Two Men Find Bigfoot Tracks In The Snow At Index Washington
Date: December 1997
Time: Approx: 9:00 p.m.
I really don’t remember the circumstances, but a friend and I hooked up with a few local members of the BFRO.
We were interested in what research they were doing in the area, so we met up in Sultan, WA.
They said they were checking out a forest service road that apparently had a lot of recent activity. So we followed them up Forest Service Road #62. We got to the site and we started a small campfire.
We listened to the members discussing what they had learned of the location, and their own experience from visiting it a few days earlier. After a couple of hours we left.
A few days later my friend and I decided to go back up there ourselves. It was night with a little snow coming down. I only had a two-wheel drive truck, so we couldn’t get to the exact location where we were with the BFRO guys.
We were about a quarter of the way up a hill and could go no further. So we left the engine running, lights on so we could see, grabbed the video recorder and started walking up the road thinking that the top of that hill was our previous location.
We were approximately 100 yards from the vehicle and I noticed footprints in the snow! The footprints were coming down the side of road towards us and the turned and went straight up what I think was a logging skid opening.
It was probably a 45 degree embankment. I obviously took video of all of it. I got close up footage of them, and it was very clear that it had toes, heel and large. It was snowing so the tracks couldn’t have been very old.
On the other side of the road under the protection of a fir tree was more tracks, but were partially melted, which we assumed were a couple of days older, but we could not see any leading to those.
As we were looking and filming, we looked back at the truck with its lights glaring back at us, and we both got an eerie, unsettling feeling. I think we were so amazed and excited to find the prints, we didn’t realize that it was a scary situation at first. So we quickly got back in the vehicle and left.
Several months later hoping the snow had melted enough to re-visit the location, we went back. However, unfortunately the road was washed out at almost the beginning of the service road.
Anyways, there are my two encounters. I have no idea what I witnessed either time, but it is definitely something I will never forget. I moved to South Carolina three years ago and have been bigfoot free ever since.

Boomerang Shaped UFO Observed By Retired Military Men Over Petaluma California
Date: November 10, 2010
Time: 10:20 p.m.
Location of Sighting: Petaluma California.
Number of witnesses: 2
Number of Objects: 1
Shape of Objects: Boomerang.
Full Description of Event/Sighting: Standing outside in my backyard and admiring the clearness night sky’s of the stars with a buddy, when I notice a delta shaped (Boomerang shape, but not spinning) flying north from San Francisco over Petaluma and bearing to the right towards Sacramento, Ca.
It was a yellow-gold illuminated shape, but appeared to be semi- translucent and very dim, compared to the stars and a plane flying in an opposite direction towards S.F.
The UFO was traveling at a speed about as fast as civilian airplanes I have observed over the years. The lights did not flicker, no strobe light indicators or left and right indicator lights at tips of this flying wing. The underside was completely illuminated at about 1/10th the brightness of a star. Just a light halo of brightness. There was no moon out and it was way passed sundown at 2220 PST.
The wing appeared to be 5 times the size of the airlines plane that passed it either above or below. I could not tell the altitudes of either craft,, but the airliner was flying the same course that most planes in out area fly in when approaching S.F. Bay Area airports and the wing was flying in the opposite direction. I watch the planes all the time from my backyard in Petaluma.
My friend and I were both observers after I first spotted the UFO. It was about 15 to 20 seconds of viewing time. We both were in the US Air Force in the later 1960’s and worked on aircraft. We know shapes of the new stealth aircraft and this was a bit different and they are not illuminated like this craft was.
I don’t know if anyone else in this region saw this UFO, but I would like to find out if others have and what it possibly is.
If you have seen anything like this in the same area please be kind enough to contact Brian Vike at: sighting@telus.net with the details of your sighting. All personal information is kept confidential.

Shenandoah National Park, Virginia Frightening Sound/UFOs/Alien Abduction/Men In Black
Posted: February 8, 2009
Date: Mid 1970's
Time: Approx: 10:00 p.m.
I also want to say what a great job you have done and how much your efforts are appreciated. As (very) partial repayment, I'm forwarding my one and only significant story. The short version of which involves myself and my best friend from my teenage years (mid-1970's; I'm also an "old" guy...) on a backpacking trip in Shenandoah National Park, Virginia, which we did fairly frequently during those years. Two mildly unusual events occurred one evening after dark when we were camped in a very remote off-trail area. In the early evening (just after dark) there was an extremely high amount of static electricity, so much so that we could create persistent "glowing circles" on our insulating sleeping pads by rubbing them rapidly in circles with our hands. At the time, this just seemed pretty 'neat', and we dismissed it (I had never seen this before (or since). While in the tent, a few hours later, maybe 10PM, we had a candle lit and were talking.
Suddenly a sound occurred, close by, that I have tried to best describe as maybe 2 yodelers working in conjunction, sort of slow-modulating a more-rapidly modulated sound up and down (this definitely sounded living, and not mechanically-created). It was so odd that both my friend and I initially started laughing, and then suddenly became terrified (within about a 1 second interval) when we realized that no human (not even 2 professional yodelers) could not have been making the sound we were hearing and that this was not a human or any normal animal for the area (I still remember the rapid expression change from laughter to terror on my friend's face - wish I had a videotape of both of us at that instant - something to laugh about today).
Anyway, we immediately blew out the candle and lay quiet. As odd as it sounds, we both then fell asleep after what seemed a fairly short while (no more noises occurred during that time period and I recall we both fell asleep with our knives held in our hands). So far, and for many years, this was the entire story and I thought no more of it, except to try and find out what may have made that sound (I had always assumed an animal, and it still could be.)
Part 2 of this is that my friend's family moved to Florida later that year, and we gradually lost contact with each other for the next several years. I had gone to college and he had sort of drifted all around the U.S., doing everything from odd jobs such as house painting in the South and California to working on ranches in Montana. As I understand it, he did a lot of hitch-hiking to get from place to place and was often camping alone in remote areas during his travels. I spoke with him around 1986 or 1987 after he had returned to Florida and he was a very different person - basically primarily talking about aliens, having been abducted while hitchhiking at night in the desert Southwest, etc.
One thing that really was interesting to me in hindsight was that he described in great detail being currently (at that time) watched on multiple separate occasions by the classic 'Men in Black' at his parent's house in Florida, though he was totally unaware of the term at that time or that it was a 'known' phenomena (his voice was shaking when he described them, black car, black suits, sunglasses, sometimes parked on the far side of the street in front of his house). I had read a Budd Hopkins book in the last year or so and actually informed him at that time of the term 'Men in Black' (he had never heard of it) and also told him to look into reading the Hopkins book (I think it was Missing Time). After this time period, we sort of again lost contact and I haven't been in real contact with him since.
Part 3 About 4 or so years ago, his younger brother contacted me primarily for other reasons when he was traveling in my area. The continuation of the above story is that his brother is now completely "unemployable" as he will be apparently fine for short periods but will then go off into seemingly crazy conversations/discourses about aliens/UFO's, etc. (fine under some circumstances, but not well-received in most workplace environments). He has also had some health conditions, which may or may not have been correlated to the other experiences.
Part of what has kept me interested in this area is my friend's experience, as well as the continuing, cumulative 'preponderance of evidence' from all the other ongoing reports, sightings, etc. What has made me more recently interested in the early backpacking experience in connection with everything else was, in part, aspects of your 1000 Oaks, California report, in combination with my friends later unfortunate experiences through the years.
I just want to say thanks again to you and good luck with everything.
Thank you to the person for a very interesting report.
