Red Star Seen In The Eastern Sky From Gilbert Arizona

Date:  December 24, 2012
Time:  9:50 p.m.

9:50 p.m. my niece called me to say there is a red star in the eastern sky, Gilbert Arizona. I and four other people looked at what appeared to be a red star, red in color. Nothing like the others.

There was almost full moon out due south. About a minute it lasted going from red to pale red back to red. Then it dimmed and returned to normal then out completely.

If you have seen anything like this in the same area please be kind enough to contact Brian Vike at: sighting@telus.net with the details of your sighting. All personal information is kept confidential.

Also, please feel free to send in your sightings that have happened years ago. So many of these older sightings are nothing short of amazing.

I saw two reddish balls of light last night in Maricopa at around 8:30pm. They seemed to pulse rapidly but never moved until after about 5 mins and then they vanished.
