Unknown Lights Observed From Sunset Beach North Carolina

 Date:  December 15, 2014
Time:  Approx: 7:30 p.m.

I was doing some night metal detecting on Sunset Beach, NC tonight around 7:30 p.m.

I kept an eye on the sky to look for meteors and saw a couple of planes way up in the sky.

Then over the ocean, low in the sky I saw 2 white lights that I first thought was another low flying plane, but they weren't moving.

Then the clouds covered them up, and I went back to detecting, assuming the lights were just an airplane.

Then a couple that was out walking on the beach, came running over to me and asked if I saw the UFOs!

They said they see them from time to time, and called them orbs. We discussed the lights for while and I told them I had also seen similar lights on North Myrtle Beach this past summer, in the middle of a thunderstorm and lightning flashes at sea.

Unknown Lights Circling Overhead In Covington Kentucky

 Date:  May 6, 2014
Time:  3:30 a.m.

I woke up with terrible heartburn around 3:30 a.m. on May 6, 2014, so I went outside to sit on my front porch to have a cigarette.

The leaves were starting to bloom on the trees at that time of year, so they were not empty, yet not full. I noticed something that looked like a spotlight in the sky passing through the trees.

The light was dim light a flashlight, but much bigger, and it did not have any beams stemming from the sky or the ground. As I studied this light, I saw it moving, in a steady pace through the opening of the trees, counterclockwise, full circle, then clockwise, but the clockwise seemed to start at the half-way point.

So, it would do 1 full circle counterclockwise, then 1 half circle clockwise, with the clockwise not starting from where the counterclockwise ended. It seemed to be very low and could have covered the distance of 2-3 houses on my street.

It was right above me. I sat out there for about 30 minutes and this continued the whole time. I studied the neighborhood as well to make sure the light wasn't coming from the top of a neighbor's house, and it wasn't. I went back to bed baffled.

The next day I decided to walk across the street and then go into my back yard to try to determine the diameter that this light was hovering, and my guess was right, 2-3 houses.

I only wish I would have had the nerve to go into the back yard as I witnessed this because there is a huge clearing back there. I later asked the local police department, that is located just a couple of blocks away, if they were aware of any sort of motion lights in the neighborhood, and they were not aware of any, nor were any of the neighbors.

It couldn't have been a motion light anyway, there were no beams. I'm still baffled. I keep thinking it could've been the lights that trim the bottom of an unidentified craft, and that I couldn't see the craft because of the trees. Never know.

Please let me know if there are any other similar sightings, it would help put my mind at ease.

Approximately 16 Unknown Lights/Objects Seen In The Sky Outside Of San Diego California

Time:  From 9:30 p.m. - 10:15 p.m.

Hello Brian, just last night around 9:30 p.m. my colleague and I witnessed these crazy/unexplained lights in the dark sky. On our way to San Diego for our delivery, we were chatting when I discovered, every light was passing us, except one that remained in front of us, as soon as I asked my colleague, “what it that"?

A second orange light appeared out of thin air. It was exactly the same, yet the right light was slightly more above then the left one. We were in awe, but we were also very confused and excited.

After watching for a little longer, the first light disappeared. What stunned us was the 2 following lights that appeared more to the right. After taking pictures and videos of everything we saw, my colleague decided he had to pull over.

We stopped at the nearest rest point, immediately we grabbed our phones and ran towards where the freeway and the rest stop hill ended. There we had a very clear footage and caught everything, especially the orbs that randomly disappeared/appeared.

On August 25, 2014 and from 9:30 p.m. - 10:15 p.m. we witnessed about 16 lights in the dark sky. Please contact me asap to compare or help give me an in sight of "The Unidentified Object in the Sky".

Pilots Observe Unknown Orange And Red Light Coming From The Ocean Below (Pictures)

Pilots got a shock when flying over the Pacific Ocean and noticed the bright glow coming from the ocean below.

Unknown Orange Lights Seen In The Sky Over Bellingham Washington

Several people other than my family saw this last night around 6:45 PST in Bellingham, Washington.

My mom and step dad happened to be over when my 2 year old spotted them through the window.

It was crazy. I actually called a local radio station this a.m. to see if anyone else reported it. The guy said he wasn't working and didn't see any notes, but he saw the same thing once and said they are drones?

I'm still so curious to know what it was.

Orange Lights Turn Out To Be Unknown UFO Flying Over White Rock Lake Texas

Two weeks ago a friend was telling me the same story when he and his wife were walking at White Rock Lake at 8:30 p.m.

I listened like I believed him, until we went to White Rock Lake and saw it again. This time when the light disappeared, we looked to the west and saw the flying craft.

Unknown Lights Drop Down Below Tree Line And Raise Up Again Over Mount Airy North Carolina

Time:  Approx; 11:30 p.m.

Hi Mr. Vike, my name is (name removed) and I have seen the same thing for the past two weeks, but last night looking toward Mount Airy and I saw six of the lights in a row hover then go down below the tree line.

They came back up, leveled out and went a little higher then vanished. I tried to take video and pictures, but I could see it through the view finder, but it all came out black.

I live in State Road.

The episode with the 6 light's was 1/18/2013 around 11:30 p.m. and no sound and nothing on the TV or newspapers about it.

4 Or 5 Unknown Orange Lights Seen In The Sky Over Sacramento California

Time:  Approx; 5:50 p.m. – 5:55 p.m.

Hi, I found your sight while Googling "orange lights over Sacramento" today. I was passing from Elk Grove, CA onto downtown Sacramento, and saw the lights just east of Highway 99.

There were 4 or 5, in a not-perfectly straight, more staggered formation.

This was yesterday, January 12, 2013, at approximately 5:50 p.m. - 5:55 p.m.? 

I'm pretty sure other people saw them too, because people were tapping their brakes on the freeway, slowing down a bit, etc. and there was no accident or other source of distraction or traffic.

Unknown Beam Of Light In The Sky Over Sacramento California

Date:  December 20, 2012
Time:  10:25 p.m.

Hi Brian, I live in Sacramento, CA and was in my kitchen at 10:25 p.m. on Thursday, 12/20/12 and heard a loud noise that sounded like a motor that reverberated in the house.

I went outside to see what was making the noise, and I looked up in the sky to the east and saw a beam of light that appeared to be streaming from a star at first, then it moved so it appeared just to be coming out of the sky. 

The light beam spanned the distance from the "top" of the sky in the north to the ground in the south. My first thought was that it could be one of those high intensity lights you sometimes see at car dealerships or carnivals. 

However, those lights usually shine brighter from earth and decrease in luminosity as they peak in the sky. This light was unlike that. It seemed equal in luminosity throughout, and perhaps even brighter from the peak of the sky. 

Then the light bent at about a 3 - 5 degree angle midway through its length, and then it seemed to twist. I went inside to get my 19 year old son to look at it as well, and we were both mystified.

That's what brought me to your blog. I was looking to see if anyone else saw and perhaps knew what was going on. Thanks.

Unknown Lights And A Bright Green Flash Of Light Over Orange County California

Time:  Approx: 11:00 p.m.

I live in Orange County, California and I just happened to stumble onto this post because I was Googling what I saw last night around 11:00 p.m. It was overcast, but when I went outside I saw these bright lights shining through one area in the sky.

They did not move like planes or helicopters and they lingered and moved very slowly in the same spot. There was one bright green flash that me and two friends saw and that's when I knew that we were probably looking at a spaceship.

It was a pretty amazing experience and I could not sleep from how excited I was.

6 Unknown Lights Over Steubenville Ohio

Date:  November 9, 2012
Time:  Evening.

Interesting. I know several eye witnesses that said they saw 6 lights in the sky over Steubenville. My brother and a group of his friends saw the lights. He said they were traveling in a straight line, but the 6th light was a little further behind the others.

He said they looked like hot air balloons, and he thought they were until all of a sudden they all scattered in different directions and disappeared.

After he told me this, I started to search "lights over Ohio". And your website turned up. I believe this was witnessed over Steubenville on November 9, 2012.

Second Night Observing A Unknown Light Over South Louisiana

Time:  Evening.

Hi, I was reading an article about a strange light and sightings of planes.

The light is strange and this is my second night observing it. I'm puzzled by it. My husband and mother seen it as well. At first I thought it was a bright star, but it was really bright and began to move.

I have never seen anything like it. It has no blinking light, but I see many planes with blinking lights fly in the same area. I live in South Louisiana. Today is December 3, 2012.

Two Unknown Objects Flying Over Flower Mound Texas

Did anyone report two objects flying over DWF today. Flying west to east. Just a few minutes after 1:00 p.m.

I have it on I Phone  video, but it's hard to see. But you can see two separate objects together.

Yeah I was in Flower Mound Texas when we saw the two flying objects. It's in the Dallas fort worth Metroplex.

Unknown Lights Seen Around The Gila River Indian Reservation Arizona

Date:  July 14, 2012 into July 15, 2012
Time:  Evening.

Dear Mr. Brian Vike, greetings my name is (name removed) and I had recently stumbled upon your blog, The Vike Factor. On March 31, 2012, a witness claimed to have seen a bright orange sphere on the Gila River Indian Reservation and were requesting for any witnesses to come forward with similar encounters. 

Last July, I had witnessed a similar object that you encountered also on the Gila River Indian Reservation. The incident occurred on the night of Saturday, July 14th and early morning July 15th.

I was driving on the Arizona Highway 87 through the reservation with my girlfriend. 

We were 18 miles outside of Coolidge when we both noticed an object in the sky that emitted several colors. It had vanished a minute after we noticed it, but had resurfaced in the sky behind a hill north of the highway. 

When we were 12 miles outside of Coolidge, my girlfriend had claimed that she saw a small white light moving left and right behind several bushes. The area mentioned has a large hill to the south and several housing complexes on the north side, each on opposite sides of the highway. 

Around 4:00 a.m., I had taken my girlfriend home and was driving on the 87 coming back to the valley. I entered the same area where my girlfriend had seen the light when I saw two bright spheres near the hill. 

The one farthest from me had a bluish-tint while the one closest to me was pure white. Several seconds later, the sphere closest to me turned bright orange and the other sphere vanished into thin air. The bright orange sphere stayed in place for about 15-20 seconds before it too disappeared into thin air.

Unknown Lights In The Sky Over Wake Forest North Carolina (Picture)

Time:  9:45 p.m.

Hello, I’ve lived here ten years and never saw anything like the lights this evening in the western sky.

I believe it was lights coming from Durham (maybe a sporting event) but a friend of mine insisted that there have been a spate of triangular clusters of three lights all over the place.

So here is my picture of just that, plus two strange red lines to the left.

They stayed like that for 30 minutes and slowly faded away, I have multiple long exposures.

Two Unknown Objects In The Night Sky Over Redondo Beach California

Time:  9:30 p.m.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was with my son, soaking in the hot tub when I notice 2 distant objects moving from south to north across the night sky, with a light intensity similar to bright stars.

At first I thought I was witnessing 2 satellites in similar orbits moving across the sky, and while I have witnessed such phenomenon previously, I was curious as to why these satellites seemed to be moving at a much quicker rate and with a much brighter intensity.

Thinking that they must be low orbit military type satellites, I pointed them out to my son, and at about that time, as they reached the apex directly above me, the intensity significantly decreased, which I initially attributed to a change in the angle of the reflection, so I was going to move my gaze elsewhere.

When I noticed that the objects slowed down to an almost complete halt, at that point, noticing the change in speed and intensity. I asked my son, what he thought explained the change in speed, as the objects seemed to almost not be moving.

I briefly moved my gaze to my son as he had bored quickly of the satellites, then tried to find the objects again in the sky, and I couldn't track then any longer. Do modern satellites have the properties described above?
