chicago which is very lit up. Literally just five minutes ago I was looking east towards lake Michigan while driving and saw a straight line of black smoke, and it appeared an object was falling.

It went lower and lower then the object and trail disappeared. No sound or light. Just fell and disappeared  creepy. Have you had any other sightings?

The Sky Flashed Bright Green Over Schaumburg Illinois

Time:  Approx: 11:00 p.m.

I live in Schaumburg, Illinois. On Christmas evening at approximately 11:00 p.m., I was walking my dog and the entire sky in front of me flashed a bright green.

It lasted for only a few seconds. Also, few of my neighbors were outside as well and saw the flash.
