Spinning Globe/UFO With Beam Of Sickening Blue Light At Jonesville Virginia

Date:  Spring of 1977
Time:  Around midnight.

Brian, I hope this note finds you doing well and I'm sorry I have put off this email so long, sometimes I'm willing to "chew" on what happened on that particular night in the Spring of 1977, and sometimes I'm unwilling, this morning, I feel inspired to share.

When I first emailed you in September, I had just been through a very interesting Summer in that several things happened that oh so reminded me of a night in 1977 that taught me what fear was.

My father had just sold our small family owned Chevy dealership and purchased a bigger Chevrolet store in a slightly larger market. This southwest Virginia town had at that time, before coal was killed, a good and prosperous future.

A home was purchased and additions and upgrades began on the nearly 100 year old house, meantime, we rented a small house in Jonesville, Virginia, a few miles away.

I, at 20 years old, had planned on getting an apartment near the dealership, but for the first time in my life, I was moving soon to a mansion on the hill.

The heck with the apartment, Pop had moved us "on up" and I wasn't going miss out on driving girlfriends up that driveway (this situation lasted only a few years, however, due to Carters policies killing the auto business, ended up in a subdivision, just like everybody else, good while it lasted, though.)

So, there's the skinny on where I was at that time, in the rented house in Jonesville, Virginia in the standup attic bedroom/party room I took upstairs.

This was one long room with an old rather large window at each end.

One night, about midnight, propped on my elbow reading by a small, dim lamp, the 13" TV playing, I noticed a car rolling off the hill out my back window and one headlight was out, it looked as if an unlikeable neighbors car had gotten loose and was rolling down through the yards.

I was wondering who's house it was going to smash into. I turned off the lamp, put my book on the bedside table, and propped up my pillow to sit up in bed and watch the show of what I was sure going be cops, yelling neighbors and maybe even a bigole fire, well, I was 19.

As soon as I got good and set up, this one headlight instantly made a bee line for my window! It covered 200 yards in one second. I could not move, period. I was gripped with fear, sounds cliché, but gripped I was, I could move my eyes, nothing else.

This "headlight" was now a spinning, smeary/crackly globe about the size of a basketball, with a pencil beam of sickening blue light emanating from one spot. As the globe spun, the beam was passing through my room going up and down searching, I prayed. Paralyzed, I prayed. Every rotation of the ball, brought the blue beam closer to me. It searched the room five times. That's it.

When I awoke around 8:00 a.m., I was so stiff, that I had to think if Id been in a wreck or fight the night before, nope, home all night........oh!

When I remembered, my legs went out from under me. I collapsed and mom found me, asked me what was wrong, i told her as best I could, she began to cry, and to tell me that she had just gotten off the phone with my aunt who had just listened to the same story from her son.

Well, Brian, that's my encounter with the blue beam of light. That particular frequency of blue, I've never seen before, but to this day, a neon sign of near that hue makes me sick.

Vertical Beam Of Light In The Sky Over Breckenridge Colorado

Vike Factor Note: What the witness was observing was a vertical beam of light, and another vertical beam which appeared to look like a hook.

Neon Green Beam Of Light Came From The Sky Into The Gulf Seen From St. George Island Florida

Red/Dark Orange Object With Beam Of Light Inside And Seen Over Winter Park Florida

Hello, on 2/7 at about 7:00 p.m. as I was walking up my driveway after picking up the mail, I glanced up and saw a single reddish/dark orange light over my head. 

I’ve lived in the same house 13 years, near Orlando Int’l airport, and have seen thousands of planes, helicopters and sea planes.  And blimps.
It was overcast and I didn’t actually see what it was, just the light. The first thing I deliberately did was listen for noise, this thing was absolutely noiseless. I watched this single light fly due north until it was no longer visible. 

It flew in a straight pattern. There seemed to be a light beam of some type within this red/orange light, slowly circulating round and round. 

I started yelling for a neighbor and by the time he got to me, the light was very far away but we both knew based on the distance there should have been some type of noise even at that distance. 

When my neighbor didn’t hear a noise either he suggested it was a silent helicopter.

Seems a bright, glowing red/orange light would defeat the purpose of a noiseless aircraft, if they are even being made?

Next morning I started Googling everything I could find, even ‘drones’, this was not a drone. I found your website, but didn’t see anything that related until today. 

Apparently I’m not the only one that saw this, thank God!

Any ideas what it could have been?  Has this been debunked yet? I am absolutely a believer that life exists elsewhere in the universe, but still can’t believe I actually saw what I think I saw. Thank you for being there!

Unknown Beam Of Light In The Sky Over Sacramento California

Time:  10:25 p.m.

Hi Brian, I live in Sacramento, CA and was in my kitchen at 10:25 p.m. on Thursday, 12/20/12 and heard a loud noise that sounded like a motor that reverberated in the house.

I went outside to see what was making the noise, and I looked up in the sky to the east and saw a beam of light that appeared to be streaming from a star at first, then it moved so it appeared just to be coming out of the sky. 

The light beam spanned the distance from the "top" of the sky in the north to the ground in the south. My first thought was that it could be one of those high intensity lights you sometimes see at car dealerships or carnivals. 

However, those lights usually shine brighter from earth and decrease in luminosity as they peak in the sky. This light was unlike that. It seemed equal in luminosity throughout, and perhaps even brighter from the peak of the sky. 

Then the light bent at about a 3 - 5 degree angle midway through its length, and then it seemed to twist. I went inside to get my 19 year old son to look at it as well, and we were both mystified.

That's what brought me to your blog. I was looking to see if anyone else saw and perhaps knew what was going on. Thanks.

Bright Orange/Yellow Object With Beam Of Light Reflecting Off The Water At Miami Beach Florida

I'm staying in Miami Beach with friend and we both saw it for about 4 minutes, hovering over the ocean.

There was a beam of light reflecting into the ocean from the brightness of the object.

It was at 9:44 p.m. until 9:48 p.m. on December 18, 2012. It was very bright yellowish orange. Didn't make a sound.

Bright Green Beam Of Light Shot Downward Towards The Ground Over Southern California

Time:  Approx: 1:20 a.m.

Hi, my name is (name removed) and I live in Southern California. Tonight I was driving home on the freeway at about 1:20 a.m. As I was driving I look up over the mountains to my left and see a bright green beam shoot vertically down from the sky.

Right away I knew it wasn't a shooting star or comet because the beam's diameter was much, much wider and vertical as opposed to other astronomical objects. I rushed home to find out what it was and your website was the first article to appear on Google.

The beam lasted all of about two seconds and as you look towards the center on the beam the green slowly fades to a yellow-ish color. When it dissipated it somewhat "evaporated" or "dissipated". The length of the beam can be compared to the length of a shooting star.

The beam itself was very wide. I can't tell if I heard anything because I had my windows up and music playing.

Black Diamond Shaped UFO Projected Green Beam Of Light Over Houston Texas

Please this is true story! I saw it with a cop friend of mine, it was a large black diamond shape craft hovering two hundred feet from the ground at my office at (removed) Chimney Rock on October 9, 2009 at 2:00 a.m.

This craft was incredible. Green beams were projected from both sides. The craft hovered over my building for thirty minutes, then pulsed away heading toward Richmond, Texas.

It never made a sound. Not one sound. It was scary.

Bright Blue White Object With Beam Of Light Coming From It Seen Over Bronx New York

Time:  Evening.

 

I live in the Bronx and last night I was in my living room when I noticed a bright streaking light out of the corner of my eye. I opened the window to get a better view as I could not believe what I was seeing.

This object did not seem large, as it must have been only 150 feet from my window. It was very bright (blue to white) and had many points, almost like you would expect when seeing a star.

 

The object slowed down and had a beam similar to a searchlight coming out of it and seemed to be scanning the area.

At this point I ran to get my camera and within the moment I came back it was gone. I watch UFO documentaries all the time and believe we are not alone, but must admit this took me aback.

And I am pretty certain it was not a helicopter or balloon or some other easily recognized object

Huge Green Beam Of Light Comes From UFO Over Central Ohio

I saw the article at http://the-v-factor-paranormal.blogspot.com/2011/04/neon-green-beam-of-light-over-maalaea.html about the green beam of light coming from the sky, and I've had a very similar experience in 2009.

Before I get started, I'd just like to say that I'm a skeptic and an Atheist, so I don't think it was some "spirit" or anything, and I'm not exaggerating to try to make it sound like a had a "close encounter" or whatever. The following is really the only reason I have for believing that there may be ET's visiting us.

I was on the way back home from my mothers house (Central, Ohio) when a huge green beam of light coming from about 10 feet above a large tree that was about 75 feet behind us. It started shining inside of the car and zig-zagging all over the place, lighting up about a 50 feet radius.

My buddy was driving and he thought it was just someone messing with us or something, as I did too at the moment, so he threw the car in reverse and backed up to the tree it was coming from and shouted for "whoever's shining that light in my mirror get the heck out here!

I can't see where I'm going, you're lighting up the whole inside of the car and it stopped. We sat there for a minute, then continued on our way. As soon as we started driving again, the light started zig-zagging at a more and more rapid pace illuminating what I'd guess was about a 500 feet radius, it lit up the whole damn neighborhood pretty much.

It was at that point when I realized where it was coming from, like I said, about 10 feet above the tree. It continued to follow us all the way down the road, keeping up with us the whole time. Throughout the whole rest of the way home which was about 8 miles, we could see green orb-like lights throughout the woods on both sides of us and when we got into town they just vanished and I've never seen anything like it since.

It's wasn't 40 feet wide, or coming from the ocean, but it seems like a really similar incident; green beam of light coming from seemingly nowhere. Thanks for your time.

Green Beam Of Light Over Maui Mountains Hawaii

I read your short article. I had a customer four days ago in a nighttime outdoor business that commented to me they saw a green beam that came out of the west and over the Maui mountains and went up to the sky.

I asked if they were shooting down something, they said no and that it appeared to be going up.

They asked me what I was. I laughed because I had seen it also about a year ago on my late night drive home from work. Honestly I have never really talked to anyone about. I thought I was just tired after work. Clue me in if you know what it might be.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Looking out on our ocean front balcony at 3:00am a neon green beam of light around 40 feet wide and reached from the ocean to the sky. The beam of light appeared quickly and was moving toward our condo and then quickly disappeared. This was witnessed by my husband who does not believe in UFO's.

The next morning he called the Coast Guard and the airport and talked to several people, but did not get an answer. No one knew what he was talking about. So now my husband thinks that maybe the navy was doing something and didn't want the public to know. What do you think?

North Of San Gabriel Mountains - Over Edwards AFB Beam Of Intense Light

Date: December 4, 2007 Time: 1:40 a.m.

Location of Sighting: North of San Gabriel Mountains, in high desert over Edwards AFB. Number of witnesses: ? Number of objects: N/A Shape of objects: Beam of intense light narrowing in the upper atmosphere.

Full Description of event/sighting: I was driving east on Glendora Ridge Road between Mt. Baldy and Glendora Mountain Road at approximately 1:40 am in the middle of the night. This is a rather remote location at approximately 4,000 feet on an extremely clear cool night. Glendora Ridge Road is isolated and dark with many saddleback hills allowing a great view of the Los Angeles basin to the South and the mountains approaching what is called the "high desert" (Palmdale, Victorville, Edwards AFB) to the North.

I had stopped and was out of my vehicle admiring the great view of the Los Angeles skyline in the distance to the South. I was only standing there for a few minutes when I was almost blinded by a sudden blast of intense bright light from behind me to the north. I was stunned for a few seconds, my mind trying to comprehend what could possibly be so bright and sudden. It was like an explosion without the sound.

I have to admit I was terrified and slowly turned not knowing what to expect. What I saw jolted me almost to the ground, it was overwhelming. My jaw was slack as I saw an immensely blinding, sky filling blast of bright violet light. Still lighting up the entire sky almost 5 seconds after the initial blast.

Now for the weirdness! As I was trying to adjust my eyes, still not fully understanding what was going on, an absolutely gigantic beam of light shot straight up in the air as if shooting at something in space. It was on for a full 3 seconds and seemed to narrow down to a fraction of it's lower diameter in the upper atmosphere, and there was a definite marked delineation where the beam suddenly narrowed. I am guessing at around 50,000 feet. The color was also strange. If you can imagine an arc-welder except bright purple.

It went off like a light switch, no noise, no residual light dimming down. I stood there for what seemed like minutes, stunned and confused. After some thought, I realized this came from over the mountains out in the High Desert. Again, the beam went up, as if shooting at something and was on for several seconds and it was huge to be so far away.

Interstate 15, Hwy 138, I-58 and many other heavily traveled roads in the high desert has heavy 18 wheeler traffic 24/7 and it's impossible that this wasn't seen by thousands of people. Yet I've been unable to find anyone who saw what I saw. Thanks.

New York (Near Pine Bush) A 30 Foot Saucer Shaped UFO A Beam Of Light

Location of Sighting: New York (near Pine Bush). Number of witnesses: 2 Number of objects: 1 Shape of objects: 30 foot saucer shaped vehicle red blue lights w/beam.

Full Description of event/sighting: Driving home on country road when lights were sighted behind a tree, about 40 feet up and about 40 feet in front of us. We stopped our vehicle, it lowered and moved directly in front of us over road. Flashing blue and red lights and a beam of light from under it, beaming onto road in front of us. It hovered over road directly in front of us. We were actually having a terrifying encounter with this thing. Who was going to make the next move? My sister, who was driving wanted to turn around and go back down the road towards town. I knew not to get under the beam. I knew if we tried to go back it would get over us. I told my sister to make turn into upper driveway to our house. We had to go toward the UFO, and it lowered more and began to come toward us, but we swerved a sharp right to turn into the driveway. We were terrified! We parked our car, my sister on driver's side ran to house, saying "it is not a helicopter. It makes no noise!" I opened passenger side, and running around back of vehicle, looked up straight ahead of me. The UFO is directly in front of me, very close to the ground, just hovering. No beam of light underneath now, but a grey blue light all around it.

It was between the house and garage buildings, just hovering there. It was about 30 feet wide. I was sort of mesmerized by it. We try to account for the time. Just remember suddenly again being behind my sister on the porch as she was trying to open the door with the keys, surprisingly so calmly. Afterwards, we both realized it must have been directly over our vehicle in the driveway because we did not see it go down the road in front of us. Also, a funny thing was my sister had been frightened by these things hovering low near the radio tower on the road and had been practicing parking here vehicle facing the road and practicing opening the door as quickly as possible. It hovered a few minutes, then very, very slowly moves up and away from me over tree tops. A very, very whisper of sort of an electrical generator sound.!

The next day the tree it hovered over before slowly moving toward road had the leaves all drooping and looked dried out. And a circle on the grass where it hovered. There are always these strange "flashing stars" in the area all the time, and my sister is very frightened of these things. Even before this encounter.

Like she has had some "experience" with them before or something. She would point at them and tell me "those are not stars!" And every night they are still there, some hanging very low, not at a great distance. These "flashing stars" are also here in Branson, Mo. I see them every night. Just hovering in the sky all the time. Not sure if these are military vehicles or what. But this is very frightening.

I had been in New York for only a short time when this happened and we did not go out after dark after this. Did research on the Pine Bush UFO sightings over the years. Know top military experimentation facilities in the area. Researching more very interesting information about the area and military and government experimentation and facilities. I have found information on a UFO crash in the area in 1965, and military people came on our property about that time to search for something. I remember my dad and I watching the UFO's in the sky from out kitchen windows in the 60's and 70's, usually a cluster of three or so. They would hover and then suddenly just take off really fast to nowhere. But couldn't talk about it then. Now look at the talk on the internet. No, we are not crazy. This is really happening. But what and who are they? Sort of makes me proud when my sister and I can say "two blondes out maneuvered a UFO" ! What would the brunettes have done?

Joking about it now. But it was the most terrifying experience of my life. We thought we were going to die. We were hysterical, crying a screaming. Now I see them here too. Why is no one, like scientists and "star gazers" not talking about them? I can easily pick them out. They just hang in the sky for hours, and have flashing pulsating red and green lights. And there is sometimes a larger very bright white thing with them. Are many other people reporting these things to you also? On the internet I've found a few people questioning these "flashing stars."

North East Ohio In Geauga County Another Report Of A Huge Column Of Light

Message: Hi Mr. Vike, I received the Filer files from the ufomig group. After clicking Filers #4 I scrolled down and came to the article I believe you supplied. It was the Large cylinder of light seen in Maryland. I had an experience in 1959 or 60. I lived in a suburb of Cleveland Ohio and was on a double date going to a rock and roll party at an amusement park called Geauga Lake Park. This is located in North East Ohio in Geauga County. The place was packed and they waved us by. We went to the end of the road and came back going in a North West direction. When we reach about a quarter of a mile from the entrance, a bright column of light appeared on the South side of the road in an open area of scrub brush and grass.

There was a narrow creek running through the center of the circle of light. The diameter was about 100 to 150ft and the height about 400 to 500 ft. You could see the clouds going by where the light shined on them.There was some static sparks coming off the sides of the column. The night was pitch black and there were no street lights. The edge of the light was 100 to 150ft away from me.The two girls that were in the car went crazy with fear, thinking the world was coming to an end. My date wouldn't let me walk over to get under the light. After 20 or so minutes, the light just blinked off. The Cleveland Press, (local paper) said"hundreds of people seen the Aurora Borealis last night at Geauge Lake Park". I was there and it certainly was no Aurora sitting a hundred feet from me. I did report this to mufon, but only 48 or 49 years late. Is this the first time any one has seen something like this? I've been looking for more sightings as this one but no one seems to know anything about them. Thanks for your time. (name removed) Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Hickman, Nebraska Eyewitness Reports Seeing A Huge Beam Of Light

Full Description of event/sighting: I am reporting this because I read a report on the RENSE web site of yours that sounds like what I encountered at my home a few years ago.

Driving south to my home I noticed no unusual lights as I approached my driveway. I made a right 90 degree turn to the west and drove two hundred feet to my garage. To the northwest of my location as I faced west was a huge floodlight on the other side of my barn that sits 200 feet to the north.

What I saw was a humongous beam of light going straight up, or coming straight down. My immediate reaction was to back out of my driveway to see what the neighbor was doing with so much light.

It took only ten or so seconds to back out of my driveway and look down the street. No lights were coming from my neighbors house out from the normal house light.

I drove into my driveway again and to my surprise, no light was now present. Nothing now out of the ordinary.

I was scared to move, I was almost to scared to even breathe.

The light I saw was so strong, it light up the air like a search light you see at a mall opening or other public event to attract attention.

The next day I went to Google and printed out a satellite map of my area and I made a map of what it was I saw. No street or yard lights or buildings are in the path of what I saw with my eyes for over a mile. It was not possible for what I saw to be an anomaly of a neighbors yard lights, as the points of these do not line up.

I am still frightened to drive home every night when I come home from work.

I will never forget what I saw nor will I ever go back to being the same.

I would estimate the amount of light I saw to be the equivalent of ten thousand train headlights. I would guess the width of the beam from side to side was in the range of fifty feet across to a great deal more than that. If the light behind my barn was a mile away or more, the width of the beam might have been measured in miles rather than feet.

I know what I saw was real, but I do not know what it was that I saw at 3:00am in the morning.

I do not drink, nor do I use drugs. However if I ever see this again at 3:00am, I might start!

Ten Mile, Tennessee Egg Shaped Object Emits A Red Beam Of Light

Full Description of event/sighting: When we went onto the porch, we saw a blinking light in the sky just above the ridge. It blinked different colors: red, blue, green, pink, purple, and white. At one point, a red beam of light came down from it to the earth below. At another time, it emitted a white ring of light that went out and then went back in. It came from the middle section of the craft. We (Myself and my sons, ages 11 and 7) watched it for approximately 45 minutes. At about 11:15 we went back outside and it had moved to N of us. It continued on it's course across the sky and getting lower. It eventually went behind the tree line. It made no noises (like an airplane or helicopter would). It came back up from behind the tree lines and completely disappeared.

Raytown, Missouri Hovering Triangle Shots Off Beam Of Light

I just stumbled across this website: UFOINFO with a report of a possible UFO sighting in the North Kansas City, Missouri area in June of 2005. I know you said to contact you here if someone saw the sighting from June 2005, which I didn't, but I had an experience with what sounds like to be with a similar object on March 10, 2006. It makes me feel so relieved that there has been something similar like this to of happened to someone else.

It started when I was driving home between 9:00pm and 9:30pm on March 10th. I was leaving Raytown, Missouri. I was on East 66th Street at a yield sign (which I completely stopped my car) and I looked up into the sky at an unusual object that immediately caught my attention. My first thoughts were "What the heck is that?" because it did not look like a plane at the distance I was at. It was an object with two lights at the time. One red, one blue. I turned left onto Harris Street to get closer to this object, watching it most of the time. I went speeding down and turned right on 63rd Street to get even closer to the object.

At this point, I was very close to the object and diagonal from underneath it. This was when I realized it was a triangular craft with three lights, instead of just the two. One red, one blue, and one white. It was moving extremely slow and it was unusually low. It was about even with a tall tree top. All of a sudden it picked up speed. I turned left onto Woodson Rd. and then right onto 61st Street (still in Raytown, Missouri).

The object was moving at a medium, steady speed and I was still diagonally underneath it. I came to a dead end area, but when you turned right, which I did to follow this craft, it had an exit point. It literally stopped, and was hovering over a backyard of one particular house that was sitting over to the left side of the street, still sitting very low and about 4-5 feet above the roof top of this house and a tall tree. There was no sound coming from this triangular craft. At this point in time, there was a car behind me moving very slow. I pulled onto a side street to turn my car at a facing direction with the craft. It shot a beam of white light into the backyard that it was hovering over.

To me, it looked dimmed from the side. The light was coming from the underneath side of the object. I glanced away for not even a second and the beam of white light was literally in front or even on my car. I don't know where it was positioned, but when I looked up and it was incredibly blinding. For me, it was worse than looking at the sun. I had to immediately look away and then I looked back up when the light was gone in a matter of seconds and it circled around twice really fast and took off in the opposite direction it was originally traveling. Out of nowhere, it all of a sudden disappeared in the matter or a couple quick seconds or two blinks of an eye. It was no longer in the sky from a distance.

That's when I started crying because I had no idea what I had just experienced and where the craft was at, as it was no longer in the sky. I knew it was not a typical plane. I made a phone call to a relative telling them what had happened to me and my relative insisted that I saw a stealth bomber. As soon as I went home that evening, I got online to find a picture of a stealth bomber. This was not a stealth bomber. It was a solid triangular shaped object with three constant lights on each corner (red, blue, and white) from underneath and another area for a light where the beam came out of underneath.

The next day, I couldn't get the event out of my head. My curiosity was running like crazy. I took a relative to the same area and to see the same house the object was hovering over around 4:00 pm that day. I don't know if this was just by a very strange coincidence or what, but there was a couple in the backyard cleaning up a lot of tree brush. I do not know if the tree brush was there prior to this event or not as I was only focused on what was in the sky. I heard no tree brush fall, or any other sounds from the craft. I didn't want to stop and ask the couple because I knew they would probably think I was a nut case.

Sitting on the corner of 63rd Street and Woodson is a plaza of a grocery store, a bar, and a few other small stores. I know I could not be the only one to see this triangular object. It was literally across the street from the plaza at a very low level.
