Full Description of event/sighting: I just happened to look outside my back window and saw this object zip through the sky. It happened very fast. I couldn't make out any details except to say that it was rounded and left a trail like a thick, yellow-orange line that made a west to east trajectory. Then took a sudden, but rather zig-zagged dive below the horizon. I've seen meteors, fire flies, airplanes, satellites and even the space shuttle and this looked like none of those. My only guess is that it was some kind of fireball. I stayed up that night checking the news reports expecting to hear something about "That weird light everyone is calling about." But no such thing happened. My on-line friend saw something similar a few nights later in Texas. To date neither of us have a good explanation for what we saw.
