Hi, I went on line to see if any other sightings like this have occurred in this area and want to tell you my husband just saw it from our front lawn, as he went out to smoke a cigarette.
He recorded it on his phone. Even though he said it was a giant orange orb, it only shows as a white object on the phone. You can see an orange core when he blows up the video/picture.

Hi,
On April 9, 2013 at approx. 10:30 pm I saw three large orange UFO shaped balls in a vertical line that appeared pretty close to the ground, I raced home and called my wife to see this and she saw them too. We watched them as they split in different directions and disappeared into the atmposhere. Then a fourth rose veritcally and then wnet all the way into the atmosphere as well. I have never seen anything like this in my life, and I immediately contacted the Madison Heights Police Department. Thye said they had no other calls about this sighting. I am 100% sure that what we saw were UFO's and it was something incredible. What I saw sounds like what you saw on Jan 1, 2013 except we saw more than one.
