Fast Moving Object Makes Strange Maneuvers Over Santiago Canyon Road Orange County California

Hi Brian, I live in The City of Orange. Well my friend and I headed out to watch the meteor shower It must have been 12:30 am 8/13/2012. Instead of going to Black Star Canyon Rd., we pulled off the side of the road on Santiago Canyon Rd.

We were facing south and we saw half dozen meteors zip across the sky. I was looking southwest and I thought it was a satellite, but it was no satellite, it was only one at first. We watched it for about 45 minutes.

The only way I can explain what we saw is like this. If you were clueless and just looking from one side to another or if you were driving you would not even know it was there. I am always looking up in the night sky with or without my telescope.

OK what this thing was doing was moving from one point to another and back again. It was moving in a "S" pattern then look like it was headed our way, then go back the other way. But it was how it moved.

Speeds and turns that I have never seen before. There were no blinking lights it kind of look like twinkling star. But it only stayed in this one area in the sky. What I thought was crazy was off in the distance a plane was coming at its direction but a lot lower.

When the plane was right there it stopped moving. To me it look like it was trying to be a star, but when the plane past it started moving again. Then a few minutes later another  plane was coming again but this one was more close to its level.

This time when the plane started getting closer it started moving in the opposite direction. This time trying to look like another plane passing by in its own flight path. Then my friend pointed out the second one, flying and moving about just like the other one.

We watched for more then hour before we headed back home and yes they were still in sight when we left. I can't find it in me to tell anyone because I would not know what to tell them and worry about how they would react to me when I was done talking.

I'm just glad my friend was there with me so I know my eyes were not playing tricks on me. I hope my eye witness report helps out a little. Thanks

Red Lights Seen From Greenville Loop Road Wake Forest And Fort Fisher North Carolina

 

Date:  End of June 2012 and July 18, 2012

Time:  11:30 p.m. and Approx: 9:30 p.m.

 

I have seen them twice. Once about three weeks ago on Greenville Loop Road. A red light slow moving above my car. When I went to get out of my car to take a picture, it was gone. This was about 11:30 p.m.

 

Last night we went to Fort Fisher about 9:30 p.m. and looking towards Southport there they were two single red light appearing and disappearing. Only lasting about 5 minuets. A older man and his family was witnesses this too.

 

People and my friends think I am crazy what are these lights and what do they do? Thank you.

Witness Says Neighbors Released 6 Balloons With Road Flares Hanging Below Seen Over Moses Lake Texas City Texas ?

I think I may have figured out the mystery. It seems that around 9:00 p.m. my parents neighbors released 6 balloons with road flares tied to them. As we saw the red lights hover over Moses Lake.

 

I thought they flew in formations and did not have sporadic motion like balloons would, but my mom claims to have seen them being released.

 

I am still skeptical, but would like to shed light on this possible mass nation wide hoax. Reply with any updates or opinions. Thanks.

40 Red Lights/Objects Seen Over Cedar Bluff Road Wellington Florida

I was walking the dog in Wellington last night at 10:45 p.m., when I too saw many red lights moving at moderate speeds from the NW to the SE.  

They flew right over my head on Cedar Bluff Rd and I counted more than 40 objects that were in a constant stream for about 20 minutes. Neighbors came out of their houses too…

They moved the pace of a small plan, but were random in pattern and consistent over the 20 minutes. They were gone about 11:10 p.m.

Large Disc UFO Rose Up From The Ground At Wilson And Trabue Road Columbus Ohio

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I will be 72 in March. I have not forgotten the incident. At the time I was attending Hilliard Middle School, Hilliard, OH.

The house where I lived was located on 40 acres of land on Trabue Road. I decided to go horse back riding and saddled up my horse. We rode south from the barn and out onto the riding track.

 

About 15 minutes passed and my horse began to shake and came to an abrupt stop. I looked around me and to the east a large disc shaped object arose from the ground and with no lights or sound streaked towards the southwest.

 

Wright Patterson Air force base was located at Dayton, Ohio in the direction which the saucer flew. My parents thought I made it all up. However, two of my class mates who were working on their parents farm saw the disc.

 

I had further sightings in 1973 while living in New Bremen, OH.

Huge Lights Over New Falls Road Levittown Pennsylvania

Time:  Between 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

 

I saw the huge lights on 12/24 as well. It was directly overhead as I was turning right onto the parkway. I sat at the light, waiting to turn left onto New Falls and watched as the lights grew above me. I looked at the other cars around me and no one seemed to noticed (there were about four cars in the direct area).

As suddenly as it came, it left at an accelerated speed south east. I have also noticed unusual activity along New Falls Road around the LBCJWA building. Typically the time is between 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Though this past December, I noted many unidentified lights in the sky to which my family and friends always reasoned away.

Green Object With Blue Streaks And It Made A Boom Sound Over Dry Creek Road Phoenix Arizona

Hi Brian, thanks for your web post about this phenomenon. My family and I saw the same thing. We are located about a half mile up Dry Creek Rd and saw it out to the northeast from our direction.

 

We couldn't tell if it was a meteor or a craft or possibly a firework. It sort of traveled like a craft. It was green and one of our witnesses saw blue streaks tracing behind it.

 

We caught about 5 seconds of it before it disappeared beyond our view through the trees and then there was a sudden boom sound, almost like a sonic boom or a firework.

 

But it didn't seem to look like a firework. Please let me know if you find out anything more. Thank you.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: My sister and I were driving home from a friends house early this morning, something caught both of our eyes. A large bright blue object seemed to be floating across the sky, aiming downward as if it were going to fall to the earth.

 

It left a white and blue trail behind it. The object could have been more than a mile away from us, appearing about 300 feet in the air. It was moving at a fast steady rate. The object was only in my sight for about 2 seconds, my sister saw it first, but only approximately a second before I did.

 

The object went out of our line of sight when we drove past some trees. We expected to hear a collision, but hear nothing even though it seemed to be about to hit the earth.

Red And Orange Fire Like Objects In The Sky Over Leslie Road Lisbon Ohio

Full Description of Event/Sighting: As we walked out of the house to the car we smelled camp fire smoke with sulfur. I thought it was fireworks, being so close to the fourth of July. My friend spotted a "campfire" in the sky, he thought maybe it was up a hill, when it moved upward.

 

Very suddenly it changed directions, seeming to come closer, then stopped. As we watched 4 more shot up through the sky, looking a lot like fireworks, but never exploding. They were all about the same size and color, (orange and red like a fire), but all moved independently.

 

Then they all moved closer together forming a perfectly straight vertical line, then a box, then a circle. Finally they all started to flicker getting brighter and dimmer, first one, then another.

 

After several minutes they each disappeared one at a time, the first one that we saw, was the last one that disappeared.

 

Although we have tried many different explanations, there is nothing that could have moved that independently for that amount of time.

Bright White Light Over Leetes Island Road Towards Stony Creek Connecticut

Date: July 14, 2011

Time: Evening.

OK, so its July 14th 2011 and about an hour ago while driving down Leetes Island Road towards Stony Creek I saw a bright white light move high in the sky from right to left and dive down below the tree line. Judging from its distance, it seemed pretty far away and pretty high up.

Too high to be a firework and had more of a solid consistent light to it. It did not appear to be a meteor as well. ( no trailing tail) as soon as I arrived to my destination (stony creek) I stood in the parking lot for a little while, maybe 15 minutes, then began to observe much more air traffic in the form of planes flying around the area overhead.

I counted 10 planes within the course of about 7 minutes. Not sure if this was a "sighting", but when I Googled "bright white light in the sky Ct." All these articles popped up to my amazement with stories very similar to mine. Very strange.

UFOs Over Interstate 90 And Gulf Road In Lorain County Ohio

Full Description of Event/Sighting: While in a traffic jam on Interstate 90 on September 26, 2010, I noticed two white lights hovering in the sky. At first glance I assumed they were airplanes, but then after looking at them for a few moments I noticed that the two lights were still and did not have the flashing lights on the sides that US planes have. The two lights began to move toward each other. They moved slowly, but at certain points they moved quick and abruptly.

They got extremely close to one another and began rotating over and under one another. Then, suddenly three other lights showed up. The now five lights slowly moved around each other, making different patterns, such as a V shape. After about 15 minuets of this, the five lights darted away and were all gone in an instant.

After getting off the highway we were traveling down Gulf Road and came to a stop light going onto Cleveland Street. While sitting at the light, a large, black object flew directly over the car very slowly. At first sight, we thought the flying object was a helicopter. But, after rolling down the windows we realized the the object made no noise or wind.

The object flew only a few feet above the traffic light and continued to fly over the Walgreen's located next store. When reaching the roof of the Walgreen's, the object sped up and disappeared. The flying object was a black oval with three long "bars" one the bottom. These bars each had a row of bright white lights on them.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was about 10 at the time and was in the back yard digging a hole in the ground, when something made me standup and look to the north. I saw a object coming straight at me, it was about the size of beach ball, bigger than a basketball. The thing that caught my eye was that as it got closer it was shiny like, silver only as it passed in front of me at speed of a very fast walk,close enough to reach out and touch which I did not want to do.

I noted that the surface of it changed color, I should not say it changed color, rather the colors moved the same way, what you see when gasoline looks like mixed with water and is reflected by the sun, much like a giant water bubble. It traveled in straight line in a north to south direction. As it headed south it went out of sight. I ran and told my mother and that was that. I could not see though it, and it made no sound or glow. Swamp Gas I don't know?

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I thought it was the moon at first glance, then as I drove towards it, it was moving towards me. I thought well maybe it's a helicopter, but the light came straight out and towards the sky. I rolled my window down and there was no sound at all. It moved to my left, seemed to be right next to me and I can't say how many feet out.

I realized that I had stopped in the middle of the road and was staring at this thing. All these thoughts in my head trying to make sense of it. It made no sense. I have never seen anything like it. I tried to take a picture on my phone, nothing. I called my aunt, no answer. I remember seeing a truck with a flashing light go by, it didn't make sense because there are no fire trucks or police trucks this color and it was just the one.

Where this thing was positioned would have been over an empty valley and nothing but woods and river. I had to go get my daughter, as I started pulling forward slowly watching it, it began to rise up. I stopped and threw it in reverse, hoping to get a better look and it dropped down again. We did this several times, me pulling forward and backing up and with each of my movements, it also moved not forward or back, but up and down.

I had to leave, as I pulled away, I watched it rise straight up into the sky. When I picked up my daughter, she said her friend had just told her of a similar experience and we went back to where I had been parked in the middle of the road and we sat there watching for what seemed forever. I can't get this out of my head and am so desperate to find something similar to what I saw. I believe it was a UFO. No logical possibilities make sense.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: My friend and I were outside when he noticed a bright light in the sky and asked what it might be. It was the brightest thing in the sky, brighter than any star I have ever seen. At first I thought it was a plane with it's headlights pointed in our direction, but it was not moving.

We watched it for about 15 minutes, then decided to try and drive to it because from where we were, it seemed only a few hundred yards off the ground and maybe a mile or so away. We drove southeast towards the object on Asheville Highway, but as we felt like we should be getting closer, it wasn't getting closer to us.

We turned around and went back to my house where we continued to watch it. It did seem to move on one occasion diagonally then stopped again. It didn't move like a satellite or a plane. Very different from a helicopter. It wasn't swamp gas.

100 Lights Over Ridge Road In Joliet Illinois

Brian, I saw your post on the web site sightings.com. I live in Channahan area and last week when I was driving around 6:30 on ridge road in Joliet. I saw a lot of strange aircraft in the sky. There were hundreds of them all over the sky heading around Joliet and Minooka.

When I first saw them, they appeared one about every five seconds all in a row. They did not make any noise and they flew around for a couple hours. I even saw them in the sky when I got home. I have not heard anything about this and was hoping you might know of what the heck I saw?

Orange Gold Objects Over Harpeth School Road Franklin Tennessee (Pictures)

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Looked like orange gold orbs that swooped down and then took off horizontally north to south. My pictures don't show exactly what I saw because I waited to long to take the picture and they moved further away. I was a little amazed.

They had a trail behind them like a aircraft might in my vision. I've never seen anything like it. The picture is amazing. The 2 orbs were obviously following each other.

Attached are the pictures that I took yesterday at dusk with my Iphone. I put in my form that it was approximately 6:30pm, but when I checked my Iphone it was exactly 5:57pm.

You will have to enlarge the picture to see them. I took three separate shots in a row. Look closing at the first photo because one is in the left of the picture and one is on the right of the picture behind a tree.

It was amazing in person. I saw them closer up but by the time I took the picture they moved off in the tree line.

I am not a UFO watcher. I was driving to the store and was taken aback when I saw these things and then stopped my car, call my boyfriend then realized they were moving away so I hung up the phone and shot a picture with my iphone.


I just wish I knew what they were.

Glowing Light Shoots Across The Sky Over Kent Lake Road Michigan

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was driving my daughter to school and we saw a light glow in the dark sky and it shot across the sky and disappeared. We thought it was a shooting star, but it went straight. Then when I told my husband that night, he said when he was dropping my son at work around the same area. My son saw it to, as he said it appeared and moved side to side before shooting off into the dark. It was like the back of a jet when it starts, that's how I can describe the light at first.

We live in Michigan. The sighting was on Kent Lake Road between Silver Lake Road and Grandriver that’s where we were, but it was off in the distance in the sky. Not sure if it was Brighton or South Lyon Boundary. Thanks so much .If I was by myself they would of never believed it!

UFO Has Person Pulling To The Side Of The Road At Kewanee Illinois

Date: October 11, 1989

Time: Approx: 9:00 p.m.

On the night of 11 October 1989, I left Kewanee, Illinois and was driving home after a meeting. I was alone and driving west on IL Route 81. At a few minutes after 9:00pm I was approx 4 mi west of Kewanee on a section of Route 81 running north (near the intersection of Tower rd.) On the right (east) is hills and broken timber/pasture and on the left (west) are flat open tilled farm fields.

I would have been traveling north. I suddenly noticed a red (red/orange) flashing light. At the time, I thought an emergency vehicle or deputy sheriff had suddenly come up behind me. This happened without warning and I thought the vehicle had approached me, possibly with no headlights on, or was so close I could not see the headlights.

Here, I should elaborate and mention that I had just recently purchased a new (1989) Ford F150 pickup truck and had a fiberglass 'topper' installed that day. I was unfamiliar with the somewhat obstructed field of view and the still new vehicle.

I had not been drinking or using any drugs. I do recall being somewhat fatigued after a long and busy day. I slowed and moved over to the shoulder of the road. As I came to a stop on the shoulder I was still thinking I was being pulled over for some reason. I then realized the red or red/orange light was reflecting in the space between the back window of the truck and the topper.

I shut the engine off at this point thinking I had some kind of electrical problem with some lights on the new and unfamiliar truck topper. I shut the engine off and opened the drivers door at about the same moment I realized the light was also reflected on the hood of the truck.

I stepped out of the open drivers door to stand on the ground and realized that a large glowing sphere was positioned almost directly overhead. I estimated the object to be approx 50-70 feet above ground and approx 20-25 feet diameter. It was smooth and glassy appearing on its surface, which was most noticeable between the brighter intensity pulses.

I want to emphasize that these 'pulses' were not flashes as in 'on-off' but were pulsations of brighter-dimmer, never shutting off completely. I also noticed a strong definite static field that increased in unison with the pulses of brighter light. I could not visualize the surface of the object when the light pulses were at peak intensity.

During the less intense/dim phase of the light pulses the surface was clearly visible and totally featureless from my point of view. The surface was very smooth and glass-like transparent and within appeared a swirling, smoky or viscous liquid type substance against the inner surface. From what was visible to me, I would insist this object was a perfect globe or sphere and emitted light from its entire outside surface.

Over the next 1-2 minutes the quality and duration of the bright/dim light cycle changed to a longer bright and shorter dim but the frequency of the light cycle seemed constant- it did not pulse faster, just longer and brighter pulses with shorter dim intervals until it approached constant bright on. I hope I can make this clearly understood.

I could feel the intensity of the static field intensify also. I did not move from my position next to the truck between the open door and cab. I had the feeling that something was going to happen with the changes in the light emissions and static field but did not know what to expect.

When the light pulses became a constant on the object very suddenly shot west with a departure so rapid that there was a vacuum 'POP'. I can only describe it as being like a huge cork violently pulled from a bottle. I was aware of no noise prior to this moment.

The object stopped very suddenly in the western sky for a few seconds (3-5 miles away?) then seemed to change directions approx 90 degrees to due north for a couple miles, stopping suddenly again for only a moment then disappearing to the western horizon.

My next recollection was the realization that I was sitting in my parked truck in my back yard (approx 2 miles north of the site described) with the truck pointing west and watching the western sky where the object disappeared.

This was not an area where I would typically park. I walked into the house a few minutes before 11:00pm so I was evidently in the truck for some time. It was a very pleasant evening both temperature and weather and I recall an overall feeling of 'stunned amazement'. I do not recall ever feeling fear or apprehension. I realize that some time is unaccounted for but I have attributed that to some kind of emotional shock. I have remained in excellent health.
