Date: March 30, 2006 Time: Approx: 9:40 - 9:45 p.m.
I talked to the fellow who resides in Peru, Indiana, he hadn't seen anything in Peru, so he decided to take the 20 minute drive down to Kokomo, Indiana to see if he might be able to witness the orange colored objects that have been reported to me here at HBCC UFO Research, and it appears that the light are continuing to be observed.
The gentleman arrived in Kokomo and had pulled his vehicle off to the side of the road and started to watch the sky. The fellow mentioned that numerous people stopped their cars to ask if he was having vehicle problems, which he wasn't.
The witness mentioned that while waiting he saw a bright light flying in the southern part of the sky, he started filming this bright round light. At first, it didn't appear to be moving, but eventually he could see the object making a turn and this is when he was able to see some blinking lights on the object. At this point, he believed that the round light was caused by a normal aircraft.
The fellow gets back into his car, still waiting to see if he might be lucky enough to see the lights everyone was talking about. I should point out that the witness arrived at the side of the road in Kokomo at approximately 8:30 - 8:45 p.m.
Here the man sits inside his car, looking all around through the windows, still hoping he might see something. All of a sudden what he thought was glare from the passing cars lights, turned out to be a set of lights off into the west in the distance over the horizon. The witness reports six lights which were an amber/orange in color, like the color of a flame, and he said the entire event happened so fast. Matter of fact when he first spotted the lights, he quickly moved out from inside his car and ran to the front of the vehicle and it was at this time the lights disappeared.
I asked the witness what his thoughts might be on what these lights might be. He told me he was sure that this was no aircraft or flares, or anything else he could think of. Also something to note, when the lights started to disappear it was like a domino effect.
Thank you to the witness for the report.
