Full Description of event/sighting: (We live in Houston, Gidding is about 1-1/2 hours east of Houston) My parents had this sighting back in April of 1972. I was only a 1-1/2 old. But in the back seat of the car. We have a lane that you drive up to get to our house on the largest hill in the area. As my mom and dad we're driving up the lane, a large object came out of no where, with a bright light that lit up the area around our car. The object hovered about 100 ft. (best guess by my mom) above our car (no sound) and followed the car for about a 1/4 mile before shooting straight up at a very high rate of speed and disappearing. No other sighting form this object were ever reported that I can find. My mother told me about this story about 15 years ago. Came across your sight about a year ago. Enjoy reading you site.
