Shape of Objects: Large (like a harvest moon).
Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was leaving my boyfriends house at 4:00 a.m, as I started down the road, I noticed a large light colored object (not a bright light, but more like a harvest moon color, but not orange) above the horizon.
At first I thought it was a harvest moon, but it was in the wrong place in the sky and there wouldn't be a harvest moon in March. Then I noticed it was moving, so I followed it, it stayed on a straight course, but appeared to be getting smaller as it went.
Then it got very small and disappeared. It was a clear night, not a cloud in site.

I worked at a South Carlolina state prision back in 1999 and seen something kind of similar to what you described. I was circling the perimeter of the prison one night and as I came around one corner I seen an object that looked like the largest moon I had ever seen in my life. It looked about three times bigger than the moon when it's closest to the Earth. I stopped the truck and just looked at it, with tears streaming down my face, I sped around to where another officer was on a post and I took a pair of their binoculars and drove back around to where I seen it but it was gone. I wish I had stayed a while longer to watch it leave but I didn't :( I'll always regret that. Sorry it wasn't in the same area as your sighting as you had asked but I just had to comment on that.
