1949 Witness Observes UFO Make 90 Degree Turns/Hover Over Grand Island Nebraska

Date:  Fall of 1949
Time:  Evening.

Sir, I'm a real old guy (75), but I have a story to tell.

In the Fall of 1949 while a senior in high school, I attended a night football game.

I was sitting in the west bleachers facing east and at one point during the game I noticed a light in the eastern sky fairly low to the horizon.

It slowly kept rising and the first thing I thought of that it was a *mail plane*. They were flying old DC-3s for that purpose back then.

However, when it got up to about a 45 degree angle it stopped. I thought that that's odd.

After a few seconds it shot off to the north making a 90 degree angle and man it was fast.

It disappeared almost immediately. I've never forgotten this and ever since I've been a true believer in something out there.

7 Bright Orange Lights Hovering Over Grand Junction Colorado

Date:  October 10, 2014
Time:  Evening.

Hello, my farther, mother, my child, and I just observed 7 bright orange lights hovering over the north west side of the town of Grand Junction, Colorado.

They just appeared, moved around a little and then quickly headed north and disappeared. They were really bright, brighter than the moon which came up within seconds after they disappeared.

Wondering if anyone else reported seeing them. Thank you.

Loud Booming Sounds And Bright Flashes In A Clear Sky Experienced 17 Miles East Of Grand Marais Minnesota

Date:  Mid July of 2006
Time:  Approx: 2:00 a.m.

My "light" experience occurred the middle of July of 2006.  My family was staying at my in-laws cabin (which is 17 miles east of Grand Marais, Minnesota) as we did every summer.

My husband, at that time, and I were both teachers in Texas and we stayed at the cabin every summer or camped on the site even before it was built. It is in a very remote area and heavily wooded.

One night, I woke up in a start. I actually thought to myself, "Ok, why am I awake?" I listened for kids and critters, but heard nothing. The bed was up against a west facing window and the other window was on the adjacent wall facing south. 

I was just laying there looking at the ceiling and “boom”! There was a flash of light in the window, like a flash from a 1930's camera right in your face.

I thought, "what the heck was that?" It happened 3 more times, but each time it was moving more and more behind the house.

It came from way up high because when it happened behind the house, I could see it was lighting up the tops of very tall trees. It wasn't a helicopter because the light didn't trail.

It just popped! It wasn't lightning because it made no sound and was making specific movements around the cabin. 

It wasn't car headlights. I've stayed there for 10 years and had never had this happen.

Plus the main road is at least 40 wooded yards in front of the house and behind the house there are no roads at all because it's a heavily wooded state park. 

I woke up my husband and told him to watch the windows. We sat there for a few minutes and then, “boom”! Right in the window above the bed He yelled, "what the heck was that?" We waited a few more minutes and it didn't happen again. 

When we got some courage, we went upstairs to the main floor. It was almost 2:00 a.m. We went out on the deck and it was a beautiful night, not a cloud in the sky.

I can't express enough how bright the light was, blinding.

Don't have a clue what it could have been. Very weird.

Orange Lights In The Sky Baffle Witness In Grand Junction Colorado

Time:  Evening.

Brian, we live in Grand Junction, Colorado and received a call from a family member that he was seeing what he thought may be meteor, missiles or UFOs over the southwestern sky.

I ran outside to take a look myself and there they were 3 lights which appeared to be orange in color and did not seem to move much in any direction, some time circular and sometimes like a line. 

They also appeared to get dimmer and brighter and almost disappear and reappear, as we were watching them we seen another light scream across the sky from the north leaving a trail headed in the same direction of the other 3, which after a while disappeared. 

As we stood there pondering what they could be, another object came out of the southern sky headed in the same southwest direction of the other 3. What are these lights?

Orange Lights Seen In The Sky Over Grand Sands Cincinnati Ohio

Time:  Evening.

I saw these orange lights as well on Sunday August 19th, 2012. I was at Grand Sands volleyball (the old 84 lumber building)

At first I thought the lights were hot air balloons, because the light seemed to twinkle the way a fire would, but then I realized that the lights were moving way too fast, and the course appeared to be different than what a normal hot air balloon would take.

5 Orange Colored Lights In The Sky Above Grand Blanc Michigan

Date:  July 28, 2012
Time:  Approx: 11:30 p.m.

On the evening of July 28th, 2012 around 11:30 p.m. my wife and I had just gotten dropped off at our hotel just off of 475 in Grand Blanc by some friends that lived locally. 

We went to our truck to get our gear together for the "Warrior Dash" we were running the next morning. My wife drew my attention to the sky just south of our hotel where there were 4 round orange lights floating in a pattern that looked like an "L" laying on it's back with 3 in a row along the bottom and one above the lower one on the far right. 

The objects moved east to west together slowly, then they all moved "higher" in the sky and hovered there for about 30 seconds or so, then started moving westward again. 

Shortly after they started moving westward for the second time the two on the far right just faded into darkness and disappeared. Then the one that was in the middle of the lower three did the same thing (i.e. disappeared) and then finally the last one was also gone. 

We were just starting to discuss how "weird" this all was when a 5th orange sphere appeared just to the east of where the original 4 were.  This 5th "orange ball" moved slowly westward again, then proceeded to elevate as it moved (basically moving diagonally up and west from the horizon line) and then it faded and disappeared as well. 

We were in the same general area as an airport, but we were outside and there was absolutely no sound (plane, helicopter, etc.) from the objects and they did not move in any "normal" pattern/direction.

Not sure what the heck these things were, but wanted to share in case anyone else saw them or had an explanation.

Craft With Orange Lights Seen Over Grand Rapids Michigan

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Heading east to west an aircraft with orange lights. The orange lights were running around the aircraft, and a white light in the center. It flew smoothly across the sky, at almost airline/aircraft height, then move sideward for about two seconds.

It then moved quickly higher, orange lights went out and you could see the white light quickly disappear.

Bright Orange Ball Of Light And White Object Seen In The Sky Over Grand Gorge New York

 

Date:  July 12, 2012 and July 14,2012

Time:  Evenings.

 

Hi Brian, we went on line after the sighting we had on Thursday, July 12, 2012 at 10:10 and sure enough there were reports of the same. We live in Grand Gorge, New York in the Catskills and have a great uninterrupted view of the sky off our deck.

 

We were star gazing (I was talking) and my husband saw first a shooting star, then his jaw dropped and he could not get any words out.

 

I was facing him, he was looking up at the sky towards the north. Then he stuttered after about 4 seconds, "you would not believe what I just saw!" He proceeded to tell me about a bright orange ball about the size of a large softball that just appeared in the sky, not from the left or right or up or down, just appeared.

 

It stayed for about 3 seconds, then got smaller and smaller and disappeared.

 

Last night, July 14,2012, about the same time, in the same place, we saw a burst of white light, about the same size as a softball and it just went away.

 

We both believe in these phenomenon as real, but what exactly are they. My sister was abducted in her teens, while standing in front of a window and had burn marks all over her body.

 

She was older than I, and I knew nothing about this until later in life. Her life has been hell since and the whole situation is very troubling for me and her still. Please let us know what you feel about these things.

Red Lights In The Sky Traveling From Grand River Going West Towards Farmington Hills Michigan

 

Date: May 13, 2012

Time: 11:00 p.m.

 

I have attached the picture I took. I only captured two of them because I was shaking with excitement.

 

I'm driving down Grand River going west towards Farmington Hills when I look up and I see 3 red lights hovering horizontally. At first I thought maybe it was another planet alignment, but I noticed they were moving very slowly individually not as one unit.

 

So I pulled over and took a picture, I tried to turn off the flash, but I was shaking too much from excitement so I just took the picture. As soon as I took the picture they went from horizontal alignment to vertical alignment very slowly.

 

I called my son to tell him to go outside and look right now, but as I was talking to him the bottom one disappeared then the middle and then the top one. No smoke no noise no nothing.

 

These are not airplanes because airplanes or helicopters cause they don't hover without a lot of noise. These were silent. There were no blinking lights or anything else that a traditionally known aircraft would have. I called the police to see if anyone else noticed this.

Object Changes Color To Bright Lime Green Seen 30 Miles North Of Grand Rapids Michigan (Fireball/Meteor)

30 miles north of Grand Rapids, MI, I saw this. I Googled for some information. There was nothing on the local news stations. It was huge, like a bright headlight on the road.

 

As it got lower, it turned bright lime green. It was so big looking and I was waiting for impact! A perk for being up early for work!

White Fireball With A Tail Seen Over Grand Junction Colorado

August 14, 2008 at approximately 1:20 p.m. Grand Junction CO. Driving my car west on E Rd. I saw this white fireball with a tail that looked silver/white come over my vehicle from the southeast very fast. I only saw it for about 4 seconds.

 

It was so awesome to see! I did embark out to the approximate location I thought it had fallen, and searched around a bit, but nothing.

Glowing Orange Ball Seen From Grand Island New York

Date: August 1999

Time: Evening.

Hello Brian, My wife and I saw a (glowing - hard to describe) orange ball heading north in the direction of Lake Ontario around 1999. We were in our back yard and it was a clear calm August night.

The object did not make any sound whatsoever and it appeared somewhat low in the sky maybe, 500 - 1000 feet. It moved at a moderate rate (slightly faster than the speed of a commercial aircraft) from south beyond the view of the roof of our home to within sight, directly overhead then north until over the horizon. The entire incident lasted probably 1-2 minutes.

I was somewhat aware of the reports of orbs that were being seen over Lake Ontario at the time and that is what led me to believe that may have been where the object was heading. We both remember it well and both are 100% certain it was not a plane or meteor or balloon or any other typical object you could mistake for a ball of light.

This object was moving at a fixed altitude and rate of speed and was not like anything I have ever seen before or since. I have seen videos of other sightings of orange orbs that look somewhat like what we saw, however, the object we saw was much clearer than anything I have seen in any video!

I attest that this is a true account of what we saw and I would be willing to take a lie detector test to prove it! I only wish I would have had a video recorder to capture the object for this was truly a remarkable event.

Unknown Bright Yellow And White Lights Over Grand Rapids Michigan

We also witnessed 2 very bright lights that moved quickly in any given direction. Also it seemed like there were several smaller lights moving all around it and coming back to the big one. The lights were mostly bright white and yellow with occasional other colors were red and violet. They both stayed in the sky until dawn even after all the stars had disappeared.

Grand Rapids, Michigan A Disc Shaped UFO

Full Description of event/sighting: My friend and I were on my porch talking. I glanced over towards the east and saw what I thought was a plane, then I noticed two others. As I returned my gaze to my friend, I noticed that they were flying in formation, the middle one at point and two others on either side. They were cruising along at exactly the same speed as one another. I pointed them out to my friend and we watched them approach, thinking it odd for planes to fly like that. It's not uncommon to see small planes on a flight path that takes them over my house. We also noticed that the lights were pulsing, not blinking. The lights were, as I mentioned, red, which is also unusual because there was a whole bank of them in the front and they curved in a half circle at the front of the craft. As they approached, we discerned that they were about as big as a small Cessna, but traveling quite low. As they passed over head, we directly underneath and saw that it was flat on the bottom, so they were shaped like a puck. We also realized as they glided overhead that they didn't make any noise. We watched them until they disappeared over the western horizon.

North Of Grand Rapids, Michigan Huge Ball Fades

Full Description of event/sighting: Taking my dog out I saw an object like a satellite heading from the western sky northeast, I thought it was a satellite. Suddenly it becomes a huge ball of light then turned very faint, it then changed direction 90 degrees heading northwest and faded slowly becoming very dim. It disappeared. I went in to get my binoculars and scanning the sky to the west, slightly northwest of me was a stationary star like object that blinked red, blue, white green. Even with the naked eye you could see it blinking. I watching it about 10 minutes then went inside because of the mosquito's.

I live just north of Grand Rapids Michigan.
