Cylindrical Metallic Object/UFO Over The Adler Planetarium Chicago Illinois

Time:  About 4:00 - 5:00 p.m.

Saw a cylindrical metallic object over the lake on Sunday August 19th, 2012 at about 4:00 - 5:00 p.m. above the Adler Planetarium, just after the air and water show.

It was moving quite slowly, first descending then heading east-northeast. It moved out of sight in front of the planetarium and we moved to the north side of the building and it was gone, we stood there looking for a good 20-30 minutes, but couldn't see it again.

No one around us seemed to have noticed it.

Silver Metallic Cylindrical Or Bullet Shaped UFO Over Newark California

Time:  2:00 p.m. or 3:00 p.m.

I saw a silver metallic cylindrical or bullet shaped object from backyard at 2:00 p.m. or 3:00 p.m.

It must be a big whatever it is, because it is so far and still recognizable. Unlike planes, trajectory is upwards not sideways, that's why I noticed.

It was very fast and very shiny. September 20, 2012. The Craft preceded by a helo (green) must be military, flying in circles. That's why I was looking up. Also up in the sky are 3 jets. I can only see contrails in a westerly direction. There were no clouds in sky.

Cylindrical In Shape In The Daytime Sky Over Yonkers New York (Pictures)

It was cylindrical in shape and hovered moved very slowly then turned.

I was able to get it on my phone camera as well as in video at one point it seemed to be spiraling in one of the pictures.

It was silver like metal in another it seemed to have colors reflecting of it black red and white.

Two Cylindrical UFO Close On One Another Over Texas/Oklahoma Border In Northeast Texas

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was driving home from Church on Easter Sunday night April 24th, 2011 on a desolate Farm to Market Road in Texas to Oklahoma where I reside. There is never hardly any traffic day or night on this Farm to Market Road.

The night was exceptionally clear and the stars were shining bright when I noticed this very bright star or at least that is what I perceived in the east, as I was driving east, but it suddenly dawned on me, that it was moving.

I eventually pulled my vehicle off to the side of the road, so get a better look, well this object came to a standstill and I could see it had red, green, yellow and white lights on it and it showed to be cylindrical in shape.

I just happened to glance to my left which faced north and I saw another object coming towards the other object that was at a standstill and it pulled up close to the other object and it had the same color lights on top and it showed that it was cylindrical in shape as well and it came to a standstill also. I could tell there was a space between the two objects.

I looked at my watch and it was 10:15 p.m. 5 minutes, after the second object stopped by the other one, I saw a bright red light proceed to the original object and it looked like how someone would roll out a "Red Carpet" as it was very wide. In my mind I thought this could be a laser of some kind.

Once this "Red Carpet" scenario took place within another 5 minutes as I looked at my watch again as it was 10:20 p.m., I saw what looked liked "black dots" or images moving on this "Red Carpet" toward the first object and this proceeded for 10 minutes and then the "black dots" or whatever stopped and I noticed my watch again and it was 10:30 p.m.

At 10:35 p.m. this "Red Carpet" whatever started to retract back toward the second object. At 10:45 p.m., the first object, started to move sideways and then lifted up and turned south and sped away at a high rate of speed and simply vanished. I definitely saw that it was cylindrical then for sure.

At 10:50 p.m. the second object turned sideways and lifted up and shot at a high rate of speed back to the north whence it had come from and it vanished and I definitely could tell it was cylindrical also. I am a stickler for keeping up with time.

Whatever I saw that Easter Sunday night of April 24th, 2011 was very strange indeed as I do not know if this second object was making a transfer of some sort to the first object or what it was doing.

I have not told anyone about this incident, as I did not want to be classified as a "nutcase" but I felt like I needed to share with you about this strange observation and whether you publish this or not, does not matter to me as I am not out for publicity and I do not drink or do drugs of any kind.

I have however thought of this incident many times since and I have wondered what these two cylindrical objects were up too and how they left at a high rate of speed and simply vanished.

Gold Colored Rectangular Upright Cylindrical Spinning UFO Over Fulton New York

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Just after 9:30pm I was going to pick up my girlfriend from work. I traveled Route 3 Fulton, New York going east to the super Wal-Mart in Grandby, New York. I spotted to the northeast roughly 1000 to 1500 feet in the sky an upright cylindrical spinning object.

The object was very bright with a gold glow. At first I thought it may have been the north star, however the shape and appearance of the object made this unnatural to me.

As I tried to also watch the road and the object at the same time, I drove by a cluster of tall trees and still through the cover saw the light, however as I cleared the trees the object was gone.

Today on 9-12-2011 my girlfriends nephew stopped by and asked if we saw the UFO's ? I said I think I may have seen one. He replied I saw seven that night at once in the town of Volney New York in the north eastern sky.

We were in two different towns when this happened and about the same time, cool hey? I can’t explain this, but an investigation may me worth it. I know what I saw indeed and it wasn't anything I have ever seen before like a plane helicopter etc. Please help, my girlfriends nephew even posted on Facebook on what he saw also.

Enormous Cylindrical UFO Swoops Over Witnesses Car Over Montague New Jersey

Full Description of Event/Sighting: My mother and father were on their way home from the Clubhouse at High Point Country Club. They turned left out of the Country Club and headed toward route 206. As they passed Dr. Coburn's office, the local vet, they sited a round cylindrical enormous object over the substation on Robin Hill Road.

My parents are the farthest from UFO believers, that they could not believe their eyes and no sooner than saying "Hun", do you see what I am seeing, the UFO quietly swooped over their car and stayed there for what they thought was an eternity, then it swooped off without a sound.

There a many, many sightings in Montage, NJ and Milford PA. It is well known in the area for those that wish to discuss. My parents kept this a secret for many years and finally told us.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I saw a flying object moving south paralleling coast on Ruby Beach in the afternoon, on a weekend in June or July 2004. The object was observed through binoculars. It was pulsating extremely bright and multi colored. The object turned on it's axis and became saucer shaped, no colors. Object then turned and appeared round again and turned directly eastward, sped eastward out of sight. Observed for 10 - 12 minutes total. Never saw anything like it before or since.

Scottsville, Virginia A Triangular Or Cylindrical Shaped UFO

Shape of Objects: Too dark to know for sure, possibly triangular or cylindrical.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: My mom and brother had just pulled into the driveway outside my house and were hanging out in the car until about five minutes later, when they caught sight of an object with two pale yellow lights in the sky. It remained stationary for around thirty seconds after they spotted it, but then it slowly started moving southwest.

My brother ran around to the front porch, tapped on the window, and yelled for me to get my camera and come outside. Thinking it probably wasn't anything different from the red, white, and green stationary lights we'd been seeing, I took my time and showed up outside a few minutes later. It was chilly, so I stayed on the porch. He kept watching the sky and told me the object had passed over the house, but after several seconds, he called out to me, saying that it was visible from the front yard again.

So I ran from the porch and out into the yard, he pointed it out to me, I saw the pale yellow lights, and they were blinking. I kept my eye on it but told my brother it was probably nothing more than a plane. He insisted that it wasn't, and I continued watching, snapping a couple pictures and trying to tape some of it as I did so. It was a clear night, lots of stars out and things traveling across the sky that obviously were planes, and, just briefly, I was able to make out some sort of shape. It was very vague in the darkness, but it appeared to be quite large and somewhat triangular in shape. It didn't appear to be traveling at as high an altitude as the planes were but didn't make a sound, as low-flying planes are apt to do. It continued on the same path, and slowly disappeared over our neighbor's house and into the night. I can still see the possibility of it being a plane, but my mom, brother, and I have never seen a plane move the way this object moved. Even though the lights blinked in a way similar to a plane's lights, none of us have seen lights like that before either.

I've uploaded a couple of the best pictures from what I was able to capture to Photobucket and provided the links below, but be warned: even though these are the best from the set, my camera has a tendency to blur photos without a tripod to steady it, and as a result, the photos are very poor in quality and hardly worth looking at, in my opinion, but I figured I'd provide them for anyone interested. Also, there's a chance the blur could be responsible, but the object appears to be cylindrical instead of triangular in the photos. Here are the links:

Description: In late December of 2002, I was driving north with my grandmother on I-49 through Alexandria, Louisiana. As we passed the exit for Air Base Road, I noticed a strange object of vague, Cylindrical shape hanging motionless in the sky. It appeared to have some form of stealth design, and was oriented west-east. I asked my grandmother if she could see it, and she too confirmed its presence, as did several of the people in nearby cars. Sadly, the traffic conditions did not allow us to pull over, and we had passed the exit.

Reports of similar objects have been made in the Alexandria area during 2002.

Dorchester, Massachusetts 1964 UFO Sighting Of A Huge Oval/Cylindrical UFO

My 1964 sighting, still hard to believe. The year was 1964 and I remember it so well, for two reasons. First my son was a couple of months old and all the lights went out on the east coast of the United States. I was coming home from work at 8:00pm or so driving threw a park known as Franklin Park. My brother was with me and I happened to look out my window at the starry sky, that night and saw 3 red objects moving at a high rate of speed. I stopped the car and told my brother to look up in the sky. Suddenly they stopped moving and 1 red UFO came towards my car and above it, when it was about 50 feet away it stopped and hovered for 3 minuets or so. My brother said lets get out of here, but I was curious. It was a huge cylindrical object and made a slight hum. It glowed moon bright and I was astonished to witness this. It suddenly started to go back to the other 2 red UFOs in the sky at a very fast speed. I then said were out of here. When we were leaving the park, there it was at the exit. I was now getting really curious, it took off again and I kept driving. When I got home my wife started to say something and I said to her you won't believe what I saw. She just kept talking about all the lights going out in the east coast.

I was 19 at the time and never told the story to anyone but my kids. I once asked my brother did we really see this UFO that night, he said oh yes. I believe in UFOs but people think I am pipe dreaming. So I don't talk about this alot.

It happened 44 years ago, so I can tell you it was very large, very bright and had a slight hum to it, plus it was faster than anything I ever saw. When it returned to it's formation, it went back to a red color very high up in sky. I read the next day that sightings of UFO's were observed over electric wires in Exeter NH. It was oval in shape and as bright as the moon right over my car as if it was observing us

Geneva, New York A Brightly Lit Orange Glowing Cylinder Shaped Object

Full Description of event/sighting: Hi Brian, I've written to you several times in the past and it would seem that my sightings still haven't slowed down one bit.

This morning, at 7:28am, I had just gone outside to have a smoke. The skies were mostly gray, but it had some breaks in the cloud cover to see that the sun was about to start its daily rise, but was still just below the horizon. As I gazed around the skies looking at the clouds and the orange glow of the sun about to come up, I'd noticed that there was an brightly-lit orange glowing object. It was cylinder-shaped and it even glowed when it went under the patches of the dark-gray clouds. It was traveling in an eastward position, made no noise and left no trail behind it. I was able to see this thing for several minutes until it became a tiny speck in the eastern sky. I figure it was about 10,000 feet up and about 2 miles east of my home and it must've been very large and it was about the length of my index finger held at arm's length when I first noticed it.

I would also like to discuss the story published recently on your site. It was labeled, "Outside Barnstaple, U.K." on 25 Dec. 2007. Needless to say I was shocked that someone else on this site has been able to relate to some of my own personal experiences with UFO's and abductions. When the author of that report wrote about experiences of seeing things in her room at night, it would seem that she was experiencing the sighting of a "probe", something that scans an area and gathers data, usually spherical in shape, quite similarly to the spheres that I typically see before I'm taken. However, I would like to note here that my perceptions of "seeing" things in my room, my home or anywhere else are due to "intrusive memories". They are quite similar to flashbacks that one would experience if he/she carried a diagnosis of PTSD. However, I am still aware of my environment and surroundings when these "visions" occur. My experiences are not a full-fledged PTSD experience. There are times that I do see things coming down out of my ceiling and looking like strange medical instruments. There are other times when I can see a metal table in the middle of a room, any room and there are yet other times when I can see beings just standing in front of me.....and all the while, I'm awake and moving about and still aware of my surroundings.

To read another report where my experiences have helped spark another's interest in opening up and sharing his/her experiences with others makes me feel less alone and feel as though I've been able to help others. Hopefully, there will come a day when the world's biggest and most powerful governments will stop covering up what they know about this phenomena and freely release all the information that they've gathered for the past 60 years or so.

Maryland A Very Large Cylinder Of Light (Excellent Diagram)

Full Description of event/sighting: While driving south on 270 heading towards Washington, DC, still about 40 miles form DC I saw a very large beam of light appear on the horizon slightly south east of the Highway. I could tell this beam of light was about 5 miles away. I could see the outline of the hill in front of it. Visibility that night was clear but the clouds were low enough that when the light appeared I could clearly see where it met the clouds. To give you a scope of how big it was, it was as if there were a thousand spotlights all in the same spot turned on at the same time for just a second then it was gone. The FedEx stadium, the football stadium is in that general direction but there where no football games that night, and even when there are I've never seen a large cylinder of light shining above, around or through that area. I called local radio stations and T.V. news stations to report this, but they thought I was nuts.

Near SeaWorld Orlando, Florida 5 Cylinder - Oblong UFOs

Location of Sighting: Very near SeaWorld, Orlando FL. Number of witnesses: 2 Number of objects: 5 Shape of objects: Cylinder/Oblong.

Full Description of event/sighting: My mother and I met up for lunch at a Wendy's restaurant. It was a clear day, blue skies, not a cloud in sight. We were having lunch inside by the window when my mother said "what are those?" while looking up out the window. I looked out the window as well, which cast no reflection and the view was clear. We both could see 5 unidentified objects in the sky. They were all white in color, cylinder shaped, and appeared to be very high in the sky and all traveling together at a consistent pace. They definitely did not have any wings, visible lights, or appear to cast any reflection. Had my cell phone had a camera. I am confident that I would have been able to capture them easily as they were clearly visible to the naked eye.

They continued to move until they were no longer visible from where we were seated. We agreed that they definitely weren't airplanes (nor do jet-liners travel in "packs"), blimps (far too high, and again, blimps don't travel in packs), balloons (at least not balloon/round shaped and also far too high to be so visible, suggesting they were much larger), or anything else we could compare them to. I'm still stumped by what they were, and am interested in finding out if other people have seen the same exact thing before.

Nehalem, Oregon A White Cylindrical Shaped Object

Location of Sighting: Field near home. Number of witnesses: 1 Number of objects: 1 Shape of objects: White cylinder.

Full Description of event/sighting: I walked my dog down into the field adjacent to our house in this rural area. It is a large field with hills to the east. It was early evening, the sky was still clear blue. I saw a white cylindrical object appear from behind one hill and travel across a space to disappear behind the next hill. It would be fairly low in the sky. I did not hear any sound.

I told myself that it must be a plane, that perhaps I could see wings because I was looking at them straight on. It was moving at the speed that a small plane would, but it looked bigger than a small plane.

Anyway, I kept thinking about it. I am a frequent visitor to your site and when I saw the report from Canoe, BC, I decided to report the sighting since it seemed so similar.

Hi Brian, just caught the last 45 minutes of your radio show. Very interesting.

I am very bad at judging distances, but my son says that the hills at the end of the field are about 1/2 a mile from where I was standing and they are approximately 1000 to 1200 hundred feet high. The object was flying just below and behind the tops of the hills. I think I saw it for about ten seconds?? It was visible as it flew between the hills. The speed seemed like that of a small plane. A long slender purely white thing flying horizontally.

My dog was oblivious, just doing her sniffing the ground thing. I felt puzzled, but kept wanting to make a simple explanation to myself, but it doesn't quite fit anything that I can figure out.

That's about all I know.

Maryland A Very Large Cylinder Of Light (UFO)

Shape of objects: A very large cylinder of light.

Full Description of event/sighting: While driving south on 270 heading towards Washington, DC, still about 40 miles form DC I saw a very large beam of light appear on the horizon slightly south east of the Highway. I could tell this beam of light was about 5 miles away. I could see the outline of the hill in front of it. Visibility that night was clear but the clouds were low enough that when the light appeared I could clearly see where it met the clouds. To give you a scope of how big it was, it was as if there were a thousand spotlights all in the same spot turned on at the same time for just a second then it was gone. The FedEx stadium, the football stadium is in that general direction but there where no football games that night, and even when there are I've never seen a large cylinder of light shining above, around or through that area. I called local radio stations and T.V. news stations to report this, but they thought I was nuts.

Washington, D.C. A Silver Cylinder Shaped UFO

Location of Sighting: Washington, D.C. Number of witnesses: 2 Number of objects: 1 Shape of objects: Cylinder.

Full Description of event/sighting: UFO was only observed via the Washington, D.C. webcam, not in person. Because of the time and close proximity to the Capitol Building, I'm sure the flying object must be something known (even though it's a UFO to me) since it's clearly moving in the "no fly zone" area of Washington, D.C. I saved the webcam image and can send it to you via an e-mail if you wish. The cylinder is silver (metal) and extremely clear so it could be scrutinized better by someone who knows how to enhance or enlarge the object for better viewing. I'm completely ignorant about digital cameras, modifying pictures, etc. I still cannot take a picture in the night sky with my own digital camera I've had since last September, 2006. Reading the instructions on settings for types of pictures, hasn't helped me either. I've decided it's one of those areas of learning that is affected by my continuing disability with "ADHD.

Eugene, Oregon A Cylindrical To Round Object

Full Description of event/sighting: I was running due South-West along a path off 11th Street in Eugene, Oregon when I spotted an unusual structure about 1,500 to 2,00 feet or so in the sky moving slowly in a generally southern direction. It was black, round, approximately the size of a large airliner, but shaped differently. Another object appeared to dangle from the back of it that looked almost like another circular UFO, but much smaller. Several times it appeared to catch up with the larger object and meld into it, then re-emerge. At that height and apparent distance it might, of course, have been circling the larger object. I also saw what appeared to be another object leave the first and fly southwest ahead of the object.

I stayed to watch the slowly moving object (that at times appeared to accelerate and hover for about ten minutes), then continued my run back home. When I left it was still moving south-west but somewhat faster. I am sure it was not a conventional aircraft, a helicopter, a bird or balloon, but was some kind of self-propelled round, cylindrical-shaped device. What the main larger object was or the smaller ones, I cannot to specifically identify. One more point, I have excellent near-sighted vision and don't wear glasses for driving.

50 Miles North Laredo, Texas Over Rio Grande River Cylindrical Object With Skids

Full Description of event/sighting: I was patrolling slowly along the dirt road that parallels the river, as I was on Border patrol with the Texas Minutemen. I was driving slowly along the road, which was quite muddy, as we had just had a lot of rain. I was stopping often, and observing the country and brush with my binoculars, as I was looking for illegal aliens. I had started patrolling around 7:00 a.m. that morning, going northward at an average speed of maybe 15 mph, as the road was rough, and I stopped periodically to glass large vistas. At about 10:15 a.m. I was pulled over, with my engine shut off, and was observing a large panorama from a small hill I was on top of, as the road made its way along the Rio Grande River, about a mile or two off to my left. Weather was fair, with broken, large white cumulus clouds. My attention was drawn to a flash of sunlight from up in the sky to the northwest of my position. I observed an object in the sky at an elevation of approximately 1/2 mile above the ground.

It was hard to tell with my naked eye what it was, so I threw my 10X50 binoculars up on it and was shocked by what I saw! The object was huge! It was about 10-12 miles away, but was still huge in the glasses. The closest thing I can compare it to would be a giant propane tank, like you would see in a propane supply yard. You know, the main tank for filling everything. It appeared to have some kind of structure underneath it, much like the supports under a giant propane tank. What was amazing, was that the object was just sitting there, absolutely motionless, with clouds rolling right past it, and on either side of it. It was hovering absolutely motionless in the sky. I watched it for about 5 minutes or so, and finally remembered that I had my camcorder with me, and tried shooting the object, but clouds had enveloped it by the time I got it ready to roll. By the time the clouds cleared in the area again, the object had disappeared. This object was much to large to have been a blimp, of which I have seen many. The object had some kind of writing, or a symbol on its nose, that looked black. Object appeared to be metallic. Object had to be at least 100 feet long, or longer.

Denver, Colorado Cylinder Or Saucer Shaped Craft

Full Description of event/sighting: Hello Brian, I was just on a trip to Colorado from the 27th to the 31st. On the day of the 27th I arrived early in the morning in Denver and my friend and I went to a rooftop bar for lunch and some drinks. I had brought my Canon Powershot 4 Megapixel Camera and took many pictures during the trip. I noticed on this picture, which I cropped out myself their is a either a cylinder or saucer shaped object in sky behind me. I would say it is a plane but if you look their is no contrail or what you would normally see with a silver/aluminum passenger jet. You can zoom in on this and it looks odd to me. I had previously e-mailed you after my last trip to Colorado where I had e-mailed you a picture of a silver orb that was in one of my pictures. I thought you might be interested in it. Tell me if this looks out of place or odd to you.

Brian, This report was only 2 days after my report and I was facing north which would be towards the boulder area. And the object descibed is identical to the decription here if you zoom in, fuselage biger on both sides and 1/3 smaller in the middle try zooming in and comparing the reports.

North Dakota A White Glow Filled The Cylindrical Objects

Hi Brian, (name removed) here from North Dakota! I was a guest of yours May 20th 2005 on Rense. To refresh your memory my last sighting was the black cube that stopped on a dime above my house and then after two seconds took off at bullet speed and I told you it startled me so much that I literally quit observing and didn't care if I ever saw one again.

Well I have stuck to that and that was 2002! I have even made it a point to go to bed by 9:00 pm and rise about 4:00 am. After getting "vicious terrifying night visits" for the last couple years, which I will tell you about in a separate e-mail hopefully soon, but on this one I will stick to what was going on before and during the sighting.

My sister had come home from Wyoming this last weekend for Easter, and being I have not had anyone to talk to about these intrusions, I sat down Friday evening with my sister her daughter who is about 20 and my mother and started telling them about my sightings, and my visits! I went on about a hour until I was convinced that my family really didn't know how to respond and was probably more than just a little concerned about my sanity! Well after that I returned home about 8:45 pm after talking, I got the idea I should grab my binoculars and go out on the deck and observe for a little while, thinking that if I did that this intelligence might leave me alone at night !

So this Friday the 14th of April! I sat down on my steps of my deck and it was about five minutes to 9:00 pm! I started a dialogue with my sister, pretending she was there asking me how I see these UFO's in my imaginary conversation with her. I told her either I will get a strong telepathic feeling of just knowing that they are about to appear or are already in the area, or I would be looking with my binoculars and they will just fly right through my line of view! Right after I had this imaginary conversation, I looked to the south and saw a bright satellite coming my way. So I lifted my binoculars and was focused on this satellite for about five seconds, when right through my line of sight a set of cylindrical objects flew through side by side at a very high speed and could only observe them for four seconds before they disappeared in the East! They were flying at passenger jet altitude in my estimation and again had a white glow that filled in the whole cylinder! Although there were two of them, I couldn't help but get the impression that I was looking at one craft! If you would put a bar in the middle it would of been the letter H, but nothing glowing in between so it is too hard to tell if it was one or two objects! It occurred at exactly 9:00 PM.

It was the first major sighting I have had since I quit looking! I ran in and told my wife who still doesn't know what to think! I went back out and pointed my binoculars to the North and immediately picked up on a satellite when all of a sudden I saw two flying side by side headed for three more coming from the North East and the other two were headed right at that group and when they met, all of a sudden one stopped and four proceeded to move in a gliding fashion to the East. I watched them for a while and more and kept going through the exact same area from north and south and the one that stopped had a bright red look to it! Very strange! I don't know what I was looking at so in my frustration I just came in the house and went to bed! Maybe it was a glimpse of our star war system.

I am on my way to a diabetes support group tonight for my first time because they are supposed to have a speaker on sleep disorders! Can't wait to hear this! Maybe I'll turn him on to a new realty twist! I will mail you later to let you know just how strange things have been with what I can only call my night time visits! Have a good evening! I know I won't.
