One Mile West Of Sikeston, Missouri A Half Moon Shape Object

Posted: January 18, 2008

HBCC UFO Research Note: The witness drew a wonderful diagram of what was observed. Always something to keep in mind when filing a sighting report, if at all possible it would be so very helpful if anyone can draw a rough diagram of what they saw, in relation with the surrounding area. This gives a better idea of what is actually seen. The diagrams do not have to be fancy at all, just an idea of what the objects look like.

Date: July 31, 2006 Time: Approx: 11:10 pm. (Central Time)

Mr. Vike, On July 31, 2006 I was on my way home from work when I noticed a half moon shape object a dull red color to the right of me I was going west the object started on the right side and went to the left I seen the object for about five minutes it really puzzled me and it was low to the ground just so that I could see it above the tree line about forty -five feet. I would like to know your input on this. Thank you.

Additional Information:

Mr. Vike, Here are the answers to the questions you asked.

The sighting took place about one mile west of Sikeston, Missouri, United States.state hwy 60

The time was around 11:10 pm. central time.

I'm not sure whether there was any vehicles around at the time.

The weather was humid but pretty clear.

The object would have been two mile at farthest point.

I had the air conditioner on in my truck no sound was noticed.

The object started moving from the right to the left lowering closer to the ground as it went.

No air craft was seen.

I was not aware of any missing time.

I attached a draft

I can't really think of any thing else. I attached a draft.

Thank you to the witness for the interesting report.
