Date: March 5 and March 6, 2008
Time: 8:20-9:30 p.m. on the 5th, 10:15-10:45 p.m. on the 6th.
Location of Sighting: Could be seen from Woodbridge, but the lights were in the west, perhaps near Dulles.
Number of witnesses: 3 on the 5th and 2 on the 6th
Number of objects: over 15
Shape of objects: Blinking and stagnant lights, but on closer look, they appeared triangular perhaps.
Full Description of event/sighting: On the 5th I was driving with my dad, when I looked to the west and there are four or five yellowish white lights hovering low in the skyline, clustered together. They didn't appear to be moving, but then one at a time about 30 seconds after each other, they would move, usually vertically into the sky and start to blink strangely, very unlike the behavior of an airplane or helicopter. We could not hear them at all, they did not go in one straight path like an airplane but moved sporadically. We drove into a parking lot and saw more of the same kind of behavior for about thirty minutes. We would see a few a yellowish lights just above the trees, stagnant and then it would start moving up ward, and then proceed to move about the western part of the sky oddly. At one point there was eight or ten in the sky at once, all in the western part of the sky. None of them crossed the sky like a plane does. I saw one fall straight down extremely fast, appearing almost like a meteor. My dad thinks they must have been near Dulles airport, but we are both absolutely certain these could not have been airplanes, or even helicopters.
On the 6th, after explaining to my friend earlier in the day about my experiences, I continued to see suspicious blinking and hovering lights throughout the night. But around 10:15 we went out on his driveway to smoke a cigarette. And immediately upon looking at the sky we could already see strange blinking lights at different heights in the sky. This time it appeared they were directly above Woodbridge. A few seemed to cross directly above us. The yellow lights would again hover at a distance above the treetops, and then rise, start blinking white, red and blue lights and then move at a very fast speed, all without making any noise at all. One did cross above us particularly low in the sky. When it was above us it appeared to look like a triangle with a light in each corner, but we could not see the outline of the plane. Again, we felt odd that it didn't make any noise at all. We saw about ten of these, all throughout the sky, and on the drive home we saw one low in the sky, with many more lights then the others. It had white lights all lined up on it's side on one single craft. We took some pictures, I'm not sure about the quality, but my friend can send then to me and if you want I can send these to you.

Longmont, Colorado A Series Of 3 Large Triangular Light Formations

Location of Sighting: Longmont CO-East direction over Hwy 66 and I-25
Number of witnesses: 5
Number of objects: 1?
Shape of objects: Very Large Triangle/Series of 3 large light formations?
Full Description of event/sighting: At 6:40 pm, on Tuesday 2/19, 3 very bright golden circular lights where seen in the eastern sky in a triangle formation above Longmont. The 3 lights slowly shifted into a diagonal line across the sky and sat stationary. They proceeded to shift into a horizontal line across the horizon and then slowly spread apart. For the next hour, the three lights seem to move in a large rotation across the sky but sat stationary for long periods. I placed high powered binoculars on one of the lights and it was a very bright golden color with a little red. The light I was observing was absolutely stationary in the middle of the sky close to the horizon. As the three lights where slowly rotating over a large area of the sky, one rose straight up in the sky with an enormous white bean below it. The beam was so large that it spanned a great deal of the sky as the light rose. The light rose up and gradually disappeared. Two of the lights remained stationary in the night sky along until 8:15pm when they were gone. At about 8:30pm, I observed a large oval shaped white light moving slowly across our window--a window at the apex of our vaulted ceiling. It passed slowly moving west towards the mountains. We live at the corner of Hover and Hwy 66 in Longmont, Colorado.

San Jose, California A Triangle Shaped Craft With Lights

Time: Approx: 5:45 a.m.
Location: North Bound, HWY-101, San Jose, CA between Capitol Expressway and Tully Avenue (left-side or westward).
Number of witnesses: unknown
Number of objects: 1
Shape of objects: Triangle shaped with Red, Green, and white lights on each edge.
Weather Conditions: Breezy and cold, with clear skies.
Description: I saw the craft on the left-side of my vehicle (westward) about at a 35-degree angle, as I was driving North on HWY-101 just past the Capitol Expressway Exit. It looked to be hovering approximately 500 to 700 feet from the ground with very bright lights stationed at/or near the edge of each angle (Three: Red, Blue, and White). The craft was stationary and not moving in any direction. I don't believe it to be a helicopter, because I could definitely make the triangle-shaped outline of the craft's silhouette from the ski-line as the sky became lighter and lighter. I watched the craft off-and-on for several minutes while I was driving. The craft never moved or changed position as long as I could see it while driving. I did not notice any noise or sound what so ever, and I lowered the driver-side window and turned off the radio (and momentarily the radio station 107.7 The Bone went silent at one point during the sighting for approximately 45 seconds.
The surface area of the craft was Blackish-Grey from what I could tell, and the lights on each edge were very bright and they blinked several times but intermittently, never in a repeated cycle. As I was driving South Bound, Hwy 101 later that morning, I didn't see the anomaly again nor did I see any radio or electric-towers in the vicinity where the craft first appeared earlier in the morning. I have no explanation for what I saw that morning.

North Hollywood, California Triangular Object And Red Ball

Location of Sighting: North Hollywood, CA. Number of witnesses: 2 Number of objects: 2 Shape of objects: Triangular but brilliant like a star.
Full Description of event/sighting: As lay on the couch looking thought the window I observed an extremely brilliant light in the southeast sky above the Hollywood Hills toward Burbank, CA. It was too bright to be a star and too far to be a commercial aircraft. I yelled at my sister to look also. She told me she had seen it there before so we looked at this for about an hour and noticed red, green and yellow lights on the end of a triangular shaped object, very, very bright. It did not move and had been there for about 2 hours. About 45 minutes into the observation I noticed a red ball come cross the sky from west to east really fast as if it was in orbit. I watched it as it appeared until it disappeared. This really blew my mind because I never, ever thought I would see something like this. The triangular shaped object appeared again 2 nights later.

Albuquerque, New Mexico Five Silver Triangular Shaped UFOs

Approach Direction: West. Departure Direction: East. Witness Direction: North.
Description: At 3:00 p.m. in Albuquerque, New Mexico my husband and I saw 5 triangular shaped discs in the sky traveling fast. Four in front that were changing forms, and forming a triangle. The one behind them did nothing but fly straight. They were extremely fast and disappeared over the Sandia Mountains.
Color/Shape: Silver, triangular shaped.
Height & Speed: Unknown height, but traveling faster than any jet can, and making maneuvers that were precise and odd shaped.
TV/Radio/Press: None that we know of.

Minerva, Ohio Green Balls Of Light In Triangular Formation

Time: Just after dusk.
Location of Sighting: Minerva, Ohio.

Number of objects: 3
Shape of objects: Ball shape in formation to form like a triangle.
Full Description of event/sighting: In December of 1992 a friend and I, who were in sixth grade, were sled riding on our towns largest hill. It was not completely dark out yet but very close and we had just walked back to the top of the hill and both laid back on our sleds to rest and we both looked up and saw 3 ball shape bright green objects one in the front and two on the back forming almost a triangle. They were about 300 to 400 feet directly above us just sitting there in the air completely silent. Then after about 10 - 15 seconds the lights turned white and it took off faster then anything I have ever seen to this day. The ball shapes were so close together and the way it took off made it seem as if it was actually one object. Each of the ball shapes were very large. We tried to report it but were basically laughed off.

Roanoke County, Virginia Possible Triangular Craft Making Loud Noise

Location of Sighting: Southwestern Roanoke County, VA. Number of witnesses: 1 Number of objects: 1 Shape of objects: Possible triangular.
Full Description of event/sighting: Hi Brian, I'm writing to tell you of an incident on Sunday night, April 1, 2007, but I'm not sure what I saw.
Date: Sunday night, April 1, 2007 Location: Western Roanoke County, VA: Nearest town: Elliston. Time: 10:00 pm? Full moon was high in sky. Witnesses: 1 Objects: 1, possibly triangular.
I had gone outside to look at the full moon. The sky was packed with dense patches of clouds moving west to east. The full moon was high toward the south and clearly visible through an enormous circular hole in the clouds. It was a beautiful sight and I stood looking at it for a few minutes. I had just turned away from the moon to head back inside when, to the NNW, I heard an enormously loud (jet?) engine and looked up to see a very low, slow-moving craft passing overhead between the ridges of the hollow where I live. This craft was just above treetop level and for all the world looked like a plane that had slowed down and was getting ready to land. The only problem is, there is no landing field anywhere around here. Very flew planes of any kind fly over my house (except chemtrailers, of course, high up). I live in the middle of forest, farm, and wild land, hilly wooded country, in southwestern Virginia.
I had about 15-20 seconds of viewing as the craft moved from NNW to NNE between the ridgelines, then it passed beyond the ridge and out of sight. It was extremely loud, low, and slow.
I spent a few seconds being befuddled, wondering why any airplane would be there at all, looking like it was going to land. Then I noticed that it wasn't an ordinary plane. There were three stationary red lights and one blinking white light. The red lights were laid out as if this were a triangle, one at the nose, the other two spaced out behind, as if at corners. The blinking white light was in the middle, above the plane of the red lights. I could perceive no physical shape connecting the lights. The craft was not huge, not bigger than a normal commercial plane, but not small either.
It all happened quickly. I am absolutely sure it was a craft flying low and slow and that the sound of (jet?) engines was very loud. I am sure there were 3 red lights and one blinking white light. Aren't most triangles silent?
On the other side of the ridge in the direction it was headed is the Spring Hill Reservoir. Maybe it was going there to refuel on water?
That's it. The only other interesting thing (maybe connected with this, maybe not) is that sometimes at night I hear a prolonged roaring on the other side of the ridge to the west of me, as if several jets are taking off at the same time or sitting with their engines revved up. After minutes of this, the roaring fades out as if moving away. I can't see anything because the ridge is in the way and I never see lights in the sky after these roaring noises that would indicate a plane over that way. To the best of my knowledge, there's only more hilly wooded country over there.

Ocala, Florida Triangular Shaped Object

Full Description of event/sighting: I was at swim practice when I noticed a flying object in the sky. But thinking it was a plane, I ignored it. Later that evening I saw it again, but this time I took the time to look and I couldn't really see it clearly. Then I saw it fly away. Again that night I saw it again but it was closer and I noticed it had flashing lights all around it. Then again it flew away and I never saw it that night.

Ithaca, New York Possibly Triangular Shaped Craft

Full Description of event/sighting: Hello Brian, Last night just as I was turning out the lights and heading for bed. A very large glimmering object caught my eye to my right just outside my second story picture window facing west. I moved toward the window to get a closer look through the bare tree limbs to see a strobing group of lights just above the hills. What was unusual about this group of lights was that the colors were a pale yellow, stationary. and very low above the hills in front of me. I quickly retrieved my Olympus C-740 Zoom digital camera from my office. The object was still not moving when I returned and seemed to be of incredible size, like two 747 jets placed together nose to tail. How was it possible that an object this large could stay in the sky, was my first thought. I placed the lens right up against the glass so as not to get any reflection and took three shots. That is when the object began to move very slowly towards the North heading over Cuyuga Lake.
Then what happened next was way out of the ordinary for me. I was so excited to be having this experience but had the overwhelming desire to go to bed, NOW. I did not even brush my teeth which I have done religiously for over 45 years. The next morning the camera was sitting on the entertainment console so I immediately took it into my office to download whatever I had captured. Out of the three pictures, the first one showed all the lights. The other two were totally dark.
I would really like to know if there were any other witnesses who may read your site. This is not my first encounter with strange objects in the sky. Just two years ago in Orlando, Florida, I was walking my dog at 5:15am and looked up at the sky as I always do when he is doing his business. It was if the sky above me was moving along with a grouping of stars. No, these were not stars, they were dimly glowing pale yellow lights clustered underneath a black boomerang shaped form which I could barley make out. The grouping of lights which were so numerous I could begin to count them, Moved slowly towards the south without making a sound. I was awestruck. The size was unbelievable. I would describe it as the size of a football stadium floating above me about five hundred feet. No one else was outside in my apartment complex at this hour so there were no other witnesses to my knowledge. I could not wait to get to work to tell my coworkers what I had seen. Chester, Virginia Twelve Plus Objects - Triangular Or Diamond Shaped

Full Description of event/sighting: I am still overwhelmed by this, I think my sister is too. Just fifteen minutes ago both of us saw twelve (12) lights up in the sky at separate times. All twelve were blinking red, yellow and blue lights off and on symotaniously. They looked almost triangular or diamond in size and they were moving quickly, maybe at a speed of 80 to 100 MPH. Anyways, my sister and I were watching this one particular light go straight up into the sky and do figure eights and circles, then it went straight up and disappeared. Now I know planes can't do figure eights or complete circles in the sky without causing damage to ship, crew or both. Also, planes don't have one light over them that blinks red, yellow and blue.

Newburgh, Indiana Silver Triangular Shaped UFO

Full Description of event/sighting: I have seen that type of UFO that was just recently seen in Sonora, California. It was the drawing that caught my attention, not the actual photos. It was a sunny day with a few clouds in the sky. I saw a bird on top of a telephone poll (I was in a rural area.) and I looked at it in my binoculars (7x35). As I was watching the bird I saw a flash in the sky above the bird. It was silver and triangular and angular, It was beautiful.
And it was hauling butt. It was at mid height in the sky and seemed to be turning and climbing in a southern direction coming from the east. I lost it in the sun. It only lasted about 10 seconds. No contrails, no noise no wings. If I hadn't looked at that bird I would have never noticed it. It's size in my lens was about a third of the size of a dime. This was no jet. Like I wrote, it looked very much like the sketch of the mysterious object in Sonora, California.

Sacramento, California Triangular Shaped Object

Location of Sighting: Causeway, Sacramento, I-80. Number of witnesses: 2 Number of objects: 1 Shape of objects: Triangular
Full Description of event/sighting: Object was slow moving. We first saw two lights, and when we got closer, we were underneath the object, and saw three lights. The two lights we saw were from the two corners of the triangle, and when we were under it, we saw three lights that formed the complete shape. Slow moving, and was low. Sized like a house, maybe bigger. I drove past it, and it seemed like it was hovering for a while. From the moment we saw it, to the time it was out of sight was maybe 2-3 minutes. Hopefully someone else saw it.

Crossville, Tennessee Triangular In Shape

Number of witnesses: 2 Number of objects: 20+, innumerable. Shape of objects: Triangular. Weather Conditions: Clear with few scattered clouds, warm.
Description: I was at a park in the small town of Crossville, Tennessee. I was there swinging with my now ex boyfriend. If I have my history correct, Katrina was starting to come to coast the evening before around 8-9 pm Central time. We were at the park sometime around 7:30-8. It was a pretty typical evening, until we noticed these little blurbs sailing overhead. At first glance, we tried to dismiss them as birds. However, the objects were pretty high up in the air, at an altitude superior to any jet I've ever seen. The sun had just gone down, but there was still a little bit of light out, and it seems like there might have just been light reflecting off whatever these objects were, but they had an eerie glow, as if they were projecting their own light.
At a better glance, there appeared to be three little lights. The flying objects appeared to be triangular in shape and there was a light in each corner. We kept trying to rationalize it, thinking it might have possibly been some kind of plane, but they were definitely misshapen to aircraft. Normally, even when seeing planes in the sky, it is possible to see 2 sometimes even up to 3, but they just kept coming in numbers! I saw the first one trail cross the sky, then I saw two more.
They had a very irregular flight path, it was as if they could zig and zag back and forth. They came from different directions, but always seemed to meet up in the middle and fly off together in a south westerly direction. (Ironically, the same direction that New Orleans would be relative to TN) First there were 3, then there were 5 meeting up with each other and trailing off and so on. At one point I think I saw up to 7 join up at the same time. The numbers varied but all in all we saw no less than 20 of them. And they were still coming even after we left the park! Did they know what was about to happen? Were they here to witness the aftermath?
I honestly don't know. I keep trying my hardest to explain what I saw, but I have never seen anything like it. I always thought UFOs were circular discs, or spherical in shape.. never triangles?? They just kept meeting up and flying off together, meeting up and flying off together. I told a friend of ours about the phenomenon, and he looked it up on the internet. He showed me something called "Belgian triangles". It was exactly identical to what I witnessed that night at the park!! I couldn't believe it.I also do recall a middle light on a few of the objects, which is another property of the triangles.
Ever since, I have been searching the internet trying to find similar stories on around the night of Hurricane Katrina, but have been unable to until I stumbled into your site. Thank you for shedding some light onto the matter and making me feel like less of a nut!

Coral Springs, Florida 4 Bright Stars Evenly Spaced Changed To Three (Triangle)

Full Description of event/sighting: I had walked down my friends driveway to the parking lot to smoke a cigarette. As I approached the parking lot I noticed 4 bright stars spaced very evenly in a large square. I regarded the stars for about 5 seconds, thinking it was odd that 4 equally bright stars would appear in such a perfectly square formation. Suddenly, the stars began to move in a southerly direction at a relatively slow but steady pace.
This shocked me. I kept watching as they slid silently overhead moving to the south and then made a slight turn to a south-westerly direction. As they moved they turned into a triangle of 3 stars. I estimated these stars where very high in the sky, and of about the same hue and intensity as some of the ordinary stars.
I thought I detected a very slight wavering of the stars in distance from each other as they moved, almost as if they might have been attached to each other with slightly elastic bands. Although I looked to see if any stars in the sky where blotted out by a body between the four stars it never at any time passed in front of any of the real stars so I was unable to tell if there was anything in the middle of the 4 stars.
Later, I did think that I may have seen 4 migrating birds flying in some kind of formation except for a couple of things. I've never seen birds even vaguely begin to resemble stars in the night sky. Two, I have never seen this again and there are plenty of birds in the sky around here at night. I don't think there is sufficient light from the ground to make a bird light up like that. Three, I know some birds fly in a square formation with one tip leading the pack, but here two tips where leading the 'pack', if we can call it that.
The square moved perfectly sideways, not as if one point was ahead of the others. Finally, when it turned south-westerly, over I-75 and towards the everglades, I have no doubt that there is no way birds would have appeared to go from 4 to 3. There is no doubt in my mind I saw something very unusual that night that was not birds, and must have been very high in the sky and very, very large.

Lake Of The Ozarks, Missouri Lights In A Triangular Formation

Full Description of event/sighting: It was the 4th of July and myself and several friends went down to the lake for the weekend. We were all sitting down by the dock shooting off a few fireworks when myself and three others looked up right at the same moment, almost as if we were drawn to do so and saw what seemed to be a very large triangular object flying overhead. There were three lights which appeared to me as one at the front tip of the object and then one on either "wing". The three lights could have easily been mistaken as stars at first glance but it became apparent quickly that the three lights were moving in conjunction with each other and definitely appeared to be attached to the same object. We could not actually see the object or craft that the lights were attached to.
You could not even make out the shadow or outline of whatever the object was. The object seemed very large. Much, much larger than any airplane that I have knowledge of. It was hard to determine how fast the object was moving or exactly how high up it was since we could not see the object itself, only the three lights. It seemed to me to be close to the altitude of a commercial jet coming in for landing. Had it been a regular plane you would have been able to make it out clearly in daylight probably enough to even determine which airline it was by the body of the plane. As I stated previously, all four of us looked up at the same instant and saw this object. We watched the three lights move overhead for probably about 30 seconds before anyone spoke.
It is hard to explain but we all just knew in our gut that we had seen something not of this earth. I think everyone was thinking the same thing, but afraid to be the first one to verbalize it for fear everyone else might not feel the same and would make fun of them. Finally one friend just said "Um, that was so a UFO right"? And once it was said aloud we all were like, "Oh my God, yes I think so". We all agreed that if it was an aircraft from this planet it was definitely not one we had ever seen before or was know to the general public.
If it was a secret government aircraft they sure picked the absolute worst time to fly it as the Lake of the Ozarks is a very popular destination for 4th of July, and since fireworks are a tradition for the holiday, it was obviously very likely that alot of people would be looking to the sky that night The feeling that came over me when I saw this object was overwhelming and very hard to explain. After talking with the others who also witnessed this object I came to find out they all had that same feeling come over them.

Full Description of event/sighting: It was the 4th of July and myself and several friends went down to the lake for the weekend. We were all sitting down by the dock shooting off a few fireworks when myself and three others looked up right at the same moment, almost as if we were drawn to do so and saw what seemed to be a very large triangular object flying overhead. There were three lights which appeared to me as one at the front tip of the object and then one on either "wing". The three lights could have easily been mistaken as stars at first glance but it became apparent quickly that the three lights were moving in conjunction with each other and definitely appeared to be attached to the same object. We could not actually see the object or craft that the lights were attached to.
You could not even make out the shadow or outline of whatever the object was. The object seemed very large. Much, much larger than any airplane that I have knowledge of. It was hard to determine how fast the object was moving or exactly how high up it was since we could not see the object itself, only the three lights. It seemed to me to be close to the altitude of a commercial jet coming in for landing. Had it been a regular plane you would have been able to make it out clearly in daylight probably enough to even determine which airline it was by the body of the plane. As I stated previously, all four of us looked up at the same instant and saw this object. We watched the three lights move overhead for probably about 30 seconds before anyone spoke.
It is hard to explain but we all just knew in our gut that we had seen something not of this earth. I think everyone was thinking the same thing, but afraid to be the first one to verbalize it for fear everyone else might not feel the same and would make fun of them. Frisco, Texas Dark Triangular Object ?

Full Description of event/sighting: I was taking pictures of a striking Texas sunset. I only saw the object after I transferred the photos to my computer. I took several shots just a few seconds apart. One shot does show a dark object below the clouds. When enlarged, it appears to reveal a triangle-shape. I neither saw nor heard anything odd at the time the photo was taken. I'd like to send it to you. The complete frame is 5 megapixels and shows a dark object in the sky below the orange clouds.
Since I didn't see the object at the time, I didn't zoom directly on it, but I think it still is worth a look. I will also send two cropped versions that focus on the object.

San Diego, California Triangle And Military Helicopters

Date: Summer of 2004 Time: Approx: 6:00 p.m.
A second was much more scary for me. It was during summer break of 2004. The time was about 6:00pm and I just let the dogs out of the back door of my home. As I waited for the dogs to come back in, I saw an object similar to the one I saw in 2001, at Yosemite's National Park, California. The craft was moving through the air at about the speed a helicopter would travel for 15 or 20 seconds. Then for no reason, the object made a soft boom and zipped away.
Approximately five minutes later there were five military helicopters flying in the same direction as the object did. Just after the helicopters passed, there were about ten lights which were very high in the sky and moving very fast. The ten lights looked to be flying as high as commercial airliners do. I was very freaked out I ran inside and told my parents, but they didn't believe me. To make it more strange, for about a week, no planes flew in the same airspace the object had used to travel through. The best way I can describe the object, is like a picture I found on the web. It was a full triangle that had four lights on it, one at each corner and one larger light in the middle.

Outside Of Rabun, Alabama Black Triangle Sighting (Footage/Maps)

Hey Brian, the triangle video that I sent you yesterday was shot on April 26 2004 on Maytower Rd.(county Rd.96) just outside of Rabun,AL. The story you sent me the link to entitled "Black Triangle Sighting Outside Of Stockton, Alabama (Diagrams And Maps)" happened in 2002. As you pointed out the dates are 2 years and 1 day apart.The 2002 sighting, the one we discussed on your web show, also took place on Maytower Rd. just outside of Stockton,AL. The distance between the two sightings is about 3 miles.Here is a map of the area.

As you can see the two sightings are not far apart. Also note here that the location is within 5 miles of interstate I-65. Something the NIDS Triangle Investigation pointed out was that most triangle sightings happen within 5 miles of interstate highways.
On the night of April 26,2004 just after 10:00 p.m. I was driving down Maytower Rd heading home to Rabun from Stockton. I spotted a light across a field and after watching for a second I knew it was a small prop plane. It was flying off to my right heading in the same direction as I and over time it got out in front of me due to its faster speed. At about the mid-point of Maytower Rd. I spotted a small red light. This red light crossed right over the top of the prop plane. Very close. Then I realized it would soon cross the road in front of me. I drove the next 3/4 of a mile at 80mph and managed to get almost up under it when it crossed the road.. I stopped and hung out the driver side window and took the video. It was about 70 degrees up from my location. Here is a map showing the details.

As stated in the video the craft had no strobe lights or wing tip lights. Only three lights, two red and one white in a triangle formation. The craft made no sound. Its altitude was 1000 to 2000 feet at best guess.

Kaufman County, Texas Triangular Shaped Object

Date: March 24, 2004 Time: Between 7:30 and 8:00 p.m.
Hi Brian, It was between 7:30 and 8:00 pm when I saw this blinking light moving from the northeast to the southwest on 03-24-2004. I started not to even tape it because of the blinking lights, thought it was most likely a jet. I was watching it and I realized it was moving two or three times faster than jets I've been observing so I locked on it. As I was taping it, it was flat zipping past stars at an incredible speed, several hundred miles an hour I would imagine. As I zoomed in on it, guess what? It was another triangle shaped object! It was about 11 o'clock high in the sky coming across in front of me. I had a lot of clear sky to tape it in. I didn't hear one peep of a sound coming from it as it passed.
There were lots of jets in the sky mostly going and coming from Dallas. There was a jet coming from Dallas heading east on the regular flight path and I noticed what looked like another jet a fairly good ways behind it on the same route. I noticed it wasn't blinking at all, so I locked on it. It was a glowing ball of light like I've sent you before, blue color. Here are some grabs for your inspection of the triangle.

Alto From Crockett on Texas 21 A Triangle Shaped Object With Red Lights

Hello: Say something similar months back on Texas highway 21 between Crockett and Alto, Texas. Very clear night object moving slowly northwest to southeast, maybe a couple of thousand feet. hear turboprop whine.
Additional Information:
February 12, 2004 2:20 am. I was returning from a conference in Austin; I was driving to Alto from Crockett on Texas 21 from U.S. 190 in Bryan.
Texas 21 from Crockett to Alto goes through the Big Thicket. In the daytime, it is a beautiful drive; at night, it is eerie, but deserted of trucks. I was stopped just past Weches after the woods end, I had pulled over at the Caddo mounds state park (a very large clearing) to get a new book-on-tape from the back seat when I heard a very low-flying turbine powered aircraft. The object was definitely a triangle with red lights, an was moving at a relatively slow speed. (I believe that there was some moonlight, but I cannot be sure, and I have not checked the tables. There likely were some clouds in what I would call the moderate overcast category. Visibility was about ten miles. Some light from Tyler, about 50 miles off was reflected in the clouds)
The craft was enormous; I would estimate that the object was two hundred feet from light to light. It was moving relatively off to the southeast. (I had a small Silva compass in the car and got a rough bearing.) I think the object may have boomer-rang shaped as it passed under cloud formations and was apparently giving off some light from its topside. It appeared to be tilted slightly off the horizontal.
Interestingly, the gas station attendant in Alto (about 9 miles away) said that they see the same thing all of the time, often in multiples which hover. (The Space Shuttle disintegrated over Alto, by the way. as I was at the same gas station on another trip)
I looked at a UFO reporting sight recommended to me by a client, Mr. Nicholas Redfern. There were reports later in that same early morning from the nw suburbs of Houston of a similar object. The reports seem to be in a straight line from where I was. Also, a couple of web sites have speculation about a surveillance vehicle that looks about the same as what I saw, projected into the night sky.
