Shiny Green Cigar Shaped UFO Stationary Over Gallipolis Ferry On The Ohio River West Virginia

Date:  Summer of 1966
Time:  Evening.

Hello, my sister and I were teenagers and visiting our grandparents in the summer and had attended a dance at the Gallipolis ferry on the Ohio River.

In the clear evening sky was a cigar shaped shiny green object that didn't move.

It was not like anything else in the sky and stayed there for the entire evening. It was still there when we drove home that night in the country.

My sister and I both remember it quite clearly and though we weren't aware of all the rumors of UFOs, concluded that was what it was.

If you have seen anything like this in the same area please be kind enough to contact Brian Vike at: sighting@telus.net with the details of your sighting. All personal information is kept confidential.

Also, please feel free to send in your sightings that have happened years ago. So many of these older sightings are nothing short of amazing.

Red Cigar Shaped Objects In The Sky Over Fort Lauderdale Florida

Date:  End of June 2012 and July 16, 2012
Time:  Evenings.

Hello my name is (name removed). I live in the Ft. Lauderdale area. Around the end of June. I was sitting out back and I saw a very luminescent red cigar shaped object flying to slow to be an aircraft and it flying fairly low.

I couldn't take my eyes off of it as I watched it did disappear into a storm that was coming. About three minutes later here comes another one in the exact same line as the first, then the third one came!

I was so amazed as to what I had the opportunity to witness. Then a few days later my boyfriend and I were taking out the trash and I saw them again.

I said look there they are. He also was intrigued and couldn't take his eyes off of them. The last time I saw them was on July 16th while driving home from Pembroke Pines Fl. I hope I Get the chance to see them again so I can capture them on my camera phone.

Anyway, I hope this sounds like what you had seen.

If you have seen anything like this in the same area please be kind enough to contact Brian Vike at: sighting@telus.net with the details of your sighting. All personal information is kept confidential.

Helicopter Chasing Two Glowing Blue Cigar Shaped UFOs Over Knightdale North Carolina

Date:  March 14, 2012
Time:  12:00 a.m.

Hi, I live in Knightdale, NC and just saw something very strange (03-14-12). I was watching TV at exactly 12:00 a.m. and heard a very, very loud sound of a helicopter, so loud that I felt the need to go outside and investigate.

When I went outside I saw a helicopter approaching my neighborhood at a very high speed, it was like it was giving it all it had.

I continued to watch it, and as it flew right over my house I was able to see 2 cigar shaped objects that were glowing blue with what looked like red lights at their tails, the helicopter was flying very close behind as if it were chasing them!

I was only able to see the UFOs for about 10 - 20 seconds as they were passing over my house, then they seemed to vanish!

Although I was able to see the helicopter's lights at a distance way before and after passing over my home.

I have no idea what I just experienced, but felt the need to share it with someone who may appreciate/or shed some light on what I am experiencing. Thanks.

Hovering Cigar Shaped UFO Spotted Over North Carolina

Date:  Roughly 1990’s

Yes I saw a very similar object about 20 years ago. I was taken a trip to North Carolina and what I saw was a oblong object hovering in the sky.

Now mind you, I may have been in the beginning of North Carolina on route 95 south.

I mentioned the site to a fellow passenger and asked him to pull over and he did, this object had 2 sets of lights red on one end and blue on the other. As we kept the focus on the object, it seemed to be hovering, then started moving in sideways motion and at that time.

I knew it was not anything we were used to seeing in our friendly skies. (I do believe they exist)

If you have seen anything like this in the same area please be kind enough to contact Brian Vike at: sighting@telus.net with the details of your sighting. All personal information is kept confidential.

Cigar And Triangular UFOs Observed Over Clovis New Mexico (Area Map In Report)

Date: 1973-1977
Time: N/A.

Brian, my wife was online this evening looking at video of the supposed UFO in Jerusalem flying over the Dome of the Rock. I related to her my own UFO sightings in Clovis, NM when I was around 17 years old. I asked her to Google "UFO sighting Clovis NM" and that is how I found out about you.

I was reading some articles online where you shared other people's stories of the UFO sightings in the Clovis, NM area in 1976. I lived in Clovis from 1973 to 1977. During that time I saw UFO objects on at least 4 separate occasions and each one was different and very amazing to me.

They are pretty clear in my head like it was yesterday. The only thing I don't remember are the exact dates, but I know they were during the 1973-1977 timeframe with 3 sightings possibly during the January 1976 event though I remember more like two weeks of sightings instead of two days.

1 - Large Cigar shaped Black UFO hovering over power lines in broad daylight while I was plowing a field west of Rhea, TX just over the state border in NM. I will attach a map screenshot of the exact area. (I believe this was some time before the next three events.) Stayed over power lines for several minutes and then saw a heat wave and it left very quickly and disappeared into the distance heading south to southeast. Farmer across the road saw it too but I did not talk to him.

2 - Large Triangle shaped UFO at night hovering over my home in Clovis. Very slow, silent movement and some lights. Slowly drifted away into the night. Could not hear it at all even though it was not very far up in the air above my brother and me.

3 - Inverted Top shaped UFO in the afternoon or evening in a field outside of Clovis. Multi-colored light streaming from bottom of craft and resembled glitter. Beautiful. Saw it with binoculars while parked near railroad tracks. My brother was with me.

4 - Bright white light UFO in the night sky. I saw it from my front yard in Clovis through binoculars. The object was clearly being pursued by a military aircraft (I could see the jets afterburners when it turned). The UFO light would make 90 degree turns and move very fast and the jet would pursue and make slow curved turns. After several 90 degree turns the object waited for the jet to catch up and suddenly the jet disappeared (literally) and the object remained alone.

Then the object left at a very high rate of speed and disappeared into the distance. Scary and amazing. I don't remember any report in the news about a missing jet even though I was looking for one.

This is the first time I've ever written this down even though I have shared this story with family and some friends over the years. Quite a memorable time for sure. I remember everyone was out looking for UFO's and the police were looking as well.

If you have seen anything like this in the same area please be kind enough to contact Brian Vike at: sighting@telus.net with the details of your sighting. All personal information is kept confidential.

Metallic Cigar/Saucer Shaped UFO Over Plummers Cove Jacksonville Florida

Date: December 31, 2010
Time: 2:30 p.m.

Location of Sighting: Jacksonville Florida.
Number of witnesses: 2
Number of Objects: 1
Shape of Objects: Cigar/saucer shaped.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: We were driving over the Buckman Bridge (I-295) heading east. As we (my fiancé and myself) were coming over the span heading east-bound (on the east side) I looked out over an area called Plummers Cove, which was just to the east-north-east of our location on the bridge, when I spotted a cigar shaped object hovering low on the horizon, just over the tree line.

At first, I thought it was just a P-3 Orion Naval aircraft (we were just south of NAS Jax). But upon further inspection, it was not an aircraft. I was able to triangulate it's precise location as I was coming down the bridge, because there were tall objects in the distance (the south side radio tower farm) and I had a vantage point that was the same height as the object, which allowed me to see trees in the distance behind the object, which made it easy to tell the object was in front of them and just over the tree line just east of the river, about 50 feet above the trees.

The object was metallic and cigar/saucer shaped and had what looked like little protrusions coming from the bottom of the object. There was no vertical stabilizers and it was not a blimp. The object was about the size of a car in relation to the trees it was over and the trees that were behind it, in the distance. The object remained stationary over the the trees. Even as we were moving at a rate of about 65mph, the object never moved from it's spot.

Our visual of the object was lost when we went lower than the tree line on the far east side of the bridge (here the bridge is about 30 feet off the water).

I'm a pilot, I'm very well trained in aircraft recognition and have never seen anything like this. It was very strange.

Later that night, strange lights were also seen in the area by several people, that I later read about.

If you have seen anything like this in the same area please be kind enough to contact Brian Vike at: sighting@telus.net with the details of your sighting. All personal information is kept confidential.

Cigar Shaped UFO With Red Lights On It Over Murrieta California

Date: January 3, 2011
Time: 9:00 p.m.

Location of Sighting: Murrieta California.
Number of witnesses: 1
Number of Objects: 1
Shape of Objects: Unsure.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was in my back yard when I noticed a very bright light in the sky. At first I thought it was a very bright star. Then I noticed it was moving in a northerly direction. I thought it may be a plane until I realized it was way too bright. I went into the house to get my binoculars, but couldn't find them.

Then I looked for my camera and realized I left at a Christmas party. I went back outside and the object was still moving in the same direction. I noticed what seemed to be a meteor that looked like it fell from the object. It passed behind a tree and I saw it when it went past the tree. I noticed what looked like two flares, one shooting upward and one shooting downward.

Then the light became very bright and disappeared. I immediately saw a small red light after it disappeared, then it also disappeared. It appeared to be a cigar shape, with very bright lights all the way around it. They did not diminish when the object headed away from me, as lights from an airplane would.

I didn't hear any noise, but the object may have been to far away. I don't believe it was a plane or helicopter. I thought it may have been a blimp moving fairly quickly, but it would have had to have some very bright lights all the way around it. I didn't see anything on the news, and felt I should report it to somebody.

If you have seen anything like this in the same area please be kind enough to contact Brian Vike at: sighting@telus.net with the details of your sighting. All personal information is kept confidential.

Cigar Shaped UFO Observed Over Altoona Blair County Pennsylvania

Date: June 27, 2010
Time: Approx: 1:30 a.m.

I was looking online to see if anybody else saw a UFO over Altoona, PA. about 1:30 am. June 27. We were traveling on I99 and my children and husband saw this overhead. My husband said it was a brightly lit cigar shaped object. My son described it as “a light bulb hanging in the sky”

My daughter called it a “streetlight” hanging in the sky. My husband veered off the road momentarily trying to look at it, he wanted to stop, but I made him keep driving. Has anybody reported anything here, trying to find out if what we saw is explainable. Thanks.

If you have seen anything like this in the same area please be kind enough to contact Brian Vike at: sighting@telus.net with the details of your sighting. All personal information is kept confidential.

Marcy New York Cigar Shaped UFO As Large As A Football Field

Posted: March 18, 2009

Date: N/A
Time: N/A

I too have seen a cigar shaped object in the sky over Marcy NY, this object was about 1/2 mile high in the sky and did not have any lights on it. It was the size of a football field and made not a noise. I thought I heard a humming, but if pushed for an answer, I would have to say it made no noise. I was traveling west as the sun was setting and I seen out my drivers side window, a large cigar shaped something that moved slowly to my right, north, towards I thought was the direction of Griffis Air base. Anyways as it passed over, I had to pull over to get out and see. I did notice that another vehicle also had stopped, it was headed in the opposite direction than me.

I want to say that it had a shadowy grey appearance to it. It's center edge stuck out a little, almost like looking at a submarine sandwich and it hovered over for no longer then a minute and in an instant it darted to the north, you could see it move out of sight at it's same elevation, but it moved and I mean moved. I never seen something that size move from a standstill to super speed in my life, I got in my truck and raced over to a friend in Whitesboro and told him what I had seen, he seemingly believed me. I had a feeling that I had better not make a big deal about this, what I had seen changed me a little in what I would believe, but I knew that when you harp on something people get spooked away from you.

I bring this story up now because the night of the shuttle launch, or the very next morning I had noticed a very bright light in the sky, almost like a star. It trailed from west to east and sped fast across the sky. I know it wasn't a jet and I am guessing it was not the shuttle, it may have been, but I am not sure. Well anyways that sighting brought back my cigar shaped sighting. I wish I could remember the year I saw it, I know it was at least 15 years or so, give or take another 5 years, this is the first time I am telling this to an outfit that tracts this research. I am 52 and its too late to accuse me of being a crack pot now. I have my time in at work and this info seems to be out there more often. I should say that before this sighting I was a believer in God and His Son, and still today I am still a believer. I always look up.

Thank you to the witness for their sighting report.

Clayton New Mexico A Silver Cigar Shaped UFO Vessel (Diagram)

Date: Summer, 1996
Time: Approx: 3:00 p.m. (Afternoon)

Location of Sighting: One mile west of Clayton, New Mexico.
Number of witnesses: 1
Number of objects: 1
Shape of objects: Silver cigar shaped vessel.

Full Description of event/sighting: Hi there Brian, I hope I'm not wasting your time because this sighting happened in 1996.

I am only now investigating the possibilities because a friend of mine in California, after I told him my story, encouraged me to do so. He feels I should at least explore it.

I never have looked into it because I'm quite skeptical of UFO sightings in regard to the sightings being alien in nature.

I don't know what I saw that day, but I was content to accept it as experimental aircraft of some kind. That said, for what it's worth, here's my story (and thanks for listening, for investing the life, time and energy into reading this--always a costly investment, life, time and energy, and so of course deeply appreciated).

Mid-summer, 1996, a mile west the town of Clayton, New Mexico.

Back in 1996 I was living in New Mexico, in the northeast corner of the state in a tiny cattle town called Clayton, the CO2 capital of the world, or so they claim. We owned a Mom and Pop motel there, about a mile west of town.

The name of the motel was (and still is) The Holiday Motel. You can drive through Clayton, New Mexico to this very day and spend a night at the motel if you want.

The motel is open for business and it looks almost exactly the same as it did when I ran it back in '96.

Anyway, the motel is pretty isolated, a mile from town with only cows and flies to keep you company, lots of wind to make you feel alone, and long, long, long and cold blue skies to make you wonder.

I ran the motel alone most of the time. I did have my best buddy, Thor, by my side, my old Rotti, the best dog I've ever had, but other than that, I was alone for long periods of time.

I walked Thor every afternoon. It was 3:00 pm that day, a little windy, a nice and warm summer's day and not a cloud in that long, cold blue sky.

Thor and I stopped walking and I sat my butt on the motel's wooden fence, facing north but looking west, looking over my left shoulder into the soon-to-set sun.

Thor sat next to me, leaning his big head and muscled upper body on my left thigh, something he often did.

North of the motel there's a mountain called Rabbit Ear. It has an enormous amount of recent human history imbedded in its soil, named after a Native American Chief who fought the settlers wagoning-by on the Santa Fe Trail.

A lot of Native Americans and early American settlers died on the mountain and around it's wide base. It's also a holy site for some Native Americans and shamans.

For those reasons, and whatever other reasons there may be, it's a powerful place. I've hiked all over it and always felt it's power, the presence of it, its memory perhaps.

On the day I saw my UFO, I was just hanging with my dog on a beautiful summer's day in northeastern New Mexico, didn't have a lot to do, not a lot on my mind, relaxed, at ease, pretty darn happy. And then I turned to look at Rabbit Ear Mountain.

I saw this silver cigar-shaped thing in the sky, floating over Rabbit Ear, floating over the top of the mountain, one end pointing west, the other end pointing east. It didn't magically appear.

I originally looked west and then turned and looked at Rabbit Ear, and that's when I first saw this thing.

It moved over the mountain, casting a shadow, moving slow, slow, slow. I remember frowning when I first saw it because it was so close, so big, moving so slow, and I didn't immediately recognize it. I mean, I knew it was an aircraft right away.

I didn't even question that, not initially: Aircraft. I knew I saw technology. But when I look at a plane or a boat or a car I immediately recognize the technology-why, that's a jet plane or a racing boat or a sports car, you get what I mean, and that didn't happen when I first saw this thing.

And that continued not to happen. I kept on seeing an aircraft, I was sure, but one I didn't recognize, which I found a little strange.

I thought, "Well, okay, that's a blimp. Has to be." Because it looked like a blimp, right? A big blimp. A cigar-shaped blimp. And then I wondered, "What the heck is a blimp doing out here?" And then I started to give the thing a serious look-over because at that point my curiosity was piqued, mostly because it didn't look like a blimp at all.

It looked like a silver cigar. It looked just like the UFOs I've heard about, those silver cigar-shaped UFOs. I crossed my arms and went all steely-eyed skeptical.

"No way. Nope. That's no UFO. That's a blimp. Has to be." I laughed, maybe a little too much, too strongly.

You have to realize that the mountain and the UFO were not very far away. Rabbit Ear Mountain is a few miles from the motel, right across the street to the north. You could cross the highway, hop the fence, hop a couple more fences, cross another distant road, walk to the base and hike to the top in an afternoon, and you wouldn't be winded either because the slopes are so gradual. You'd make it home before sunset.

The mountain also rests in the wheat-coloured grass of the high planes, so: no trees to block the view, just mellow, easygoing high and empty planes. You can see cows stroll along the rocky top from where I sat.

Rabbit Ear Mountain isn't very big, but even so, at the top it's at least 800 feet across from edge to edge, west to east. I've walked it. About 800 feet, maybe a 1000, but that's pushing it, I think. The thing is, the aircraft I saw floating over the top of Rabbit Ear stretched the entire top-length of the mountain.

That would make it nearly 1000 feet long. That's a whole mile. That would mean the aircraft was about one mile in length and that couldn't be possible.

"Optical illusion," I told myself. And again I said, "Has to be." And then the thing turned north/northeast, turned slowly, just like a blimp would, and began to head away from me, Thor, the motel and the town of Clayton and all those people who lived there.

It had no markings. Not one. Not one that I could recognize, at any rate, not one that I could see. Not a single number, letter, nothing. Just totally silver. No propellers. No jet engines. No engines that I could see and/or recognize.

No engine noise either--silent as the grave. All I could hear was my breathing, my thoughts, and the gentle breeze, and Thor's snorting ('cause he didn't believe it either). It didn't have carriages suspended underneath with a captain and crew like you see on blimps. No tail fins. No windows. No nothing.

Nothing that I recognized as ancient and/or modern aircraft technology was on that thing. I couldn't recognize anything about it other than it was a vessel of some kind.

I turned to Thor and asked him, "Well, that the heck do you think about that, good buddy?" And he and I just sat there and watched that silver cigar-shaped thing fade away into the horizon.

We watched it for 45 minutes. I studied it for 45 minutes, going over it and over it, trying to figure it out. It never took off like all the other UFOs take off, shwoop! and they're gone in a second, in the blink of an eye. Nope.

It just meandered away like an old cowboy on an old horse until I couldn't see it anymore. Just like a blimp would.

I've been told I witnessed an air bubble. Possible, I suppose, some kind of natural phenomenon that I misinterpreted. But I've often asked myself that had it been an air bubble or some kind of natural phenomenon, wouldn't I have understood, wouldn't I have recognized on some basic level, that what I was seeing was natural and not technology, not built, especially after studying it and studying it intensely for 45 minutes?

This thing looked built, like a plane or a boat or a car looks built. I've seen air bubbles. I've seen big silver air bubbles. And none of them look built as I understand built to look.

The thing that bothers my friend now is this: okay, so I watched this thing, whatever it was, watched it move slowly over Rabbit Ear Mountain and then turn away and disappear slowly. I watched it for 45 minutes, trying to figure out what the heck it was. And then I shrugged, turned to

Thor and said, "Ready for dinner?" and hardly gave it another thought. I returned to the motel's office with my dog, gave him dinner, turned on the TV and as I watched the X-Files I giggled with my hand over my mouth, giggled about the silver cigar-shaped thing I saw in the sky over Rabbit Ear Mountain.

That's about as far as I ever went with it. I never thought to get the binoculars and take a closer look. I never thought to get the camera and take a photo. I never went to town and asked anyone there if they saw the big silver cigar-shaped UFO in the sky. Never even crossed my mind to do so. This bothers my friend a lot, part of the reason why I'm writing this now.

You might wonder why I behaved like that, think it strange behavior that I reacted so coolly, but I think I simply accepted the fact that what I saw was something I didn't understand, be it air bubble, UFO or experimental aircraft and I was, truly, cool with that.

I tend to lean toward experimental aircraft, something governmental, secret, all that. That's what I tell myself it probably was. That's what I tell myself. Experimental aircraft. Had to be. But I'll never be sure. Air bubble? Experimental aircraft? Alien space ship? Hallucination? If Thor could only talk!

That's it.

Thanks again for reading this, and if you have any insight into my UFO experience, please send it my way. I'd love to know what you think.

All the best to you and yours.

Thank you to the witness for an excellent and very interesting report, plus an excellent diagram.

If anyone has witnessed the UFO/Object, please send me an email with details of what you saw. Please remember to include the date and time and location. (Town/City – State or Province) and as much detail as possible.

Riverside, California Two Cigar Shaped UFOs

Posted: December 27, 2008

Date: December 24, 2008
Time: 7:18 a.m.

Location of Sighting: Riverside, CA.
Number of witnesses: 1
Number of objects: 2
Shape of objects: Cigar-oval.

Full Description of event/sighting: I was driving North on Van Buren Ave. It was cloudy, the sky to the Northwest was very grey. There were two cigar shaped objects in the sky, northwest of where I was traveling. They looked to be a bit Southwest of Mount Baldy. The two objects were parallel to each other, the lower one was slightly to the right of the other. At first, when I looked up, I thought they were white clouds set against the grey sky. I was thinking that for they looked very smooth and regular shaped compared to the rest of the clouds anywhere in the sky. Then they suddenly got very bright, and then they faded and got bright again. They seemed to be pulsing with light. They kept getting bright and fading for a little more than a minute, and then while I was looking at them, they disappeared. They just kind of dissolved in front of me. Too quick to say that they faded. They were there and then while I was looking at them and thinking that I should pull over and try to take a picture, they just went away. Like they sunk into the grey.

Thank you to the witness for their report.

Fairfield, Texas Five Cigar Shaped UFOs

Posted: November 15, 2008

Date: October 22, 2008
Time: Approx: 7:00 p.m.

Number of witnesses: 2
Number of objects: 5
Shape of objects: Cigar oblong.
Weather Conditions: Very clear and crisp at sunset.

Description: We were on our back porch facing our West pasture (toward Stephenville/Waco) looking at the beautiful sunset. In the distance we saw three perfectly still streaks. At first we thought they were jet trails but they never broke up. We realized that the shapes were solid and highly reflective. They looked as if they were perfectly suspended. My boyfriend then noticed two more actually moving from South to North off to the left of the three stationary
ones to the West. He said to run in and get the digital camera. We took several pictures but these objects were just too far out of range for the camera to really be seen on the digital screen. We live out in the country on a ranch and see many strange lights, but it seems like this last year has been very active. We saw something this past January too but never reported it.

TV/Radio: Apparently, we were not the only ones to see strange objects in the sky this past week in Central East Texas. We were shocked when we watched the Dallas news last night (Friday, October 24th) and saw a report and video of strange objects near Stephenville/Waco on Thursday, October 23rd. A family captured objects on film from their porch too! We are about 60 miles from where they were but must have seen similar objects.

Message: On November 8, 2008 my friend and I were driving on RT 57 near RT 94 in Wadsworth Ohio, when we noticed a shiny sliver cigar shaped (it was vertical) in the sky. It was between 1:15pm est and 1:45pm est and I was hoping that some one else had seen it. We seen it then it was gone then it was back then gone, it wasn't a plane or the sun shining, it was a very gray cloudy day.

Woodland Hills, California A Huge Bright Metal Cigar Shaped UFO

Posted: October 27, 2008

Date: October 26, 2008
Time: 5:00 p.m.

Location of Sighting: Woodland Hills, CA.
Number of witnesses: 2
Number of objects: 3
Shape of objects: Large and small.

Full Description of event/sighting: My girlfriend and I were traveling East on the 101 going to the Woodlands Mall, when right up in the sky in front of anyone traveling on that freeway was a huge "bright" metal cigar shaped object high and far out in the sky, with 1 tiny object on it's side. Then while watching it, another object appeared at the other side then left. The last two objects remained hovering in the sky, motionless. I wanted to keep traveling that way and watch it until it disappeared, but we had to take our off-ramp. After that I went to the 5th floor of the mall parking lot and you see in every direction from there, but they were gone. I also want to add that the sun itself was incredibly bright at the time of the incident and after the object was gone the sun was back to normal.

Thank you to the witness for the report.

UFO A Silver Metallic Cigar Shaped Over Mckinney, Texas

Posted: October 18, 2008

Date: October 18, 2008
Time: 11:45 a.m.

Location of Sighting: Almost to the corner of Stonebridge DR and Virginia.
Number of witnesses: 5
Number of objects: 1
Shape of objects: Cigar Shape.

Full Description of event/sighting: We were taking the kids to soccer this morning, spouse was driving. I was looking at the sky. Saw a silver metallic cigar shaped object. Thought at first it was an airplane glinting in the sun. I continued to watch it for awhile but it didn't move, it was hovering high in the sky, it was not an airplane or a helicopter or a balloon. I am very familiar with airplanes and the shining or glinting they can get from the Texas sun. We are on the flight path into Dallas airport. So we see them all day long. We all saw the object and it didn't move. It seemed to go high up and we lost sight of it. One minute it was there and the next it was gone. Could not get my cell camera to work in time to take a picture.

Thank you to the witness for their report.

Londell, Missouri Huge Cigar Shaped UFO With Flames Coming From Behind It

Posted: September 12, 2008

Date: Fall of 1989
Time: 5:00 p.m.

Number of witnesses: 4
Number of objects: 1
Shape of objects: Cigar.

Full Description of event/sighting: My kids told me they had seen this object about the same time, the night before but being kids I dismissed at as an active imagination. The following night as I was driving to get a pizza, I too saw the object. It was approx. size of football field. It was a shiny silver color. It seemed to be stable and just hanging in the air when the sun shifted, or it did and it flashed like a mirror would with light shined directly into it. Then it shot large flames out the back and was gone, not slowly but in the blink of an eye. The only way to describe it, is that it would be close to the shape of a blimp, but way to large. The flames were as long as the object. I was with my sister when we seen it and we vowed not to tell anyone. I have since found that many have seen these types of objects.

Thank you to the witness for their report.

Paramount, California A Cigar Shaped UFO

Posted: July 21, 2008

Date: July 4, 2008
Time: Approx: 9:00 p.m.

Location of Sighting: Paramount.
Number of witnesses: 16
Number of objects: 1
Shape of objects: Cigar.

Full Description of event/sighting: Hi Brian, I have written to you before about something of this nature. The same color except this time, the behavior was different.

The object was bright red/ orange and looked like a classic UFO. My brother was the first to notice it and the rest of my family looked to the north west. It was a sighting which went on for a minute. It went sideways, was glowing, but eventually got brighter at times. It was also dropping little light beams which looked like little golf balls.

Since it was at the horizon, we did not see it for very long and it left from our sights.

I'm not sure if anyone else has seen it, but if they did and they look it up, perhaps it encourages them to report what they saw.

Thank you to the witness for their report.
