Orange Light Moving Slowly Across The Sky Over Berkeley California

Jogging through Berkeley at 9:30 p.m. last night I saw a orange light moving slowly across the upper atmosphere.

I thought it must be plane, but several students stopped on the street to wonder about it also.

We considered satellites and comets. It stayed in the sky for about two minutes.

Bright Glowing Light Shot Across The Sky Over Central California

Time:  Approx: 2:00 a.m.

OK this is weird, I am located in Central California. Last night around 2:00 a.m. Pacific time.

I just finished working out in the garage gym and took my dog outside for a little bit.

I was starring at the moon because it was kind of gloomy. I was facing the northwest.

Out of know where a whitish orb looking thing came flying at a ridiculous speed in a straight line across the sky.

It flew in an almost parallel to the ground and in a direction from north to south. It was going so fast. It was not a meteor or asteroid, I’ve seen those plenty times. It made no noise what so ever.

It had a small trail behind it like a plane, but the trail appeared a split second then a second later then it was gone. I have never seen anything in my life that flew that fast I mean 100's of miles distance in fraction of a second.

What got me was it’s trajectory. It was almost laser like a straight line at an amazing speed. The glow was like a brighter looking star, but bright pure white and, like I said it left a small trail that also disappeared rapidly.

Just like I have seen on UFO documentaries in the past. After it disappeared I noticed a plane off in the distance with blinking lights as usual, going in a similar direction, but appeared super slow and left a regular vapor trail.

It was a very cold night last night maybe around 25 degrees F. I have never seen a UFO before, I have always looked at the skies and seen many planes that look like UFO's until you see the blinking lights.

But this was nothing like it not even close. Amazing I’m still getting Goosebumps. It was fast.

Large Bright Light Zooms Across The Sky Over Sacramento California

Time:  Approx: 1:00 a.m.

My name is (name removed) and I was getting off work around 1:00 a.m. and was headed west on highway 50 Sacramento, California towards highway 80 when all of a sudden I seen a big ball of light.

It looked like a big led light, that's how bright it was. It was traveling so fast it looked like it was going to hit the Sacramento River, and all of a sudden it disappeared.

I don't know what to make of it, but wow amazing.

Bright Object Lights Up The Entire Area And Shoots Across The Sky Over Spokane Washington

At about 6:30 a.m. I was out scraping the windshield of my vehicle when all of a sudden it became extremely bright.

I looked behind me and there was nothing there. 

I then looked up and saw a light shooting through the sky toward the south. It shot out of sight in only a couple of seconds. I have never seen anything move that fast.

Bright Light Streaks Across The Sky Over Mohegan Lake New York

Hi, my husband and I saw a bright light streak across the sky in Mohegan Lake, NY (this is about 40 miles north of NYC) on January 5, 2013 at about 6:50 p.m. 

It was traveling rom east to west. We thought it was a shooting star. Never saw anything like it before.

Bright Green Light Flashed Across The Sky Over Jersey Virginia

I saw a light flash almost two seconds from north to south. It was green by my eyes, like a meter or something.

As this large object got as bright as a flare, then in a flash it was out gone, it simply vanished. Seems like it was way over South Jersey in Virginia. Very Cool sight.

Two Orange Lights Traveling Across The Sky Over Fairfield New Jersey

Hey what's up man. Me and my 2 friends were smoking a cigarette outside of his house in Fairfield, New Jersey around 12:00 a.m. – 1:00 a.m. and we saw two orange lights traveling across the sky.

Red Light Floating Across The Sky Over Pennsylvania

Time:  Evening.

I live in Pennsylvania and on my way home from work I kept seeing a red ball of fire it was floating very quickly across the sky, not falling in any downward type motion just going straight across the sky.

It made me pull over because I had to watch it. I couldn't believe that no one else could see it. Eventually it went out maybe, disappeared?

I'm still in the parking lot pulled over and I looked it up and saw that maybe it could be a Chinese lantern according to the web, but how would a Chinese lantern scale it so long on a rainy foggy night

Blue Light Speeds Across The Sky Over Morgan Hill California

I saw the same blue light today too around 5:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. along 101-N near Morgan Hill area.

It was heading toward NW in fast speed. At first, I thought it was comet, but I did not see a tail either.

Huge Green Fireball Streaked Across The Sky Over North Mississippi

Time:  Approx: 6:00 a.m.

I was driving north on I-55 from north Miss. heading to Memphis TN around 6:00 a.m. on October 30, 2012 when a huge green fireball streaked across my windshield. I kept waiting for an explosion, but I never heard anything.

It looked like it broke into one big piece and two smaller pieces, it was one of the most amazing things I've ever see. I wish I could've gotten a picture of it but it was moving to fast.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who saw it, I think my husband thought I had been drinking or smoking something when I got home and told him about it yesterday.

8 Orange Colored Lights Move Across The Sky Over Watson Louisiana

Date:  October 20, 2012
Time:  Just after dark.

Arrived home just after dark on October 20, 2012 in Watson Louisiana and saw 8 orange lights move from south too north appearing only one or two at a time.

Seemed as when one would move towards the north, and flicker out and disappear.

Another would come into view from the south in about the same spot as the others. No noise, no airplane strobes. Very very strange. Not a big UFO believer, but cannot explain what they were.

Was unlike anything I have ever seen before. I am a 34 year old aviation enthusiast and am very familiar with commercial and private aircraft. Glad too hear other people have seen these orange lights.

Will check back at this page too see if there ever was a logical explanation for what we are seeing.

Triangle Possibly A Mile Across Seen Flying Over Gravette Benton County Arkansas

Time:  Approx: 9:20 p.m.

My mother and I were on the back deck last Monday, 10/01/12, smoking a cigarette, when I noticed three white dots in the sky that formed a perfect triangle.

At first I thought it must be a plane from XNA, but very quickly realized it was no plane.

The object seemed to be very high up, yet it had to have been a mile across, no joke.

There was not a bit of sound from it. It occurred at around 9:20 p.m. or so. I have never put mush thought into UFO's as to if they are real or not, but last week I would have said I don't believe in them, but now I strongly do.

Nothing of this Earth could fly that way, nor be a fraction of the size this object was. I have searched the net trying to find others who had seen what we did last Monday, but no luck so far.

Fireball Travels Across The Sky Over West Los Angeles California

Brian, I live in West Los Angeles and saw it at 8:30 p.m., while it was still very light outside. It was definitely a meteor of considerable size streaking directly north over Los Angeles. 

Have never seen anything like it, was not a shooting star (have been an outdoorsman all my life and have seen tens of thousands), or a craft of any kind (I grew up on Air Force bases), it was fireball. 

Awesome. Really strange however, that I don’t see it reported anywhere.

"Small, fast, bright, silent UFO streaks across Rockford sky at super speed, disappears into cloud.

My little sister and I were spending some time relaxing and talking with a group of friends on the driveway of a buddy's house. We were all sitting around talking, listening to music enjoying a chilly evening like we usually do.

 

We often sit on this driveway just to enjoy the outside air, and to lay on our backs and look at the stars at night. We look for meteors and interestingly shaped clouds and such because we all tend to have a pretty decent respect for the beauty of nature and planet earth.

 

Some of us are artists or musicians, while others are simply just free spirits with open minds.

Around 11:00 p.m. central time, we were all still gathered in conversation and laughter when my sister said she saw the most beautifully bright shooting star, and we all moaned for we had missed it. She said that she had never quite seen anything like that before, which got me thinking, was it an extraterrestrial vehicle?

 

I began to meditate deeply as I do everyday, except I was trying very hard to visualize what she had seen. Before long I could feel something very different and began to see the most beautiful shapes and geometry in the backs of my eyes.

It was then around 11:20 p.m. that we were all somewhat quiet and the music had stopped when a large, bright, amber in color, and extremely fast light shot out from far behind a tree in the front yard and sped in a very oblong arc across the sky first going higher and then lower again and disappeared into a cloud.

 

When it first appeared I stood up from the ground very quickly shouting "Whoa!", trying to get a better look at it because it was moving very fast, and I didn’t want to loose sight of it.

My sister then saw it too from my reaction and direction of gaze. It looked to be about seven to eight-hundred feet high, the arc of travel spanned a local angle of approximately thirty to forty degrees, lasting somewhere between 3 to 5 seconds.

 

It was maybe 3 to 4 times the size of a star, 10 to 15 times brighter than any star in the sky, and about one tenth to one eighth the size of the moon. It made absolutely no noise whatsoever, and as it disappeared into a relatively dark and un-viewable cloud above the horizon it seemed to make the tiniest "hole" or impression where it had gone in.

 

I knew right away that it was too bright, lasted too long and far too low to be a meteor. I estimate that it was traveling somewhere around eight or nine thousand miles per hour, and the intensity of the light never faded save for with distance and cloud interference."

Green Fireball Shoots Across The Sky And Seen From Goodyear Arizona

I live in Goodyear, Arizona and I was in my kitchen hosting a New Years Party and out my kitchen window I saw a green fire ball shooting across the sky. We live by Luke Air Force base and by the time I was rationalizing what it was, it was gone.

 

My daughter told me about it this morning and I told her "I saw that!"

Meteor Shoots Across The Sky Over Bay Area California

Time:  Approx: 11:55 p.m.

 

We saw it too, in the CA Bay Area, flying across the sky and burning out above the horizon. Huge and definitely a meteor, that is, a shooting star. When shooting stars pass close to the earth and through our atmosphere, they look huge (they probably are pretty big!).

 

And shooting stars are common, which is why it's not really news, you can see one or two pretty much any time you look at a night sky for longer than a few minutes, even when there isn't a big meteor shower going on.

 

When you think how far away those are, it's not surprising that when one shoots close by us, it looks huge. It was very cool to see it.

Lights Making Zig Zag Patterns Across The Sky Above Draper Utah

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was just waking up looking out my window and I noticed a bright light streak across the sky. I woke my girl friend up to tell her, as she was slowly waking up.

 

I saw the same light and then a smaller one following it. This time the lights must have been traveling very, very fast. About 5 minutes later I saw a smaller light moving in a zig zag pattern upward.

 

I am pretty darn sure we don’t have technology like that.
