Description: Posting this for an elderly man: He saw a bright light in sky from the church beside old Lynnfield Railroad station on Summer Street. No train due, and suddenly automobile raced from Forrest Street across Summer Street into church parking lot. A large metallic ball was following above tracks, above trees. Driver got out and stood over tracks, hands raised and the ball had hovered overhead, possibly magnetized or repelled by steel rails of railroad bed. Continued into Reedy Meadow towards existing Rte. 128/I95. His name was George and his friend was scared and denied everything. Automobile was an early 50s Ford.
Color/Shape: Silver metallic ball about 50 feet round.
Height & Speed: Above the trees - about 60 - 100 feet.
