UFO Fly's Through The Florida Sky

Time: Approx: 2:00 a.m.

I am online researching something I saw in the Florida sky in 1997 and found your blog. Someone wrote to you and described something that is similar to what I saw. Do you know what it may have been? I've often wondered if it was a satellite or a meteor. It was a small white light (the size of a small star) traveling from east to southwest at about 2:00 am. I watched it for approx. 30 seconds. It slowed down, began to zig zag, it became illuminated with a blue lightning and disappeared. I was not dreaming, I was very wide awake. I've seen shooting stars and meteor showers and have never seen anything like this. It moved with the speed of an airplane. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
