Bright fiery orange round object was hovering above my house, heading towards three black parachute like objects that then floated downward.

Asheville, North Carolina approximately 8:45 p.m. or 9:00 p.m. last night. Black parachute-like objects heading down, bright fiery object heading up at same time. I believe it was some government Para-trooping operation.

Two Fiery Bright Fast Moving Red Objects Seen In The Sky From Elk Grove California

Time:  Just before 11:00 p.m.

Hello, I witnessed something in the sky tonight unlike anything I have ever saw. I am in Elk Grove, CA (just south of Sacramento).

I walked outside of my house to go to my truck just before 11:00 p.m. (on 02/14/13) when I noticed something in the southern sky.

It was two very bright, fiery red objects traveling from the south to the north. My first thought was meteors. Although they were moving very fast (and very high), they were not moving fast enough to be meteors and they had no "tail".

My second thought was nuclear war heads. They were much to high to be airplanes and much too big. One was right behind the other traveling in the same direction.

Then the one to the rear starting moving toward the one in front in an upside down 'V' pattern until it looked like the two hit each other or adjoined.

I thought I was going to see an explosion very high in the atmosphere as if one missile were shooting down another. Then they separated again still heading north. It was almost as if they were playing tag or something.

They would speed up and then slow down. again and again. They were both like massive fireballs. Again, higher than any plane I have ever seen. They were most definitely not airplanes or weather balloons like I am sure NASA would say!

Once they got over the Sacramento area, they both dimmed way down until they just looked like stars in the sky, but still traveling very fast. I watched them until I could not see them any more and then ran into my house and woke up my wife to tell her what I had just witnessed.

She very calmly said, "I believe you, I do not think that we are alone". Damn I wish I had had a video camera! I went and turned on the 11 o'clock news to see if they would report it, but there was nothing about it.

So I started scouring the internet to see if anyone else had posted anything about. I know for a fact that I cannot be the only one who saw it. It was actually very beautiful!

Fiery Orange Lights Forming Circles In The Sky Over City Of Plantation Broward County Florida

Time:  9:58 p.m.

Fiery orange lights forming circles, eight lights to each circle and 12 circles traveling east to west at slow speed and keeping even distance from each other some of the last circles were like turning their lights off and on for a few seconds.

All of the circles started to fade out and disappear soon as they reached the same spot or location.

The night was clear with a very bright New Full Moon shinning. There was no sound or view of any aircraft or spacecraft at all.

My 25 year old son and I are still thinking of the sighting.

A Bright Fiery Red Light/Object Seen In The Sky Over Los Gatos California

Time:  Evening.

I have been looking on the internet for an explanation of the light I saw in the sky last night.

I saw a fiery red light in the sky last night after pulling into the driveway. I thought a plane was on fire. I watched it for about 3-4 minutes. I called my daughter to come and see it also. 

It was bright red and hovered in one general area. Finally, it just went black. I called the police department and they instructed me to call the FAA which I did.

The FAA called air traffic control and checked the NASA website, but nothing came out of it.

I live in Los Gatos, California.

Fiery Object Dropped What Looked To Be A Flare Over Seattle Washington

It looked like it dropped a flare of some sort and then slowly flew around and then we could tell it started to move away, towards the south west.

Exploding Fiery Object Falling From The Sky Over Williamstown New Jersey

Mr. Vike, last night, around 11:55 in Williamstown, NJ, I was on my way home and saw a fiery object falling from the sky, that I thought was either a plane crashing or a meteor falling from space. 

It freaked me out, and I immediately pulled over. It fell straight down and before it fell beyond my site, it exploded like a fireball. I was expecting to hear a crash or see some type of explosion from impact, but there was nothing of the sort. 

It was crazy, and everyone I talked to thinks I’m crazy!  This is the only site where people are reporting this sighting, but I knew others had to have seen it too!  Please keep in contact with me if you find out what this object was.

Ball Of Fiery Orange Light Seen In The Sky Over Henderson Bay Near Gig Harbor Washington

Time:  Approx: 9:30 p.m.

Number of witnesses: 1 (plus my husband saw it just as it was disappearing and my daughter heard me describe it the entire time I saw it).
Number of Objects: 1
Shape of Objects: Roundish/oblong.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I saw a ball of light, almost looked like ball of fire. I thought it was a plane or helicopter coming straight toward my house, not like it was going to crash, but just coming in my direction. It was pale orange.

It was getting bigger, but I couldn't hear sound. I stepped outside because I thought it was odd.

It was visible closer to the tree line. I went back inside to get my husband, but when I got back outside I couldn't see it.

Then I realized it had gone way "up" in the sky and was small and it continued until I couldn't really see it any longer. This entire sighting took place over maybe 90 seconds.

I've never seen anything like this. I'll be 70 this year. I was talking to my daughter on the phone describing what I saw.

I asked her to look on the internet to see if a sighting was reported. She didn't find anything, but found this site. (she made this report because she thought it was weird that I made a big deal about this - in her 50 years neither she nor I have seen anything weird enough to believe it might actually be a UFO. We wanted to find out whether anyone else saw it too and try to find out what it was.)

I just watched a bright orange ball Of light moving across the sky. It traveled about the speed of an airplane, but the glow was quite a bit larger.

Where an airplane has several small lights, this was just one large fiery mass. Just before 6:00 p.m. at the ocean Long Beach, California.

Round Fiery Objects Seen In The Sky Over Carmel California

Time:  6:30 p.m.

On December 27, 2012 at 6:30 p.m. PST in the sky over the ocean along the shore of Carmel, California.

It was cold and clear. We happened to walk out on the upstairs balcony overlooking the ocean, we face west.

We saw a round fiery object from our vantage point about the size of a regular moon, but foggy edges, similar to flames?

It looked as though it was very close, from our point not plane height, but rather helicopter height, no con trails. It floated by in the clear sky in a straight horizontal line just stunning us, the direction from North to South, no sound.

We followed it with our eyes, it didn't go up and didn't go down, just a steady horizontal flight until we couldn't see it anymore. Then we looked back to the north and here comes another one.

There were three of them spaced a few seconds apart on the same level, at the same speed. Then there was a 4th, but it was much higher, more airplane height and disappeared quickly. What were those fiery objects?

Mass Of Large Fiery Orange Lights Traveled Over Orlando Florida

Good Afternoon, my boyfriend and I were having a fire on Christmas Eve and at about 11:00 p.m.

We spotted a very large, orange fiery mass moving quickly through the sky and then it disappeared. 

About 5 minutes later, we saw another one, only this one appeared to fall through the sky and hit the ground. Does anyone have an explanation as to what these things are?

Orange Fiery Object With A Bright Long Tail Seen Over Louisville Kentucky

Time:  Around Midnight.

I live in Louisville Kentucky. I am online right now trying to figure out what I just saw in the sky. It's a really clear night and I was looking into the eastern sky around midnight EST.

All the sudden I saw a large orange fiery looking light and it literally passed over my head and into the western sky.

It had a very long bright tail and was visible for about 8 seconds. I've seen shooting stars. I watch the Persiad meteor shower every August, but I have never seen anything like this.

I got so excited I immediately got on NASA's website to look for something that may tell me what it was, but found nothing.

I searched pictures of comets and none seemed to really look like it and they say comets tails are not so visible. So I searched bright orange with tail in the sky and found this post. It was incredible and I'm dying to know what it was!

Fiery Balls Of Light Seen Twice Over Porter County Indiana

Hi, I'm (name removed) I saw your site on UFOs and decided to tell you what I saw, which was a almost fiery ball on two separate occasions. The first time it was traveling east to west on about September 2nd, 2012 at about 8:15 p.m. and again tonight September 5th at 8:30 p.m. going south to north right over my house.

The first occasion it was slightly south of my house it looked almost like it was on fire. There were no flashing lights coming or going, just kind of looked like a low moving orange star.

It almost looked like it was a little jerky like, a pause then go etc., we heard no sound on either occasion. Oh sorry, I live in Porter County, Indiana on Stone Ave.

The first sighting was with my father and the second time my wife daughter and granddaughter saw it too. Thank you.

Orange Glowing Fiery Object Lifts Up Into The Sky Over Sarasota Florida

Brian, I live in Sarasota, Florida and tonight a friend and I were taking a walk on Siesta beach with her dog, as we were leaving my friend turned around and said, "looks like someone has started a fire on the beach".

I looked around to see what looked like a "pot of fire", an orange glowing fiery object that was very close to the edge of the water.

We were fairly close to it, then it lifted off and went straight up and to the left until it completely disappeared. The time was about 7:30 p.m.

I came home to Google it and found your blog. I've never seen any pictures or heard of this type of UFO until I saw your blog about the orange glowing lights. What is interesting is that we saw it lift off, usually people see objects coming down.

I would love to hear about your other findings--we did not have our cell phones with us to take pictures Thanks for the blog.

Fiery Object With Tail Of Fire Seen Flying Over Knoxville Arkansas

I live in Knoxville, Arkansas. I was at the gas station sitting in my car and looked up and seen a fiery falling from east to west. I didn't notice any green light around it. But I am curious about and was just trying to see if anyone else seen it.

It was about 6:10 a.m. on October 30th, 2012. Around the same time of the others. Seemed to be about a mile or two away. Not sure exactly how big it was, so it could have been further away.

I'm pretty sure it definitely had to hit the ground. It had a tail of fire on it as well. I would like to know more about this if anyone knows. I thought about seeing if I could track it down, but don't know how I could since I'm not sure exactly where it hit.

Orange/Yellow Fiery Object Over Lower Eastside Of Manhattan Island New York

Time:  Approx: 8:30 p.m. and 12:30 a.m.

Dear Brian:, I've been wondering what to do, and where to make a report.  The fireball sightings I've had, have left me stunned and feeling disturbed.

I live on the lower eastside of Manhattan Island in a high rise apartment complex. From my window, I can see the skyline of the financial district, the court buildings, the South Street Seaport (Pier 17), the East River, and a partial view of Governors Island.

On Saturday, September 1, 2012, at approximately 8:30 p.m., on a clear night, I sat by the living room window smoking a cigarette. This Labor Day weekend left the city extremely lively.

The skyline was completely lit. I noticed that the lights in skyscraper windows were all lit in different shades of pale yellow and tan. However, one window stood out amongst the others because it was an orange/yellow color and much bigger and brighter than the others. It hugged the high rise on the top floor. It was flat, in the shape of a graffiti-like "H".

At first, I thought it was a large fire and I thought I might call the fire department because I saw it move, slightly. I called two of my family members to the window to ask them what they thought it was before I committed myself to the phone call, but what I thought was a fire, blinked out. 

So, I told them, "forget it. It's gone." In the next instant, it appeared again - only this time, it appeared on the other end of the building. I called the family again to see it. We all saw it.

This bright orange/yellow thingy continued to hug the building giving off a fiery glow. Then - it crawled up to the building's tower, slowly, until it ran out of the facade it had itself plastered against. From there, it turned into a ball of fire and headed for the sky, ascending slowly until we couldn't see it anymore.  It left us feeling confused and disturbed.

On Saturday, September 15, 2012, at 12:30 past mid night (technically, September 16th) I sat by the same window. Everyone in the family was asleep. I saw the same fire ball in the same vicinity - only this time - it wasn't plastered against a skyscraper.  It was passing across the center of a different building (the look-alike Empire State Building). 

After the fire ball crossed the building, it reached for the sky once more, and ascended up until I couldn't see it anymore.

I can't help thinking about it.  In fact, the thought is driving me nuts. Tomorrow I'll build up the courage to walk further downtown with my binoculars and a camera to see if there are burn marks on the top floor of the building from the Sept. 1st sighting.  If there is - I'll snap a picture.

Fiery Triangular Shaped Object Seen Over Caledonia Wisconsin

Good Afternoon, I came across your website as I was Googling what my husband and I both witnessed on Friday July 20th, 2012 at approximately 11:05 p.m.

We were camping in Caledonia, Wisconsin and stargazing and we both saw a fiery, almost triangular shape flying in the sky.

At first it appeared to be traveling at a slow rate and then it sped up and would almost jerkily change direction and then speed up and slow down, we watched it for about 2 1/2 minutes before it just disappeared.

It was traveling west. Whatever it was that we witnessed, it was the most amazing thing I've ever seen in the night sky!
