Dayton, Ohio Object As Bright As The Moon

Date: Summer of 1974 Time: Early Evening

Full Description of event/sighting: I've had two UFO encounters; one in Dayton, Ohio around the summer of 1974, and an up close and personal sighting in July of 1976. My first sighting was in the Summer of 1974. I just finished my freshman year of high school. One night I decided to go to bed early. It was hot and I laid down with my head at the foot of my bed. I had a window high on the wall at the head of my bed. I was laying there trying to catch a cool breeze when I saw a round light that I thought was the moon. I couldn't sleep because the moonlight seemed so bright, just like it was shining in my face. So I moved over to get the moon out of my eyes... Low and behold what did I see? The freakin' moon, the real moon except not as shiny as the other light. I looked back at the round and very large bright object in the sky. It took a couple of seconds to realize that the light wasn't natural, so I trucked down stairs with the rest of the family. I didn't go back to bed until everyone else went upstairs, and I didn't tell anybody until the next day thinking they wouldn't believe me
