Time: Evening.
My family in Salt Lake City saw orange lights-I missed it. Can't find anything else on this. I think my brother took picture.

My family was able to see the same thing. They were so bright they looked like stars in a a v like formation. Within 5 minutes they started darting away and then they were gone. It was amazing! Next thing you know planes from ft. dougles were in the air.
Driving west tonite(1/14 8:30ish?) from about 1300so I saw 4 orange lights in a line formation, probably aircraft going to SLC airport, but they seemed strange, got home about 5min later and tried to see them but they were gone.
