Around 50 Lights In The Night Sky Over Lansing Michigan (Pictures)

Last night as I was driving home I saw way it looked to be around 50 of these lights in the sky around St. Joe.

I've heard they are just lanterns but I have a feelings they're not.

 Here's one of the pictures I took. There were a lot more, but I couldn't get it all in the picture.

Spotted from Lansing Michigan. They were heading towards the direction of the street St. Joe and I was well aware of the clock, it was 11:10 p.m.

Green/Blue/Yellow Light Falls Out Of The Sky Over Lansing Michigan

Time:  12:00 a.m.

While driving down Michigan Avenue in Lansing, MI my friend and I just saw a green, yellow, bluish light all together sort of changing colors and fell straight down.

The thing about the light orb was that it had no tail following behind it and it literally came out of the middle of the sky and slowly fell to Earth. There is no way that it was human  and the fact that it happened exactly at 12:00 a.m. terrifies me.

At first I thought I just saw the light, but then my friend who was driving the car looked directly at me and screamed, "Did you see that!". We are in complete shock and to be honest, I never believed in extraterrestrial objects, but after this sighting, I'm literally a true believer.

This light seemed perfectly round and the color we saw was like a color that we have never seen before. Believe the story or not, but I know what me and my roommate saw and it has us terrified.

Multiple Lights Seen In The Sky Over Lansing Michigan

Time:  Evening.

I saw at least that many on 10/24/ 2012 over on Aureluis and between Cavanaug and Forest Road. They were traveling relatively low and slowly, but all at the same speed and there were a lot of them. 

They were not glowing, but luminous and not blinking. There was no noise. They were relatively small and they travel in a loose formation, but in small and close waves, and then it was over.

I can't believe I am the only one that saw this, but I did see it. Does this sound like what you saw?

Orange Glowing Lights Seen From Lansing Michigan

I saw something quite similar tonight (8-29-12) just a few short miles from where this previous sighting was noticed. My girlfriend and I noticed very similar lights moving straight into the night sky and then seemingly tumbling towards the earth from Ionia St. in downtown Lansing.

These were also moving from east to west in the nighttime sky. When they flew over her house they appeared more amorphous, kind of like balloons, with the orange glow.

Amber Colored Object Spotted In The Sky North Of Lansing Michigan

In early August of this year, 2012 I witnessed one amber colored orb just north of city of Lansing, MI. It just sat in the sky and then "blinked out" and was gone.

Not only was that weird but so was the several helicopter's flying around the Lansing Mall and Meijer's. What is going on.

Orange Light Dims To White And Repeats This In The Sky Near Lansing Michigan

 

Date:  April 7, 2012

Time:  8:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.

 

Just around dusk, I'd say 8:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. eastern time, Saturday, April 7, I went out on the front porch for a smoke. Immediately I noticed an orange object moving right towards where I was. 

 

It was larger than a star when it was orange, but it seemed to pulsate, dim to a white light about the size of a star. It repeated this orange (bigger) to white (smaller) and I went to the backyard to continue following it.  

 

My mom and I watched it travel away from the house from the back porch now. It dimmed from the larger orange object, to the smaller white object and back to the larger orange object maybe 8 times. 

 

The last time it dimmed to the white light, and then the white light got smaller and went out, but you could still see a black mass travelling on the path, the shape I couldn’t really make out as it was getting dark. 

 

It seemed circular. After a short time, I lost sight of the black object. There was no sound. No flashing lights. This was near Lansing, MI., (charlotte to be exact)  I’m not sure of the direction, as I’m not good with directions, but could easily show someone the path in which it traveled. 

 

I thought maybe a hot air balloon and the orange was it firing up, but my mom said it moved too fast to be a hot air balloon. Never seen anything like it in my 32 years. This sighting lasted about 3 or 4 minutes.

UFO Observed Over Lansing Michigan

I stumbled across a page with this email address saying to report any UFO in the Lansing area. I in fact saw one in broad daylight a week ago which would be 2/8/12. 

 

It was descending rapidly, and glowed orange from the back of the craft.

Round Yellow Colored Lights Over East Lansing Michigan

Date:  April 18, 2011

Time:  10:00 p.m.

Was riding the CATA Bus back to the MSU campus when the bus driver stopped at a red light on Farm ln. She asked me to come to the front of the bus to see if I could figure out what these weird lights were in the distance. 

The bus was facing south and the lights were off to the southwest. The lights were yellow sphere shaped orbs with a red center. At first there was about seven of them grouped in a weird pattern, slowly a few disappeared then by the time the bus made it to Farm and Wilson there were only two that I could see.

One light remained stationary while the other seemed to move towards it. By the time the bus dropped me off at the Wharton center I didn’t see the lights in the sky anymore. I would say I first saw the lights at 10:00 p.m. and they were gone about 5 minutes later.

Orange Amber Colored Lights Over Lansing Michigan

Time:  Approx: 8:00 p.m.

 

I witnessed these lights. Same night, same time and yes, it was in Lansing. We were just leaving Lansing heading towards Detroit when I looked to my left, I noticed a strange formation with the lights.

 

They were orange/amber in color and I knew it was unusual because I have never seen any lights like this. Scary! Have you received any other reports about these lights?

 

How common are UFO's in Lansing?

Bright Blue Flash Of Light Seen At East Lansing Michigan

Hello, I saw a post on your blog entitled "Bright Turquoise Green Blue Flash of Light at Guelph Ontario" and I wanted to share a similar experience.

Last night, November 29th, 2011 around 8:00 p.m., I was sitting in my apartment in East Lansing, Michigan that has windows facing the east. 

 

All of the sudden, there was a bright blue light lighting up the windows for approximately 2-3 seconds. There was no sound, but I first thought it might have been lightning that hit my apartment building so I unplugged my computer, but the power didn't go out and the lights didn't flicker or anything.

A couple friends who live in an apartment about a 1/4 of a mile away experienced the same thing but described it as a green light and their windows face the south.

Do you have any information as to what this could have been? Thanks.

11 Or 12 Red Orange Colored Lights Over Lansing Michigan (Pictures)

Time:  Approx: 6:10 p.m. 

 

I recently read a post on your website dated June 11, 2011, about a sighting of 11 red lights over Lansing.

Well I'm here to tell you that I and one other witness on 11/11/11 at approximately 6:10 p.m. at night with a clear dark sky noticed what seems to be the same thing as the June sighting 5 months prior.

 

There were 11 or 12 reddish orange lights flying in a some what straight line over the city of Lansing, right near the community college.

 

Things we thought the reddish orange lights could have been, but just can't be.

 

They were too fast for floating lanterns found in Asian culture, they were silent so no sign of helicopters or any type of engine noise, they did not have blinking lights. Things to consider though.

 

It was veterans day and the airport in Lansing is north of down town Lansing, the lights were traveling from south east to straight north.

 

I am really glad that I found the June article, this will help me and my witness not look and sound so crazy!

Around 15 Silent Amber Colored Lights Seen Over Lansing Michigan

 

Date:  November 11, 2011

Time:  Approx: 8:00 p.m.

 

So last night I was walking my dog around 8:00 p.m. when I looked up and saw about 15 of the same lights you described. I live on Seymour St. in Lansing. At first they seemed to be flying in a strange multi-triangular pattern, you could tell they were individual because the formation drifted apart and you could tell they were moving independently.

 

There was no sound whatsoever. There were no flashing lights, just what looked to be burning embers as you described. They were orange red and glowing. Not just one wave came through. I immediately ran home to get my fiancé and neighbors to see it and they saw the tail end of the formation as they one by one started to disappear into the clouds. 

 

Two more came through 5 minutes later, and then 5 minutes after that a lone glowing light came through. This was the strangest thing I've ever seen in the sky. I didn't have my phone with me, so no pictures, but they looked exactly like the photos on your site.

11 Huge Glowing Red Lights Over Lansing Michigan

Just last night, I saw 11 red lights way up in the sky following each other until they left the atmosphere. These looked about a mile away. I first saw three in the air, then as they disappeared, more would come up from behind the trees in the distance.

 

One by one, each following the other, but three left out into space at a time. These had no sound what so ever. No blinking lights either. They were not planes or helicopters, just huge red glowing lights. They traveled southeast. I was in Lansing, MI. It was about 9:00 p.m. or so.

Orange Red Balls Of Light Observed Over Lansing Michigan

Date: July 15, 2011

Time: Evening.

Last night I was getting out of my car, and I ended up becoming fixed on a orange red ball, moving slowly across the sky, varying in luminosity. After about 45 seconds, it stopped and disappeared. When I say disappeared, I don't mean it took off so fast it vanished. It just dimmed down and was no longer there.

Also, in the early spring, my friend brought his whole family to witness many orange fireballs (as he described them), moving at a strange and unnatural pace while moving into some sort of formation (though I forgot what formation he said), followed by rapid acceleration and disappearance.

The same friend, on the same night I witnessed, claims he saw it as well in while in the woods.

I live off of Willow, pretty close to Waverly, Rd. He lives off Lansing Rd/old Lansing Road, also by Waverly Rd. Just thought I'd let you know.

Large Orange Lights Seen Between Ithaca Lansing New York

I was driving up East Shore Drive from Ithaca to Lansing when I noticed these very bright, very large orange lights in the sky over the lake. It was hard to see through the trees, and I first thought the lights were a reflection in my side window.

As I was driving up hill, it appeared these lights were "floating" towards Ithaca. I tried to turn around a few minutes later to see if I could still see them, but they were gone.

20-30 Orange Lights In A Diagonal Formation Over Lansing Michigan

I saw several orange lights (20-30) in a diagonal formation last night I was driving south on 127 from Dewitt to the Lake Lansing exit and they were toward the east. It was about 8:30 pm.

Glowing Orange Ember Like Lights Over Lansing Michigan (Chinese Lanterns)

Date: March 25 and 26th, 2011
Time: 10:20 p.m.

Last night there were 2 glowing orange ember-like lights moving independently, but along same course, rising in altitude until gone. Silent. Too erratic for planes, too silent and close to each other for copters.

Tonight, the same description, but only single object. Same time, 10:20pm. Seemed to rise right from our neighbor's yard, and move right through ours over our house and across street in time it took me to get outside. So close, I feel like I could identify glow of open flame beneath circular white canopy of fabric. Some sort of balloon or Chinese lantern. Much smaller than hot air balloon.

Sightings in Waverly area of Lansing of St. Joe between Snow and Waverly roads. Moving SW. I've set my alarm to watch again tonight with camera.

Update - Bright Orange Light/Disc Over Lansing Michigan (Chinese Lantern)

Time: 9:30 p.m.

Shape of Objects: Bright orange light/disc.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: From the east noticed bright flickering orange light the size of Jupiter moving slowly to the west. It moved almost directly overhead as it passed to the west. It travelled at what seemed to be aircraft speed, maybe 3-5k feet.

As it got more directly overhead it flickered more and almost 'went out' . After it stopped flickering, a silent very dim orange disc/circle is what passed overhead the size of thumbnail at arms length. No change in direction, no sound.

10 To 15 Bright Orange Lights In A Long Row Over Lansing Michigan

Hello, I just wanted to report a sighting that happened just 30 minutes ago. The sighting was just south of I96 and MLK exit 101 just off Holt Rd. My son and I and his friend noticed a long row of bright orange lights. I would say 10-15 of them. In the lead were three orange lights in a triangle pattern. They were moving quite slowly. We noticed them driving south on M99 just past Waverly Rd.

They were off to the west so I turned west on to Holt Rd. I parked the car and got out with lights turned off. The objects were silent and slowly went upwards and one after another like follow the leader, disappeared. Please let me know if you have any other reports of this sighting.
