Huge White Flashes Light Up The Sky Seen From Outside Of Salem Oregon (Lightning)

Tonight, 2/8/2015, 6:43 p.m. local time there have been the huge white flashes over the area.

This was going on for around an hour, covering miles.

I was going to check the local news next. This would be about 5- 10 miles W, NE of Salem Oregon.

2 Orange Lights Traveling At A High Rate Of Speed Over Salem Missouri

Time:  Evening.

I just seen 2 orange lights moving at high speed go over Salem Missouri headed roughly toward St. Louis, Missouri

I couldn't tell the shape, but they where under the clouds. They did not look like any aircraft I have seen before. Any ideas?

Several Quick Flashes Of Light Seen Over Salem Oregon

Time:  Approx: 11:00 p.m.

I saw it too. I was in Salem, Oregon with a friend we both were looking north towards Portland. It seemed to be near the ground.

It lasted 15-30 seconds with several quick flashes mostly white, but one or two of them were colored.

I thought I saw red he says green. I have tried to do research on it and can't find anything. We saw it around 11:00 p.m. If anyone has information please share.

Large Low Flying Bright White/Blue Object With Streaming Tail Seen Over Salem Connecticut

Time:  6:30 p.m.

Hi my name is (name removed), I live in Salem Connecticut and I saw this UFO fly over Saturday January 5th, 2013 at 6:30 p.m. also. I was in our living room watching TV with my daughter.

I looked out our large picture window and saw a large low flying bright white and blue blob with a tail streaming across the sky from east to west, was the most amazing thing
I’ve ever seen, my girlfriend who was in the other room thought I was crazy and over exaggerating.

I told my co workers today at work what I saw, in disbelief one of them Googled it found your website and read exactly what I explained to them. I am excited that I was not the only one to experience this, I will never forget it.

Approximately 15 Orange Colored Lights In The Sky Flew Over Salem Illinois

Time:  9:30 p.m. -10:00 p.m.

Tonight around 9:30, my mom and I spotted a low flying, slow paced, orange glowing object, coming from the north heading south. As we got out of the vehicle to go into Taco Bell, I looked up in the same direction that I saw the first one, and we saw three of them together, in a diagonal formation.

They were so low flying we thought we could hear them, but we didn't. About five minutes later another one appeared out of the north, and was traveling at the same speed of all the others. Every five minutes another one appeared!

All together we spotted roughly 15. I do have a picture of the three in diagonal position. Thought I would share my story with someone who has seen the same!

7 To 12 Red Lights Spotted In The Sky Between Payson And Salem Utah

I seen something around 8:30 p.m. - 8:40 p.m. on 1-25-12. Between Payson and Salem Utah. Looking like 7 or 12  red  lights moving in and out of  formation.

 

Really I can't explain what I seen, I have tried to see if any one else, or the news has picked up any thing yet and so far not a thing?

String Of 8 Or 9 Orange Colored Lights Seen From Salem Utah

I was picking up my daughter and looked southeast and there was a string of lights that appeared to look like flares.  There was probably 8 or 9 of them and they appeared to be rising.

Large Hairy Man Like Creature Frightens Witness At Salem Indiana (Sasquatch/Bigfoot Sighting)

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was in my outdoor hot tub on a cold February night, when all of a sudden I smelled this disgusting, foul odor that smelled like a cross between eggs and rotted flesh.

 

I sat there for a few moments, wondering just what could be causing such a smell, when suddenly I heard a great crashing in the small strip of woods in the field across from my house.

 

I held my breath, too scared to talk when I saw a the faint outline of what appeared to be a hairy man, around 7-8 feet tall, in the light of my upper porch light.

 

Scared to death by now, I waited for the creature to pass into the woods on the backside of my house, then I quickly jumped up and ran inside.

Stationary UFO Finally Moves Off Over Salem Arkansas

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was at a rural baseball park watching my son play ball. The game started late and all other games were over and park was dark except son's game. I was in the parking lot watching the game, and I was only person in the lot.

 

It was hot and the windows were down in my car. I looked up and to the west and there was a really bright object just sitting up in the air, making no sound. I did not observe this object for a few seconds or minutes. This object was there for 2 and half hours! The object stayed for the rest of the ballgame.

 

The light was so bright you could not look at it for very long. I would watch it out the corner of my eye and straight on for as long as possible. This object was quite low could not have been star, moon, airplane or anything like that. When it would move, it "floated" and I have never seen anything in the sky that moved like this object did.

 

After watching it for an hour, I could make out some type of moving motion around the craft, very hard to explain. The minute the game was over I thought, "great other people will see it", but as soon as the last pitch was thrown it floated off to the west at a really slow rate of speed.

 

I have never seen anything paranormal before and I am not one to "see things", I was so shocked I could not sleep that night and a few after. This maybe will sound crazy, but I got the feeling they were "watching" the game and I had a feeling that I have never had before, that this craft was not from this world.

 

Believe me, I know how it sounds, but this was a 2 hours of watching the craft. I was 30 miles from my home and at that time had no cell phone. I felt like I had to speak up for all the people who are made fun of for telling the truth.

Bright Orange Red Fire Type Object Over Salem Indiana

Full Description of Event/Sighting: My Wife called me to the rear of our house as she was letting out dogs. She noticed the strangely-lit object steadily moving across the sky. It was a lot larger than an airplane light, and did not blink, it was bright, round, and an orangish-red color, without defined edges and almost appeared to be burning or on fire. It had no visible trail or smoke.

It was silent and moved southwest to northeast and eventually disappeared from sight. We viewed the object for approximately 1-2 minutes. There were no clouds in the sky. We have both witnessed thousands airplanes at night and neither of us had seen anything like this before. The whole experience is quite eerie.

Full Description of event/sighting: We were driving past some fields after leaving Lancaster and Sunnyview. The sky was completely black. My friend said "do you see that?" right as I looked up. It was a bright greenish light. It went down quite rapidly, and seemed to curve away from us; as if it was dropping elevation and propelling itself forward after leveling off. We went trough our options and there were no logical explanations to what we had witnessed.

Salem/Silverton, Oregon Triangular Craft

Hi there, As I was doing some research trying to see if anyone saw the same UFO (meaning Unidentified, I as a huge plane enthusiast couldn't identify) I ran across an article written by you, so I hoped that I could write in to you about what I, and my family (4 of us total) saw.

Driving East on Hazel Green NE, about 1/2 mile North of Central Howell, between 7:15 and 7:25, my younger sister looked up in the sky and said "Woah, (name removed), that is a cool plane! What type is it?" I looked up and was completely confused. It was a triangular object with 3 bright strobe like lights at each corner, one at the tip closest to us was the brightest. There were no landing/taxi lights on it to indicate that it was an aircraft that fell into FAA flight regulations. It seemingly hovered, and was maybe a quarter of a mile away from us, if that, and as we went on we realized that it was moving slowly sidewise parallel to us. As an aeronautics nut, I would estimate that it was at maybe 1,500 feet, but I'm leaning more towards 750-1250 feet. After about a minute to a minute and a half it immediately went into a rapid climb of about 45,000 feet per minute, exceeding that of a F-15 Eagle which has a full afterburner climb rate of ~30,000 Feet Per Second.

It was on October 31, 2008. A correction I would like to make was I had said "feet per second" when I had meant to say "feet per minute".

I would guesstimate that it would be about 30 feet from light to light.

When it went into it's rapid climb it was still moving like a crab, slowly sideways (or so it appeared), it's climb started slow, almost unnoticeable, but then it just shot up like a bullet out of a gun, almost like a fighter jets afterburner, added ignition, then it's gone. At the time the weather was cloudy, with scattered drizzles, so it would of had to climb quite rapidly to lose sight of it as quickly as we did, but also makes it a bit harder to guess rate of climb as you have sight on it for less time.

Salem, Oregon UFO Moves Off Quickly

Description: Laying in my bed playing with my kitten. My room is on the second story of my house, the window facing north. I looked out my window and noticed a bright yellow/orange/reddish light. It was moving like nothing I've seen. I got up to look closer and in my stomach I knew it wasn't normal. There was a shadow underneath the light, like an upside down hand fan. The light was at the tip. It moved very steadily in a dipping C movement, lingered for about 3
seconds, then flew quickly outward north.

Salem Oregon A Triangular Craft

Location of Sighting: Liberty Rd. S Salem OR.

Shape of objects: Triangular.

HBCC UFO Research Note: I did call and spoke to the eyewitness, as always it was a nice conversation over what was seen.

Full Description of event/sighting: I witnessed an unexplained aircraft in flight while driving southward on Liberty Road, shortly after crossing Salem Heights Road. The object was in a perfect triangular shape, there were three white, flashing lights that almost flashed as quick as a strobe; flashing much too fast to be an airplane and there was no red or green lights visible to indicate it was an airplane. Near this location it is very rare to see an airplane from the airport, and after viewing the meteor shower later that night, none of the airplanes could even compare to what I had seen earlier. Between these three flashing lights there was no visible craft that could be seen, just the flashing lights in their perfect triangle, even though it was right after sunset when there were still a few moments of light remaining which would have allowed me to identify a plane or helicopter.

The craft made a slow, tilted turn above the trees, for a few seconds I was able to maintain a clear view of the object before it disappeared behind the trees while I was driving along Liberty, indicating the object was fairly low, but still high enough to be well above the trees in it's direction, which to me at the time was southeast not more than a half mile away. I tried to keep view of it while driving, but at that point after it turned, the object moved further to the southeast, it became just one flashing light in the distance, maybe five miles away. After fighting the urge to follow further south to keep view of it, I had to return to my home nearby off of Liberty. I still cannot explain what I saw, although I after a little research of pictures on the internet, the best comparison of what I saw would be the UFO picture from Hoboken, NJ May 9, 1984. Obviously, the lights are not flashing, but if the were it would be almost identical to my sighting. 15 miles South of Rolla and North of Salem, Missouri 7 Huge Craft (UFOs)

Hello, Friday night around 9:30 when I got home from college. I saw two crafts with strobe effects with the colors of blue, green, and red. I went inside my house to show my babysitter the crafts. She is sixteen. As we were both outside one flew directly above us. It appeared to be circle shaped from underneath. After it passed quickly we both went inside because she became scared. Six minutes later, I peeked my head out side and noticed more strobe lights in the sky and one seemed to be in the distance. We then counted about 7 craft headed in an easterly direction. All craft were headed that way. There was no noise. I have seen these craft before, by myself while alone, and can tell you that they are huge. I would like to also note that I reported this to NUFORC and watched it circle my property and neighbors property for 45 minutes one night, and they were also seen every night around my property for months. I also have seen the orange/amber colored lights that disappear and so has my neighbor and her family.

4 Miles North Of Salem, Missouri Six Or More Lights Appearing

Location of Sighting: We live 4 miles north of Salem, Missouri. The lights were ESE and SSE from our house, towards Salem.

Shape of objects: Round, orange-white lights.

Full Description of event/sighting: I live across the road from my parents. My 8-year-old son and I walked my niece back to their house. We were walking back home and talking about going to the back yard to lay down on the trampoline to watch the stars since it was over 61 degrees F, and the sky was clear. As we were walking, I looked towards my house, which is south of my parents house and I pointed at a bright orange light and said, "what is that?". I thought it was a really bright planet or something, but I didn't remember hearing anything about that. As soon as I had thought that, it disappeared. My son witnessed that as well. As soon as that one had disappeared, another one appeared in the east. Very bright orange-white light. I turned around and told my other niece to run in and tell my parents to come outside and look.

I saw it happen in 3 different places about 5 times before I ran inside to grab my camera and drive my car to my parents house. As I got onto their front deck, I saw another one, and my brother was able to see it just before it faded. He saw another one with me that was a lot dimmer and moved up. My dad came outside and together we saw over 8 occurrences in different locations. There were 3-4 times that we saw two lights grouped together. I tried to get a video of the lights, but all it captured was our voices. I will try to find a video editor and see if I can brighten the video. It was very interesting. I'd like to know if there are any other reports of this please. Thank you!
