Unknown Lights Seen Over Springboro Ohio

Time: Evening.

Hi, my name is (name removed) and I saw your article online for the sighting is Springboro, Ohio. Last night I was driving with my friend coming back form BW3's in Springboro and she said, "do you see those lights?" I didn't see them until she finally pointed them out to me and I saw them.

They looked almost like little portions of clouds just floating around really, really fast. At first I thought they were just spot lights from somewhere, but they were to faint and they were not going in a specific pattern. They were just swarming around and around and they started to grow in numbers and when we continued to go down the road and past the deli, they were always next to us.

I don't know what exactly they were, but they were defiantly not spotlights, because they were to faint to be and they didn't have a pattern.

Large Reddish Orange Ball Over East Tawas State Dock In East Tawas Michigan

Time: Approx: 10:10 p.m.

On the night of Sept. 5, 2010 my wife, myself and another couple were sitting on the back of my boat at East Tawas State dock in East Tawas, Michigan. It was about 10:10pm when we observed a large reddish orange ball that looked like it was on fire. At first though I though it was a hot air balloon that was on fire. It traveled from the southwest to the northeast in what appeared to be a horizontal path.

After about 20 seconds it accelerated to a high rate of speed and went up and out of sight. A friend of mine told me today that the news in upper Michigan reported that a near miss with an asteroid took place that night. I doubt that an asteroid could change direction and then accelerate. I wonder why this did not make the world news. Any information that you might have will be appreciated.

Witnesses Observe UFO Through An Orion Starblast 6 In Central Mississippi

Time: Approx: 7:30 p.m.

I am in central Mississippi. Around 7:30pm I noticed a bright object high in the sky and slightly southwest (it was not Venus). I brought out my Orion Starblast 6 which I use as a rookie only. I received the scope as a gift and I can find some of the obvious items in space. I centered the object in the finder scope, then dropped in a 25mm eyepiece and found that the object was almost out of sight.

I found it and then dropped in a 10mm eyepiece and again the object was nearly out of sight, I found it. This entire time I am thinking that this is Jupiter. At first glance I still thought it was Jupiter with one moon visible. Once I focused I realized that the "moon" was rapidly moving around the sphere.



My wife was outside and I asked her to take a look. She saw the same thing. The "moon" appeared to be tethered to the main object that was a sphere. It was a perfect night for seeing with no distortion at all in the atmosphere. I looked again, then my wife and then me again. On this observation the sphere broke apart into many pieces that began to scatter rapidly. I then caught a red "flame" in the scope and followed it until it went behind the trees in my back yard. The red flame appeared to have a tail waiving behind it. I went inside and grabbed my phone and noticed that it was 744 pm.

UFO Shoots Skyward Over Glasgow Scotland UK

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Tonight while out having a cigarette I noticed a strange orange/white glow in the sky. I quickly shouted out my mother (who I was visiting). The sphere like object was at first moving closer to us. It stopped and moved some more. Suddenly it shot straight up into the sky until it was almost star sized.

Then again it started to move along the sky and suddenly it split into two objects.

I know about Chinese lanterns and how they have been reported as UFO's, but this was nothing like that. Not at the speed this object shot up into the sky.

I would like to know if anyone else saw this object too. It certainly was the weirdest thing I have ever saw!

Flaming Orange Light Over Cayuga Lake State Park New York

Hello, I was just searching the web to see if I could find info on similar sightings to the one we had on September 9th. That night we were camping at Cayuga Lake State park and around 9:00 pm we witnessed what I could only describe as a flaming orange light (looked like a giant paper bag on fire) come up from the horizon.

It seemed to float slowly up into the sky for a minute of so then the flame seemed to go out but we could still see the faint glow of the object which then proceeded to fly off to the west at a high rate of speed. Never seen anything like it. Hope this info is useful. Cheers.

Orange Object Observed Over The State Of Georgia

Hey , I am a college student in the state of Georgia. Tonight around 9:00 I was sitting on my back porch and was looking at the planes and helicopters outside. I began to watch the stars and I looked straight up and saw an orange light in the sky.

At first I thought it was a plane, but it was way too high. It began to move across the sky at a medium speed, but at the same time it could have been going really fast because of the vast amount of distance that it covered. After it was out of sight, I decided to describe what I saw and type it into YouTube, only to find out that people all over have been seeing this same strange orange dot.

Dark Gold Orange Object Leaves Trail Over Fort Wayne Indiana

Time: 7:00 a.m.

I too saw something out of the normal on Saturday Morning Sept 4 about 7:00am, as I was driving west on Jefferson Blvd from Main St. in Fort Wayne. It was to my left (north) about 300 ft off ground moving to the West. (about speed of airplane)

It looked like a Meteor, but to me more like something entering the earths atmosphere. It was leaving a trail and was dark gold/orange in color. I turned to my passenger and asked if they too saw that, and they replied yes.

When we arrived at our destination about 3 minutes later, I was standing by the car and looked toward the sky in the area I projected it to be traveling, and didn’t see anything, but heard a very load roaring sound for about 4-5 minutes. (sounded like I was standing in the middle of a highway.) This is weird, I was wandering if this had been seen or heard by anyone else in our area.

Orange Ball With Comet Like Tail Over Poughquag New York

Thanks for your site now I know I’m not crazy.

I’m sitting around my fire ring in the back yard with my wife and two friends kicking back and commenting on what an absolute beautiful night it is with a crystal clear sky. Minutes later I see an orange ball of light zip through the sky right above the tree tops from where I was sitting.

I jumped up and ran across the yard as it disappeared at the tree line, trying to follow it through the sky, but it was gone behind the trees. I said “Did you see that” to everyone, but they had their backs to it at the time. I said it was a orange ball with a long comet like tail that just zipped through the sky, a half hour later I said “you did see me get up and run across the yard, Right?” as I was beginning to maybe second guess myself.

My house is often in the approach lane for Stewart airport and I observed some big jets later in the evening and clocked them through the same tree line to tree line that I witnessed the object cover and although I realize the distance from the object is a big part of the equation I can say that orange ball was 30X the speed of other plane in the sky that night. I just had to look online and see if anyone else saw what I saw, and sure enough on the same night at about the same time there is a report here from Kingston, NY which is 50 minutes from my house about an orange ball in the sky.

Two Orange Lights Over North Of Mason City Iowa

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was standing outside my apartment talking to my mother on the phone when I noticed a light from the east moving slowly west. It looked like it was just north of town. It was an orange-ish color. I watched it move to the west until my view was blocked by trees.

I thought it was just a helicopter, but it was strange there was no sound. Usually the only helicopters in Mason City are the life flight ones coming and going to the hospital that is located just a few blocks from my apartment, so when they come and go I can certainly hear them.

About two minutes after seeing the first one, another light appeared from the same location. this time I paid closer attention to it. It moved in the same direction as the first one, east to west and slowly. I watched as it moved until it was directly north of me. then it did! something different than the first, it turned and moved north. It moved slowly north and then seemed as if it stopped for about 30 seconds. Then it seemed to be moving much faster and quickly disappeared into the northern night sky.

Ball Of Fire In The Sky Over Shelby Mansfield KOA Ohio

We had a sighting on September 4th, 2010 around 11:00pm. We were camping at the Shelby-Mansfield KOA (http://www.shelbymansfieldkoa.com/) and watched the same "fireball" type object that many are reporting.

A number of us at the campground stopped whatever we were doing and watched this object, so there are a good number of folks who witnessed this. We watched the "flaming" object travel the entire horizon from a north-to-south direction. We could not determine a shape, but it appeared to be a fire in the sky, moving quickly.

We watched it for a few minutes and even walked into other campsites to confirm the sighting. Our first hypothesis was satellite burning up, since it appeared to be gaining in elevation slowly before tracking upward out of site (did not fade over the horizon) thinking about space junk burning and skipping across the top of the atmosphere.

Flame Like Orange Object Seen Over Macomb County Michigan

Full Description of Event/Sighting: At approximately 10:05pm I saw a slow moving, large orange object which looked like flames sorta, shaped like half of a sun with peaked flares following the entire shape.

It moved from the southwest to northeast across a road full of streetlights. My granddaughter (20) watched as I also saw it very clearly go over the road. We thought it was a plane, but no other lights. Later at 10:30 pm., it appeared in the same place and it started in town going the same direction, now 2 (22) (20) granddaughters and I watched as it seemingly stayed in one place for an instant then moved east, and clearly disappeared.

This took a long time, we still thought it was a plane, but defiantly no other lights, or sound. We are in the country and it was a very clear night.

Did not appear to be one object but multiples. Reminded me briefly of trails left by fireworks but they stood still in the sky and just faded away 1 and 2 at a time. From the time we noticed them we observed them for roughly a minute or more.

The lights had a sort of twinkle to them and it seemed as though they were on fire. They then started to turn in a different direction. Right when I took out my phone to take a picture, they disappeared. There was no more light in the sky. Earlier that day, I saw one light going the opposite direction as these.

4 Different Orange Balls Of Light Over Lake Dallas Texas

Last night, September 4, 2010 at 10:20 p.m. we witnessed 4 different “orange balls of light” over Lake Dallas, TX. They shot up from the ground, then hovered in the air for a few minutes, then shot up to the sky and disappeared. It wasn’t all four at once. The 1st one got our attention, then right after it stopped hovering and shot towards the sky 2 more came and did the same thing.

Then as the 2 stopped hovering, the last one shot up really fast and then disappeared. My mom and dad, sister and brother-in-law and my husband and myself all witnessed this. We have no idea what is was.

Four Orange Lights Over Asheville North Carolina

We are in Asheville NC at a street festival about 9:00pm, and saw 4 of these about 5 minutes apart, all on the same path/track, except one was a little lower and we lost it in the tree line. Five Bright Orange Balls Of Light Over Kingston Area In Ulster County New York

To Brian Vike, at 9:02 PM EST myself and my girlfriend witnessed five bright orange balls of light in the sky over Kingston area in Ulster County NY. I was outside with my car and first saw two which multiplied to three in a vertical line, ran to the door and got my girlfriend outside, in those few seconds there was five in a rough circle. They stayed stationary, and low in the northeast horizon (I'd say over the Hudson River) for approximately two minutes then one by one vanished. Happened yesterday, September 5, 2010.

Usually have scoffed at things like this until I found your site with very similar sightings.

Three Orange Lights Over Hilltowns Berkshire Mtns Central Massachusetts

Hi, I'm on my blackberry trying to find info regarding 3 bright round orange lights seen in the sky last night. My husband and I live in central Massachusetts, the "Hilltowns" of the Berkshire Mtns. Last night, Sept. 5th, 2010, we were in our hot tub checking out the milky way, very visible, when all of a sudden, moving from the northwest to the southeast, in perfect line formation, same exact distance apart, we see 3 orange lights.

We turned off the hot tub to listen for the roar of a plane, but heard absolutely nothing. They moved into a triangle formation and then just "dissolved." They just faded out. There were no clouds last night. The stars were so visible, it was breath taking. We live 45 miles from the nearest city, so there are no city lights.

Airplane traffic which moves from the west and south to the east can be seen moving toward Logan Int'l airport, but every plane flashes white/red/green lights and you can hear them in the distance. There was no sound, they were bright orange, sphere like and traveled at a pace not equivalent to an airplane.

They moved much quicker. They appeared to be close as opposed to far away, but we only had about 10 seconds to watch them move across the sky. They traveled right through the airplane traffic, cris-crossed it perfectly.

Where can I go please, to get some information on this? Please advise. Thank you.

A Loud Boom Was Heard And Yellow Light Seen Over Elmwood Park Illinois

Hello, ok here's my story, I live in Elmwood Park Illinois and I was parking my car in the driveway as I just got home. I heard a boom and as I looked up in the sky with my girlfriend, I saw a flame -ish, yellowish light floating from south to north and then it vanished.

My girlfriend tried taking a photo of it with her camera phone, but not much came out. I am sending you the picture we tried to get. This was on the evening of September 5th around 10:15 pm, I'm a bit confused, also still hovering in the east are bright lights, but that might be a weather radar pattern or something. Sincerely.

Orange UFO And A Flash Seen From Hill St. By Larsen Middle School Elgin Illinois

Sorry for the bother, but we have had an experience like the on your website. Today around 10:03 we spotted an orange sphere in the 60120 area around Hill St. By Larsen middle school. At first the sphere was moving somewhat slow, but then it sped up at first we thought it was a plane or helicopter, but we realized it was moving too fast.

As we followed it, there was a big flash and at that moment it seemed to disappear, but like a minute later re-appeared and was moving back and forward at alarming speeds. Then about 10 minutes later we saw government planes scouting the area.

At this moment (10:36) they are still searching the skies. We would like to know any information that you have on it and if you hear about any one else having this same experience please contact us A.S.A.P. We tried taking a video, but nothing seemed to show on it.

Ten Reddish Orange Balls Of Light Over Amity Harbor New York

About an hour ago my mom and I were just sitting outside and out of nowhere we see reddish orange balls come behind out neighbors house. There were about ten of them. They weren't in a straight line, but they were all really close and made no sound at all. They all faded out when then came to a specific point right in front of us.

They moved from the right to in front of our faces in the sky. It was super creepy and they didn't look like planes. I live in Amity Harbor, NY. This story sounded so similar to what I saw. I can't explain it at all.
