Full Description of event/sighting: Observed white round object just East of Sun. It moved to westward of Sun. Clear blue sky and moving East to West. Then at 12 noon it just vanished. It appeared about four times the diameter of Venus. From about 5 o'clock position on object there was a blue extension of a length about half the diameter of object. It moved from an angular altitude of about 60 degrees, bearing about 115 degrees True, to an angular altitude of about 75 degrees, bearing about 195 degrees True. It appeared to cross the sky about the speed of a jet passenger plane flying at 25,000 to 30,000 feet. It is about three miles north of a small airplane airport, Pierce County Airport, otherwise known as Thun Field. It was observed from my backyard at Latitude 47 degrees 08.93 minutes North, Longitude 122 degrees 17.07 minutes West.
