Southwest Michigan Fireball/Meteor Sighting (March 11, 2007)

Posted: January 26, 2008

Date: March 11, 2007 Time: After 8:00 p.m.

On radar, do you know if it went down? I saw it last night just before dark, and to me, it looked like it went down not far from me.

I saw it from Southwest Michigan. The thing I saw was bright blue, and trailed off into orange. At the time I saw it, it looked almost like a flare. And it looked to me like it went down in a swampy area at the corner of a lake. It was flying on a North to South route.

Thank you to the witness for the information.
