Date: Over past 2 weeks. (November 2007) Time: Usually after 7:30 p.m.
Location of Sighting: North, Northeast of Town of Delmar, distant. Number of witnesses: 3 Number of objects: Up to 3 at once. Shape of objects: No visual shape from such a distance, just lights.
Full Description of event/sighting: Well, my mother first noticed a bunch (3 grouped) over our house in a general sense. Then over the next couple weeks I have seen 2 lights about an average of 3 times a week. The first time I saw, I was walking the dog after dark, probably about 8-9pm and saw the 2 lights directly north. I noticed them there for about 10-15mins, then one just went out, like someone turned the lights off. The other didn't go out till after I went back inside. Saw a couple times similar to that experience.
Just the other night we where at my aunts house (our neighbor) and when we came outside noticed it there and we all watched for a minute. After she returned back out after about 1 minute, the lights turned off again. I can say that it is not anything I have seen around here before. We live south of Dover Airforce Base and see lots of aircraft fly directly overhead. It was not the normal lights seen with other aircraft in the air at the same time, more intense lights that kind of switch between colors. From orange to yellow with other colors mixed to. I kept track of it one time for about 1 hour, with absolutely no movement and disappears like turning out a light. It is pretty high in the sky, probably like 30-40 degrees from my level in the sky and would say more than 5 miles away. I am keeping an eye out now and am currently charging the batteries in the camcorder and hope to get some video. I will update with new information.
