Full Description of event/sighting: As I was standing outside last night, the sky was very clear. I have a habit of looking up at the night sky and saw a plane flying in the direction away from me and suddenly saw a flashing red light grouped with clear lights coming in the direction towards me and passing directly below the tail of the airplane. The object continued toward the direction of the moon, but it's movements at first were in what came to mind as being skittery. It jumped first left then right then left again, covering forward distance. It then continued in a straight line with high speed in the direction of the moon. It passed underneath the moons glow and I saw two vapour trails coming from the end. After a few seconds it reached it's destination and stopped and hovered. At this point I called a friend of mine and went inside because I was so freaked out.
