Blue Green Object Leaves Behind Streak In The Sky Over North New Jersey Followed By F-16 Fighter Jets

Hello, I came across your site doing a Google search on the UFO I witnessed tonight. On April 12th approximately 8:20 p.m.

 

I was driving home and happened to be looking out the window when I saw a blue-green object appear out of nowhere.

 

Almost simultaneously the object shot across the sky on a vertical ellipse leaving a blue green streak. It then just disappeared. I thought it may be a meteor, but I was confused because it behaved nothing like a shooting star or meteor shower.

 

About and hour later a F-16 like fight jet shook my house of its foundation! I looked outside to see the jet making a sharp turn towards the Manhattan area. It couldn't of been more than 2000 feet In the air.

 

I wish I could dismiss this, but Google seems to prove my sanity with dozens of identical reports.

Silvery Sphere UFO Escorted By A Military Jet Fighter Over Cambridge City Indiana

Time:  Approx: 5:00 p.m.

Hey Brian, I just stumbled upon this, and although it's old news (and, perhaps, irrelevant), I still had to respond.

My name is (name removed) and in the early summer of 2002,  I was living in Cambridge City, IN, which is near Richmond, which is near Dayton, OH.

Myself and three friends were crossing the street from a park, returning to my vehicle, when we saw this silvery sphere with no markings on it whatsoever.

It was there in the sky for about an entire minute and we watched as it was escorted, for lack of understanding, by a fighter jet.

We all assume it was from Wright Patt, but have no clue obviously. It was about 5:00 p.m., very light out still, low flying, and this thing made no noise we could hear over the jet's own.

I remember that it miraged it’s surroundings as if it was of a different temperature than the air.  You talk to anyone who has had a similar experience ?

Circular Object Shoots Upward Faster Than A Jet Fighter Over Ontario Oregon

Full Description of Event/Sighting: My wife and I were smoking a cigarette and I was talking to her. She said "What is that?" I turned around to see what looked like a shooting star.

 

However it was quite many times larger than a shooting star (the size difference between a dime and a Kennedy half-dollar) and it was "shooting" upwards instead of across the sky or downward as most shooting stars do.

 

Another observance I made was that this "shooting star" had no tail. There was just a ball of light shooting upwards many times faster than any fighter jet flies. After about 10 seconds of the ball shooting upwards, it gave off what seemed like a bit of light dust for 2 seconds and then was completely gone. Just disappeared.

 

It didn't fade away it just was gone. If you have any information on this sighting or any information that comes your way, please contact me as I am very curious and am a frequent sky observer.

Yuma, Arizona Naval F4 Fighter Pilot Watches Red Objects From His Home

Full Description of Event/Sighting: My father was a Naval F4 fighter pilot at Yuma's Naval Air Station. We lived on base housing and our housing unit looked south toward the Mexican border, over a chain link fence and on the other side miles of large citrus groves.

My dad had a nightly habit before bed of going out on the patio during the spring or fall when it cooled down to smoke his cigars/pipes. My mom wouldn't let him smoke in the house.

I was 9 at the time and would not even remember the event if my parents and the neighbors hadn't made such a big deal about it.

My mom called me down from my room, out on to the back porch, where my dad was standing out in the yard instead of sitting in his chair smoking. They pointed to a bright red light hovering toward the mountain range in the distance (maybe 15 miles away?). It was large enough to make out a disk shape (not a point like a star, but more like Mars with a discernable disc). It did not do much - just hovered perfectly still for a few minutes.

After a few minutes a small point of red light descended from the larger one toward the ground. I think it joined again (that is the story I had heard from my mom), but honestly, I do not remember where they went. I was only 9 and quite frankly lost interest after ten or so minutes of standing in the cold. My parents would not take their eyes off of it though, and stayed outside in the cold air for at least another hour talking about it. I went inside.

One reason I have never forgotten or dismissed the incident, is that the next day, my mom cut out a news paper clipping of a boarder patrol agent or police (can't remember which) that was much closer to the sighting and he described in detail exactly what we had seen. The paper also said that a large number of reports had been made to the police and a large number of inquiries were also called in to the naval base dispatchers and military police.

We never got any more information from the base or papers, or news, so I tucked it away in my memory, and only really think about it when I come across someone talking about a similar incident. I happened onto another post on your website by (name removed), that seems to describe what I believe is the same sighting.

This event may have been military testing, or something covert, but it was not fabricated. Thousands of people stood watching something they had never seen before that night in Yuma, some of which were naval pilots and ground crew living/working on the base that shared their experience with my dad.

I only post this so that (name removed) and others who might have been in Yuma during that time will know that other people saw this as well.

45 Miles North Of Owyhee, Nevada In Idaho Fighter Jets Shoot At UFO Ash Falling

Full Description of event/sighting: My Husband was driving our truck pulling our travel trailer and I was following driving our car. We were headed South on Idaho Highway 51 which becomes Nevada Highway 225 at the state border. We were about 45 miles North of Owyhee, Nevada. It was February 21, 2008, approximately 7:00 PM. We had passed the junction towards Mountain Home Airforce Base, Idaho about 40 miles back. Suddenly up and to my left were two bright glowing lights (flares I believe) drifting my direction. At first before I had time to reason out that they were only flares, I got scared. I hate to drive anyway and especially at night, so I began to flash my lights repeatedly at my Husband to get him to pull over. He did pull off on the first side road that we came to (on the left, East-side of the highway).

There hadn't been anyone else on the highway that night (even though the main road from Idaho, South down to Wells, Nevada, was closed due to a 6.0 Earthquake that very morning). After we had stopped, we stood outside and watched the flares just as we had watched the Lunar Eclipse one (or two?) nights prior. As we watched the sky, there began other activity behind a cloud. It appeared to be a few more flares. We could see the orange lights in motion behind the cloud. Then it got scary. A couple of jets came from the West really fast and really low. They made sonic booms that vibrated through us. They went to that area behind the cloud, where we couldn't see, and fired on something.

They quickly flew back over us headed the way they had come. Then, two more jets, while we could still see the first two jets lights going away from us, did exactly the same. Sonic booms and what we believe were weapons being fired. That second time there was a huge, huge boom and at the same time it turned momentarily daytime ! Seconds later, two more jets (maybe the first two again ?) went around the other side of the cloud and came back West. From the area in the sky where all the activity was, there came down mostly orange colored streaks and irregular shaped "pieces" trailing what looked like embers behind. We estimated the activity (the object that was fired upon) at about 300 feet up and about 1/4 mile East of the road. I did not want to continue driving separately, but my Husband was very urgent wanting to leave that area and wouldn't let me abandon our car. Before we were back onto the road and heading South again, cars began speeding North on the highway. Two and three at a time.

About 18 in all. We began to travel South. After a few miles, there was a "rain" of large leaf sized ashes, like snow drifting slowly down over us. We live in an area with numerous wildfires every summer, and we are both certain it was ash and not snow. Some more miles and we ran into very dense fog. As we got to the small town of Owyhee which is just a little across the border into Nevada, it had begun to snow. We spent the night there. The next morning our faces felt burnt (like gasoline on skin feels) and we looked like we had got too much sun, although, without the usual outline of our sunglasses. Our eyes were puffy and tender. Mine swelled up and stayed that way for over a month. Even though we tell ourselves that it was most likely some military training exercise, we are also concerned that we may have witnessed something that wasn't supposed to be seen. We didn't tell anyone about it because we are big fat chickens! I finally mentioned it in a report that I made last week to NUFORC on some unrelated night-time red lights in the Elko, Nevada vicinity. Sincerely.

Kokomo, Indiana Sonic Boom/Jet Fighters - Event Covered Up ?

HBCC UFO Research has received numerous reports on this event, one of the witnesses tells of a unknown craft that was seen in the area. So knowing the military the way we do, I am wondering if there is more to this event than we are being told. It certainly would not surprise me, and after reading the below information it makes one wonder even more. Again, if anyone living in the area has any information over the April 16, 2008 event would they please contact Brian Vike at hbccufo@telus.net as any and all information is needed.

In response to the sightings in Kokomo, IN on April 16th 2008, on the police scanner a little after 10pm, all available units (county, city and state police, from 2 different counties) were all scrambling to find the source of the sonic 'boom' They were discussing opening up two county schools football fields to open a search command post. About 45 mins into the search, a county official came over the radio and with a shaking voice, and "confirmed he was at the scene" Mind you, early in during the search, about 10:15pm, the police said they had contacted all major airports and no planes were in the area directly prior to the event. They specifically named Grissom AFB and the National Guard in Fort Wayne Indiana had been contacted and had no involvement. Suddenly after the official confirmed the info about the scene, they briefly kept calling it "an astronomical incident" and shortly after, all units were told they were dismissed from the search, and to return to their normal calls. All radio communication ceased, and the few officers talking were told to communicate with cellular phones. The night of April 16th, many unusual un-marker police cars were spotted around the Howard and Tipton county lines, as if they were guarding something.

The next morning, the National Guard released a statement saying it "may have been F-16 training in the area"

Hours later, they "confirmed it was government training"

Remember the first radio transmissions..."all airports and government establishments had been contacted, and denied any air action in that time period"

Hmm.

Interesting.

There were hundreds of 911 calls in Howard County Indiana within a 35 min time-span.

Kokomo, Indiana Jets A Boom And Witness Seeing Windows On A Craft

Number of objects: 9 flare like lights and 3 flashing lights.

HBCC UFO Research Note: Again, I would like to request if anyone else saw the event unfold would you please be kind enough to contact Brian Vike at hbccufo@telus.net The news reports started off with a possible meteor sighting, that did not fit at all. Now the latest in the media is the Indiana Air National Guard carrying out exercises. Well this may be, but I sure have learnt not to take everything at face value, was there a unknown craft in the area and "possible pursuit by the military aircraft ?

Full Description of event/sighting: I heard the Boom, went outside and heard and saw overhead what looked like flames from the jets 2 engines. Then to the West about 30 Degrees above the horizon I saw two sets of bright Orange shaded flares. The first set of 3 flares lit up one at a time from South to North. A few seconds later the second set of about 6 or 7 flares lit up very close together in a straight line North to South just below and a little north on the first set. The flares lasted for only about 10 to 15 seconds.

Also I noticed 3 blinking lights (like normal plane lights) in the West at about 15 degrees above the horizon. They were in a straight line spaced out about the width of my hand at arms length.

I saw similar flares and heard a jet last Fall in about the same location.

There were lots of reports of this incident. I talk to a person who was driving in the area very close to the objects. He claimed he could see windows on a craft with a lighted interior.

Maybe the jets were chasing something?

Harnett County, North Carolina UFO Shoots Straight Up When Fighter Jets Arrive

My daughter and I watched a UFO doing zig zag maneuvers something a plane couldn't do and then two air force fighter jets approached and the UFO went straight up in 2 seconds and disappeared this was just a month ago in May it was during the last full moon. We live in Harnett County in Broadway out in the country on a dirt road and at night you can hear a pin drop but there was no sound coming from this UFO at all.

Additional Information:

Hi Brian, It was May 10th at 10:15p.m. my best friend also saw the same event when she was leaving her home to go to work on third shift that night. I began telling her about it but she finished the event as it happened. My daughter and husband also saw it we were all sitting outside on our deck at the time.

35-40 Miles Southwest Of Grissom AFB - Fighter Jets, Lights, ETC.

Brian, I'll try my best to describe the incident. Basically, I was driving northbound on state road 39 on the evening of April 19, 2006. It was a clear night and I could see stars everywhere in the sky. I was driving into Frankfort, about 35-40 miles southwest of Grissom AFB. While I was driving I noticed a bright light in the sky just slightly west of the road. There were also two "lines" in the sky running parallel to each other. They ran from east to west and looked like lights. (Kind of like when you take a flashlight and turn it on and point it up to the dark sky.) They appeared to not be as high in the sky as an airplane would fly.

At that time I turned onto a county road so I could stop and watch for the light. I'm not sure how high the object was in the sky. I had noticed something similar to this in the past and questioned it then too, but never reported it. What I noticed was the light moving sporadically, not in a line like an airplane or helicopter. Then all of a sudden, the light went away. About 5 seconds later the light reappeared. Not only did the light reappear, it spread, on either side into a semi-circular shape, and there ended up being about seven lights.

The lights were bright yellow, then turned to a bluish tint. The lights were motionless and were only present for approximately three seconds, after the three seconds all of the lights immediately went away. Before I witnessed the lights, I noticed several airplane lights (red and blue flashers) in the sky. After the lights in question went away, there were no airplane lights visible. About 45 seconds to one minute later, I noticed two lights moving parallel to one another (fighter jets) extremely fast towards the area where I witnessed the semi-circle of lights. Once the jets were gone, other airplanes returned. The entire experience lasted for about 10 minutes.

The odd thing about this is the day after this took place I was telling the story to one of my friends. It turns out that he had witnessed the same thing I did.
