Last night (December 20, 2012 around 10:30 PT) my father-in-law, my husband and I all witnessed three bright orange (almost flaming) lights moving in-sync.
We saw them for about 2-3 minutes before three other lights appeared with similar color but less intense.
Soon all 6 faded into blue, indistinguishable from any other star. For a moment I thought they were meteors because of the color, but once they faded away, I was just not sure.
