Location of Sighting: University City MO. Number of witnesses: 1 Number of objects: 1 Shape of objects: Triangular.
Full Description of event/sighting: I witnessed a pewter colored triangle with lights at each of three corners. It was solid and stationary. It remained so for between 30 to 45 seconds until moving slowly into the low cloud cover. It appeared low in the sky and was very visible.

Hello Brian,
I am well thank you. Bit of a strange night I had.
The object was definitely triangular with the corners rounded some, just enough to soften the three points of it. Just behind each point of the triangle on the underside were three lights closely grouped. They did hot blink and were an iridescent blue, not what you would think of as white light. It's size I would guess to be fifty feet between each point. It was indeed low in the sky and the lights reflected into the underside giving me the metallic color and the smooth featureless surface. It gave off enough light that I could see some depth to it, and there was no sound at all. I live along the path of incoming and outgoing traffic from Lambert airport, it was at about the altitude the planes are just after take off here. I live about six miles south east of the airport.
We had a rainy night last night and the cloud cover was low. When it did finally move slowly I could see the lights above the cloud until it dimmed to the point I could no longer see it. Holding up my thumb would not have blocked it's view from my sight.
