Full Description of event/sighting: To whom it may concern, I have had three UFO sightings in my life, all of them being daylight sightings. One when I was around eight years old, another when I was around 35 years old, but the one that I will describe is by far the very best. At the age of 26, I am now 50 years old.

It's been a long time since I made this sighting, but have visited the site approximately every other year to keep it fresh in my memory. The sighting occurred in the summer (July?) of 1982, in Dayton, Ohio within an approximate radius of four miles from Wright Patterson AFB.

I had just pulled up to a local watering hole after work (Filthy McNasty's was the name of the establishment, believe it or not) with my best friend who I worked/carpooled with. I am a tool design engineer and he is a tool and die maker. From our work experience, we both are very well trained in regards to knowing the size of things big and small.

Filthy’s is located approximately 300 yards from the great Miami River and about 100 yards from Rip Rap Road which parallels the river and lies between itself and the river. It basically sits in the middle of an abandoned field, surrounded by flat farm fields and woods.

The time was approximately 6:00 p.m., the weather was good, with a clear blue sky, with little or no wind. A typical, hot, humid, stagnant, miserable summer day in Ohio. (Can you tell how much I like the weather in Ohio)?

As I was saying, we had just pulled up in the parking lot with the car facing west. We got out and started walking north for about 100 feet to the entrance, when something (a movement/reflection?) to our left (south) caught both of out eyes at the same time.

At a distance of 100 yards (I have measured this) and at approximate height of 200 feet (we had trees in the foreground very close to the road that I have measured the height of, by comparing the objects height to the height of the trees which I feel confident of the height estimate) was a dull gray metallic round object. It almost looked like something out of a 1950's bad Sci-Fi movie.

Two pie pans stacked facing each other with a streamlined "dome" on the top side only. The object was directly over the road and following it's course north at a speed of approximately 35 miles an hour. I have also measured this with myself standing in the exact spot and my friend driving the car on the road (and vice versa) at various speeds. We both picked the speed of 35 MPH.

The object was approximately 35 to 40 feet in diameter, I was a draftsman at the time, and had several size/angles of ellipse templates at work. So the following morning we stood at a distance of three feet from a wall which I had taped all of these templates to.

With the object of this being to pick out what we thought the object looked like. Not only the size, but the projected angle (share/profile). We both did this by ourselves, without knowing what size or shape the other had picked.

To my surprise we both picked the same shape, and more to my surprise, we were within approximately 10% of picking the same size. By using a little trigonometry and knowing a few measurements I calculated the size. So unless I am fundamentally wrong with how I did my calculations, I am very confident of the size that I estimate.

We also parked a Ford F-100 pickup out on the road and both of us stood in the "spot" and compared the size of the truck on the ground with the size of the object in the air. We both agreed that the object looked between two and three times the length of the truck, and so knowing the length of the truck, it fit really well with my calculations.

After we first spotted the object, it continued going north, at the same speed, following the path of the road. There were no erratic moments, no change in altitude, or any increase/decrease in speed. We both watched it for approximately 3 to 4 minutes until it was lost to sight in the haze a little above the horizon. After the object was lost to sight we went inside and discussed what we saw over a few cold beers.

What strikes me as odd, is that we didn't talk that much about it that night or after that. Maybe we were/are still dumbfounded by what we saw. This is not an exaggeration, if I saw a pickup truck at that height and distance, I wouldn't be able to tell you it's license plate number, but I damn sure could tell you what color, make and model it was.

There is one other thing that we both thought was very strange. There is a beach volleyball court in front of Filthy's and know more than 75 yards from the road. I would guess that there were between 15 and 20 people playing at the time. The net runs north and south, so half the people were facing east and the other half were facing west, and would have had an even closer view of the object than we did. I can see the half facing east missing it all together, but Ill be damned if I can figure out why no one player facing west spotted it.

We were both watching them for some reaction but there was not so much as a word said. We both were so dumbstruck that we just stood there with our jaws hanging on the ground and didn't raise the alarm to anyone. In fact we didn't say anything at all to each other the whole time except at the very beginning when I said, "What the hell is that !

To the best of my knowledge, all info contained in this statement is accurate and true. I know a fair amount about UFOs and the quality of the sighting/people.

So I have to tell you, this was a sweet one. No mysterious lights at night, and some moron wearing an Indian headdress claiming that he was whisked away to Venus (Maybe you've seen the film clips of this guy).

You have a multiple witness sighting, well trained, credible professionals.

You have a distance of no more than 125 yards away, with perfect viewing conditions.

I wouldn't have even reported this, except for the fact that it's been nagging at me for almost 25 years now. Maybe it will help me get rid of some of the nag. Plus, I like reading about sightings, so maybe someone will find this interesting and enjoyable. Thanks for listening.

Battle Ready Military Helicopters Chase Black Triangle UFO In The Sky Over Little Rock Arkansas (Written Report/Graphic/Audio Interview)

I posted this report not all that long ago, but what I did not post was the audio interview, so here is the report and interview. I have to say, this fellow provided a amazing description of the craft and pursuing military helicopters.

Date: 2001

Essentially, two vehicles came swooping in toward the nearby landing-strip of the Little Rock Airport, just after twilight. About 6 minutes earlier I had noticed another plane leaving the same airspace as it took off S-W towards Dallas, at first making this appear to be a sensible, well choreographed normal flight-pattern.

Both were descending at an unacceptably high rate of speed, not unlike Flt.175, as it approached the WTC South Tower, just a few months prior. I instantly slowed from my usual 58mph freeway speed, to about 48mph, just slow enough to capture the active motion against a relatively stable foreground. It suddenly dawned on me that these aircraft were in hot pursuit!

Having a high degree of spatial recognition, I could see that I was approximating a situation where I might be entering a point of impact, so I slowed my vehicle as much as I could, practically do without serious risk to other traffic. Even 39mph suddenly felt like a suicide rate, so I dropped it down to second and got into the creeper-lane. That's when it all became clear that I was observing a real UFO.


The vehicles leveled-off at an altitude of just about 1,000 feet. and continued at me for about 1 mile. Their additional descent went unnoticed until the first craft slowed to a nearly parked position. Behind him, was a full battle-ready Huey helicopter which also came to a sudden halt, much as though he was scared of getting more than an inch closer.

Very gently, the Black Triangle proceeded to move forward and I rolled to a position just beyond it's wingspan. At that point, it was about 1 1/2 blocks to my Left, so I could see the entire thing through my driver's side window, but as it moved, it was to leave the entire bird visible through, and virtually filling my Jeep's entire windshield.

I looked intensely at every portion of that machine, knowing it could not be faithfully photographed at night. Lucky for me all of it's lights were operational and I believe that I observed all of the fundamental attributes of their behavior in this 'idle' mode. My feeling was both one of terror and relief. My biggest fear was that the helicopter would fire upon it and I would be caught in the fireball below!

To my hard left, another troop-type helicopter appeared. I'll discuss that one later.

I knew that I needed a comparable reference to describe the UFO's actual scale which still eludes me somewhat. Altitudes of 900' would seem more reasonable than say, 500 feet., but that was probably it's very lowest hovering height. In order to lock my eyes on the thing throughout the entire progression, I eventually sat in the window with my head above the car itself.

A Number Of Eyewitnesses Watch UFO Make Jumps In The Sky Over Clarion Clarion County Pennsylvania (Nice Graphic)

Time:  Evening.

Canadian UFO Investigator Brian Vike’s Note: I posted this sighting report on February 27, 2015 just after I received it. I am re-posting the report here as I received a nice graphic the witness made to show what the UFO appeared to look like.

My boyfriend and I were driving home from Clarion (the "town") in Clarion county when we spotted a weird object in the sky on our way towards Knox.

It looked like a super bright ball of light with a bar on each side of more white lights. We were both starting at it through the front windshield debating what we were seeing when it suddenly jumped (vanished in clouds and in the blink of an eye was way further away).

Both of us looked at each other and asked, "did/do you see that?" Of course the usual talk followed after we agreed we both were seeing it and were glad we were both seeing it.

We watched it hover and slowly cruise until planes/jets showed up and were approaching it from all around.

The object jumped way ahead of them and they all have chase. We chased it from the ground trying to figure out what we were seeing.

The object jumped at least 3 more times while we were watching and we actually managed to watch it the whole way to my parent's home until it shot of into the sky.

When we got to my parent's, my mom, brother and sister admired they saw it also (the house has a huge bay window they could see it out of plus they were outside a few times doing outside chores such as feeding horses).

We have actually seen the object at least 4 more times since then and it'd only been about a week or 2 since we seen it the first time.

We actually saw it again tonight. It looked like it for down through the trees by the Allegheny river tonight. Kind of scary, but awe inspiring while also raising the curiosity for what we are seeing.

A String Of 10 Lights/UFOs Hovering In The Sky Over Jackson Georgia (Nice Graphic)

Full Description of event/sighting: A friend and I were traveling in my car and came to a stop sign at a "T" intersection in Jackson, Georgia USA.

It was very dark as we were out in the country and there were no street lights within miles. When we stopped at the intersection, both of us looking through the front windshield noticed a string of large, bright round lights hovering just above a stand of pine trees that were approximately 70' in height and about 50 feet away.

We counted 10 lights in all and they were spaced approximately 20 feet or so apart. Just below each of the larger lights was a smaller light that was either strobing, or flashing.

We couldn't see any type of craft(s), so didn't know if the lights were attached to one object, or whether they were separate objects. Our first inclination was that these were helicopters.

I rolled down my window to see if I could hear anything, but there was no noise coming from whatever the lights may have been attached to. My friend then got out of the car to see if he could identify what they were.

He then jumped backed in the car, spooked, and asked me to "get us the hell out of here!" So I took a right hand turn and we sped away.

After going a few miles down the road our curiosity had gotten the best of us and we decided to turn around to go back to see if the lights were still there.

Upon returning to the intersection where we saw the lights we noticed they were still right where they were when we had left a few minutes prior, in the same position.

We stopped for a few seconds to look at them again and suddenly all 10 lights rotated to face us in the car. At this point both of us were freaking out and I said: "Whatever it is, it must be one ship with 10 lights". Then, all of the sudden, the lights took off from a standstill at such a speed that within literally 1 second they were past the horizon.

As the lights sped off they separated, and were probably miles apart by the time they were dots on the horizon.

Later that evening, after telling all of our friends and family about what we had seen, we called the radio station to see if any others had called in about the lights.

The person at the station said that no one else had reported seeing anything and that what we had seen was probably weather balloons. Since when do weather balloons travel at such speeds?

Additional Information:

Brian, I use Photoshop all the time so put together an image that looked almost exactly like what we saw. The lights were lined up above the trees just like this for about 10 minutes or so before they suddenly sped away at a speed difficult to comprehend.

UFO Has Diamond Shaped Metallic Body And Edges Are Glowing Orange/Red Seen Between Oakland And Berkeley California (Graphic And Map)

Dear Brian, I've not the type of person to be into UFOs. Most of my life I've always held the opinion that the laws of physics would make traveling the vast distances of space to other planets in craft impractical. Then I thought *if* a civilization survives to the level of technology required to do such an incredible feat they would not bother coming here.

Since the initial night I have worked really hard to try and recreate in 3D what my family and myself saw that evening.

The pictures I'm attaching represent my best attempt and incidentally my first use of the 3D program Blender.  Please understand the rendering could be A lot better.

Here's the expanded version of my story.

Date May 6, 2012.
Time 8:50 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Pacific Time

"We went for a nice sunset hike at the reservoir. We decided to go out to dinner in Berkeley. I took a slightly different way to get to Highway 24 than normal, it was a bit faster and I never went that way before, I was like on automatic pilot.

This new shortcut saved about 4 minutes. We went through the Caldecott tunnel and everything was just like any of the countless times before we've had a Sunday outing.

Immediately on the other side of the tunnel we all see two giant super bright orange/red orbs in the sky in front of us, coming in our direction.

My 19 year old son instantly knows these are not helicopters and he alerts me to that. I look at them and I'm saying, what the heck !

My wife is thinking those are very weird flying lights. My thoughts are "ok, these cannot be planes because they are moving too slow and planes just don't fly like this, it must be a helicopter.

I'll look for aviation lights, because by law there must be aviation lights. No,  what the heck this thing is completely glowing orange/red and it's pretty big.

Meanwhile my wife is started to get upset with me because my driving is now erratic as I'm being completely transfixed by what I'm trying to understand.

I'm searching my memory banks, balloon, no, blimp, definitely not. Chinese lantern, no these things are big." Then they are right overhead and I'm leaning over the steering wheel looking up and swerving on the road and my wife is now seriously freaked out and yelling at me.

Then I see the body of first one. The edges are what's glowing orange/red  it has a diamond shaped metallic body and it looks big.

So does the other one, there are two of these. As the first one passes and I make the mental connection that this is some type unidentified of craft, my entire body gets goose pimples and I get them even now writing this.

I'm saying holy crap, holy crap this is real, that is a real UFO. My wife yells get on the road, look out, now it's behind us and I can't afford to look backwards to see it or else we are definitely going to crash. I yell to my son to look at it and remember everything he sees."

UFO Has Ring Of Fog/Cloud Around It Seen From Western Edge Of Jackson Michigan (Pictures/Graphic)

Full Description of event/sighting: I was leaving the parking lot of my apartment complex. I had planned on turning onto the street and heading east, but I always look down the street to the west first to make sure there is no traffic coming.

The view I have at this point is one long street with trees on either side of it heading in the direction of the Jackson County airport (Reynolds Field).

A half-dozen or more streets cross this street, so the street has a lot of stop signs as you travel it toward the airport.

However, it doesn't lead directly to the airport, it dead-ends and you need to go south, then west to reach the airport.

Looking down this street, I noticed something in the sky between the line of trees on either side of the street and just past the dead-end point of the road. It was a bright, white object three times the size and brightness of Venus and it had a misty white, thick ring of fog or cloud around it.

The sky was clear except for this ring around the object. Had the object been located anywhere other than what it was in that direction I wouldn't have seen it, there is a very narrow view of the sky over the airport because of all the trees down that street.

I knew this was something unusual, and having seen a strange object three days earlier on 02/04/2004, I decided to back my truck up and get my camcorder from my apartment. After doing so, I drove back to where I was a couple of minutes ago and the object was still there.

I noticed a car at the first stop sign that wasn't moving. I decided to go in that direction to try to get closer to the object so I could videotape it (in hindsight I should have immediately videotaped from where I was at!).

I drove up behind the car at the stop sign, I could tell that the driver was staring at the object and this was why he had not proceeded through the stop sign. Suddenly he noticed that I was behind him and slowly moved on, turning left.

I continued west through the stop sign in the direction of the airport and at some point I lost sight of the object.

I decided to drive another mile and a half to a bowling alley across from the airport and try to find the object in the sky again, because there is a clear view of the sky there.

When I arrived there I noticed what I thought at first to be a star. It looked too bright to be a star, though, so I began videotaping at 9:00 p.m. As I videotaped, the object seemed to dim and brighten. I thought this was strange because the sky was clear.

On the videotape, the object can be seen turning into three small, white lights and it seems to be rotating or spinning.

After a minute it dimmed and vanished, but seemed to relocate a short distance to the south. I repositioned the camcorder and continued videotaping the object near the bowling alley building. It seemed to make a slow, downward movement behind some trees and can be seen on the videotape moving behind tree branches.

When the object was completely obscured by a large pine tree, I drove after it toward the west and into the township of Parma. On the way there, I spotted it twice over some treetops as a circle with a ring around it again, then lost it when I reached Parma.

At this point I decided to go back to the city of Jackson and continue with my original plans for the evening. I saw the second object (flying triangle) at 9:50 p.m. while stopped at an ATM machine.

Then I lost it. After travelling back into the city of Jackson, I saw the triangle flying over the city at 9:50 p.m.

Colored Objects And Triangular UFOs In The Sky Above Ocala Florida (Excellent Graphic)

Hello, I had seen some remarkable objects in the sky last night and I found your site while trying to research what I saw. Here's what happened.

I live in Ocala, Florida which is about an hour and a half from Orlando. I was driving home from work last night when I saw a large flashing object flashing white light brighter than anything I've ever seen before.

It was in the middle of my view, in plain sight. I had originally thought it was a cell phone tower, but it was so bright it was illuminating the sky around it.

I live in a rural town so its very dark at night and you can see the stars almost perfect. In the distance towards this object was also 2 separate red pulsating objects emitting what looked like red and green lights back and forth at each other.

As I got closer to my home, I was able to make out that the first large bright object was a triangle craft. By the time I had got home and out of my car I had counted 3 separate red UFOs and what I thought could have been two more, but were much higher, but flashing red, blue, and pulsating green (as they remained stationary but were revolving).

The triangular craft was a small distance away from the red UFOs and they acted almost as if they didn't notice each other. The triangle craft was flying in circles and very low.

Within seconds of getting out of my car the triangle craft had flown off, but the red UFOs began to ascend high into the sky, but not to the point as to where I was unable to see the pulsating lights still.

The whole thing is- there was one jet plane a good distance away from all these objects, heading towards the Orlando airport so I was able to compare the jet plane to these objects.

These were no plane, nor anything I've ever seen in my life. I attempted to take a few pictures but it was far too dark. I did however draw a diagram of what I saw. I am not the only witness to what I saw as well.

Florida is a UFO hot spot and the triangular craft seems to be seen by plenty of other people as well. I was thinking it was along the lines of military but the red UFOs I saw gave off an eerie feeling that made me believe they were something else.

Possible Triangular UFO Filmed In The Sky Above Murrieta California (Pictures/Graphic)

Full Description of event/sighting: I was sitting up late last night, or, early however you look at it, watching the NFL Network when I heard the next door neighbor's two dogs begin to bark franticly.

About 2-3 minutes after that I heard a very low soft guttural vibration that was so low it began shaking the cabinets in the kitchen.

At first I thought it was our heating unit making crazy noises, but I soon realized the sound was coming from outside. I stepped out side my front door and instantly I found the source of the sounds.

When I looked up there was a very large square, possibly triangular, depends if I was seeing it at an angle, machine/craft whatever you want to call it. It seemed to be spinning from right to left and making slow banking maneuvers.

The two pictures I have of the object seem to show it making banking maneuvers. When I realized this was something I had never seen before civilian or military I reached inside the front door and grabbed my cell phone off of the light stand and snapped off a pretty decent picture.

Of course like most UFO pictures, it is a little blurry. My cell phone is a very low resolution phone. After that I ran into my bedroom and grabbed my digital camera in hopes of getting a more detailed picture, but I was so nervous and jazzed about what I was seeing the second picture that I had time to take was not that good either.

The object, in my opinion was moving at a high rate for its apparent size, I'm not very good at guessing speeds but I would say it was traveling in the mid 100s. The object continued on its southern to northerly pattern and finally disappeared into the night.

To describe the object I would have to say it looked like a huge pizza box with lights on two of its seemingly 4 side panels that were opposite of each other.

The one thing I noticed from being in the military and the fact there are bases all over the place out here, I initially thought military primarily because the object had a dull military blue-grey color.

However this was no craft that I have ever experienced military or any other.

Additional Information:

Brian, I have attached the two pictures that I was able to take. Like I said my body was being taken over by my beating heart at the time.

As far as being on your radio show I would be happy to. I honestly believe this was some type of military aircraft seeing there are at least 3 bases in this area.

Now, I don't subscribe to the ideas of extra terrestrial life but being in the United States Marines as a Logistics Officer, I have seen almost every class of vehicles and aircraft Uncle Sam has to offer and this craft was of no known origin that I have knowledge of.

So, here are the pictures and I have also included a 3D Photoshop image of what the craft looked like from my perspective.

Take care and let me know when you are planning on doing the show. I almost forgot to tell you that I was researching that next morning to see if anyone had reported the craft.

I found nothing local but I did however find an article where a guy in Alberta, Canada sighted a very similar craft. The only glitch is that his sighting was around 1:15 a.m. and mine was at 2:15 a.m.

There is no way it could have been the exact same object so that draws me to the conclusion that A) The craft has a jump mechanism or B) There are more than one of these things. I don't know. The only thing I do know is that what I saw was amazing.

Red/Orange Kite Shaped Object Or Lights Seen In The Sky Over Quincy Illinois (Graphic)

Time:  Evening.

Brian, I just witnessed something I cannot explain. I was walking out to my relative's vehicle, to help her unload as she's come to stay with us for two weeks and as I looked up towards Orion's belt, basically, I enjoy just looking at the stars and had noticed how bright they were tonight and as I looked upwards, I noticed an object that appeared to be 'floating' through the night sky. 

The best way I can describe it is as reddish in nature, in the shape of a kite. I watched it for a good two minutes, awaiting the distinctive flashing of signal lights indicating aircraft and as such never once in the entirety of my viewing did anything pulse/flash as I would have expected.

I immediately went inside to get my wife, but by the time she got done laughing at me, and made her way outside, the object was nearly out-of-view. 

Allow me to firstly say that I am a huge skeptic when it comes to UFOs and such.

This just took me by surprise, and so, I decided to Google search the terms, "red kite shaped lights in the sky" and came upon your posting.

I jotted a quick (and ugly) sketch of what I saw in MS Paint, and will attach it for you to see if it's comparable. 

My afterthoughts tend to run towards drone, or weather balloon, but at this point, I'm open to anything. 

Maybe we can get this figured out together.

Brilliant Orange/Red Spherical Object Seen In The Sky Near Liberty Missouri (Excellent Graphic)

 

Date:  July 8, 2012

Time:  10:13 p.m.

Azimuth:78 Deg. North, direction of travel from east to west. Duration of observation 2-3 minutes.

My partner and I stepped outside to smoke a cigarette before going to bed. I noticed the super brilliant Orange/Red spherical object just over the rooftop.

 

She also witnessed this event. Orb/object was surrounded in a conical iridescence, possibly ionization from the atmosphere, which varied in shape aft of the object and decreased in shape and visibility further downrange to the west.

 

Initially the object size at first sighting overhead was the size of a "BB" held at arms length.

Approx. altitude was 30-40,000 feet, ceiling:unlimited. To slow to be meteoric. To low to be a satellite. I am ruling out aircraft military/commercial and this was not an Iridium satellite flash sighting folks.

 

Anyone else see this?

UFO Has Diamond Shaped Metallic Body And Edges Are Glowing Orange/Red Seen Between Oakland And Berkeley California (Graphic And Map)

Time:  8:50 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.

 

Dear Brian, I've not the type of person to be into UFOs. Most of my life I've always held the opinion that the laws of physics would make traveling the vast distances of space to other planets in craft impractical. Then I thought *if* a civilization survives to the level of technology required to do such an incredible feat they would not bother coming here.

Since the initial night I have worked really hard to try and recreate in 3D what my family and myself saw that evening.  The pictures I'm attaching represent my best attempt and incidentally my first use of the 3D program Blender.  Please understand the rendering could be A LOT better.

Here's the expanded version of my story.
Date May 6, 2012, time 8:50 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Pacific Time

"We went for a nice sunset hike at the reservoir. We decided to go out to dinner in Berkeley. I took a slightly different way to get to Highway 24 than normal, it was a bit faster and I never went that way before, I was like on automatic pilot. 

 

This new shortcut saved about 4 minutes. We went through the Caldecott tunnel and everything was just like any of the countless times before we've had a Sunday outing. Immediately on the other side of the tunnel we all see two giant super bright orange/red orbs in the sky in front of us, coming in our direction.

 

My 19 year old son instantly knows these are not helicopters and he alerts me to that. I look at them and I'm saying, what the heck ! My wife is thinking those are very weird flying lights. My thoughts are "ok, these cannot be planes because they are moving too slow and planes just don't fly like this, it must be a helicopter.

 

I'll look for aviation lights, because by law there must be aviation lights. No,  what the heck this thing is completely glowing orange/red and it's pretty big. Meanwhile my wife is started to get upset with me because my driving is now erratic as I'm being completely transfixed by what I'm trying to understand. 

 

I'm searching my memory banks, balloon, no, blimp, definitely not. Chinese lantern, no these things are big." Then they are right overhead and I'm leaning over the steering wheel looking up and swerving on the road and my wife is now seriously freaked out and yelling at me.

 

Then I see the body of first one. The edges are what's glowing orange/red  it has a diamond shaped metallic body and it looks big. So does the other one, there are two of these. As the first one passes and I make the mental connection that this is some type unidentified of craft, my entire body gets goose pimples and I get them even now writing this.

 

I'm saying holy crap, holy crap this is real, that is a real UFO. My wife yells get on the road, look out, now it's behind us and I can't afford to look backwards to see it or else we are definitely going to crash. I yell to my son to look at it and remember everything he sees."

Spinning White Object Spotted Over Altadena California (Graphic)

Time:  Approx: 10:30 a.m.

Came across your website and decided to write to you about my sighting on Saturday November 29, 2011 around 10:30 a.m.

I live on Grandeur Ave of Altadena Drive. I was talking to my neighbor in his yard and noticed a white object which I spotted at a relatively low altitude in a northwesterly direction.

We tracked it for about a minute as it drifted slowly west and appeared to be rotating at a slow speed.

My neighbor commented to his dad (who's visiting from France) that it was most likely a weather balloon launched by JPL. It appeared white, but had noticeable protrusion from it’s side which ended in a darker shape.

The object appeared to be spinning which was made noticeable by its irregular shape. The sky was perfectly clear and blue and void of any wind. The object was silent and moved slowly and predictably.

I decided to run into my house to grab the camera and took all but 30 seconds to come out again, but the object had vanished. I scanned the sky without relocating the object again.

It seemed strange that such a slow moving object that was large enough to be spotted would so quickly disappear.

Sparks Seen Falling From UFO Approximately 7 Miles South Of Covington Virginia (Graphic)

Date: 1985 or 1986. (?)

Time: Approx: 3:20 p.m.

Hello, I was in high school and just walked off the bus at the end of the day. The time was approximately 3:20pm I was walking the dirt path to my parents house from the bus stop. I walked 1/4 way home then I realized there was something in the air above the trees.

I stopped and stood by fence until I couldn't see it anymore. The shape was perfectly round, red like fire, but not illuminated or bright like the sun. I stared at it as it was very slowly falling with no noise while sparks and embers seemed to be emitting from the outer round shell and falling to the ground.

It appeared damaged as it was falling. What surprised me the most was how long it seemed to take for it to fall. I extended my arm and covered the disk with my thumb and when I seen it the first time, it looked like around 25 - 35 feet above treetops, and around 30 minutes later, it finally was unseen as it disappeared below treetops from my vision.

It was close enough to me to see the color and fire from the disk itself. The best way to show a picture is to draw it, but I remember what happened like yesterday.

I know the drawing is basic, but like I said, I just want to know if anyone else posted or reported an image or object of the same nature, anywhere else.

The location of this sighting is approximately 7 miles south of Covington, VA. I believe it was 1985 or 86.

Orange Yellow Object Breaks Up Into 3 Pieces Near Dayton Ohio (Graphic)

Approx: 10:00 p.m.

Good Afternoon. I also reported this sighting to nuforc.org the night of the occurrence. I called their hot line and filled out a report. Since then, I have been looking on the internet to see if their are any other witnesses to this sighting.

I have found a few, including a couple on your site that seem to be similar to what I witnessed. My husband and I do not live in the Dayton area, but were visiting family at the time of the sighting. We would really like to know what we saw. The following is the report I sent the night of the incident:

At around 10:00pm on July 17, 2010 in the area of Dayton, Ohio, my husband and I were traveling I-75 South and had just exited the Centerville-Miamisburg exit and turned left. I was in the passenger’s seat and my husband was driving. I happened to look out my window to the right and in the distance, coming towards the earth diagonally, I saw what I thought to be a large, slow moving meteor coming towards the earth.

It was orange-yellowish in color and had a long tail. As it was approaching, it split off into 3 different balls of light that seemed to be about the sizes of very large stars and they continued to have the same color.

They hovered in different parts of the sky and hovered up then down (not simultaneously) and then finally just down until we could not longer see them because of the obstruction of view and the fact that we were driving in the opposite direction. * End of original report*

I would also like to add that the lights reminded me of streetlight lamps in their color only a bit darker. I thought of adding that to the original report, but did not. Also, describing their size as very large stars may not be an accurate description. I was just trying to compare them to something else in the sky.

It was hard to determine their exact shape, but they were not exactly balls, more like sideways ovals, but a little more flat than round on the sides ( very huge streetlight lamps). I have attached a drawing I did on paint of what I saw. It's not very good at all; it will hopefully just give an idea of what I saw and maybe help anyone else who saw the same thing. Thanks again.

San Rafael, California A Red Object Outside Witnesses Home (Graphic)

Last night (Dec. 20, 2008 about 8pm) as I was watching a video in the living room, I saw a weird red orb resting "motionless", about 1000' in the sky outside my rear deck that overlooks a creek, looking westward. It was bright and bright red in color. I thought it might be a helicopter at first, but the cloud ceiling was low and a light rain was falling. There were no other aircraft at the time, though I did see what looked like an aircraft flying over the same area about
an hour later. That plane had a white navigation headlight, like other aircraft flying at night, and it was headed in a linear north to south direction. It was moving steadily.

The red orb did not move for about 5 minutes after I spotted it then it began to move westward at a very slow rate of speed. No sound could be heard coming from it, as a helicopter most certainly would have made. I tried to videotape it but couldn't get a good shot as the sighting was through the branches of a large tree.

I rendered an artists impression of what I saw here. It's pretty close to the real thing. I'm not sure what.

Ogden, Utah A Slightly Transparent Vertical Line (Graphic)

Weather Conditions: Partially cloudy.

Description: I was outside returning to work from a break when I looked up at the moon. It looked like a full moon and was a partially cloudy night.

Not even a second after I looked at the moon, a dark, almost slightly transparent, vertical line slowly moved horizontally over the moon.

The size can be compared to a pencil and a compact disk. after it had moved over the entire moon, it disappeared into the darkness.

I've never been very entertained by the thought of UFOs. I have always thought of course it was possible but I think people lie so much about what they see and "think" are UFOs.

After seeing something I couldn't explain in the least bit... not a bright light in the sky but something so eerie, I began to look at UFO sightings to see if I find something like what I saw.

I have not yet seen anything like it. I came across this website and found this e-mail address and figured
I may as well take a chance to maybe find out information to explain my sighting or at least to help with any research on UFOs.

What I saw - It was 2:22 am one day last month. I was outside returning to work from a break when I looked up at the moon. It looked like a full moon and was a partially cloudy night.

Not even a second after I looked at the moon, a dark, almost slightly transparent, vertical line slowly moved over the moon.

The size can be compared to a pencil and a compact disk. After it had moved over the entire moon, it disappeared into the darkness.

Thank you so much for getting back to me Brian. The line object stretched vertically from top to bottom of where the moons light stretched.

I have no idea how long to say it was because that would depend on how close it was. It moved horizontally from the right side of the moon to the left.

The line object didn't give off any light. It was a very dark almost black color but looked slightly transparent. I made a diagram on 'paint' that I will attach and hopefully that will better explain it.

Gazelle, California A Bright Neon Green Ball (Graphic)

Date: August 11, 2007 Time: 1:00 a.m.

Location of Sighting: Gazelle, CA. Number of witnesses: 5 Number of objects: 1 Shape of objects: Round.

Full Description of event/sighting: While driving home down Interstate 5 from Yreka, CA, after playing in our band at the fair, my keyboard player and myself saw a very large, bright neon green ball appear and head downwards at a very fast speed and then disappear behind a mountain ridge. It was so quick, so large and traveling so fast that it was hard to judge the distance it was away and therefore the size, but just by being over the ridge it was at the very least larger than a house. It was a very bright, almost glowing neon green color with a small reddish orange halo around it. At the same time, two other band members were in another vehicle 15 miles ahead of us and when we met up a half hour later, they had seen it too. They felt it was traveling perpendicular to the earth rather than straight down and was actually down south father like Redding, CA area which would have made it enormous in size. Another band member traveling a different road home, also saw it. We all agreed with the description and have not seen or heard of any other sightings or crashes of a meteor in the area.
