Date: February 14, 2006 Time: Approx: 5:20 p.m.
Location of Sighting: parking lot of Kings Table (buffet) in Chico. Number of witnesses: 3 Number of objects: 1 Shape of objects: Cigar or narrow long rectangle.
Full Description of event/sighting: Came out of Buffet and the women were looking to the northeast and commenting on the dark threatening cloud front there. Scanning the sky at about 30 degrees from that point to the west there was some isolated clouds at north/northwest and right above them was this object: golden/yellow in color much, much brighter than the tint of clouds. I asked the ladies what is that as I pointed it out to them, as something distracted my attention I heard the 23 year old (skeptic no more) exclaim "where did it go, where did it go"? And as I looked back up it was gone.
She said it was there and then it wasn't there. Made a believer out of her if she wasn't one already. The sighting lasted about 15 seconds. It was about 8-10 miles away and about the size of a #2 pencil eraser held at arms length, this thing was BIG. I think we are starting to have activity here in the north valley of California. That is all there is to this one. Keep up Your Good Work.
