Kansas City, Missouri Triangular Shaped Craft

Date: November 23, 2005 Time: 10:00 pm

Number of witnesses: 1 Number of objects: 1 Shape of objects: Triangular

Full Description of event/sighting: While traveling south on I-435 where it intersects 63rd Street in KCMO, I observed an object in the east, which appeared to either be hovering or moving very, very slowly. When it first caught my eye, it seemed to have 4 lights, 2 brighter ones next to one another horizontally, with 2 others, appearing directly below the other 2. I couldn't figure out what type of object this was with such an orientation of the lights. (Traveling on an interstate in some traffic made this a challenge.) The skies were clear. As I proceeded south, the object seemed to be getting closer and the lights changed their orientation relative to my position. I could now discern a triangular craft with 4 lights. It looked like 1 light on the end of each wing, 1 in front, and 1 in the middle. The object seemed very low, and its slow movement made it seem like it commanded the sky. Whiteman AFB, the home of the B-2, is east of Kansas City, but the object's slow movement was truly curious.

Thank you to the witness for the report.
