Weather Conditions: A little cloudy, but not raining.
Description: My co-worker and I work on the 16th floor of a hi-rise building in downtown Portland. We have large picture windows above our cubicles. My colleague and I spotted a black saucer-like object that appeared to be 8 to 10 feet in diameter, floating horizontally across the sky, while dipping slightly along the way. We watched it for approximately 1 minute before it disappeared behind a neighboring building about 4 blocks away. After the sighting, we discussed several possibilities of what the object may have been - but one by one, ruled out each one by deductive reasoning as to size, shape and movement.
