Fast Moving Object Explodes In A Blue And Pink Color Over Sacramento California

Date:  September 30, 2014
Time:  Approx: 9:00 p.m.

I'm in Sacramento and last night about just before 9:00 p.m. I saw an object, fast moving through the sky as a round light and it looked very high up to me and I thought it was a satellite, which I have seen before looks like a fast moving star.

As I watched it move through sky, it suddenly blew up there was a blue, then pink explosion.

The object seem to grow 5 times bigger and blew up only lasted about 2 second and then it was gone. I don't suspect it was a weather balloon moving that fast and the containment of the explosion with no falling on fire debris suggest to me this was out of our atmosphere in a vacuum which quickly put out the explosion.

Anyhow, no news reports of anything today anywhere. It was pretty strange stuff. I look at the sky often and I never seen anything like it. My wife and I are still baffled by it.

Entire Sky Lit Up In A Light Blue Color Over Near Mulino Oregon

My daughter just saw the same light about 15 minutes ago. She said the whole sky lit up in a blue color.

My daughter and her boyfriend saw this near Mulino, Oregon around 12:30 a.m. February 16th, 2013. She and her boyfriend were driving home from the movie theater in Oregon City. 

They were driving in separate cars, when they both saw it, and they said that the whole sky lit up in a light blue color, they described it like lightning, but it was light blue.

Object Changes Color From Blue/White To Green/Orange Seen In The Sky Over New York City New York

Last night at around 6:33 p.m. I saw a bluish white streak in the sky traveling very fast. Out was heading directly from north to south. I was facing east on second Ave., towards the water.
At first I thought out was way to big to be a shooting stars. Right before it escaped my view it seemed to explode and it changed colors from bluish white to green and orange.

Red Object Turns To A Amber/Fire Color Over Daytona Beach Florida

Time:  After midnight.

At about 4 minutes after midnight on January 1, 2013 I was standing out in the open under parking lot lighting and saw a constant red light that then turned to a amber/fire color.

It traveled almost the same path the space shuttle would when launched from KSC. I live in Daytona Beach, Florida and this object wasn’t travelling as fast as the space shuttle and did not have a long fire trail behind nor did it leave any fume clouds.

It traveled from southeast to northeast it was over the ocean definitely.

UFO Dull Silver In Color With Windows Hovered Above Our Camping Tent

Time: Night

I was about 10-14 years old when this happened. I was having a sleep over one night. Had two friends over. We decided to take our sleeping bags outside and have a sleep over on the lawn.

One of my friends decides she's thirsty and goes in to get herself and us orange sodas.

My other friend and I stayed outside. We were laying in our sleeping bags talking to each other when at the same time, we both noticed something directly above us hovering.

We look up casually, and what we saw was remarkable. It was a UFO. No doubt in my mind. It was huge. Bigger than the size of a baseball field. It’s shape was so weird.

Wasn't any shape I've seen before.

I forget how many sides it had, but there was a few. We saw lights and windows, and even where the metal pieces were put together to make the ship one. It was dull silver.

And hovered over us about 200 feet up (if that).

We starred at it for a good 10 seconds before we examined it enough to realize what it was. We looked at each other and screamed. Mine barley came out because I was so terrified and we hide under our covers.

It felt like eternity hiding under those covers, but when we eventually looked to see if it were still there, and it wasn't anywhere in sight we ran inside. We told our other friend and my mother what happened.

Neither believing us, but we knew what we saw and drew dozens of pictures of it the rest of the night. I wish I still had those drawings.

Object Was Bright Red In Color Seen In The Sky Over Greer South Carolina

Time:  Approx: 9:10 p.m.

Last night at about 9:10 p.m. in Greer, South Carolina I also saw the same light that the witness described.

It was to the left of the moon, and it was wearing a bright red color.

I called my boyfriend and his daughter, my parents, and my daughter outside so they all witnessed it as well. By the time my parents got outside, the red light began to twinkle and then fade ever so slightly. 

The light was stationary, but it appeared to move up a bit from its' original spot.

I have tried doing research on my phone on, but I have not found anything that would describe what we saw. If you do come up with an explanation, I would be interested in finding out what you discover. 

My dad and boyfriend thought maybe it was a rocket that was launched from Cape Canaveral, Florida.

Object Orange Flame In Color Flying Over Falmouth Massachusetts

Time:  Approx: 8:45 p.m.

On September 1, 2012 we saw 3 UFO’s flight path East to West. Time was around 8:45 p.m. These too were also like you described orange flame in color with no sound what so ever.

Sighting lasted around 2 minutes. Thought first that they might be satellites, but I would put them at around 2000 feet so it couldn’t be. All followed the same path except one that stopped and went straight up ,that one was second in line, third one followed first in straight line.

This isn’t the first time me and my friends have seen objects like this in and around Falmouth. This has been ongoing for years. Your description of your objects are spot on to ours of last week.

Sky Lights Up A Bright Green Color Over Schaumburg Illinois

It then faded away with a darker green color and one of my friends called me asking if I saw it

Sky Lit Up A Bright Blue/Green Color Over Arden North Carolina

Time:  10:50 p.m.

This event happened on December 21, 2012. I live in Arden, NC I went out to smoke at 10:50 p.m. and when I stepped outside I see an entire area of sky light up with a bright blue/green color. I went inside to get a camera and to wake somebody else up to see it.

Sadly my camera was dead, but the flashes happened 6 more times. The flashes stopped at 10:55 p.m. There was no thunder or any noise for that matter following the flashes. You could tell there was a center, because that was where the flashes were the brightest.

Two of the flashes lasted approximately 3 seconds the others were quick, only lasting 1 second or less. I have never seen anything like this before and have been looking for an explanation for it, but I can not find one.

Giant Fireball Red In Color Turned Blue Speeding Downward Over City Of Hercules California

I just saw the same thing over northern California tonight- December 19, 2012 around 5:10 p.m.

I was traveling westbound on HWY 80 and near the city of Hercules a giant ball of fire appeared in the sky, reddish in color for a split second then bright blue with a white center as it came straight down.

There was no tail just a ball of glowing blue. It looked like it was going to land in a neighborhood, but then vanished all of a sudden.

I've been looking for any reports online about it, but nothing so far. I've seen falling stars and meteor showers before and this object was not the same.

Object Was Deep Teal In Color And Flew Over Unionville Tennessee

Around 6:10 a.m. in Unionville, Tennessee, on October 30, 2012 I was driving to work and while looking up at the moon while at a stop sign I saw a bright bluish green ball of light travel from west to east.

It had the behavior of a meteorite, but it moved much too slow and had no trail or tail.

It was very fast, but not as fast as a meteorite.

It's size from the ground was the same as if you held a small marble out at arms length.

It was brighter than the moon and was a deep teal color.

Object Was White/Blue In Color Flying Over East Brunswick New Jersey

 

Date:  April 12, 2012

Time:  Approx: 8:25 p.m.

 

Brian, I am a 52 year old man and have resided in East Brunswick all my life. 

Around 8:25 p.m. on April 12, 2012 I witnessed what at first thought was a shooting star. I walked a few steps closer and realized that it was way to low to be a shooting star and much larger. 

 

From my perspective, it appeared to be white and blue in color.

 

It was moving slowly at first, heading towards the ground at a 35-40% angle.

Then it began to pick up speed and then it was gone. I heard no sound at all. I have never seen anything like this in my life. 

I think the whole episode may have lasted no more than 10-15 seconds.  

I'm still I'm disbelief at what I saw.  

I called a friend to tell him what I saw and he said to report it, but I did not. He sent me this today and when I read the Freehold sighting then I knew what I saw was real.

Meteor Changed From White To Green In Color Over Virginia Beach Virginia

 

Date: August 3, 2008
Time: Approx: 10:00 p.m.

 

I noted the bright meteor that some of you describe at about 22:00 EST on August 3, from Virginia Beach, VA. Very bright (mostly white to green) moving generally to the NNE. This was with locally bad seeing conditions of haze and city lighting too.

 

It caught my eye already coming overhead just below zenith to the ENE as I was facing north looking at naked eye stars, and continued to below the tree line near the horizon, lasting several seconds. Variations in intensity becoming especially bright before going out of sight.

 

Some breakup noted resembling sparking. Not much of a trail. No sound noted here.

As far as these orange lights some are seeing, I know the ISS passed over and into darkness here just after the meteor event, coming from somewhere around the direction of NW, heading SE, and going into shadow during that pass. It had passed over earlier in the evening as well.

 

I know it looked more orange here than usual because of the because of atmospheric conditions at the time.

Lights Were Pumpkin Orange In Color Seen From Burnsville New Mexico

I also saw these lights on Christmas Eve. They were in the southeast sky.  There were 3 of them not flying in a pattern.

 

Additional Information:

 

Brian, the lights we saw were in Burnsville, MN. They were in the southeast sky moving north. This took place at around 10:00 p.m. CT. The lights were pumpkin orange in color. We thought they were planes (because we live by the airport), but they were flying too close together and not in a line. 

 

They then disappeared one by one. There were no clouds in the sky, so there was nothing for the lights to hide behind.

Object Appeared Green In Color With Debris Falling Off Over Prescott Arizona (Meteor)

 

Date:  December 31, 2011

Time:  Between 8:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.

 

I was in Prescott, AZ when I saw it. It was going from south-ish to north-ish across the sky. I would describe it as moving very fast, not slow.

 

It was green and appeared to burn out with some fragments coming off of it. (It might not have burned out, but rather my view may have been obstructed by a mountain. Not sure.)

Clearly looked like a big meteor to me. Was still amazing to see. Very memorable.

 

Pretty sure it was part of the Quadrantid meteor shower.

It was sometime between 8:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., but don't know exact time. It lasted for about 5 seconds I'm guessing.

I could not really see a tail.

Blinking Light Changing Color South Eastern Oneida County Northern Wisconsin

Time: 12:45 a.m.

There is something in the sky as I am writing this. I am in far south eastern Oneida county in northern Wisconsin, the object is a blinking light seeming to change colors, it is fairly low in the sky in a west, southwest direction from me. It is staying in the same place, but if I look at it long enough it appears to dart around a small area then stay still again. This could be merely an optical illusion from staring at it in the dark though I suppose.

Deep Orange In Color Objects Over Gig Harbor Washington

Date: January 1, 2011

Time: 12:10 a.m. - 12:30 a.m.

Location of Sighting: Gig Harbor Washington.
Number of witnesses: 2
Number of Objects: 13 or 14.
Shape of Objects: Round.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: On New Year's Eve at midnight, I looked out my window to view Henderson Bay (Puget Sound) where there are often displays of fireworks on the 4th of July and New Year's Eve. I checked to see if I could see any such displays. There were none, but an orange light appeared coming from an easterly/westerly direction. Intrigued, I watched it move across the sky and then go in a more upward direction.

Another appeared from the same direction as before followed by another then another spaced almost evenly apart for the first few. I awakened my 14 year old daughter who watched the rest with me. She got her camera to use the zoom for a closer view, but it wasn't strong enough to see much more detail. We watched together as 2 came across the horizon fairly close together and seemed to slow a bit above the bay and then move on as the other had. We continued to watch them until either the 13th or 14th came by. They stopped after that.

The last two were spaced more apart in timing than the rest. All went in the same direction, some went up higher sooner than others and some continued below the cloud line. I had opened the window to hear if there was any sound, but other than the normal pops here and there or fireworks, the sky was silent. No motor sounds, airplanes or helicopters. There were no flashing lights on these objects. Only a deep orange glow.

The next night I watched the sky and viewed airplanes and helicopters just to make sure that I didn't mistake what I saw (however that many in a row would have been odd even if it were planes or helicopters!) and there is no chance that what we saw were planes or helicopters. We have never seen anything like this before. It was eerie, yet amazing!
