5 Orange Glows Over Frankfort Illinois

Hey Brian My name is (name removed). My wife and I saw something in the sky last night. Sounds like something you saw that was very strange. I was sitting in my backyard with my wife about 8:30pm Sunday when I saw 2 orange glows coming right at us.

I thought they were helicopters, but this was not the case. They separated and one came over our house the other faded away, flickered for a while and it traveled north. Then there were 3 gliding through the sky which I can't explain. I live in Frankfort.

Frankfort, Michigan UFO Is Oblong In Shape With Windows

I am sending this in for my friend (name removed)

The sighting was over Frankfort Michigan Tuesday March 3rd, 2009 at approximately 930pm and lasted for about an hour. He saw this same thing about a week before. It was oblong in shape tapered in each end he says it seemed to have 6 windows (through binoculars) red, green, white and blue lights blinked it zig and zagged and hovered. A brighter spot like type light came out of the bottom of it for a short time. He does have it on a digital camera and I have downloaded it to my computer. He doesn't believe in this sort of thing, but says he does now. I am going to let him borrow my video recorder that has an awesome zoom power in it and can be put on a tri-pod if he sees it again.

West Frankfort Illinois Four Lights Arranged Horizontally - UFO (Graphic)

Time: 8:15 p.m.

Location of Sighting: West Frankfort, IL, west of highway 37.
Number of witnesses: 1
Number of objects: 1
Shape of objects: Indistinct.

Full Description of event/sighting: There were four white lights, arranged horizontally, side-by-side on the front of the vehicle.

It flew at about the pace of a casual helicopter at a height of perhaps six to eight average telephone poles, can't be too exact, seeing that my depth perception isn't amazing.

It had one pulsing white light on the bottom, which could not be seen until it appeared to be about two blocks (maybe 300 feet) away.

The shape was rather indistinct, but it appeared to have a fin or protrusion of some sort at perhaps a 60 degree angle from the base.

It was flying almost due south. It made no noticeable noise over the sound of my vehicle (which isn't all that loud, and I have excellent hearing).
