Watching 3 Red Lights In The Sky Over Cleveland Ohio

Date:  January 10, 2013
Time:  Evening.

I am looking at 3 red lights over Cleveland, Ohio. I am looking from the south to the north.

One bright red light and 2 smaller red lights.

I have never noticed this before and I am always looking in the sky. I could not see any more, for my view is obstructed.

I signaled the lights to get a reaction with a flashlight that the police use, with a very bright strobe. No reaction.

Flash Of Light – Rectangular UFO And Bright Red Light Falls Out Of The Sky Over Cleveland Tennessee

Date:  December 26, 2012 and December 27, 2012
Time:  6:30 p.m.

I do not live in Atkins, VA. I live a little more than 3 hours away in Cleveland, Tennessee.

Last night I was woken by a flash of light around same time, but I thought it was lightening and I did not hear thunder. My window faces west.

Also last night 12/26/2012 at 6:30 p.m. went out on front deck to watch our first snow flurries, I was so excited, but it didn’t add up to nothing, darn.

When I turned to go back in was facing SW over mountains, I saw a bright red light falling almost straight down, but slightly to the SE.

The decent was not fast, it took about 55 seconds until it fell out of my view. There was no trail, object was not distorted or fuzzy, very clear and large I drew circles on a piece of paper to try to measure how large it appeared which is about 1.5 inches in diameter.

I could not determine how far away it was. Later after I cooked dinner and my boyfriend and I finished eating, I took him out to show him where I had seen the object. My boyfriend and I commented on how much darker it was that way.

There was a rectangular object about size of football field in sky and down toward horizon. My boyfriend said it was just darker clouds, but it was in exact rectangle with definite edges. Last night creeped me out.

For the first time ever I wrote a report to MUFON over internet. I will never do that again, somehow my report showed up on different websites, made me upset.

One thing I just thought of, the witness in Atkins saw flash on morning of 12/26/2012, mine would have actually been morning of 12/27/2012. Did witness account for the time or was it really witnessed more than 24 hrs. ago? Just curious. Thank you.

Green Light Lit Up The Sky Over Cleveland Texas

Date:  Week of 9th to the 17th, 2012
Time:  Around 7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

I didn't see a UFO or anything, but I was outside and a green light lit up the sky. It only did it once, but it is crazy because I thought it was lighting, but then I don't recall seeing bright green lighting like that.

The clouds were low, so you couldn't see anything, but the light. I thought it was weird and went on about getting stuff out of my car. I didn't know other people have seen the same things though.

Additional Information:

I know it was this last week. About 7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. I didn't think to write it down or take notes. It's all mental notes. I will from now on though. It was really weird not far away either.

Relatively close but from the sky. I do live near a small airport, but there was no sounds just lights.

About 50 Red Lights Spotted Over Cleveland Ohio

 

Date:  March 25, 2012

Time:  Approx: 8:45 p.m.

 

My roommate had been walking one of the dogs around 8:45 p.m. He had come back inside to pull my son outside to check out the red lights in the sky. Being curious, I also stepped outside to see around thirty red lights flying over the tree line.

 

There was no particular formation to them, but a smaller group of them did appear to make a triangular shape for a few minutes then spread out again.

 

My roommate walked down the street and said there was approximately 50 lights.

 

I called the local police department, who then directed me to the sheriffs department. I was again directed to Cleveland Hopkins Airport head of FFA security.

 

I was told they have no record of any type of military training exercise going on and was then disregarded as if my phone call was a prank of some sort.

 

These lights headed south and then just disappeared. I am curious to know what this was. I live close to three airports, two of which are used for military training. I have seen the bombers fly during the day, so close to the ground as a matter of fact that it seems like you can reach up and touch them, but I have never seen anything like this.

 

I am interested in finding out why some people saw only a few lights, but where I live, many people saw the same thirty to fifty lights.

 

I will look into seeing if anyone recorded this phenomenon and post the video, if possible.

V Shaped UFO With Multi Colored Lights Spotted Over Cleveland Texas

 

Date:  March 23, 2012

Time:  8:00 p.m. or 9:00 p.m.

 

Shape of Objects: V shaped.

 

Full Description of Event/Sighting: On March 23, 2012, I was on my way home from Dayton Texas, when I spotted what looked like two airplanes in the sky. As I approached my left turn towards home, one of the air crafts seemed to be on a normal route in the night sky.

 

The other one however, seem to be getting bigger as I got closer which meant to me that this one was not moving in any direction, it looked like a V in the sky with weird lights.

 

Furthermore the lights on this whatever it was, were multi-colored and they seemed to be chasing each other towards the middle of the V shaped craft. By this point I was stopped on the side of bridge on a new stretch of highway in Cleveland Texas.

 

I was pretty shaken, but excited and decided to go home. If it was what I think I saw, then my only concern would I hope that they mean us, ( human kind) no harm.

Orange Objects Rose Quickly From The Ground Over Cleveland Ohio

 

Date:  October 22, 2011

Time:  Evening.

 

I just saw the same exact thing happen twice within five minutes while sitting in my backyard.

 

We were near Cleveland, OH. A large, dark orange plume rose quickly from the ground about fifteen to twenty miles away, by my estimation. The outer layer of the object seemed to dissipate, while its core hovered from left to right in the sky for minutes.

 

Then, the remaining object shot quickly into the sky and soon disappeared into the night sky. First instinct, of course, was to blame fireworks. But the length of time it hovered, coupled with the heights it achieved upon "taking off" made it very strange.

 

By the way, this event occurred twice the same evening, both within the same hour to hour and a half. Apologies for the delayed response. I rarely check this account. I will do so more often, as I'm interested in similar occurrences.

5 To 7 UFOs In V Formation Over Cleveland Ohio

Date: 1957
Time: 9:00 p.m.

Number of witnesses: 1 and KYW radio switchboards lit up.
Number of Objects: Either 5 or 7 in V formation.
Shape of Objects: Round in V formation.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was sitting out in back yard and saw 5 or 7 UFOs in a V formation. There was no noise and I was able to watch the objects for 2 minutes. There was no movement and then the formation of craft went completely out of sight in seconds.

I went inside screaming, and Dad called KYW radio in Cleveland, Ohio and was told their switchboards were lit up with same information from others. We never heard any more about this, but they were there.

Cylinder Of Light Spreads Over Cleveland Ohio (Excellent Diagram)

Date: 1959 or 1960
Time: Evening.

Message: Hi Mr. Vike, I received the Filer Files from the ufomig group. After clicking Filers #4 I scrolled down and came to the article I believe you supplied.

It was the “large cylinder of light seen in Maryland". I had an experience in 1959 or 1960. I lived in a suburb of Cleveland Ohio and was on a double date going to a rock and roll party at an amusement park called Geauga Lake Park.

This is located in North East Ohio in Geauga County. The place was packed and they waved us by.

We went to the end of the road and came back going in a northwestern direction.

When we reach about a quarter of a mile from the entrance, a bright column of light appeared on the south side of the road in an open area of scrub brush and grass.

There was a narrow creek running through the center of the circle of light.

The diameter was about 100 to 150 feet and the height about 400 to 500 feet. You could see the clouds going by where the light shined on them.

There was some static sparks coming off the sides of the column. The night was pitch black and there were no street lights. The edge of the light was 100 to 150 feet away from me.

The two girls that were in the car went crazy with fear, thinking the world was coming to an end. My date wouldn't let me walk over to get under the light. After 20 or so minutes, the light just blinked off.

The Cleveland Press, (local paper) said "hundreds of people seen the Aurora Borealis last night at Geauge Lake Park".

I was there and it certainly was no Aurora sitting a hundred feet from me. I did report this to MUFON, but only 48 or 49 years late.

Is this the first time any one has seen something like this? I've been looking for more sightings as this one but no one seems to know anything about them. Thanks for your time.

Hi Brian, I just listened to your show with Chris, the fellow from Maryland. It seems his light was much, much larger in diameter than the one I saw in '59 or '60. Do you think people will want to here about it even if it's almost 50 years ago?

As I was thinking back, the diameter could have been a little larger than 150 feet, but not a mile like Chris said. Also my sighting lasted for at least 20 minutes or more.

I've had 4 other sighting besides the light. If you like I could tell you about them. The span of sightings covers fifty yrs.

The first was when the Russians sent Sputnik up, I believe that was 1958, and the last sighting was June 30 2007. The light was my 2nd sighting, and lasted the longest.

Hi, Mr. Vike, I Googled the area where I was when I seen the cylinder of light. I also sketched about what I saw.

 I'm not a very good artist, as you can see, it is not to scale. I'm sending this so you can get a good idea of what I'm talking about and what it looked like.

I can still picture the event as though it was yesterday. The owners of the Park closed it down after many years. As you can see, there are a lot of houses around the area. Back then it was nothing but a rural area with not much on Ohio state route 43.

The area with the white circle represents where the cylinder of light was. It was a swampy area back then and still looks to be the same, except for the housing area.

I am waiting for your e-mail to fix a time for your call. I am pretty sure you won't be disappointed.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was looking at the fireworks all around the city from my bedroom window when this very bright and pulsating orange orb came nearly directly over my house heading north toward Lake Erie. I live in old Brooklyn near the zoo on the Westside of Cleveland. It took about a minute for it to fly out of sight.

It looked about at most around 2 feet or so in diameter, it was small, but bright. It made no noise, but was certainly not an aircraft of any type that I know of.

7 Orange Lights Over East Cleveland Ohio

Fiery Glowing Orange Light Over Cleveland/Brookpark Ohio

Date: July 17, 2010
Time: Approx: 9:30 p.m.

First I'd like to say that I am a very normal person and I know what I saw. On July 17, 2010, in the area of Westside Cleveland/Brookpark Ohio, was Saturday night at about 9:30pm. I was on my break at work, smoking outside with 2 other co-workers, we were awaiting a storm in our area and were admiring the sky when we noticed an orange almost fiery glowing light in the sky.

It looked to be towards Lake Erie coming south towards us, just hovering awhile then slowly moving then hovering. It seemed to be moving side to side, then hovering, then it took a big drop down and then hovered again motionless, then shot straight up again slowing and moving south, hovered for a bit and then shot straight up and disappeared. It disappeared going straight up, not down as in falling. This went on for about 3 to 5 minutes.

The orange glowing light was close enough to be seen with the eye and also close enough to tell that it was not a plane or a helicopter. There were no sounds like if a plane or helicopter would make. The light was close enough to make out a shape, but far enough not to be able to see to much detail, like windows and such. There seem to be a square to rectangle bottom, from which the orange glow came from, and a dome, almost peak-ish, like a volcano, top.

Because where I work is a little close to Hopkins airport, when I first noticed the orange glow, I thought an airplane might be on fire, but as it neared us, it was clear to me that it was not a plane of any sort that I have seen. Also, I'd like to add that the orange light was not heading in the direction of the airport either.

Afterwards, trying to compose myself and return back to work, about 20 minutes later, while I was telling my boss what I seen, a customer came into our business and asked if anyone else had seen a orange light in the sky.

He said he had to pull his car over to get a better look and also agrees it was in no way a plane. I did check the news to see if anything was reported, but did not find anything. I read your posting and thought you might be interested. Thank you for your time.

Cylinder Of Light Over Cleveland Ohio

Cylinder light in west shy over Cleveland Ohio. It was constant red then blue the yellow. It stayed in one spot for about 45 min then went straight north behind buildings.
It would go on for a couple min then go out. Weird.

Additional Information:

It was last night, 7/17/10, at about 9:45 pm. This thing would be tall for a bit, then turn diamond shape, when it changed colors. By the time I got to my brothers house with my telescope it was gone. He got it on his video camera. He saw it and called me and I saw it at my shop. It couldn't have been a planet cause it stayed in the exact spot for almost an hour, then moved horizontal to the north. Let me know if anyone else seen it please. My brothers neighbor seen it also.

6 To 7 Orange Lights Over Cleveland Ohio

Full Description of Event/Sighting: First let me say that I really don't believe in alien life forms or alien spacecraft, however last night was very strange. Myself along with my wife, brother and mother-in-law were swimming and having a camp fire in the backyard of a Avon residence, when out of no where 6 to 7 orange lights appeared northeast of our location. The lights where not moving and appeared to be stationary.

They also appeared to be off a long way in the distance and I would have to say at a high altitude. The lights at one point appeared to be in a vertical pattern and seemed to hover for a couple minutes. The lights then just went off. We watched the sky for awhile, but nothing returned. If I had to guess these strange lights were somewhere out over Lake Erie.

At first I thought maybe it was flares being sent up for a boat in distress, however the lights did not appear to ascend nor descend at any time. The objects just appeared and disappeared. I also checked the local law enforcement agencies and Coast Guard however found no other reports.

I've never seen anything like this before and am not sure exactly what it was, but I do have to admit I now wonder about my previous belief that there are no such thing as UFO's. We only had cell phones on us and attempted to take pictures, but it was too far away and too dark.

Glowing Ball Of White Light Falling Over Cleveland Area Ohio

Time: Evening.

Hi, I saw something weird tonight and started searching the web for an explanation and the closest thing I have found matching the description was a description from your website from January 18, 2010 "Ball Of Light Seen Falling From Sky Over Manchester Pennsylvania". To be honest with you, I've always thought of "paranormal people" as people who needed to get more of a social life, but what I saw was not normal. It was like it came from another world.

I'm from Ohio, around the Cleveland area, and I was driving home from the store with my mother and cousins. My mother and me were in the front and we were driving in an area with little lights so we could see the sky clearly. My mother shrieks and points to the sky in front of us and I saw a glowing ball of white light falling from the sky and disappearing behind trees.

The thing is, it wasn't like it was falling, because it was going too slow for that, it was like it was floating down and there was no trail of light following it. It wasn't like it stayed way up in the sky, it was definitely close to the earth. It looked like it hit the ground. The light was in a perfect ball, but it seemed to have depth to it, like it had grooves on it.

If anyone has had a similar experience I would be interested in hearing about it. This is certainly something that will be burned into my brain for the rest of my life.

Cleveland, Ohio Two Objects Just Vanish

Full Description of event/sighting: My son and I had the telescope out. While I was slewing, he said look mom, what's that. Those weren't there before. I looked up to the Southeast sky and there were what appeared to be 2 stars in the sky right next to each other. They were far brighter than Sirus. They just stayed stationary in the sky and then they just disappeared. I have been unable to find anything as far as reports of any astronomical occurrences on June 8th. If anyone has a logical explanation for theses strange lights let me know. I do know they were not from a plane.
