5 To 6 Orange Objects Flew Over Naperville Illinois

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was heading home from my boyfriend's house, and I as I was driving, I noticed five to six glowing objects following me as I was heading home.

I thought it was a reflection of some kind, but it was not. When I finished parking my car, I got a closer look to see that it looked like orbs of some sort. I got a few snapshots that I think no one would understand.

4 Orange Light Flew Over Naperville Illinois

Time:  After 8:30 p.m.

On this past Saturday, 9/1/12, after 8:30 p.m., I was sitting on my deck with 2 other people. We all observed 4 orange lights flying past the yard.

It was dark so it was difficult to see the shape of these objects. We thought these flying objects may have been hot air balloons, but they were flying too fast. This was in Naperville Il.

My daughter just heard from a friend who spotted these flying lights near her house in Palatine, Il.

4 Orange Colored Lights In The Sky Over Naperville Illinois

Hello Brian, ran into your site while I was searching for something in the area.

It was tonight August 7th at 9:30 p.m. Central Time.  I was letting my dog out and looked up and noticed this 4 orange bulbs floating across the sky traveling West to East.  It looked like the were on fire because the orange glow wasn't a steady color.

I wish I had a picture to show you, but it seems like there are others posting about the same type of sighting.

There was no noise and no streaks following them.  After a while it seemed they faded out but could be because they were too far away.  They seemed to be following the same flight path at the same speed and direction.

I am located in Naperville, IL it is a suburb about 30 miles SW of Chicago.

White Clustered Lights/UFOs Over East Diehl Naperville Illinois

Location of Sighting: East Diehl, Naperville, IL.

Shape of Objects: Round and changing shapes.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: As I left work at Northern Illinois University, Naperville, IL last night and was going to my car, I noticed approximately 40 feet up there were white, round, clustered, lighted objects moving around, cascading around, moving back and forth, crossing over and sort of bouncing off of each other (a couple bouncing off each other at a time. I went inside and had my co-worker look at them. He saw them too.

I drove my car toward the lights and they would move as I got under them, as if trying to avoid me. They finally started moving north, over I-88. They got higher and spread out as they went north. We both agree it was very odd and we have never seen anything like this before. I called the Naperville police today and they said there were no similar reports. I called DuPage airport and reported it to them. The police suggested I call the FAA, which I did, but there office is closed until Monday.

5 Orange Lights Observed Over Naperville Illinois

Full Description of Event/Sighting: 5 orange lights descended from the sky, all in a line at cloud level. The lights were bright and steady without blinking or flickering. They were traveling north and at an equal distance form each other. They made no noise. Traffic at a very busy intersection stopped to view the phenomena.

They appeared to almost float and their trajectory was slow and steady. Two appeared to almost touch, then separated quickly, going opposite directions and then disappearing. The leader turned westward and disappeared. The other two faded and then disappeared.

Glowing Objects/Lights In V Formation Over Naperville Illinois

Time: 9:25 p.m.

We were on 75th street heading east after a movie and saw all 5 together. Almost traveling in a “V” formation – some of the glowing objects would speed up and change formation. We drove down to Naper/Plainfield and decided to turn around to see them again. They were nowhere in sight. Saw other people pulled over on 75th watching too.

Could they have been part of the moving filming in Chicago? I know they were working with skydivers over the weekend. Please let me know if you find any other details. We were a little freaked out after seeing Inception. Thanks.

7 Floating Orange Colored Objects Over Naperville Illinois

Hello, my husband and I were driving home on 75th street in Naperville, IL at about 9:30 p.m. on July 17th when we saw 6 flying/floating orange colored objects. They were round, floating gracefully in a vertical line. They were beautiful.

As we pulled over to watch this, a 7th one was flying quickly behind and caught up to the other 6. Then the lights started floating upward and started to diminish one by one, almost like a candle burning out and then were gone. There were several other cars pulled over on the side of the road to witness this strange event.

Multiple Orange Lights Over Naperville Illinois

Date: July 17, 2010

Time: Approx: 10:10 p.m.

I am visiting Naperville this weekend, Saturday 7/17 through Sunday 7/18. I reside in Skokie, Illinois. At approximately 10:00 p.m. on the night of 7/17, I went outside my son's house to roll up my car windows anticipating rain. I looked in the sky and noticed that it was a clear evening, with about 3 or 4 stars in the sky.

Then all of a sudden, I saw two orange bright orbs traveling west to east with a small amount of space between them. I ran in the house and my son and granddaughter ran out to see why I was so excited.

After approximately 60 seconds, all three of us witnessed a 2nd set of two orange bright orbs following the first two. After approximately another 30 seconds, a sole orange bright orb trailed behind, totaling 5. They were traveling west to east, but after viewing them for approximately another 60 seconds total, 4 disappeared into the skies.

It wasn't like we saw all of the orbs, then only 3/4, then only 1/2, then only the end, they just disappeared all at once. Like: "lights on, lights off." After about 30 seconds, the last disappeared. Did anyone else report this? Does anyone have an answer to what these were?

7 Red Objects/Lights Seen Over Naperville Illinois

Date: July 17, 2010

Time: Evening.

My husband and I witnessed 7 red orbs flight through the sky about an hour ago. They eventually dimmed and disappeared, we were totally floored and did a Google and the videos we found of the red lights in Phoenix in 1997 and 2008 were almost identical to what we saw tonight.

The orbs shot out in a straight line from behind a building one at time, eventually formed a box shape with one in the center. The one in the center burned out first, then the others. The other 2 orbs came after the original 5. The entire event lasted maybe 10 minutes.

Line Of Orange Lights Over Naperville Illinois

Date: July 4, 2010

Time: 10:00 p.m.

Location of Sighting: Naperville, IL
Number of witnesses: Hundreds.

Shape of Objects: Round.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Following our 4th fireworks display, a line of orange orbs were witnessed flying due north. At first 4 objects were flying equidistant in a straight line, but as they moved north the 2nd object appeared to catch up to the 1st object. From the time we first spotted them until they disappeared from view was no more than 2 minutes. They were flying below cloud level, and were completely silent.

A fifth orb followed at about 10:30pm, following the same path, at the same altitude and speed.

We are under a glide path of O'Hare, so we know and can hear aircraft landing and taking off, these were not planes. The glowing orange lights were constant, and larger than flashing plane lights. We also have a hospital helicopter landing pad in the area, and these were not helicopters. The speed and trajectory of these orbs was straight and constant. They were traveling due north, and the wind last night was easterly, which I believe rules out Chinese Lanterns or hot air balloons.

There were hundreds of folks leaving the fireworks display, and we heard many of them talking about the orbs, wondering what they could be, and taking pictures.

It's interesting to note that the sightings reported in Frederickstown, MO, and Millstadt, IL are due south of Naperville.

We note that despite thousands of sightings, there is absolutely no media coverage.

Sightings.com Reports Three Orange Lights Over Naperville Illinois

Time: Evening.

Last night four of us seen three orange lights gliding through the sky in Naperville Illinois. It was after a firework show, at first I thought it was from the fireworks, but they had ended like 3-5 min before. Any way there where three at first but one of them seemed to have disappeared the two then flew over going at the exact same speed and keeping the same distance like it was towing it. Then third one repapered and went in the same direction as the other two these where not planes, but there where planes in the area.
