7 Orange Objects/Lights Seen Flying Over Spokane Washington

Date:  December 24, 2014
Time:  Evening.

I came across this website to see if there was anything online to support what I witnessed. On December, 24 2014, I also saw about 7 objects moving slow (compared to other objects that might move in the sky) that were orange in color.

They also vanished off in the distance. They did not travel together and there was probably a 30 second to 1 minute break before the last 1 - 2 passed through. I went outside to see if I could hear any sounds coming from them and heard nothing.

It looked as if they were hovering and gliding at the same time. Very odd, and I do not believe in UFOs and am not one to perpetuate mysteries or unusual sightings to stir ones imagine or support others who may believe or wish to do the same. Their direction was southeast .

Delta Airlines Personal Observes Red/Orange Light Over Hillyard Spokane Washington

Time:  Evening.

Hey, I just found this website and after what I saw tonight, I started searching to see if others have seen what I saw and after I saw this page, it looks like I have, but in a smaller scale.

Little bit about me, I've worked for Delta Airlines for a year. I defiantly know what a aircraft looks like in the dark and this was not it.

I saw it from Hillyard in Spokane, Washington and it started up high in the sky and my dog was going nuts.

As it caught my eye, it started out as this red or orange light, then as it dropped it picked up speed and got big, which I then realized because it was so close I thought it was going to crash into the ground, and then it just stopped right beyond my sight then popped back up barely back into view then disappeared.

I've been a believer my whole life, but never seen anything to truly get my attention. I'm shocked now and can tell you something weird is in the sky.

Lights In The Sky Above North Spokane Washington

Pulsating Bright Blue To Orange Lights Over Spokane Washington

I saw this also! Only my experience was a bit different. It was 3:00 a.m. and I went out on my porch to smoke.

I looked up and a bright light caught my eye.

It was stationary and pulsating bright blue to orange lights. I stayed out there for a good thirty minutes. I then decided to go in and grab my phone, but when I got back outside, I couldn't see it anywhere. It completely vanished.

Witness Observes Orange Colored Objects/Lights In The Sky From Spokane Washington

Time:  Approx; 9:00 p.m.

I'm from Spokane, and last night I observed the same thing described in this article http://unitedstatesufo.blogspot.com/2013/02/25-to-30-orange-balls-of-light-lit-up.html

It was about 9:00 p.m. on February 16th, 2013 and as I was walking into my house I noticed 10 or 15 bright orange lights up in the sky. 4 or 5 of them were in a V shaped formation, and there was another formation that resembled more of a square.

At first I thought I was looking at stars in a constellation, but eventually single lights started to break out of formation, and appeared to float up into the cloud layer, where they were no longer visible.

Each glowing light in turn broke away from the formation and floated out of view until I could no longer see any.

It was a very bizarre to say the least. My first thought was they were some kind of military flare, as they were spotted in the direction of Fair Child Air Force Base.

However, the balls of light appeared to coordinate in formation.

I've noticed a similar report from Bellingham WA, that described a similar formation of lights 3 hours earlier. That might imply that whatever it is traveled from Bellingham to Spokane.

25 To 30 Orange Balls Of Light Lit Up In The Sky Over Spokane Washington

Time:  Evening.

We saw orange balls of light rising from the ground over Spokane, Washington.

It was around 9:00 p.m. on 2/16/13. It was very weird. I’m a Surveyor so I can judge distances pretty good.

I walked out of the house and I saw approximately 7-10 orange balls lit up in the sky.

They were evenly spaced out in a curve.

They were moving up in the sky and then they were lost in the clouds, but they kept coming up so as we lost sight of one, another would rise.

I estimate that we saw at least 25-30 over a five minute period. What was really weird is there spacing. They all looked to be hundreds of feet apart, but they same distance from each other in a near perfect curve?

We are just north of down town Spokane. The lights were coming from the direction of the Spokane airport or Fairchild AFB?

We did take a video, but you can only see small dots as a plane fly’s by the lights.

Possible Shafts Of Light In The Sky At Spokane Washington

This is very interesting. My family and I experienced this exact phenomenon tonight, January 13, 2013 in Spokane, Washington.

We were at a loss as to what the cause could be.

We initially thought they were search lights or contrails from passing aircraft, but due to color and the straightness of the beams, the ice column explanation makes perfect sense.

At about 6:30 a.m. I was out scraping the windshield of my vehicle when all of a sudden it became extremely bright.

I looked behind me and there was nothing there. 

I then looked up and saw a light shooting through the sky toward the south. It shot out of sight in only a couple of seconds. I have never seen anything move that fast.

Bright Light Hovering Over Spokane Washington

I looked out my window and I noticed a really bright light just hovering in one spot. It seemed like a super giant star up in the sky. The light was super bright but it didn't seem to have a glow around it either.

I felt like it was looking right at me. Right when I told my friend on the phone that i was going to take a picture it seemed to all of a sudden back up and the light went dim.

I could not even get it in view on my camera, then it seemed to turn and jerk twice before it disappeared. I have never seen anything like it.

Orange Balls Of Light In The Sky Over Spokane Washington

Time:  After dusk.

My apartment overlooks Spokane and I can see Mt. Spokane very nicely to the east. It was a little bit past dusk and dark enough to enjoy the lights of Spokane.

My friend and I were looking at the great view when we started to see orange balls of light rising from the ground all heading upward.

As they were rising they were fanning out. They were not moving very fast, but I would say they were traveling faster than a helicopter.

We watched this go on for a good 5 minutes. I grabbed my binoculars and tried to focus in. It still only appeared to be a orange ball. I did not see any flashing lights that you would see on an aircraft.

In the 5 minutes we watched and figured to have seen 40-50 of these orange lights. As they slowly moved upward they slowly disappeared. We did not hear any noise at all.

As the crow flies we are about 10-12 miles from Mt Spokane. Nothing was ever heard on the local news either.

I know that the Air Force has a Survival Training School up there somewhere. I was in the Army and it wasn't flares that we saw. It was Oct. 21st 2012 when we saw the lights.

Flickering Yellow/Orange Like A Flame Object Seen Over Spokane Washington

Your description largely describes what I and three other people saw last night only from the east coast. It appeared to be flickering like a flame and was yellow/orange in color.

It passed around 9:15 p.m. and then made a second round around 10:36 p.m.

We waited to see if it would pass again but it did not. It seemed to be going in a straight line but I have not seen anything like that orbiting before.

Blinded By A Bright Blue Light In The Sky Over Spokane Washington

I didn't see what you described, but I definitely saw something. I am also located in Spokane. Driving home and all of a sudden I was blinded by a really bright blue light in the sky.

This thing filled the whole eastern horizon.

It almost looked like a transformer blowing, but this was way bigger! It lasted about 7-10 seconds.

After the light, the sky then turned reddish for a few minutes. It is now almost 6:00 a.m. and the skies are really dark/black.

Red/Yellow Burning Object Seen Flying Over Spokane Washington

Full Description of Event/Sighting: An intense red/yellow burning object appeared at high elevation 90% and descended very fast north by northeast probably 10 miles away.

It then vaporized about 1 mile up. The object seemed to be manmade as I'm sure it was not a meteor. I've seen airplane panels descending before, only this was really moving.

7 Bright Orange Lights Seen Over Spokane Washington

Time:  Approx: 9:00 p.m.

Tonight I saw the strangest thing, which made me do some research online to see if anyone else experienced. I definitely saw 7 bright orange orbs with a transparent like haze around them. 

Started off by seeing one, my mother pulled over to take a look, the next thing we knew 6 more appeared in the sky. Lingered stationary for several minutes, and just like that were gone. They were very big, and definitely not like flares or fireworks, they stayed the exact same brightness as well as position the entire time, and just like that were gone. 

I am so hoping that others report seeing this as I know I couldn't have been the only one there were too many and too bright. This was over a residential neighborhood, east of the air force base, close to the airport. 

Please let me know if anyone else contacts you with this sighting. Please, we did snap pictures, but nothing came up on them except a very fuzzy orange dot, they were definitely bigger than what you can barely see in the photograph.

Bright Orange Glow In The Sky Over Spokane Washington

Saw this same thing on July 24, 2012 just before midnight in Spokane, WA.

Bright orange glow appeared in sky to the northeast. Appeared to be traveling at a high rate of speed then slowed down and continued to the southwest at the slower rate of speed.

The light appeared to go out, but was still able to see whatever it was before losing site of it on the horizon. Thought it may be a high flying military plane catching the sun as it shines through the atmosphere at an extreme angle.

Spokane Valley, Washington Two Flying Saucers Swoop Down

Time: Late afternoon.

On Oct 14, 2008 (late afternoon) I saw what looked like two flying saucers in the Spokane Valley in Wa state.

 I searched the net to see in anyone had seen anything that day and I came across this link

The place that I saw the two saucers was very near Liberty Lake. I was sitting on a deck with my friend and I was looking at the small mountains that are on the South side of Spokane Valley about Sullivan and 2nd.

I was just enjoying the view and talking with my friend. Then what looked like two flying saucers swooped in just over the tree tops at the base of the mountain in the distance. I kept trying to get my eyes to focus them into small private planes but they were not.

Then they both stopped in mid air and stayed there for about a second. Then one did a loop around the other one and flew away and the other followed it just a little behind it.

They then disappeared after flying just a little ways up in the sky. This whole thing took about 1.5 seconds. The speed of these two UFOs was extremely fast.

At least 100 miles an hour. It was broad daylight and I'm sure I could not have seen them if they weren't up against the green background of the small mountains.

 It was so fast and the only reason I saw it was because i just happened to be looking at the base of the small mountains right where they had appeared.

They clearly moved in such a way that they had superior technology to anything I've ever seen.

I have sent a picture of Google map to show the location. Sorry no pictures of the saucers.

Spokane, Washington Two Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs)

Shape of objects: Dots.

Full Description of event/sighting: *Two Unidentified Flying Objects Seen Flying Together, One Red and the Other White*

My co-worker and I were surveying not too far from I-90 near Liberty lake WA (Spokane metro area) and after admiring the moon I suddenly noticed a bright star looking object flickering from dim to very bright white in an in-consistent fashion at the 11 o'clock position about half a fingers length from the moon. I had thought to myself that there is no way you would see a star at 10:10 a.m. PDST. The object started to move east and west little bits at a time making right angle turns to the north and south. the object then darted across the sky what seemed at least 100 miles then stopping instantly remaining stationary for some 15 minutes while moving at a slower rate but making right angle turns every few seconds.

We continued working while it remained in the sky when I noticed it disappeared the re-appeared near the moon again 2 seconds later. This time I noticed the intense bright white object was joined with a second bright red object looking to be the same size. They seemed to "play" with each other for at least 25 minutes making more right angle turns at incredible rates of speed in the western half of the sky darting from the north to south side.

I could not really make out what size the UFO's were, all I can really say is it appeared to be two bright dots similar to stars in the sky. I am an experienced pilot who flew for many years since I was a child then flying for Forestry for the British Columbia Gov't and I have to say this was by no means any type of conventional aircraft that the public knows. Anyone else seeing anything in the Northwest lately? The thought of the military crossed my mind testing unconventional aircraft/spacecraft such as the T3B reverse-engineered from ET Technology, but who knows right.
