Flagpole Hill in Dallas, Texas Circular Object & Jets Passing On Either Side

Posted: January 14, 2008

Date: November 21, 2005 Time: Between 6:30-7:00 p.m.

Message: While coming home from work this week, my wife was driving East on Northwest Highway by Flagpole Hill in Dallas. Some lights caught her eye and she looked up into the sky to see the bottom of a circular object. It had red strobe lights, kind of merged with white, that were going off around the perimeter. She said to herself, "What is that?" While watching it she noticed two military fighter jets approaching the object. They started to maneuver so that one jet would pass on each side of the object. As they approached, the object shot straight up into the sky and disappeared.

Do you have any other reports of this sighting. This part of Northwest Highway is a heavily traveled commuter route home from work at this hour, (6:30 to 7:00 p.m.) Someone else must have seen the object. Also, the jets would have to have been scrambled from Carswell AFB in Ft. Worth. That would have meant the object was in the area for some time. No other witnesses? I called the news stations and they had no reports called in to them.

Additional Information:

The whole encounter was less than five minutes. As stated earlier the jets split up as they approached the object, trying to approach the object one jet on each side. Before they could approach it the object shot straight up into the sky and disappeared. The jets circled back and departed.

The time of the incident was in the neighborhood of 14:30 to 15:00 hrs. I believe it was Monday the 21st of November 2005. It was a clear, cold night. I'm guessing 35 to 40 degrees F.

Let's see if there were any other observers. I find it hard to believe that no one else saw it as there was traffic on the road and Flagpole Hill sits right on the North side of Northwest Highway. The object was hovering over the hill/park.

I wonder what the military pilots reported to their superiors. I know airline pilots are reluctant to report UFO's because they are concerned their employers will question their mental stability and it might affect their career. Do you think the military pilots said they saw nothing? I wouldn't expect the military to confirm a sighting anyway so I did not call the base. There is also a police substation right down the road but I didn't call them either.

Thank you to the witness for the report.
