Glowing Amber Oblong Balls Of Light Near Carmel And Zionsville Indiana

Hi Brian, my friend and I had a strange experience last night here in Indy, and when I ‘Googled’ it, I found your sight. We basically saw the same thing that your blog reported in Indy on July 3 and June 25 of 2010. This happened again last night, July 2, 2011.

While sitting out back on my deck at about 9:30 (dusk) on the extreme northwest side of the city, near Carmel and Zionsville,  I noticed what looked like an amber light flying low and faster than a plane from north to south. It appeared to be a glowing oblong ball.

I pointed to it, and my friend and I watched it. It disappeared in the south western sky, but moments later, an identical object appeared at the same level, coming again from the north and moving south quite fast and low. Again, it disappeared in the south western sky. Finally, this happened again for the third time.

I’ve seen planes from the local small airport, but they don’t fly in the same vector or at the same height and they certainly don’t glow amber orange. There was no flicker, just a constant amber orange glowing light with an aura around it. There were no wings or tail visible, just a glowing amber oblong ball type shape.

I’ve seen weather balloons, planes, and helicopters, which we have here often, and this was nothing like that. My friend lived on a military base in Hawaii for years, so she is quite familiar with military aircraft. This did not appear to be a military aircraft at all.

Some popping firecrackers were going off from kids in the area, but it was still too light for fireworks, so it wasn’t related to fireworks either. And fireworks don’t move so deliberately in a low straight line across the pink evening sky. I am an attorney and my friend is the business manager for a dental practice.

We don’t really believe in UFOS and are totally rationally based. We kept looking for a reason for this, but nothing else makes sense. We’ll be watching again tonight, and will write if we see anything. This time, I plan to have a camera ready.

Unexplained Bright Oblong Light Over West Covina California

Full Description of Event/Sighting: On December 27, 2010 at approximately 6:15 pm PST, my wife and I were in our backyard in West Covina, CA (about 22 miles east of downtown Los Angeles). It was a very clear evening and I was looking up at the night sky. In the southwest sky there was a light from what appeared to be a planet and to the right and above the planet I noticed another odd, bright light.

It was oblong in shape and had a glowing white oblong light on its underside. It was moving at a slow pace in a northerly direction. It seemed to be moving too slow to be an airplane and it seemed to high and too big to be a helicopter. I pointed it out to my wife and she also saw it and couldn’t explain it. We watched it for about 40 seconds and then it suddenly disappeared. We didn’t see it fly off. It was just gone

Large Oblong Bright Orange UFO Divides Into 6 Over West Alexandria Ohio

I walked out to my backyard at approx: 9:30 pm. I noticed a large oblong bright orange glow above the trees to the south. I stared for a moment and was shocked to see it divide into 2 then 3, then 4, 5 and 6 smaller orange orbs. They seemed to "play" in the sky forming horizontal lines, vertical lines and then a large V shape. 3 of them disappeared and the other 3 hovered for a few seconds and slowly went about their way across the tree tops. I went to get my husband and when he came out he saw the last three hovering over the trees before they disappeared.

Slow Moving Oblong UFO Observed Over Pigeon Hills Rd Spring Grove Pennsylvania

Full Description of Event/Sighting: My dog awoke me at 5:45am. I got up and glanced out the window and saw an object moving slowly in the sky. I went to the window and opened it and stuck my head out and saw the object much clearer. The morning sky was clear and crisp. I listened for a sound and heard a low rotating hum. The object was about 1000 feet above the tree line moving south. The object appeared to have 3 prongs hanging down from it all lighted with yellow, blue green, some red, orange and white mixture lights. The object was moving slowly. I jumped in my car and tried to follow it, by that time it was to far away to see. But it was still moving slowly and still heading south.

This wasn't a helicopter or an airplane. I did see for sure a Flying Saucer back in 1974. That was cylinder shape and in the afternoon. That one had a hum sound with a much higher pitch. That one I saw through binoculars and I was able to see clearly the dome on top and underneath and port windows. That was when I lived on the Eastern Shore of Maryland.

Frankfort, Michigan UFO Is Oblong In Shape With Windows

I am sending this in for my friend (name removed)

The sighting was over Frankfort Michigan Tuesday March 3rd, 2009 at approximately 930pm and lasted for about an hour. He saw this same thing about a week before. It was oblong in shape tapered in each end he says it seemed to have 6 windows (through binoculars) red, green, white and blue lights blinked it zig and zagged and hovered. A brighter spot like type light came out of the bottom of it for a short time. He does have it on a digital camera and I have downloaded it to my computer. He doesn't believe in this sort of thing, but says he does now. I am going to let him borrow my video recorder that has an awesome zoom power in it and can be put on a tri-pod if he sees it again.

Crescent City, California An Oblong Circle Shaped UFO

Weather Conditions: Clear, a few stars, 1/2-1/4 of a moon

Description: I live in the south end of Crescent City. There is the Ocean to the west of us, and mountains to the east. I can't see the ocean, but can hear it. I was hot last night and went to open up the sliding glass door in my bedroom for some cool air. As I looked at the sky, I mentioned what a nice night it was to my boyfriend. As I was looking out into the sky, I noticed what I initially thought was a bright star, but as I looked at it, it looked much different than anything I have ever seen. It was giving off rays of light that would be in one direction, and then shift to the other direction.

It seemed to hover right over the tree lined horizon. It seemed so close to the trees, it couldn't have been a star. I thought maybe a satellite, then no; then a plane, then no; then I told my boyfriend to come look at this, because I couldn't believe the way it was acting. It wasn't really moving, just hovering, to the left, then a little to the right. The rays looked like it was trying to spot out something. The lights were white, green, red, all kind of like flickering. I say this because when I got my binoculars out it looked like they were moving around in an oblong circle shape. Weirdest thing I ever have seen. I called my mom who lives on the north end of town, and she
went outside and confirmed the same thing.

TV/Radio: I called the radio station, she said to call the police dept. I didn't want to sound crazy, so I didn't call in. This is my first report of the incident.

Mobile, Alabama Oblong Light

Full Description of event/sighting: An oblong light pulsed 3 times. The light was about 100 to 200 feet over the Mobile bay bridge. My wife and I driving east on the east side of the bridge saw the light for about one second and passed under the light. No idea what it was. But we both agreed we had not ever seen anything like that.

Near SeaWorld Orlando, Florida 5 Cylinder - Oblong UFOs

Location of Sighting: Very near SeaWorld, Orlando FL. Number of witnesses: 2 Number of objects: 5 Shape of objects: Cylinder/Oblong.

Full Description of event/sighting: My mother and I met up for lunch at a Wendy's restaurant. It was a clear day, blue skies, not a cloud in sight. We were having lunch inside by the window when my mother said "what are those?" while looking up out the window. I looked out the window as well, which cast no reflection and the view was clear. We both could see 5 unidentified objects in the sky. They were all white in color, cylinder shaped, and appeared to be very high in the sky and all traveling together at a consistent pace. They definitely did not have any wings, visible lights, or appear to cast any reflection. Had my cell phone had a camera. I am confident that I would have been able to capture them easily as they were clearly visible to the naked eye.

They continued to move until they were no longer visible from where we were seated. We agreed that they definitely weren't airplanes (nor do jet-liners travel in "packs"), blimps (far too high, and again, blimps don't travel in packs), balloons (at least not balloon/round shaped and also far too high to be so visible, suggesting they were much larger), or anything else we could compare them to. I'm still stumped by what they were, and am interested in finding out if other people have seen the same exact thing before.

Sanford, Florida Two Oblong Objects Heading South In Formation

Date: September 14, 2007 Time: 10:45 a.m.

Location of Sighting: Sanford Florida. Number of witnesses: 1 Number of objects: 2 Shape of objects: Oblong.

Full Description of event/sighting: I was heading home on Friday the 14th of September. I was on the 417 greenway when I happened to look out of the window and saw two oblong objects heading South in formation. The one in the rear being slightly higher than the craft in the lead. They were very bright and stood out against the white cumulus clouds, being a much brighter white than the clouds.

I pulled over to the side of the road to watch them. They didn't seem to be moving all that fast, about this time a Southwest airplane was coming North having just taken off from Orlando International Airport. Both objects were about twice the size of this jet and appeared to pass overhead of the aircraft.

A few seconds later the trailing object did a 90 degree turn to the West and started picking up speed quickly disappearing in the distance, at the same time that it was heading to the West, the remaining object picked up speed and continued to head South disappearing in the distance.

I think the entire sighting may have lasted 2 or 3 minutes. The weather conditions were good, bright day, light blue sky with scattered clouds.

Mount Cobb, Pennsylvania Oblong Shape Which Looked Like A Giant Bullet

Full Description of event/sighting: At approx: 7:30 I saw a white object that look like a plane with no wings, no windows, and no markings. The object was ascending from a approx. 10,000 feet up at fast speed out of view into the blue sky. The object came from northeast direction flew to southwest direction. The object size of a 747 airplane.

On February 26, 2006 northeast PA, had high winds coming from northwest direction, sunny morning, and a few clouds.

I had one other sighting of an oblong object the same like this one about two years and and descending from 2000 feet to a unpopulated area partially wooded and farm fields.

Sunrise Beach, Texas An Oblong Object - No Wings

Date: November 10, 2005 Time: 5:30 p.m.

Hi Brian, Hope you and yours are doing great. I was sitting out side to day, Thursday. I had just got through scattering the deer corn out for the deer. It was about 5:30, clear sky, no wind. I happened to look up to see this oblong object without any wings (which is why I didn't think it was an airplane) it looked to be white in color. It was moving pretty fast to the north coming from the south. There was no sound at all. The moon was already out as you can see. I grabbed my camera which was just inside the front door (for a change), got two shots before it was gone.

I saw this same thing yesterday, but couldn't get my camera fast enough to get a picture of it. So I was glad to see it today again. Yesterday when it came by I ran in to get my camera and ran out the back door, it was no where in sight. Anyway I thought you might want to see. It is the small object to the right of the moon (you can tell which is which, moon lots bigger) The next picture is above the moon. Clearer picture. I got these shots on my digital camera 315 hp. As you can see it was moving too fast for me to get more shots.

My camera takes a couple of seconds after the first shot before the red light gives me the ok to take another one. The second of the pictures you can see it clearer. Hope you can enlarge them to see better. It looked like a white oblong object. Let me know what you think. I still watch the sky, always have since the one time back in my younger days, ha ha. This is when we saw a UFO (I can honestly say for sure ) as it was close enough to touch, it looked like. Take care and thanks for the great job letting the world know what's out there. West Central, Louisiana Bright Oblong Shaped Object

Date: Summer of 1990 Time: Early evening.

Brian, This happened in the summer of 1990 in West Central Louisiana.

We saw a UFO disappear one time while the sky was still light in early evening, it was amazing. I have not seen this before or since. I mentioned this one time, it was very strange and it was clear. The object didn't just speed up and fly out of sight. We were coming home from fishing, something on the boat had come loose so my husband stopped to fix it, my Dad and I waited in the truck and I saw this bright oblong shaped object moving toward the east flying slowly. The sun had set but the sky was still very bright, this thing was not very high, and I'm not sure how far away it was but could been couple miles. We watched and it as it slowed even more and kind of backed up a short distance, when it backed up a huge light appeared in front of the UFO, it had a extremely bright white center.

Then it spread out in long pointed shards of light in every direction, sort of like looking at the sun through a crystal. The ship began moving again and as they usually do move very fast flying into the middle of this white light, once it was into the light it appeared to suck all the light in after it went through the hole and both the object and the light were gone in seconds. It was very strange, neither of us said any thing and my husband didn't see it, he got on and we drove on home. Take care.
